Professor Roger E. Lang's class was easily the best class I have ever taken, he is very kind to his student only wanted them to pass his class with A. He gives extra credit out like candy. He makes his lectures very interesting by actually comparing it to real HELPING YOU understand everything completely, not to mention his awesome life hacks.

Consider his class a freebie! Professor Lang is very laid-back and doesn't require much participation during lecture. He connects a lot of the the material to real world subjects, which is entertaining in its own right when it comes to sharing his own personal stories. Just come to class and do the work, and you're golden.

Prof.R Lang holds the best lectures ever, and truly makes PS/Intro AmGvmt interesting and entertaining to a degree, that nobody can even get tired of "Politics".Lectures are a must to attend, you get most benefit and understanding of subject, since Dr. Lang gives great examples of material covered, and how it relates to real life!ExtraCredit;)

I recommend Professor Lang he is the best. I am not a fan of Political Science but his lectures are interesting. He offers plenty of extra credit. He know his subject very well and explains everything very clearly. You will love his lectures.

Basically if you do your work you will pass, but if you wont you fail. To me this class was my easiest class I took in college so far. Proffesor Lang is overall a great teacher.

This class was pretty easy, the most challenging thing would be the essays, but those aren't so bad. He offers to read your essays if you email it to him a week before its due. You can tell he actually cares about his students and he gives valuable life tips. Lots of extra credit is offered as well, so take advantage of it!

For a class that has to cover controversial political topics, he sure knows how to spin it in a humorous way that puts everyone at ease! Also, he may periodically slip in hidden extra credit opportunities if you arrive to class early and/or don't leave early. Very forgiving grader and allows the tests to be open-note. Not easy to fail with him!

This class was face to face until covid 19 but he was really chill and as long as you did the work and come to class you will be fine. He has so many extra credits I lost track. You will enjoy him immensely.

This professor is great. This is an online anytime class so we had meetings at 9:30am every Monday and Wednesday, which were very informational and open to discussion. This professor cares a lot about his students and loves to help us learn, which we did a lot of. Just do your assignments and the papers (they are usually only 400-800 words).

This class was very interesting and the professor is amazing!!! The book is required, there are discussions every week, about 5 essays but as long as you are on topic you will get full credit for the assignments. I am not into politics but he made it very easy to understand. Attend lectures since attendance is mandatory.

Professor Roger is funny and does a great job in providing examples to engage the class in discussion. The assignments were due on a regular basis and much if it was already available since the beginning of class. There wasnt any difficulty in remembering when to turn them in.

I loved this class. While it is not mandatory to attend class and you do not get graded on attendance, I would not miss a day. He provides many extra credit opportunities and tips and tricks for upcoming tests and papers, its essential to be present and take advantage of those opportunities. The only thing that was disheartening was books, pricey!

This class was super easy. I took the fast-track class and it didn't even really feel like that much work. There was a lot of material to read and watch per week but the only work due was a couple discussion boards. Overall, it was a very easy class to pass and good for credit.

Realistically, If you've taken a Political Science course in the past, this course is a piece of cake. Professor Cohen wants you to succeed and goes out of his way to make sure you have every opportunity to do so. Small workload, easy credits.

I took this class online, I had bought all of his books including his study guide. All of it helps. his lectures are understandable, going through the pandemic and trying to stay encouraged it help that a professor takes the time to understand you. He has office hours, reply back to emails. His lectures make sense, and he is willing to help you.

This is THE easiest class I've ever taken. His lectures are very informative and collaborative. He offers a ton of extra credit. Since he is involved with politics himself, so he has first-hand insight into how to teach and what is important to learn. The textbooks are his own books. Even though it was easy, I learned a lot about the government.

Test does not have time limit. Need book to do the test. Need to quote 1-2 sentences during discussions. Some quiz have10-15 questions. The exams has 10-20 questions. Each question is worth 5-10 points. Written responses is worth 25-50 points. Easy A class but 100 percent requires book to pass this American Politics class.

