Well, he's a cool teacher who really connects with the class. My girlfriend and I sit together and cut up during class while taking notes, and he'l laugh along with us while he's teaching. His tests are multiple choice, and he picks up HW, but not much.

Tough class, great professor!

Mr. Hunter is a great guy who is very helpful and understanding. If you are willing to put a little work in this class, you can receive an A. However, if you are a statistics major, I will not recommend his as a teacher for you.

Very flexible and easy-going. His tests come straight from the notes which he writes out on the board. Your learning is supported by homework problems specifically selected to coincide with the material covered in the lecture.

He is a great teacher! Lets you use 1 page of notes and the unit circle on the test. He explains all the material very well, goes over whats exactly going to be on the test, and extremely helpful! I would recommend taking his class!

Mr. Hunter is an excellent teacher. He will go out of his way to help you. He enjoys what he does and wants his students to be successful. This course is difficult but he tries to ease the stress. He allows more than 15 minutes for help in his office, unlike many Math teachers. I would highly recommend this professor!

Ive had hunter for two semesters now and i think he is a great teacher. He wants you to understand it and at times can be funny. Watch out though he likes trying to run over students with his car. ;)

He explain things very well and gives really good examples. class can be boring but he doesnt keep you the whole hour and 45 minutes that youre scheduled to stay in class. His tests are HARD. SO STUDY for them and you'll be fine. He allows ONE sheet of notes. CRAM EVERYTHING YOU CAN ON IT!!

Doctor Hunter is just great!! He is funny and very easy going. He cannot make his tests easier. Study a little and you will get an easy A.I highly recomend him. He is cute too!!

Easy. He'll let you use a sheet of notes for the day of the test. He goes kinda fast, so if you dont really know the stuff your screwed b/c he goes about two sections each week. If you do know some of the stuff, you can get by. Just take him!

Professor Hunter is the kind of math teacher you want to terach you math if you have some interest in math. He allows you to bring you notes to class for the test, which is very helpful. Overrall, he is a very easy going lecturer. I would recommend you take him any time.

Mr. Hunter could not make this class any easier. He explains things wonderfully and clearly, he is very helpful in answering questions, he gives a test review and then gives you practice tests that are very similar to the tests. If you don't get an A in his class, then you simply are not trying. It is important to attend class every day.

i'm horrible in math and failed my share of math classes, but mr. hunter is so awesome. there's something about the way he explains everything- it just makes so much sence. i passed his class with the highest math grade i ever got! STRONGLY RECOMMEND!!!

Professor Hunter is a wonderful teacher. He is very helpful and explains if you have questions. Has 4 test, drops lowest grade. Lots of Hw but you have plenty of time to complete it. Just checks for a completion grade. But make sure you do hw to help you understand overall material. Final is cumulative.

I took Mr. Hunter for summer, and I have no idea what is with the comment below me. his tests are HOMEWORK problems. the class before the test he tells you what HW problems to focus on and those are EXACTLY on the test. just study, do your homework, come to class and ask him questions. the more you show effort the more hints he will give you abt te

Professor Hunter was a great professor. I made a C in the class, but it was deserved for the effort put in over a summer semester. If I needed help- he helped. But because I didn't do as well as I did, doesn't mean it had anything to do with him. Would take again-not in summer.

I took this professor in my fall semster at dunwoody campus and i wish i could take any of his class again. Very detailed and helpfull teacher. I studied at his office hours alot and he made sure i understand the basic concepts . I got an A in calass and i was also exempted from the compass test just because of good performance in class

Great teacher for precal. Very informative, slow, and helpful to understand the concepts. He basically gives you the questions that will be on the test, so it makes it very easy to study for the tests.

Kind of awkward guy but that can be funny in class sometimes. In-class examples are parallel with test questions. Tests are pretty easy if you understand the material. Don't put off his webassign homework like me or you will regret it. Even if you are good at math, the webassign hw will be very long and tedious.

Hunter is a great professor. He explains every problem in depth and is very lenient with homework due dates. Never use the textbook in class, but it helps. Tests are way easier than the online homework. He will stay after to explain a problem until you understand it. He is a very nice guy. Love him! I plan on taking him next semester for calculus.

Hunter is one of the best teachers I have ever had. I always hated math, but he makes it easier to understand. Math is still difficult for me, but the way he teaches helps to apply it to real life. On a scale of 1-10 this class was about a 7. He lectures and does examples of problems he will most likely use for the test. There are 4 tests and he drops the lowest one. His lectures sometimes can be dull as he has somewhat of a mono-tone voice. With that being said I am planning to take him again for calculus II. PS:DO THE HOMEWORK

Very very nice person. He has 4 tests and they are relatively easy because he gives GREAT and CLEAR study guides. DROPS LOWEST TEST. Long long web assign homeworks that are harder than the tests! But often does most of them in class. Just make sure to keep up with them! Posts all notes and powerpoints online.

Mr. Hunter has a monotone voice (but I also had him at 7:00 am, so he may have been tired). Sometimes his lectures are boring, but his tests aren't tricky and study guides are clear and helpful. I took both Calc 1 and 2 with Professor Hunter. Such an amazing guy! BTW, he really has a good sense of humor, you just need to get to know him better. I wish he teaches Calc 3. Now let's get to business: Calc 2 is by far more diverse and more intense than Calc 1. Get ready to work really hard if you want to get an "A". Best wishes!!!

Took him for calc 1 and 2, great guy and has really easy to follow lectures that cover the material that will be on the exams. 4 tests and a final, with the lowest grade being dropped, which is a great system. Homework is assigned in the beginning of the year and is all due at the end of the course, which is the only deadline. Great teacher.

Hunter has a real gift for explaining high-level math in layman's terms. As someone who isn't a STEM major, his calculus class was about as good as I can imagine it getting. He gives plenty of notes and resources so you can understand anything. Would definitely recommend.

I've had Hunter for Trig, Calc1, and now Calc2. Wish he taught further, I love the way he presents things! He usually makes a joke or 2 per class, and he's very kind on his tests, he def doesn't want his class to fail. It's not a "plug & play" type of math, though, you still have to know what you're doing and why. He works problems on the board. <3

Professor Hunter is amazing at explaining step-by-step how to do problems. He also makes his tests really easy and are no where near as hard as the homeworks. However, he does have a monotone voice (maybe because he gets 2 hours of sleep and teaches at 7AM). He has a great sense of humor too.

Prof. Hunter was one of the better teachers out there in the math department of Perimeter College. For those that are looking for someone who could be excellent at teaching math, don't go anywhere else. His exams are easier than the homeworks, but then you will have to practice the HW questions, go to office for questions, and review old exams.

Great professor, basically show up to class and watch him go over the notes and homework, and then do all the homework for practice. Tests were average and he provides test information and includes comparable questions from the textbook sections that will be on the test. If you do all those questions and get most right expect good grades. Cool dude
