TERRIBLE!! He makes the course much harder than it should be. I just dropped it today in fact after failing the midterm that I studied 2 weeks for!
This chubby guy is waay too hard and is very monotonous and boring and makes this interesting class boring and difficult. i failed it and took it again and got an A.

This was the absolute worst teacher I have ever had, DROP! His reading assignments are ridiculously long and hard. He is so boring, he just walks in and starts rambling on and on, while looking at the ceiling the whole time. I was miserable!!
His class is hard but he gives so much xtra credit. I got an A.

if you get him turn around and walk out of the class now. he is just ridiculously hard and monotonous. it is impossible to pay attention or keep up with readings.
Very difficult to stay up to date with all the readings, but he will give lots of extra credit if you keep asking.
this guy is a horrible teacher, just because he wrote a book doesnt mean he should be a teacher. i failed the class and then took it again and made an A, save yourself from his doom!
This was the worst teacher I have ever had in my entire life. Drop, drop, drop. It is not worth the torture. It was so boring, he gave ridiculous assignments. The only C I have ever made in my entire life. I've made all a's at auburn and a c in this class

Absolutely hated him!! And he never gives you extra credit, maybe it's just one assignment or something like that. RUN FOR YOUR LIFE if you get his class. I haven't learned a thing about ethics, besides teh stuff I already knew. He's also UNFAIR about the
Yeah, Prof. Long is kind of chunky, and he's a hard grader. He's also an extremely entertaining lecturer, and a guy who puts a huge amount of time and thought into preparing his courses. Reading the comments here, I'm embarassed to be a student at Auburn.
Great Guy
Please do not listen to any of the GOOD comments on this board. Because they are absolutely not true. As a matter of fact, I think he's the one posting them. So, please don't listen to him, and drop your class, before it's too late.....
If I was a philosophy major I would take Dr. Long for every class. I had him for ethics and feel that he made the course much harder than it should have been for an introductory level class. Do the reading and go to class and you'll do alright.
He gives a ridiculous amount of reading to do that appears on tests, but not in class lectures. He talks nonstop, but says very little. Get out while you still can. Don't give it some time, because it will never get better.
He is rather large. The class sucks. Way too much reading for a pointless class. Grades way too strictly over material much too broad. If you take Human Odyssey, don't get Long, you will regret it all semester. He wears the same pants every day as well.
This class sucks! You have a lot of readings but they aren't that bad..the thing that makes this class suck is there is NO organization you do all the reading and they ask you the most RANDOM questions on quizzes. Take something else. You will HATE this class. I PROMISE
terrable
h is the most boring teacher. i had him for a TR class and is was so miserable! everyone fails the pop quizzes but go to all of the extra credit lectures and you will pull an A or B. i got 50 on most of the quizzes but did decently on the tests and got an A, mainly because of the extra credit.
Worst professor I have ever had. I don't understand any of those good comments either. I have a 3.8 gpa and struggled the entire semester. Ridiculous amounts of reading. Way to much for an intro class. Under no circumstances would I ever reccommend this guy. Terrible horrible miserable...
How about all of you below learning to spell terrible before offering advice?
If you take him, good luck. Half of our class left within the first 10 minutes and never came back. I recommend the same.
This guy is too difficult. He expected way too much out of us. He does NOT scale the class. After our midterm(the only test besides the final), the class average was a 60. If you ask him a question, he'll babble on trying to make himself look smarter. STAY AWAY FROM THIS TEACHER! Drop him!!
This man has a deeper understanding of things than other professors and thinkers, and he seems to be driven by a benevolent attitude.
Why in the name of all that is good and Auburn is this professor still teaching? He treats his Intro to Ethics class, a 1000 level class, like a philosophy course for upper-classmen. THere was nothing take home, the only good thing was all the extra credit, which i regretfully didnt take advantage of. EXTRA CREDIT WILL BE YOUR ONLY HOPE. DROP!!!
So for everyone who says he is not that bad... are you CRAZY? I made all A's and a D in his class. Yea.. so he gives extra credit.. but if you have to work and can't make it to but a few you still fail! I thought it wouldn't be that bad but man I was in for a treat.. OF HELL
This class was so hard!! do not take it! he does give extra credit but its always on friday afternoon/night and i could never go b/c of work. the only good thing about him was that he lets you turn assignments in late with no penatly. but serisously this was the hardest class i have ever taken, get out or die!