All assignments were discussions really easy. Lets you turn in assignments late, understandable person when it came to late work, like I didnt turn in the two essays that was needed but at the end of the course finishing let me turn them in for full credit, his organization was great! Just do all the work and should get thro the course easy

the readings are easy reading, typical work load of readings, videos, discussions, quizzes, and two essays.

Very good class. Work load is not overwhelming or stressful. Two essays and two quizzes were the only challenging assignments. We also did 16 discussion posts like "define the disadvantages of X." which were 75 words minimum and you reply to others. My advice is make sure you get the textbooks ahead of time. You'll do fine if you take this course.

I took this class during my summer semester and expected a lot of work, but everything was well organized. There is a lot of reading but he provides many lectured material and all the work was easily accessible and organized. There were two papers and the assignments are just discussion boards.

I took Dr. Cohen's American Politics Class at Chaffey over the summer 6-week course. His course did not feel crammed and everything was well organized. There are 3 tests and 1 essay; 2 tests from the readings and 1 final. I recommend reaching out to the professor prior to the start of class and asking which books will be used.

If you are taking the online course for PS-101 the professor is very flexible with your schedule and allows you to go at your own pace as long as you get the work done on time.

Professor Cohen is probably the teacher you want to take if you are taking this class for the credits. It's a really easy-to-understand class. I took this course online and the only thing he made us do were discussion boards and two essays. For the essays you do need to use the textbook, you can find it on amazon kindle for free on the free trial.

Professor R.L. Cohen is a great teacher to have if you're looking to take American Politics online. His lectures and book readings are very informative and help a lot with preparing for the tests. The workload is not heavy and he provides extra credit as well. Overall, I enjoyed this class and would highly recommend it to others.

I completely encourage you to take Professor Cohen's PS 101 course. Super easy, straight forward with the assignments, Gives feedback, Interesting discussion boards. I took it in summer which summer classes tend to be tough since they are fast paced but this class did not stress me at all and gives you plenty of time to finish assignments.

Professor Cohen was the only professor that helped me through much paperwork that cleared me to enroll into his summer course late and was very gracious when it came to turning in all coursework I had missed thus far. Really easy grader and flexible due dates. Took his fast-track class, most important books to have are Political Science Basics and Choosing Liberty in California Policy Reform, (didn't use the other two to be honest). Though make sure to buy Political Science Basics as soon as possible.

Cohen posts the modules early so you can get them done ahead of time, and is very understanding with his grading criteria. Just make sure to buy your books early.

I recently had Professor Cohen for PS 101 (online course). His class was not hard at all. He was very laid back and not once did I need help from my peers because he was clear with all of his assignments. Quizzes/exams are incredibly short. Essay criteria was not hard to meet. Discussions were very easy to respond to. Would recommend him.

4 books were required to buy, heavy on the pockets of a broke student. However, they were (to an extent) useful. Professor's lectures were very straightforward, just like everything else in the course. Due to being online, there was no direct conversation between me and the professor.

This class was very straightforward. The structure was set to make the class easy to navigate. The workload was very light, yet you become very informed from class discussions. About three of the books are necessary for most assignments, which can be costly if you can't find used ones. 10/10 would recommend this teacher and class overall!

Great professor, he requires three textbooks that are mandatory for his course. Most of the assignments are discussion posts based on reading chapters. I took his class as a fast-track course, you won't feel lost in his class as he thoroughly goes over all of the material and gives feedback on each assignment. Also offers extra credit. Take him!

The online course was very well put together, the discussions were interesting, the lectures were great, grading was excellent. Just do your assigned task on time you will do well in this class. All three books are a must-read because of all the information given if you are interested in Political Science.

I took this class as an online anytime course, the required books will literally give you an A in the class. The study guides in the back of the books are for the quizzes.

He is very nice and considerate of his students. This is a very easy class as this was a self-pace class. You are only required to take 2 tests and 2 essays. He also offers extra credits.

The professor has some humor when discussing the lectures, which makes it great for the class because we don't have to sit through a long and dull lecture but gets all the students engaged and wanting to participate. He really expands our thinking by using real world scenarios in his lectures. I really enjoyed all the extra credit and few essays!

