Good teacher and really pretty

rochelle is the best teacher i've ever had, i didn't do that well in the class, but she made it fun.

Rochelle made this class so fun! She would go over the homework in class and help you out if you had any problems. She was always there to help you in her office as well. A really fun class. I recommend her to anyone.

Very down to earth, easy to talk to, funny teacher. The class was really easy if you pay attention during lectures. The book isnt really much help. Its only there for homework problems. Rochelle is very good at writing letters of recommendation too.

Fairly easy class. She gave good notes, nothing too tricky on tests, group assignments were kind of annoying, etc. From what I've heard, she is one of the better math teachers at the school.

The best teacher ive had at GRCC. she is so much fun and will help you through almost ALL the homework.

She is so cool!!! She gives out a project which is not fun, but totally worth it since she is fun. Tons of energy, made the classroom feel alive.

She's one of the best teachers I've had in a while. She's extremely easy to talk to if you have questions. Class is also interesting with all of her great jokes and funny personality. On top of everything else, she explains things in an understandible manner. If you have to take a math class, take it from her!!!!!

I took Integral Calculus w/ her on this fall (2011). She's very punctual. DON'T BE LATE submit your assignments or you'll get points off. ASK her during class/office hours, she WILL help you to understand the material CLEARLY. She got humor & YES, She's an awesome woman to teach this stuff. You're gonna love integrals and always miss this class :)

Rochelle is a fantastic instructor. She is by far my favorite math teachers and i will miss taking her class! She made me feel like i could ask her any question and she would answer it to the best of her abilities. She tries her best to give you as many points possible on a test, which was definitely one of the best parts about her class!

Rochelle is an excellent professor, she is willing to be flexible with the class if there is a concept people are having a hard time with. She uses wamap for homework which is actually extremely helpful. There are two projects that are kind of annoying, but actually relate back to what the class is learning and is an easy grade booster!

Rochelle was great and made learning math incredibly easy. It's really to your benefit to print out the blank lesson notes and fill them in during class. If you do that, make sure you always ask your questions and get the clarification you need, it's an incredibly easy class. I usually hate math and this quarter I was not able to honestly say that.

Rochelle has got to be one of the best math teachers I've ever had. She's always willing to go back and clarify something you're having trouble with. Passionate about math, funny, and generous. There's homework on wamap and from the book, quizzes, 3 tests, 1 group project, and a final. If you stay on top of things, it's an easy A!

She's a funny teacher. She would explain everything in details when you don't understand some parts, and would explain it again until you really understand it.

I loved taking Rochelle's class. She's a very good teacher, with a depth of knowledge on the subject and makes an effort to have a good rapport with the class. Warning: you will be doing quite a bit of group work considering it's a math class, but I still highly recommend it.

She is a very good teacher. She explains everything clearly and answer every question from students. You can pop up whenever she is in her office to ask questions about homework, test, and even assignment. She expect perfection from students and if you are not accurate on your answer, she will deduct fairly amount of points from your grade.

Rochelle is a great teacher! She does her best to make the lectures fun, but also easy to understand. Make sure you join a good group for labs because your grade is fairly based on how well you do on these.

Great teacher--lots of energy and funny. Explains things well. Available out of class to help students understand material. Material is difficult, therefore tests are hard. Review day before tests. Some group work. Not much homework but can take a while. Swears occasionally in class.

She is literally by far the best math instructor I've ever taken in the college. Her material is super organized, her teaching is crystal clear, she is genuinely helpful to students, and she is entertaining as well. The level of difficulty is not difficult either, not very easy either though. She is seriously the perfect teacher!

This class was tough. If you're good at math you'll do just fine, if you're not so good at math, you'll need to put in the extra work to study your tail off. Rochelle is always available to help if you're falling behind and I recommend you go see her for extra help if you're falling behind even a little.

Possibly the best professor I've had. She was so kind and understanding when it came to issues you were having. She was always available for questions and was very personable. I was upset that she wasn't teaching the next course in the sequence I was taking in the summer.

She's super caring and makes lectures fun. Calc is a hard class so don't expect to just rely on the teacher to understand everything. Make use of outside resources lol. She has a lot of hw and quizzes but it honestly helps you understand the material more.

She is clear about what she wants you too learn. There are two projects to be done. Overall it was fun to be in her class. She obviously showed excitement for what she was teaching and was always ready to help if you had qestions. The tests are based off of homework and in class activities so there are no real surprises.

OMG one of the BEST teachers for Calculus! There is plenty of opportunities to get your grade up if you are determined and persistent. The 3 tests and 1 final are not hard as long as you review HW and ask qestions on test qestion day. Do good on quizzes tho they can comeback to haunt you. TAKE HER CLASS almost positive you won't be disappointed.