He's the most ridiculous teacher ever. Do NOT take him! He is not helpful at all if you ask him for any, and his tests are out of control. If you have no interest in ethics and are just taking it because of core, wait for another professor and don't waste your GPA or GAP on him!!

HORRIBLE!
Only take this class if you Absolutely Cannot drop it! And if you do, do every singe extra credit thing you can....you'll regret it at the end of the semester if you don't! Also, you can turn stuff in as late as you want but don't let it get you behind! Go to every class and take notes- they may not help much but it's better than the readings!
Worst professor I've ever had. Strongly discourage taking him. He just sits at the front of the room looking at the ground lecturing. He dosen't acknowledge you or pay attention to your emails and is very unhelpful. I would definately stay away from taking him.
Although he is quite intelligent, humorous at times, and very nice, o would not recommend him for an intro class. THere is alot of reading, and if you are a slow reader like me it is way too much. Plus if you work or are involved on campus, you will be unable to go to his extra credit sessions which are the only hope of survival.
Had him for intro to Ethics. Requires a lot of reading. If you have a paper or anything else to work on don't count on finishing your reading. Slow to respond to emails. Wound up having a paper due on the day of the final. Time taken away from other classes because of this one. If you are busy around campus or have a busy schedule, do not take.
I struggled the whole semester to keep up in the class. I had to write a paper the night before the final for this class. Unless you are unemployed and taking only this class you should avoid it at all costs. Too much work, reading, and stress just to make a D....or fail like I did.
Worst teacher ever! the class is boring, hes boring, he is disgusting and he teaches the intro to ethics class like he expects us to all be philosophy majors. we had 6 books, and you read almost every page plus a ridiculous amount of handouts. I made a B but only bc of the extra credit. Get out while you still can.
you can't pass his intro to ethics class unless you do nothing else but take his class. if your in the greek system, have a job, or want to be able to go out during the week do NOT take this guy.
This guy is HARD. He requires a LOT of reading, so if you are a full time student or with a job, it will be difficult. He doesn't do a very good job explaining the material. He does give you extra credit opportunities, but with other school work and his readings, time is limited doing them. If possible AVOID THIS GUY!
He is smart, but the worst teacher I've ever had. I have a 4.0 and 100+semester hours, but got a B. Way too demanding for an Intro class. Tons of reading everyday, lecture based on student questions that are irrelevant. There is NO discussion. You must do the reading to get a decent grade. A's are hard, but there are extra credit opportunities.
Simply awful class, worst and hardest I've taken at Auburn. The first D I've ever made in my learning career and I couldn't have been happier to get it. A ton of reading and weekly quizzes make it hard to focus on other classes If at all possible take anyone other than Long, he's in his own little world during class, just babbles for 50 minute bad!
He is by far the worst teacher I have ever had. He is too smart for his own good and teaches his intro class like the students are all philosophy majors. His midterm and final are both impossible and there is daily reading you must do because there is 1 or 2 quizes a week on them. Avoid this man, if you dont believe me,look at the rest of his ratin
Don't take this guy if you value your GPA!! For an intro class this guy is way too demanding and his lectures are almost unbearable. I'm dropping while I can still get a W.
Worst teacher of all time!!! never take him
All well said.
He seems to have no interest in whether you learn the material. Thus, he will overwork you with readings, weekly quizzes and impassable tests, hoping some of the material will stick. As others have said, he does babble the whole time, and treats the class like you are a PHIL major. Only take this if you cannot afford to drop it.
Absolute worst professor i have ever had at auburn. I cant believe this guy is still teaching. Class consists of only him talking for an hour, yet there is a participation grade. Does not grade on a curve, and from what i could tell, about half of the class got a D or below. Avoid at all costs!
This professor teaches an absolute nightmare of an intro philosophy class. From what i could tell most of the class made a C or below so i consider myself lucky. He states that the purpose of education is to make you suffer... I'm just trying to warn you that he successfully accomplishes that goal with little room to spare.
Awful, awful teacher. LOTS of outside reading (30-40 pages a night), and he talks really fast. But even if he talked slower, you still wouldn't be able to understand what he's trying to say. Doesn't grade on a curve, and tests are extremely difficult. Avoid him at all costs.
Terrible. Worst teacher I've had at Auburn. Ridiculous amounts of incomprehensible reading. I've never gotten below an A in a class before, ever.
