Awesome teacher! She is so fun to just watch and listen to stories she has, very clear in notes that are taken and really peopwants people to pass, tests are very easy, but you also learn alot with lectures she gives, I recommend her 100%

Dr. Gordon is a great teacher. I am as lazy as they come and she kept me interested with her informative lectures.

SHE IS AN AMAZING INSTRUCTOR! Her tests are tough though, so when she gives you the info to review... STUDY! She definetly knows her Psychology! She has worked with primates & ocean mammals. She has so many interesting stories to tell & makes this course very fun!

I absolutely love Dr. Gordon! She actually made me want to go to class and pay attention. She got me so interested in the subject, I am now majoring in psychology. Dr. Strickland-Gordon was an amazing teacher. I loved her to death. She was very interested in what you were doing and would talk to your on a personal level everyday. Loved to laugh and LOVES HARRY POTTER. Want to get on her good side...talk about Harry Potter. TAKE HER FOR ANYTHING!! She is amazing.

Dr. Gordon is an awesome professor. Her lectures are interesting and fun to listen to because of her great personality and funny stories. She is more interested in teaching the concepts of psychology rather than rote memorization. I recommend her to anyone that plans to take Intro to Psychology.

She is a great teacher. She LOVES harry potter. She has fun teaching and is on the same level as her students. I learned a lot of interesting stuff from her. our final was open notes and book and as a group but she ended up chippen in. You gotta be outgoing in her class or all she'll do is lecture so get involved~

Had Dr. Gordon for HG&W. She's a very cool person. The tests were easy, and I learned a lot of good stuff from her.

Shes the best!! i recommend her for any class you can take that she teaches. she teaches with real life experience. this woman has worked with everything such as animals and mentally challanged people . if you make lower than an a theres something wrong.. TAKE HER!!

Best Teacher Ever! Very funny, Very interesting. I learned a bunch of neat things in her class. She has seen and done it all...really! I highly recommend taking her for everything she teaches. Class was easy. She lectured and we had take home tests. No final!! She loves class participation, Harry Potter, and Dragons. Don't be shy! EASY A.

I've taken her for Ab Psych and HG&D. She is wonderful. She makes the lectures fun, includes everyone, discusses everything in detail & had either take home tests or open note tests. She used her text and gave great examples. She had plenty of projects to help you and it was very easy to understand. She will go out of her way to help you. Take her!

Dr. Strickland- Gordon is an absolutely amazing teacher. I have fallen in love with her and have decided to take her HG&D class next semester. She definetly keeps things at a fast pace. Very enthusiastic aout her subject area. Great Professor.

I TOOK HER CLASS ONLINE. VERY EASY CLASS, YOU GET OUT OF IT WHAT YOU PUT INTO IT. THERE IS NO MIDTERM OR FINAL. JUST HAVE TO DO HOMEWORK AND TURN IT IN. ITS AN EASY A, AND I LIKED HER VERY MUCH!

Very good Prof. Can use notes for her tests. Tests are still hard even with notes. Take notes on chapters in text plus notes from class.

Definitely a great professor. Lectures are more like conversations, easy to understand and allows for your own input. Very funny, and very knowledgeable. Has a lot of great stories that are relevant, as well as not, but funny none-the-less. Was never tempted to fall asleep. Makes you really like the subject.

I took this class online and still had a pretty good experience. It was hard not being in class to teach yourself psych, but this teacher kept you on point with her discussion questions. Great assignments, definitely kept you interested. I recommend her 100%!!

Easy class, the book and reading it is interesting and somewhat humorous. I liked this class and would love to take her again.

I took dr. strickland-gordon for human growth and development. She was extremely helpful and relates what you learn to real life situations so you can comprehend and hold the information, she's an awesome proffessor with a sense of humor. She's been one of my favorites.

LOVE HER! She is respectful, informative, and lets you use her notes on tests! Don't let the easiness of her class fool you...You will learn a lot, and she is well educated in her field.