The best professor at GRC Hands Down!! Super funny and nice and is always willing to help and take questions. Occasionally swears, but makes learning math super fun. I look forward to this class everyday!

This was my first quarter at greenriver and she was amazing. Her lessons were clear and she made them fun and never boring! There is a lot of homework and should be done. Over all, I would totally take her class again.

Rochelle is one of the best math teachers I have ever had. Her teaching style made the material easy to learn and is always available for extra help during her office hours. She offers extra credit on every test and answers homework questions the day before it is due to give students a better understanding of it. I would recommend her to anyone.

My favorite math teacher ! She explained things so well! Just a few tips, do the homework at least a night before its due and ask questions ! pick a hard working partner for the project (it's a tough project), and take all the extra credit opportunities ! She's such a great person and really cares!

At first I was very overwhelmed by this class, but Rochelle's classroom environment makes it super easy to ask questions and stay engaged. She is very helpful and accessible outside of class as well, and provides study resources for tests. The only thing I disliked was the lab she assigned, which in my opinion was unhelpful and unnecessary.

Rochelle is definitley one of the best professors Ive had at Green River. Through this class, I actually learned to enjoy math again. You do have a decent amount of homework and the labs kinda suck, but all of it has a purpose. If you have the chance to take her, DO IT! Plus she has a great personality.

She's really nice, best math instructor I have ever met and I wish she can be my Math153 instructor. But make sure you do the lab very carefully and ask for her opinion about the answers of the lab questions, labs are not easy to get a high percentage. Ask everything you don't know and don't be shy, she's more than welcome to help you.

Took 141 and 142 with Rochelle and absolutely loved her! precalc 2 is a hard class but she is an amazing teacher, wants you to succeed, answeres any questions, goes over homework problems, and overall is just awesome! There will be a lot of work, it may not be easy, but hey, you got this! Take her class!

She's the best math teacher I've ever had, she makes sure that all of her students understand concepts before she moves on, and updates everyone on her office hours when they change. She's overall just really great, 10/10 would take again.

I reccomend to anyone who struggles in math to take the math 97 module with rochelle. She is very caring and wants you to succeed. The workload is very mild and is self led with a program that allows you to begin where you are able and move up. Great for support and prep for exam/class. Rochelle is very helpful with any questions you have

Ms. Mitchell is a terrific professor. She makes the subject relatively easy to understand, and is very helpful with questions. She motivates her students and makes everyone feel comfortable in the class while still pushing students to do their best.

Umm, She's great. But for those of you who don't like quiz, there's a quiz every week :) for whole quarter (9-10 quiz, with 3 test). She cares about student opinion, the way she teaches is easy to understand, feel free to ask any question. She will drop the lowest grade on hw and quiz. Good luck :) !

This teacher was amazing! she cares about her success. If you do the Homework and study for the test, youll pass. She is very well organized, it is easy to get in contact with her by email, her explanations are very easy to follow. I would definitely take her class again. All the tests were easy and were based on learned lessons.

Math really stresses me out and Rochelle made this so easy! Always available to answer questions and give different ways/ideas of solving problems to find one that worked for me. I actually learned so much in this class and enjoyed her caring and compassionate and often funny personality. Recommended!

This was a completely online course but Rochelle was very accessible and helpful whenever it was needed. She lays out a clear schedule and is more than fair in her grading. She was a great professor to jump back into school and math after an 18 year break.

She is a fantastic teacher. At first I was very worried because there are quizzes every single week and tests once a month, but this created a very easy to follow class structure. She cares about the material, and you will learn a LOT by attending class. Don't skip lectures. She is very VERY nice and funny and we all became friends.

omg seriously nicest teacher ive ever had. this class was easy for me because i already knew the material from high school. i love when she puts :) at the end of her emails. we did hawks and it was a really easy going class especially if you like making your own schedule. just do the homework when its due and its easy.

Rochelle was a great teacher to have for online math. She was helpful and responsive any time I had a question or problem. Her grading criteria is very fair and she will accept late work.

I'm a half-time student and took AP 103, which gets progressively harder as it goes along. Rochelle allows students to complete assignments early, so I front-loaded my math work. I got good grades in both classes thanks to her policies! She communicates well and is helpful toward her students. She wants you to pass. Highly recommend.