He's absolutely useless. He doesn't teach the material he grades on. You have to read and understand everything on your own time - and it's like 15 pages of tough material a night if you space it out. My advice: DO THE EXTRA CREDIT. He a lot of opportunities for it, and it's pretty much the only way to get by with a nice grade.
To succeed in this class you HAVE to read all the material and you have to study and participate. The good part is that he gives many opportunities to earn extra credit. He is serious but very helpful if you ask him things. He doesn't mind helping you understand the material. He is also pretty funny and classes weren't bad to sit through.
Terrible teacher. My class started with 30+ people and is now down to FOUR people. I can't drop because of student loans, so now my GPA will suffer. Doesn't teach, just babbles for an hour, when help is needed he will just tell you to get a tutor. The worst teacher I have ever had. Do not take him! Avoid at all cost!
A terribly difficult class unless you are gifted at philosophy, I don't recommend it if you are taking it to get your humanities course out of the way. You do a lot of work, and even if you do it all you won't get the grades you want to show for it.
WORST PROFESSOR OF ALL TIME. Reading/writing intensive doesn't come close to describing this course. He never once answered any email that I sent, and in class, really doesn't seem interested in his students at all. He is never prepared and always comes to class late. Your "assignments" will seem pointless, bc he never addresses your questions.
I can tell he is very intelligent; however, I feel that he doesn't need to be a teacher. Maybe a guest lecturer. Hugely unhelpful. Can't connect to students. Unclear in lectures. Unhelpful assignments. Didn't know my grade until last day.
If you see that he will be your professor, RUN! He is very boring in class and rambles on and on about the same thing. He does not interact with the class at all. He basically talks to the wall. He takes attendance everyday and there is a lot of reading outside of class that is nearly impossible to complete. Find another professor.
Brilliant man.
Dr. Long is very intelligent; however, he is a pretty terrible professor. Assigns an absurd amount of reading every week (probably AT LEAST 50-60 pages) of intensehard to absorb material. Class is science fiction based and there is at least one quiz very specific to the readings every week. Hard grader, rarely answers emails. Avoid if possible.
Be smart and do not take this guy. Taking him for a mini-mester this Summer and it is awful. Very difficult concepts to consistently follow and he doesn't ever really stop talking or try and help summarize concepts so we can actually understand... literally one of the worst classes I've taken at Auburn, and I'm a senior. DO NOT TAKE
Easily the worst class I have ever taken at Auburn. The lectures are him talking to an uninterested class, there is no opportunity for class participation. The assignments are ungodly difficult and are over concepts talked about ONCE. The remainder of the class is filler consisting of watching science fiction TV episodes in class and weekly quizzes
Hands down the worst professor I ever had at Auburn. The class was unbearable. I would highly recommend to not take his class.
We had to buy 8 books and there were tons of reading online - overall BE PREPARED TO READ. There were weekly quizzes, which were easy for the most part. And then there are PLENTY CHANCES FOR EXTRA CREDIT - lectures, homework, tests, the final.. About 3 papers, but had to were about 6 pages long. Moderately easy, but it's possible to fail
Incredibly boring, nonsensical, and often refutes himself. It's basically an hour of him reporting what a philosopher may or may not have said and then writing a few words on the whiteboard over the course of class. Not the worst teacher I've ever had, but he's pretty close.
Just stands at the front of the class and talks at us for 50 minutes. Goes off on long tangents, fumbles his wording so he's hard to understand, and is next to impossible to pay attention to. Probably the worst teacher I've had at Auburn. Boring, unhelpful, pompous, tough grader, 50 minute lectures only, tons of reading. Good luck
Uses poor examples and expects you to be as knowledgeable on the class as him. Does nothing but lecture, requires a few different books, and is actually talking about Swamp Man and centaurs in class right now. Not sure how many screws this guy has loose but, for your own sake, do not take this professor.
Lectures for 50 minutes without introducing topics, and most lecture material is not even related to the reading. Gives weekly quizzes and grades harshly but is unclear of his expectations/requirements. I can tell he is extremely intelligent and knowledgeable, but he should not be teaching. DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR LITERALLY TAKE ANYTHING ELSE.
Dr. Long was a challenge to take, putting things lightly. Every day, I would bemoan going to this nutcase's class, because all he would do was talk to himself for 45 minutes at a time. The one time he did ask the class a question (yes, I mean ONE TIME), we were so taken aback that we didn't know how to answer or what the question even was. Avoid.
