This class is really basis Health Ed class and Professor Parks does a good job of giving you a brief overview of all the important things. She makes class fun and entertaining. She is an excellent professor.

She is one of the coolest professors that I've had. Definately take her class, she makes class fun and gives answers to tests.

Professor Parks is an enthusiastic and passionate teacher. Her classes were enjoyable while also being informative. Only 3 tests- FINAL not cummulative. One community based project that is super easy and fun!!! Not a stressful or hard class by any stretch. She is also willing to help out students with anything. Take this class!

She's one of the easiest teachers you'll ever take. TAKE HER lol. The material is easy and its not hard at all. The only thing hard on you is the price of the book lol.

She is a wonderful professor, she cares about her students a lot. Helps you with anything you need and gives you a couple second chances if needed. Great lectures, very interesting, a nice and enthisiastic and mildly crazy woman. 3 tests she gives good study guides for. Study these and use the book and you will ace it. Must put 10 hrs of volunteer work in. Recommended for lower division GE.

She is a really really good teacher and very understanding. She is laid back. Tests are easy as long as you came to class and reviewed a little or at least read the book. she focuses on teaching you as a person about health on the test not what you dont know. Extemely helpful. I would def recommend her.

She is so helpful and also very felexable when it comes down to exams and assigments. She gives us 10 points of extra credit on exams, which are multiple choice. overall, very very easssssssy classs. Parks is awesome. She gives an identical study guide before each test. She is very easy to talk to and is very caring for your grade. She can be somewhat disorganized at times, but this class is a guaranteed A if you just do your job. She doesn't give that much work either, and I ended up recieving an A. Highly recommended.

Sweet lady! She has a hard time keeping her class in order with all the crazy, talkative freshman but I enjoyed her class. She's open to talking about anything, and if you do the assignments and actually review the study for the test you'll get an easy A.

She reviews what material she wants you to focus on in her class by utilizing Power Point slides. She brings in more information to her class than just text lessons and lectures. She?s really funny, too.

This class is very easy. The teacher is disorganized but very nice. Show up and take notes. She reviews before each exam. Don't buy the textbook. You don't need it. There are a few random assignments she gives out. It's easy work to do for an A.

Very nice lady, makes the class interesting. But she had a dark side, you can tell. But she is always always late and never responds to emails even after you have sent it a few times. It is so hard to get ahold of her. Also write everything down that is due, she wont remind you until the day of.

She's a cool teacher. I took her Friday class (Women & Health) The book is not needed. She gives a study guide and is helpful. She's always late to class...about 15 minutes. If you want an easy A take this class.

Her class is very easy to pass. Her exams come straight from the study guides she gives out and she extra credit opportunities to better your grade. The textbook is hardly used. Her notes come from a powerpoint and she tends to rush through them sometimes. Overall, she's a great professor.

She's really nice, sweet, and easy. If you didn't do well on a test, than she'll let you write a paper of what you didn't learn and will give you extra credit points for it. I really recommend this class if you want an easy grade :)

I almost wish I hadn't taken this class so that I could take it again! This class was an easy A if you show up, use the study guides, do one community service project, and read your text book. The professor is really a great teacher and she's super funny. I do recommend spending the money on the textbook it will get you through your study guide!

This is one of the few classes you will find that is easy to past & understand. There are midterm but if you do poorly on them and turn all the written homework assignments, she will help you. I 100% recommend this class if you need it for your GEDs. Won't regret it but you must turn in the assignments and be in class at all times

Robyn is pretty cool. Study the study guide, read the book, take notes in class from her powerpoint, and do the community service (you can literally do anything you want for as long as you want.. she's super flexible). She offers extra credit after every test and she wants you to do the best you can to succeed.

She's amazing! She's super understanding and will always try to help you raise your grade. Don't be shy with her! The more she gets to know you the more willing she is to help you. Oh and she loves to talk! Study her study guides and use the book and you're set to go! Her tests are not hard.

Professor Parks is hilarious, she gets your attention during lectures by applying real life circumstances. At times she may repeat something twice but it's because she has two classes of the same subject and forgets if she's mentioned something already. robyn is a pretty funny professor. if you're into women's studies then take her women and health class. not only does she teach about women or health, she talks about feminists issues and she's very understanding and gives "mental health days", that you can skip class if you feel you have to. just show up and you'll pass.

She made this class so interesting. She was really funny and would always make jokes. I loved this class because of her. She really cares about her students learning the material in this class and she is a great teacher.

Her lectures are PowerPoint but she mainly has discussions about the topics with the students and about her own experiences throughout the class. She is very flexible and understands the stresses of students, but could be unorganized at times. She is always willing to answer questions and wants the best for her students.

Robyn is awesome. Shes funny and her lectures are PowerPoints but she tries her best to give you the information shes going to test you on. I learned a lot even though I did the minimum. Shes great for sure take her if you get the chance.

However, the lectures are mostly all powerpoint and you have to study off those notes or the book. 1 paper and 3 tests (that includes the final). There are a lot of chances to get extra credit, just ask :) If you can keep on top of the lectures, you'll be fine!

This course was very fun to take. She is a great professor and her class is easy. Only problem is she doesn't post lectures or grades on canvas, so you don't really know your grade until you're done with the couse :/

Okay, here's the break down of the class. Exam's 1-3 25%. Written homework 25%. Attendance 5% of your grade. First exam very easy, she basically gives you the answers. However, the last two are a bit more difficult. Does not post power points of lectures. Does not you canvas for anything. She is sweet but at the end, we need to know our grades.

Course was fun and easy to take! The professor is really funny and I have learned a lot through the course itself! My only pet peeve is that grades were never posted on Canvas, but we would get Scantrons back from our test with the grade on them so it wasn't a complete mystery.

