Nice lady but inconsistent and hard grader.

She's a very nice lady who loves what she teach, and VERY smart one too. I learned alot in this class about arguments, we hold a lot of debates in class and even though she's a hard grader I know she does this for our long-term improvement, good teacher:)

Dr. Bradley is a wonderful teacher. She can take any story and analyze it to the core to unveil meanings you never would have found on your own. She is a very tough grader when it comes to essays, but she is always there to help in her office. I 100% reccommend taking advantage of her time to help you. Overall, I really enjoyed her and her class.

I have never failed a paper in my life until this class and I have failed everyone. Tough grader,doesn't respond to emails and unclear assignments if you get this professor i recommend dropping. IMMEDIATLY

She is a nice lady, but she is an extremely hard grader. Her quizzes are hard because she gives you terms to study. Than on the quiz there are dozens of other questions with just a few terms.
Dr. Bradly doesn't take the time to explain what her assignments are and instead talks for an hour about her own opinions on stories. I am dropping this class. Useless if you actually care about becoming a better writer. Fine if you want a religious gossip fest and no direction. I adore english and this class made me hate it.
She makes you not want to ask questions because if you do, when she answers she gives you 3 more questions that you want to know while not answering your own question in the first place

She rambles when she lectures, and it puts me to sleep because nothing she teaches is important. The only things that are graded are the essays, I always make A's on esssays, and I received a 90 and a 75 on two of them, so she's an insanely hard grader.
Great professor. Yes she is tough but she is fair and she helps keep her class interesting by talking to her students and joking. Very nice to talk to and will help you any way that she can. I would recommend her any day.
Unreasonably tough grader. Her lectures are useless and the only major grades are the essays, which she is very vague when assigning, yet nitpicks every detail when grading. She acts like she is willing to help you when you go to her during office hours, but I frequently visited her and she never offered any helpful advice.
Grading is sooo unreasonable. Such a tough class. You have to spend a minimum of 20 hours on one paper. Ps: I loved English before the class.
Unless you are willing to put an extraordinary amount of work in don't take this class! I have never worked so hard for a B in my life. Her grading is ridiculous and very unreasonable.
She is very passionate about what she teaches. I don't think she liked me because I challenged her on some religious stuff in class. For that reason she was a VERY tough grader. Do the discussion forums, or they'll kill you.
she is nice enough, however I would strongly suggest you choose another professor. she is EXTREMELY nit-picky and is an equally as hard grader. in high school english was my favorite subject and I was very good at it, but when I got to her class my confidence diminished. the writing lab gave my paper a B- she gave it a D+. not recommended
She makes interesting points on her short stories. There is an enormous amount of work to put into her class. She grades really hard on her essays. I was always doing some sort of work for her class. I wouldn't take her again, but it is possible to pass.
Go to every class if taking the blended course. I was really confused on most of the essays and she was a very hard grader. If you take the class you will need to go to her office hours. She rambles a lot but she is a nice lady just not the best instructor.
She is a VERY hard grader. You write 3 major papers which is your entire grade pretty much. She is so confusing on prompts for papers. I recommend you take someone else! I worked my but off and made a low B! She's crazy!!!!
Dr. Bradley is a great person but a super hard grader. She truly loves her job but she is very strict on her grading… If you are a good writer and took AP courses in High School you'll be fine, if not this may not be the right teacher for you, once again great lady but she is a "DR." so that explains her grading criteria.
Right off the bat she told us she normally gives out C or D papers… awesome lady but it is a lot of work. Her class is do-able, you'll pass but don't expect anything above a C
She gives you every chance you need to get a good grade. Yes she is a hard grader, but if you listen to what she is asking for for her essays and go to her office hours, you will make an A. Honestly, it is based on how much effort you're willing to put in. If you work hard, it will show.
I loved her. She has long lectures, and goes off a little but they are still very interesting. She is very funny and relatable. I would definitely take her for every english class.

Good God this class is ridiculous. She gives tons of notes for class but even then when you get to the test, half of it is stuff you've either never heard of or never would've expected to know. She grades incredibly hard too. You won't get an A, don't even bother trying. I've never hated English so much in my life.
I wish I would have found this website in August. Please do yourself a favor and save yourself major stress, do not take any class with this professor.

So, she's just like all professors-- you have to write essays. Use the directions, if you don't you won't do well. She grades tough but I think I deserved it. maybe.
I got an A, but it was extremely hard. I usually make A's on papers and got low to mid B's in her class. She is very passionate and knowledgable, but is a little to picky... She's a pretty hard grader. If you get B's on the papers and A's on everything else you can make an A.
If you think you're a good writer, do not take her class. Her strict grading will take away every bit of confidence you have in your writing abilities. Hardest essay grader I've ever came across. The exams have nothing to do with what she lectures and consist of material she never taught. But can make at most a B if you do well on the exams.
I took her blended class and it was a lot of online homework but it was very easy! And even though yes, she is a hard grader on the essays just go see her during office hours and she will revise your essay before you turn it in as many times as you need. She is very helpful you just have to put the effort!
I wish I did the extra credit you can get points added to your end grade! I don't like online classes, so I won't do it again, but this class was good. She wrote helpful things on my essays. Lots of stuff online to help you and class was interesting every week-- just make sure you do homework. If you like online classes, go for it.
She was wonderful! If you really want your degree your going to have to work for it. She is easy to talk to and her instructions were very clear. Just do your work and go to class.
This prof. is by far the worst prof. I've ever had. She always gives out pop quizzes so make sure you always do the assigned readings. Hardest essay grader by far I thought I was always did well in English until I got to her class. Killed my confidence in writing. Never really actually taught my class, just a bunch of heated discussions.
She's a really hard grader. If you make more than 2 grammar mistakes on your essay she will drop you down a letter grade. She rarely gives out A's paper. I would not take her again. I got stuck with her bc my professor was on maternity leave. The littlest things annoying her like how you email her.