Firsr day of class he walks in, doesnt introduce himself, and just starts teaching like he is talking to himself like he does EVERY CLASS
Dr. Long is absurd. Teaches his views or views he favors in philosophy. Gave out exercise assignments I'm fairly certain most philosophers couldn't get an A on. Lectures are incredibly boring and just rambled. If you take his class, get ready to read every day. For a 1000 level course that should be about business ethics, its nothing of the sort.
Too smart to be teaching. Most lectures went over everyone's head for a 1000 level class.
No one can like this class, because if they liked it, they would do the reading, and if they did the reading, there is no way they would like this class. Very generous grader though. Try to divvy up the readings between friends and give summaries to each other if you want an A on the quizzes and tests.
I took Dr long twice and loved him. I paid attention in class, took notes and looked over the topics on the internet before the test, never read material except when I was particularly interested. Never got below 100% on a test and I'm no genius (he gives lot of extra credit on test). Don't take if you don't like philosophy, he doesn't pander
Assigns a lot of readings and then has quizzes on them the next day, but you'll get a good score even if you don't read. Do the weekly discussion posts. will boost your grade a lot. Do the extra credit work, no matter what! takes attendance every day. lectures are boring but doesn't care if you don't pay attention only if you sit at the back
Honestly, all of the reviews are very true. But I came out with a high A in his class. The only reason why is because he offers so much extra credit. There is an extra credit opportunity every Friday that gains you 20extra credit points. Also all the pop quizzes are extra credit, and posting more on the discussion board is too. An A is possible!
I took Professor long for Phil 1020 as a substitute credit for a class I could not get into. At first I was greatly concerned for this class but quickly realized if you do your homework and a little bit extra you will make a very good grade. I made a D on the first test, followed by a C on the next and 3 B's on the assigned papers. I made a 101.
Dr. Long has absolutely zero inkling of desire to interact with students and build a proper student-teacher relationship. He assigns work but fails to explain what hes looking for and gives you no expectation of what to do with papers, tests, homework, etc. He also has a wildly skewed view of philosophy and society, and wants you to think like him
Amazing professor. Everyone who rates him lowly simply wasn't able to tap into his brilliance. He is a fair, kind grader and gives good feedback. He has a viewpoint, but he is not biased toward it. I wrote papers all over the place in his class and received As on all of them. It's about the quality, interest, and truth in your ideas. Very funny too
He's super sweet but all he does is lecture without powerpoints or anything. He gives a lot of extra credit which is super helpful but he's really bad at explaining assignments to where the students can understand how to do them. Good first philosophy class but wouldn't take again.
I saw so many reviews to tell this professor is horrible. To be honest with all those students, I am an international student and my native language is NOT English! I still can achieve an "A" in this class, stop blaming and do the reading! Is that so challenging for an adult to study hard in college with a professor who helps you each time?
A lesson in the quiet tragedy of wasted time. Hours spent tuning out wandering ramblings of little relevance to living life. All concept, no reality. The epitome of modern education. He's also funny at times, can be thoughtful and kind, gives good feedback and plenty of opportunity to succeed in class. No hate, just wish he had more self-respect.
DO NOT TAKE THIS MAN UNLESS YOU LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT PHILOSOPHY. He is by far the hardest teacher I have ever taken and you have to write essays every week. I just finished this semester and I have written a total of 95 pages for this class. He is the toughest grader I have experienced. I highly recommend against this class. Just do not take it...
TONS of reading. Quite a bit of assignments, i.e. quizzes every week on top of papers due every few weeks. Grades pretty rough, but an absurd amount of extra credit. More extra credit possible than actual points in the class. Each quiz/test had more extra credit questions on them than actual credit questions. Easy to get an A.
If you're considering taking this class to get a philosophy credit DO NOT TAKE IT. Every class had over 2 hours of lectures to watch with many pages of readings. The actual class was just students asking questions about the reading and no guided discussion from Long on the material. This should not be considered an intro class to PHIL.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS. You are required to go to zoom "class" where he opens a padlet and forces you to ask questions, which no one ever does. And then he will give you 2 hours of lecture videos for every class day you have to watch outside of class. Then every Friday you take a quiz and you have to do5Exercises and5discussionpostsandtwo4pageessays
took 2 months to grade 1 essay. never know if I'm going to pass because I don't know my grades. no powerpoint. you have to write 3 essays for the final and know 50 terms/people. not easy to understand. quizzes are practically worth no points. extra credit is writing papers and they're only worth 10 points. sooooo much writing
TONS of reading and writing in his upper level courses. It is definitely doable to get an A, but it does require that you spend a lot of time reading and working through the arguments.