One of the best professors I've had at GRC. She's amazing, funny, and super caring of her students. I loved her teaching style and how she questioned the class once in a while to make sure we understand the topic. She asks what we need help on, and she helps. Although there was a textbook, no textbook reading was really needed. Take her.

mostly everything is on WAMAP. she only allows 3 late passes. participation in weekly discussions. need to upload paperwork after each quiz or test within 5 minutes or points deducted. I did very bad in this class because i thought the tests were on sunday like they said on canvas.. nope, due on saturday. check wamap often, not canvas.

Rochelle is awesome! She worked with me so I could finish 3 Math courses (70, 72, 97) in one quarter. She answers emails within 24-48 hours except on weekends. She will really work with you so that you truly understand the concept, not just till you can perform it. I cannot recommend her enough!

Honestly just show up to class, pay attention, take notes, do your homework, study, etc, the basics of any class and you should be able to pass, nothing too hard and she's a great, helpful professor.

She was an amazing professor, the work was all on WAMAP consisting of questions you answer on the forum, there are weekly discussions, she was funny, caring, and helpful, loved her class and it was pretty easy to understand.

Rochelle is fantastic. She teaches the material well and is very generous with her partial credit. It is not an easy class, but she made it much easier and more fun. Homework, quizzes, and tests all match what we have learned in class. Participation is not required, and all zoom lectures are recorded, but you will do much better if you do attend.

She is good professor I hope to take class with her again. She want from you just come to do quizzes in class

I am very glad I had Prof. Mitchell for my Math141 class. Her workload is easy and manageable, averaging about three assignments per week. They are all posted in WAMAP which I grew to really love. I recommend Prof. Mitchell if you struggle with math as she usually answers questions about assignments.

I took Prof Mitchell for my first quarter of community college. I was not good at math, and she helped me gain confidence in my math abilities. The class setup was excellent, and there was a total of 3 tests and one final. About 1-3 HW assignments in a week. All in all, great class great professor. I would retake her 100%.

She grades tests generously and has 1 extra credit question that is not too difficult. She listens to feedback and has a cool personality. Her wamap homework has 2 chances to try each problem and unlimited times to "change to a similar problem".

She was pretty lenient and gave pretty good lectures, which she also recorded on Zoom. All the homework is done through WAMAP and you'll have three tests and a final exam. Rochelle was funny, gave great feedback, and made calculus fun to learn! If you study hard enough, I think anyone could get an A in her class.

Rochelle is funny and laid back. Only thing is she gives out a notes packet to fill alongside the lectures as notes and things can get very disorganized quickly, having to jump back and forth from your stretch paper notes for warmups and homework to the notes. She's an amazing teacher and is willing to go through problems so students understand!

Rochelle is a wonderful professor. For Math 152, you'll have 3 tests, a final exam, and a quiz every other week. Homework is completed on WAMAP and it's manageable (you get 3 late passes). She's hilarious in class, makes learning fun/engaging, and is understanding of her students. I wish I had her for more classes! Definitely take her if you can.

Ms. Mitchell genuinely cares about her students and wants us to do well in class and in life. The topic was tough for me, but I enjoyed going to class. She engages with us and has a good sense of humor. She assigns a fair amount of work, it's not bad at all. I like that she is realistic with us about everything, not sugarcoating but still nice.

She is amazing! I got a 4.0 in her class and I learned a lot. Her classes are attracting!

Rochelle is probably the best teacher I have had. She really cares about all of her students and even went to the funeral on one of our classmates. She will work with you outside of class and is really easy to access. I think her tests are very fair and are weighted pretty fairly. Overall, don't take anyone else, she's the best there is.

I LOVE Rochelle. I have taken several math classes with different math teachers, and I always come crawling back to Rochelle. She wants you to pass and she believes in everyone, so she will work with you, show you easier ways to go about equations, etc. The tests are hard and there is no retakes. She makes everything else easy.

Great Professor. I took this class last year and have fond memories of this professor and her teaching style. I just wanted to add to the pile of 5/5 because she deserves them.

She uses Hawks Learning and I love it. It goes over each chapter and you can take practice quizzes before a test. No notes or Ai for test online. If you do well on the practice test you will do fine on the test. She is available if you need help. You will have to meet up with her online and go over your quiz 1 or 2 times. So don't cheat.

Ms. Mitchell is the most chill teacher. Shes very nice and understanding, gives extra credit on work and communicates well with you. The only thing you can get caught up in is that late assignments have a slight deduction the longer you take to complete it. But overall is an easy-going class as long as you keep up.

Ms. Rochelle was an amazing teacher! You can always ask for help on questions and visit her office hours. Class is very simple show up and do the work, ask questions, and always practice! She does use profanity quite often so if you don't like it, watch out for it.