Would not recommend if you are not a very strong writer, I have never made over a B on any of my papers. Has a lot of extra work to go along with the projects as well. Honestly would not recommend taking her.
Shes a tough grader, but if you pay attention and takes notes in class, she covers everything that she will be grading on each paper. No tests, only papers. Homework is fairly easy and quick, only requires to skim through whatever section of textbook she assigned. extra credit is super easy & goes towards your final grade. Good Prof!
I thought Dr. Bradley was an incredible professor. Although many have commented that she was a hard grader, one's essay grade directly reflects the amount of effort they put into the paper. Lectures were hard to follow at times but generally very interesting. Gives a fair bonus at the end of the semester. Would take again!
This professor told us the first day to expect a C. A teacher should not have preconceived notions about her students. In my case she was right. I was always a decent writer but made a D on all my essays except a B- on my first one. This class was by far the most demanding of all my classes. Several homework assignments every week. Avoid her.
It's an english class, so obviously there's gonna be a lot of papers. The woman grades way too hard, especially for a class at blinn, that's meant for freshman. She expects too much. I can honestly say I didn't learn a single thing from this class. She is nice though, a bit weird and bland, but nice.
I understand that this is an English class and we are suppose to expect a lot of papers and hard grading but she is completely UNREASONABLE. All she did was criticize and insult my writing. And literally picked apart every little thing about my papers. I finished with a D. DO NOT TAKE HER SHE'S SUCH A TOUGH GRADER.

There are 5 papers through out the semester, and she grades them unreasonably hard. I have made a D on the last three, and I spend well over a day working on them. There are quizzes online due before each class, which aren't super hard, but you definitely have to read for them. Tests are also graded extremely hard, especially for the passage ID's.
Incredibly tough grader. If you miss a few stories in the book, don't ever expect to get caught up. Obviously loves what she does and knows what she's talking about.
Dr. Bradley is a great professor. She is always available during her office hours and makes time for appointments if you email/talk to her ahead of time. You will do well on her papers if you take notes and ask her for help one on one. She grades very hard so I recommend going to office hours at least twice per paper. I overall learned a lot.
Professor Bradley is really awesome. She does ramble a lot but if you read everything it's not too bad. You have to read to pass the tests or just make sure you read a lot of outside sources. She grades papers hella tough which is the worst part, I'm pretty sure I would have gotten an A without the papers. Good luck!

No. I got my brother (an English major at U.T.)to edit my paper and I still got a B... I finished w/ a 89 and got a B. My only B..
I excelled in high school english, and yet managed to get a C on EVERY SINGLE PAPER that Bradley graded. When asked why I continuously got C's, Bradley said "because of run on sentences." Really, 2 whole letter grades because of run ons? She is very specific and to the book. Also complains about her family a lot, weird. Final was easy though.
She writes alot on papers, but I'd rather have a teacher that tells me how to fix my paper than one that doesn't. She DOES tell you that. also follow the directions or you suffer. But that's like most teachers. Overall, a good teacher. I'd prbbly take her again but thank god I'm done with English.
Bradley is a good professor however, she grades really seriously. Most of the comments that she will leave on your paper are not all that helpful besides basic grammar mistakes. Bradley is nice and does lecture a lot, which is helpful, but she does a lot of online homework that you have to keep up with on your own.
Took her freshman english class in college, deducts too many points for minor mistakes and grades papers like students are applying to NASA.

The work is not bad. We only wrote three essays plus one on the final. But the way she grades is ridiculous. She will give you good feedback on one thing, but once you fix that she'll find something else to take points off for. 0 out 5 would not recommend.
Beware of this professor. Currently in her class and its a nightmare. I really wish I would have read reviews before taking her class. Super tough grader. Rambles on and on in lectures. Says right? After every single statement almost. I have learned nothing. Hope I at least make it out with a passing grade.
if you care about your GPA and want to save your money, do not take Bradley. the minor assignments were simple and straightforward. but her essays were completely terrible. the rubric is simple but she grades the essays too unfairly. her feedback will not help you. i corrected my mistakes and received the same exact grade on all 3 essays. avoid her
do not take this class, Dr. Bradley was behind on grading all semester and i never knew what my essay 2 and 3 grades where because she only finished grading my 1st one. always took forever to respond to emails and was rarely there to help. She was a really nice lady but not a great proffesor.