Expects you to devote a lot of time to his class, even though most people who take this class are only taking it bc they have to. Lectures and reading are long, but if you have the time definitely try to look at them. Gives out a ridiculous amount of bonus on every exam, quiz, and assignment. The final exam for me was all essay questions.
He makes you watch hours of prerecorded lectures only to come to class and ramble about nothing. Class feels pointless but he takes attendance so you have to go. It almost feels like an online class without the benefits. He gives an insane amount of extra credit because it would be impossible to pass otherwise. Definitely don't recommend.
Dr. Long is an extremely smart man who should only be teaching advanced students. I had to dedicate the majority of my study time to this class which is not related to my necessary classes. DO NOT TAKE IF SIMPLY LOOKING FOR A PREREQ. With that being said, funny, eccentric dude, but someone I would want to grab a beer with, not be my professor.
I have reached out to Dr. Long with questions about assignments and never heard back. Nobody would ever pass if it weren't for the (honestly ridiculous) amount of extra credit in his class. Thankfully, I took it online, and none of his quizzes required lockdown browsers, so Quizlet was my best friend.
Do not recommend this class but if it is your last option like it was mine, you will be okay. He makes u listen to lectures/read outside of class, so coming to class is pointless, but attendance is mandatory so u have to. Don't waste your time on the lectures/ readings, look up quiz answers, and make sure you go to class. He gives tons of extra cre
So. Much. Work. He's a nice guy though. Quizzes are open note & there is so much extra credit. But once again, So. Much. Work.
He is inaccessible, often cancels office hours, and is unhelpful. If you have to take PHIL1040 I would take someone else
DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR! I have genuinely never despised a professor more in my life. He does not respond to emails, his assignments do not make any sense, and he assigns way too many lectures to watch over the course material. On top of all else, you will quite literally learn NOTHING about business ethics. Useless class -5/10.
Professor Long is very knowledgable and the content is interesting. However, the flipped classroom style does not work for him. The work outside of class (watching lectures and completing the readings) far exceeded the time that was actually being spent in class. He does take attendance and you are given 3 "freebies". He takes a long time to grade.
Nice guy & obviously very smart but this class was absolutely ridiculous for a 1000 level/required course that no one actually has any interest in. I took it online & the amount of lectures & reading went far beyond the 50min/3x per week guideline. Hardly ever put in grades either. Do not recommend at ALL.
Professor Long is a nice guy but a terrible teacher. Requiring seven textbooks for a semester-long class is a crazy waste of time and money. Be ready to teach yourself, watch 3 hours of lectures, and read 150 pages a week. Takes forever to grade, email back, and missed a third of the classes. Extra credit is your only hope, luckily there's a ton.
Bad. Just bad. Grades are arbitrary. If you guess "the truth" wrong so are you. Did you know it was possible for everyone to be an anarchist? Neither did I! Over 3,000 lecture slides and the word business is in there twice. A sorry, sorry professor. Lectures are as lost and confused as Biden.
Most unprofessional teacher I have ever had. Most of the stuff is online and has extra credit. Does not respond to emails. Talks about nothing useful in class. Cancels class all the time last minute and expects you to read 3 hours worth of stuff every day. Do Not Take.
His class material isn't very hard. Most things are just common sense. The work load isn't bad at all compared to all my other classes (engineering major.) He gives lots of extra credit, and kinda mumbles through most lectures. 90% of our assignments are open notes/book/internet.
Review from 4 wks in class. He's cancelled 4 days, including the 1st day, and all last week. He assigned 80 pages of reading w/ 2 50 minute lectures for a single day's work. The lectures aren't even for this class, all pre-recorded, and you get nothing but attendance from going to class. Please please please take another teacher.
Not a very good teacher. Assigns hours of lectures, reading, and homework for a 50 minute class where he rarely talks about what the homework is on. 7 textbooks for a semester long class. Way too difficult for someone who's not an actual philosophy major. Don't take.