I really didn't want to take this class because of all the reading I was going to have to do but once I got familiar with the books, It all came together for me and became more interesting and easier along the way for me. Really amazing professor. I learnt a lot about American politics through this class. Before i had no clue about how American politics worked and now i got a clear understanding of local, state and federal level political structure. It was a really good class to just take instead of other courses because it was online with a very manageable workload. The only think is he wants you to buy a $150 book but I did the class without it so it's not a requirement.

This professor is flexible with late due and understands anyone's needs. It gives you many materials such as point powers and textbooks. However, it requires you to buy a few textbooks. There is no reason why you shouldn't get an A in this class. LOTS of extra credit opportunities. Answers to his tests are literally in the back of the books(that he is the author of). Great online course, this is my first time taking an online course and Professor Cohen made it very easy and manageable. All of the discussions are pretty self-explanatory, and the textbooks have a lot of information, the online lectures also help a lot throughout the course. I totally recommend this online course.

Professor Cohen's class was one of the easiest I've taken, I took the hybrid course and there was 1 discussion a week. There are 2 essays that are very easy to complete. He gives 2 or 3 tests but they are exactly what we learn during the lecture, so it is not confusing at all. I highly recommend taking his class.

This was a great class! Read the book and your good to go! I bought all of the books, there's three. One for essays, one for discussions, and one for the final test. There's also a study guide book available! I would 100% take this class again.

The teacher's style was good a lot of discussions gave way to many conversations between classmates and was very engaging in terms of work and how we could learn overall perfect class the only downside I would say that the amount of textbooks so many makes you wonder which you are read at a time.

Although government isn't my top subject, Cohen did make it easy to understand. We did mostly discussions for our online course and he was very interactive. I found it most helpful when he would include his own input on our assignments. Tests were simple and the textbooks for this course written by him were very informative!

Overall I liked this class, there was never an overload of assignments. Throughout the whole course, there were only 2 essays and 3 exams in total. A somewhat expensive class with all the textbooks you have to buy, but a relatively manageable class if you have things on the side to do. There are 2 essays but aren't complicated prompts or difficult enough to reach the word count. The tests are mostly true/false questions and multiple choice. (GL finding an online copy of textbooks.)

Professor Cohen's class was great! It was interesting and made me think about politics in a new way. He is passionate about the subject and makes the lectures engaging. The class discussions were great, and I learned a lot from hearing other perspectives. The assignments were not too challenging, but I felt like I learned a lot from doing them.

Prof. Cohen is an amazing professor! He takes time in creating his assignments and makes sure we all understand what to write and do for the assignment. I personally struggle with trying to understand what the professor is assigning, and he just went above and beyond to make sure I can understand and comprehend what he expected from me.

The professor is very straightforward with the class work. There are two essay's that are required but are very simple if you do the required reading and watch the video lectures and other videos he provides. Tests are open book so that helps when taking the exam. As someone who doesn't really like politics, he made this class very interesting.

There were many class discussions that encouraged the students to interact with one another. I would recommend this professor and would definitely take another of his classes.

PS-101 taught by Professor Cohen, was my favorite college class. This was one of the first online classes I took so I was initially nervous, but the professor made it super easy to keep track of all assignments and gave clear directions. Assignments were very straightforward but also very engaging. Would recommend it to anyone needing the class.

Prof. Cohen was awesome! He's funny and the whole class is lighthearted. The course load is not at all heavy, but makes sure you understand the content. The textbook is $120 though... and all the textbooks in total for me were $163! So that's not fun. But overall the class was fun and engaging.

Downright honest, it was a bit of a heavy reading course, but worth it as I have learned a lot, every week there is a discussion board attached to the chapter, 3 tests that are open notes, and 2 essays. Honestly, this was an easy quick class. The professor is very understanding and assignments are graded on participation. The class required a textbook but I never bought it and passed with an A. I liked the online course with Chaffey College as he did not assign much assignments and his textbook was very easy to understand (he wrote it himself!). Overall, very easy course if you just do the discussion posts and the essays were not hard at all.