She is a great teacher. She breaks the material down so it's easy, tests are open notes (I'm taking Psych) however there are a couple wild card questions thrown in. Makes extra credit available, and has interesting discussion. I'd def recommend her-I'm taking her next semester for Abnormal Psych

She is great!! very Fun class and funny teacher.. I loved going to her class Easy A. Tells you what is on the test and you use your notes for the test. The class is great seriously, if you're not interrested/excited in Psychology you will be before the first day of class is over

One of the BEST teachers I've ever had!! I had no interest in Psychology before this class, but now I love it! She makes you interested in the subject. The tests are easy, just write down her notes from the board, and she lets you use them on the test. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER!!

Love her! I took psychology and it was easy. She makes it fun and funny. The tests are easy you can use notes on all of them. She pulls out the test and tells you whats on each of the answers so you can write your notes prior to the test.

Extremely easy, you will never find someone like her. It doesn't matter what class you have her, its going to be soo easy, you got my word.

Took this online. Alot of material is covered & you learn alot but it's an easy A. There are 5 open book quizzes and 5 papers to write that are pretty short & easy, no final. Dr.SG gives feedback on all of your papers & tells you what you missed. Even though there was only contact via email it's clear that she cares & takes the time to communicate.

took abnormal psych online and took forever for her to give feedback on case studies.

Easiest class I've ever taken. The lectures were really interesting and all the tests were take home. The midterm and final were open book. I would definitely recommend this class to everyone, especially if you're looking for an easy A.

this class is awesome. the teacher is great and always makes class interseting. the summer is the best time to take this class its really lax and your only graded on quizes attendance and journal entries. cant ask for an easier class and an awesome teacher!

I took her Psychology, Abnormal Psych and Human Growth and Development classes online and they were all great! No in class midterm and final, everything is online! Got A's in all three and as long as you keep up with the work you will too. She gets back to you quickly with any questions too.

Literally the BEST teacher at NWFSC. She always has the answers to the questions I ask and gives really good information. I don't even need one of her other classes for the career field I'm going in but she is that good of a teacher I'm taking her class anyways! TAKE HER YOU WILL LOVE IT!

Best Professor I've had by far! She's so funny and makes learning psychology a breeze. You have to study and take good notes but she gives multiple choice exams and they aren't too difficult, given that you actually come to class and pay attention.

Great teacher! The course was easy with open book exams or a note card. Homework was simple and to the point. Class was fun and inviting. I didn't miss a class because I never wanted to. She really makes this class fun and I learned a lot!

Hands down the best teacher you will most likely ever have! She says exactly everything you want to hear and is very good at getting you into the subject and keeping your attention. We had maybe 5 homework assignment that were 3-5 questions each, and all test and the final were even posted online. Never even had to open my book. #EasiestAEver!!!

She is very helpful and her lectures are interesting. Her tests can be tricky. I had her for Intro to Psych and many questions on the test are applied, like scenarios. If you want to do very well (A+), you should take additional notes from the textbook, and not rely only on the notes you scribble down from her lectures.

My absolute favorite teacher ever!

One of my favorite lecture classes I've ever taken! She makes the class very relatable and fun to be in. I thought the tests were rather hard despite what everyone else says, they ask questions from the book not just the lecture so be sure to actually get the book unlike I did.

Lectures were fun. Gave no homework, just did a couple online tests from book and then the couple tests we took in class. Best professor I've ever had!

Amazing professor, admirable.

I took hum. growth & dev. fall 2017. She let us have a 3 by 5 notecard on each of the 5 quizzes. For each quiz she read the specific topic of each question the day b4. the book is online and there are 18 chapters each with a module u must complete 4 participation . the final is online & easy. Final grade parts: modules30%, quizzes50%, final20%.

Heavy on lectures, but she mixes in jokes to keep you entertained. Quizzes can be tricky, although she does give a review

I took her 10 week summer class online and it was such an easy A. I wasnt sure if Id like psychology and while I dont think Ill pursue it as a career field, I did enjoy the class itself. Also, she grades very fairly. As long as you answer completely and she can see that you tried on the discussion Qs and thinking exercises, shell give u an A+.

She knows how to teach - that's why it seems "easy". She is not an easy teacher. Understand the difference? awesome person. I highly recommend any of her classes. This is how learning should be. Easy, fun, and lots of work ;) Take her class and then write reviews for other professors to adopt her teaching methodology.