Make sure to attend to class and I recommend bringing your laptop to type the notes. She can be fast in lecturing so typing makes it faster and easier. Your grade will be based off of mainly 4 Exams including the Final and a paper which is fairly easy to do. Most of the exam questions are from the lectures and the textbook for depth.

She is the best professor I have had so far. She cares about everyone passing her class. Just read, take good notes, and you'll be fine!

Robyn is by far one of the best professors Ive had. She is hilarious and makes my days. I love her lectures. I seriously recommend you take her class. You wont regret it!

Professor Parks is such a sweet lady! It's also an easy A class. There are 2 exams and 1 final which are based off the book/powerpoints but its super easy bc she lets you do test corrections for extra credit. For the final she let us have a 1 page back/front study guide! You learn and easily pass! she does pass out a signing sheet so go to class

I loved Professor Parks. She was honestly the sweetest person ever. I don't do well on exams, but she really tries her best for you to do well and pass. Her lectures are great and funny. She really lets you know what will be on the test so you are ready. Just go to class and read the book. You will be fine. Great professor!

Professors gives a lot of opportunity to improve on grades and generous with exam preparation. She's charismatic and enjoyable to listen to.

I took her for Women's Health and Science 231 and it was basically the best sex ed class I never had. But it's also so much more than that! Robyn knows so much about the material she teaches, the class is set up in a smart and efficient manner, and all in all you can get a lot out of it. Very little work, though, wish there was more discussion. :)

Professor Parks is a sweet lady. She provided us with study guides similar to the exams. She made lectures very funny and interesting.

She is so caring and so sweet, so it definitely shows how much she cares about her students. There weren't any assignments given, so you have to study very well for the 3 exams that she gives because your grade essentially depends on that only! I passed with minimal work being put in, so that says a lot. I would recommend this class for sure.

She's alright. Only 3 exams for the entire semester & 1 assignment. Only reason I wouldn't take her again is that she can be disorganized. Currently we are cramming up several chapters for the final exam. Tests have over 80 multiple choice questions that need to be completed within class time... so an hour or so. Other than that EASY A!

Robyn is so funny and caring. Her class consisted of 4 exams. She does go off topic but is a very knowledgeable person. It is an easy class.

Professor Parks is AMAZING!! She gives few assignments, but you will have a couple of exams through the course. She gives study guides that basically cover the exam. Professor really wants you to learn and is very understanding.

I love Robyn she was such a great professor Fall 2021 semester! I highly recommend that you take her because the lectures are very interesting and you're able to hear experiences from other students. If you have test anxiety this class will work for you because she goes over the tests in depth before the exam date.

Did not use the textbook once! Little to no homework, and 3 multiple choice exams! I would suggest to take this class if you want easy credit! She's a great person, however, her lectures are kind of useless. My only complain is that she's very unorganized. However, she is an EASY A. I see no reason to fail this class.

Professor Parks is an amazing professor. She is very kind, funny, and understanding. Her class has three exams and little homework. So it's very easy to get a good grade in her class. Just make sure to study and pay attention to her lectures.

The material was a little difficult, and you REALLY have to study hard for the tests. Despite that, I thought the professor was absolutely lovely, she made the class a lot more fun and we only get one homework assignment throughout the semester. She also has extra credit opportunities.

This professor is very sweet and genuinely wants her students to learn the information and not just memorize. There wasn't much homework but you definitely learn a lot of interesting things and as long as you listen you'll do fine on tests as well. She was always really nice and really appreciates having participation during her lectures. :))

She's amazing some test are hard but if you study you will do great and if you need to bring up your grade she will give you extra credit just pay attention during lectures you will do fine! Overall love her class

She was an amazing person. She is extremely sweet and funny, she makes her classes fun. However, she only gives tests and no homework. If you score low on any of your exams then you will basically not pass her class.

This professor was very entertaining and hardworking but only grades a few assignments which impacts heavily on grades

3 tests and 1 assignment where you donate something to the food pantry for credit. She provides study guides for every test so make sure you try to fill it out before the lecture where she goes over it, it'll help you with questions you may not know. She cares about the students and wants everyone to pass.

She is very funny and uses real life examples. She doesn't really post assignments or material on canvas on time so take notes during lecture. Def would take her again!

the sweetest professor ive ever had. took her my first semester as a freshman and she really made adjusting manageable. lectures are interesting and engaging. no homework except a food donation assignment. graded on 3 easy peasy exams. highly highly recommend.

If you are considering taking this course, TAKE IT WITH ROBYN PARKS! She is a wonderful professor, I would suggest going to class everyday. Do the study guides, she will have exam review days so be sure to go! There are 3 exams in total, one assignment and then some extra credit.

Professor Robyn is inspirational, caring and admirable. Her outlook on life and human kind has been such an eye opening experience. She truly cares and as long as you communicate with her, she support you and is so flexible. I loved her course and whole persona! Definitely recommend!!

She really makes you feel like family. She is so understanding,sassy(in a good way),funny,and full of knowledge. She made sure that the lectures were relatable and shared personal experiences of being completely vulnerable. She has 2tests and a final and gives extra credit opportunities. I love her so much and hope to take her again in the future.

She is nice and the class is easy enough, but her TA is frustrating to have there. He talks and acts like he is above everyone. He held a highly inappropriate impromptu seminar on "things we can do to lose weight" immediately after a tense class discussion where some individual opened up about their struggles with weight. He should not be a TA.

Parks was an amazing professor. She is very caring and will spend most of the class time talking about problems in the world and discussing how we feel. One group presentation + assignments were very easy and we had so much time to complete them! Take her, you will not regret it. Very easy class