Don't expect to make anything above a C on your essays. She'll give you feedback, but won't really tell you how to make your essays better. One plus is she does offer extra credit. Also, for the final, she gave us a review, but when we asked questions, she just reworded them to make it seem like she answered. But she didn't.

I don't like writing papers, so I didn't really like the class. But I think I learned a lot because my essay grades in my psychology class got better when i used the English stuff on those essays. So this class helped me in other classes too.
Even on an A+ paper, Dr. Bradley was able to provide a few critiques to enable future improvement. She provides plenty of extra credit opportunities in the form of grammar quizzes (called quizzes, but they're guaranteed 100s). So long as you are willing to reciprocate her efforts, your writing and critical reading skills will improve dramatically.
Dr. Bradley is a great professor if you are interested in drama, she makes the topics fun and easy to understand, but is very broad on her essay requirements. She very approachable and very funny!

Actually a very good choice for this part of english. Cares for her students and gives extensions if you ask. Be prepared to read a lot though since there is a quiz due before every day you meet with her. Other than that, go for this professor!
Dr Bradley is a very nice laid back lady, but she is the hardest essay grader known to mankind. Also if she makes you read Othello, actually read it. As well as the short stories, it will help a lot on the tests and final.
she grades incredibly hard. i took this as an online summer course and was drowning. she posted the assignments an hour before they were due and gave unclear instructions. extra credit is available but essays are graded very very throughly and tough.
Be prepared to waste your time going to class. Most of the time in class, she discusses short stories, and not content related to major things we are being graded on. Prepare to have your writing ripped apart as well. I am accustomed to receiving A's on essays, however I never made an A on a single graded assignment in this class. GOOD LUCK.
Do yourself a favor, and DO NOT take her as your professor by all means! Professor Bradley has been the worst teacher I have ever experienced and one of the lousiest I've seen. She grades essays as if they're going to as if they're going to be published in the New York Times and doesn't provide any necessary knowledge during her lectures.

If you are a first-time student and new to college or just coming back to college DO NOT take this class. It was unprepared, extremely hard and she was not available during the semester. We would try to get ahold of her on numerous occasions and she was unavailable. She had too many classes under her to pay attention to us online.
Mrs Bradley is a very nice woman. She's very passionate about what she teaches. I will say her essays are difficult but she has office hours where you can visit her for extra help. Pay attention in class and read what she assigns and you will do good. :)
Probably the worst professor I've took. I struggled from beginning to end the whole semester, she grades very heavily on essays and completely roasts your essays. I had perfect attendance and I still struggled, it's ridiculous how difficult she makes the class. Quiz due before every class, she also says "right" after every sentence, literally!
Bradley is the reason I want to drop out. I've been in school for 3 weeks.. She laughs at you and treats you like you're dumb when you ask questions. She's just all around disrespectful. My classmates are scared to ask questions because of how she responds to mine.

Just do the assignments on time and go to the writing center for essays. She's a tough grader, but just get that extra help from writing center and you'll pass with an A. Do the xtra cred quizzes. Final was easy. Very straightfoward class.
I absolutely loved Dr. Bradley! Though she is a tough grader, she is understanding and willing to help! If you attend class & follow her notes, you will make guaranteed B's on all her essays!(which is good in her system) There are 3 essays and abt 10 assignments (10 more assignments for extra credit) Def recommend her!! (Ended with a 89.94 🥲)
I took this class over the winter minimester and was baffled by how hard it was to reach my professor. I had emails from week one that were still unanswered by the end of the course. On top of that, she is an incredibly tough grader. No matter how good your essay is, she will always manage to find something she doesn't like.
I am a senior at Texas A&M taking ENGL 2322 to help lessen my classes in my last semester. This is hands down the hardest English course I've taken. Little to no guidance-extremely tough grader ex. 3 points off a paper for an unnecessary comma in a paper. Not a real professor who cares, just wants a paycheck. Has Turnitin do grading for her.
This has to be one of the worst English 1 classes you can take. She is a very tough grader and does not give clear instructions. She does not teach you right and expects you to know what she wants. I dropped the class and took a different teacher who was way more understanding and got an A+. Do not take her unless you want to retake ENGL 1!!!
I am currently in this online class, we are on WEEK 14, she has not put in a single grade since WEEK 3!! On top of her being an insanely hard grader, I don't know whether or not I will graduate on time because she hasn't put in grades for NINE WEEKS!! How does she still have this job??? Probably going to drop & graduate late-thanks prof Bradley!
Honestly not sure how she's rated so low. I had her for a 16 week, in person course. Attendance wasn't mandatory but I always looked forward to her class. She grades a little bit hard on essays, but not terrible. She's honestly the nicest and most caring Professor I've had in awhile, I will definitely be taking her again, highly recommend.

DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS!! Professor Bradley is one of the most condescending people I have ever met. She automatically assumes that everyone cares about english as much as her and makes you feel less for asking questions. Not to mention her lectures are incredibly boring and lack valuable information. She also grades unnecessarily hard.
