Rudy is the best teacher ever! He explains everything very well and cares about his students. There are 2 tests and an optional final. He is a very funny and laidback guy i recommend him to ANYONE! He is also a total babe!

The semester I took his class nobody got a grade lower than a C. That's fine w/me. He really takes attendance into account.Even if he doesnt know your name he knows your face and you could go talk to him.

He is a little over-rated, but he is still a good teacher. He gives two test and an optional final. He gives you study guides for the test and they help a little, but his test are difficult. He is basically laid back with tough test, lots of movies, and he misses a lot of classes so thats always nice.

Considering he gives you the CCS150 tests, the class is a joke. Great guy. Very easy to work with and you'll grow to love him. Use his office hours and he'll give you a good grade. He doesn't make hardly anyone take the final! great and easy diversity class to take. highly recommended.

Jacobo is a great professor. I took 3 different courses with him & I rarely remember him canceling classes that much. Taking good notes in his class will get you an A unlike the C most people are willing to take.

He is Really Funny... if you know your key terms you will pass his class... The test are not very easy but he wants you to pass so you can always work things out... Go to office hours that will sure help you!!

His tests are hard so make sure you study and KNOW the key terms. He gives you a study guide and extra credit so it's really easy to get an A if you actually try. He in flexible, sometimes cancels class, but overall he works with you and helps you.

Eassy class if you show up or not, just follow study guide terms and you will get at least a C, even if you fail exams he still tells the class he will do everything in his power to get you at least a C- No need to buy the books, showing up to class will probably get you a B. His 50 question final took me around 10 minutes, eassy.

If you read and pay attention to the films, you'll do well. Also, don't be afraid to ask him questions...he's very nice and approachable. His lectures are a little bit off at times though. Overall, he's not bad.

This man is hilarious. Sit in the front and ACTUALLY COME TO CLASS, and you will get a good grade. I say sit in the front because one day I didn't and I couldn't understand him very well and found it hard to pay attention. But if you sit in the front he will keep you entertained for sure.

He's hilarious. And he doesn't only speak in Spanish, but since it is a Chicano/a class it requires Spanish. It's easy, fun, and interesting. Plus there's no way he'd let you fail.

This class and prof is AWESOME!!! He is a great professor. I liked his lectures because he really does know what he is talking about. This class is only easy if you go to his office hours and try to get test questions from him. So if your willing to do that it makes the class much easer. Hardest test first then it gets easer. Got an A but studied a lot.

Great class and professor. He has a pretty strong accent, so listen carefully. 3 multiple choice and True/False exams. He grades on a curve, as long as you do the study guides and read some of the required texts an A or B is possible. Class is very interesting and relevant to San Diego and our bordering Mexican cities.

Awesome teacher, down to Earth and is funny... I learned alot even though it was not particularly a class I wanted to take, I was glad I took it. Teacher cares and wants students to do their best...thanks!!!

his lectures are really interesting and keep you listening. his multiple choice tests are really precise and kills you with the "not given" option. he makes you buy his book as one of your texts. a lot of the questions from the test are from this book. there are a lot of spellling and grammatical errors in this book... quick profit

He is amazing! He is a very funny and understanding teacher. If you go in is office hours frequently, he is more than eager to help you receive a good grade. His tests are somewhat easy because he gives you test questions in class, but the true/false questions and "none of the above" ones will get you!!!

Do yourself a favor and take him. Of the two years I've been at State he is probably my favorite Professor. Pretty odd to say this but I actually looked forward to going to class. He is a really great guy who cares about his students, and funny too! Hope to catch him in another class that he is teaching in the future.

He is one of my favorite professors in SDSU. Very helpful, funny, and caring for his students. This class is almost exactly the same as the lower division 141B except for the short essay questions on tests. I highly recommend it, you will have a good time and learn something, plus meeting your GE requirements.

Easy class...you dont need the textbooks, he will give you the answers to the study guide on the review session. One of my favorite teachers, cares for the students and will answer any question until everyone understands it clear.

This is his last year teaching at SDSU. He is a professor that really cares about his students. I know that there are a lot of comments saying that the class is super easy. This is the case only if you review the study guides. I know this is obvious but don't go into the fist exam thinking you will get a decent grade. Overal,take him he is easy. :)

CHICANA/O HISTORY - Summer class: Great teacher! Clearly cares for all his students and will help you with anything. Ask him any question, even in the middle of a test, and he'll give you the answer. Clearly outlines exactly what you need to know. 3 MC tests, all very straight forward. Teaches you about life. Easy class. I got a B+

hes nice n actually cares whether his students pass or fail. he doesnt give us a huge 10pg paper to do, but he does make us write papers but about some of the chicano art n history in sd and not 5pg or more but on 2-2.5pgs. hes awesome and good looking.