This professor assigns so many readings that are like 50-60 pages long and are due every other day. He also assigns 2 60 minute lectures that we have to watch and that are also due every other day. It is as if he doesn't realize we have other classes to take care of. The good thing though is that he assigns a lot of extra credit. Good luck.
Just not a good teacher. Had like 9 books assigned for a semester long class. Would require up to 100 pages of reading HW and videos for a 50 minute class where he didn't talk about all of it. Had to know over 113 topics for the final exam.
You know that line "If I could give it a 0, I would"? This 100% applies to this class. I looked at RMP prior to taking him, thinking how bad it could be. IT IS THAT BAD. DO NOT TAKE HIM; save yourself. He assigns hours upon hours of reading. There is so much work and I could honestly write an essay about everything.. just don't take this class.
this professor makes me hate school. He gives so much homework but then doesn't even talk about it in the lectures. He just mumbles through them. He assigns 100 pages of reading for homework and multiple 60 minute videos to watch. I should have known not to take the class after reading the reviews but it was the only class available at the time.
Literally expected us to do ~2 hours worth of homework every night, and in class wouldn't even talk about it and often just rant about random things with little descriptive words and so I literally had no idea what he was talking about 95% of the time. The only reason I went to class was for the attendance grade
dont bother wasting your money/time on the readings.not required, just chatgpt the quizzes and midterm. And for the in class writing he tells you what its on. Also make sure you do all the extra credit and assignments on time. I did everything and didn't even have to take the final to keep an A. lectures are so useless but required, would say easyA.
Honestly not as horrible as the other reviews claim. There is a ton of homework and readings but you dont really have to do them at all. He does ramble in class and you need to go for the attendance grade but you can just do other homework during it or something. As long as you do the extra credit you dont even have to take the final.
GET OUT of his class. Professor Long was one of the worst professors that I have ever had. He was unorganized and had unrealistic expectations of his students for an intro level class. He does offer lots of extra credit, but he expects you to do over 3 hours worth of homework for him before each class. Also doesn't follow syllabus.
Lectures can be hit-or-miss, but the workload is manageable. Lots of extra credit opportunities. I found unstuck ai and the textbook helpful for study prep.
People are absolutely flaming Dr. Long for nothing. I'm not a philosophy major, and had to take this class, so I was just looking for an easy A. Enter 17 question quizzes where 14 of the questions are bonus. 14. The only effort I had to put into the class was scrolling to the bottom of canvas to see if I had to take the final.
Don't do this, too much reading for any man to do, just have some AI summarize the readings for you. Easy A class, but you get nothing out of it. He is a funny teacher, problem is he expects too much out of you for an introductory level class. Has an unorthodox grading scale, is possible (and quite easy) to get an A and skip the final.
Terrible class communication. Doesnt go over expectations and holds intro students to too high of a standard. Gives so much work each night to the point where no one does it. Final is closed note and worth 20% of your grade. Gives lots of extra credit opportunities so its manageable but miserable. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. YOU WILL REGRET IT.
The class is very difficult with lots of readings, however there is a lot of extra credit so getting an A is pretty easy. The final is all written closed notes, but if you have a high enough grade you can get away with not taking it. lots of quizzes, discussion boards, and assignments but they are all open notes.
You will have to watch 4-5 video lectures he's created in the past (all abt 20 minutes) and read a LOT of textbook pages before his class. You are also required to submit a question before every class for homework, and he spends the entirety of answering the questions (incoherently). He's set it up, so he'll never do any actual teaching.
For someone who gets winded from taking attendance- be prepared for him to pace back and forth the front of the classroom for an hour coughing and wheezing all while not making out a single coherent word. Assigns 3+ hours of assignments per night no one does.
He is extremely unorganized and forgot to give my class enough assignments to earn the points required to pass the class. He mumbles when he lectures, which is very frustrating. He outlined in the syllabus that class discussion is necessary but he never asks questions or fosters any conversation in class, instead he lectures without interruption.
Before taking this class, ask yourself one question. Do I want to learn anything? If the answer is no, then this class is perfect for you! He gives a bunch of assignments that the extra credit on them is worth more than the assignment itself. He just wants people to listen to him yap. Easiest A of your college life if you just do the assignments.
genuinely unreal. has to be a social experiment
fing inspirational how is this man real
Worst teacher ever. This guy is literally the scum of the earth. I read the reviews before the class and didn't think it would be that bad, but let me tell you. It was even worse than I could have imagined. Stay away from Roderick Long!
