Three exams (Lowest gets dropped) and a final. Textbook was handouts about 70 pages in length. if you honestly read the material thoroughly before the exams you could pull off an A or B+. Easy class is you actually put a little bit of effort.

do not be fooled. this class is not an easy a. its definitely an easy b. but to get an a you actually have to go to lecture and try...and the lectures are painfully boring. literally, painful. the material is dry and boring and he is an ultra liberal. all that aside, if you are happy with an effortless b for your global awareness requirement, decent

Regarding the guy who wrote before me, Roger Balm is qualified as he has a PHD from Rutgers, so lets not say hes not qualified. However, it is hard to get an A as he gives them out sparingly.

this is the only class that kept me from getting a 4.0 this semester even though i SHOULD have gotten an a. his curve is real b.s. because it brought my grade in the class DOWN!

it's easy to get an A you just can't mess up on any exam. One B and you're finished. just go to every lecture, take notes, read the book a few times, understand what he's saying, and you'll be fine. But yeah, the curve isn't the best, since everyone can do well and you can still get a B. Lookelsewhere ifyou're want an easy A

He drops your lowest test grade. Very easy to get a B+. The material is very easy to memorize. I used to read it the night before and review 2 hours before the exam. This is an easy class to fulfill the SAS requirements. Never went to lecture still got an A

took this class because i needed to fill my science and global awareness requirements. its painfully boring and the tests are really tricky even if you study. i thought it would be way easier than it is. definitely not an easy A unless you are really interested in geography and good at science!

Extreme left-wing professor. Seriously disturbed with some of his viewpoints. One must internalize all of the B.S., but 70% of it won't come up on exams. And yea, you'll probably fall short of an 'A' anyway.

This class is not easy. You have to try if you want to do well. The first exam I thought was a joke and got a C, I studied for the next two and received better grades. Luckily, he drops the lowest test grade. He has a British accent, but class is still boring. Make sure to go though! He presents videos in class that he uses for exam questions

Global Environment is NOT an easy A class. (And no, I'm not someone who is complaining because I got a bad grade or because I'm lazy). I went to almost every class and generally paid attention, took notes, reviewed the guide he gives, and got a b+. Exams are somewhat tricky.

The class isn't completely impossible. However, it is FAR from an easy A. You should really go to class (videos and extra notes) and memorize the textbook for exams. Personally, I have no interest in geography and god knows how I got the grade I did in the class. If you have an interest in the subject, you may actually like it!

Ok... Don't take it if you expect an easy A. I totally memorized the textbook and went to lecture. He gives you good curve. But the exams are hard. I got 34 out of 50 on one of the exams, which is B. What more can I say.

Interesting topics, yet he is somewhat boring to listen to especially at 8AM. movies in recitations are interesting, but it is hard to get an a. make sure to study the book VERY thoroughly because the questions are tricky and a lot of all of the above choices.

Great person! Really sophisticated guy. You should be able to read thourougly and analyze the material from the text and figure what would be on the exams. His lectures can be very boring, i only went once a week. But the text he wrote is where you'll find everything. He's extremely smart and has no patience for nuisance that goes on in class.
