Wonderful learning experience with Klee! He explains things very clearly and answers all questions well. You will always know what to expect on exams. The exams are hard, but if you study exactly what he says you will do well. He also curves exams and gives in class extra credit opportunities.

The material was tough and you need to come to every class to keep up and take the weekly quizzes, but he covers the material well and will tell you exactly what's on the quiz. Tests are difficult but there's a curve.

His test was tough, but he gave u guidance so we will know what's gonna be on the exam. Multiple choices were kinda tricky sometimes. Read the book and concept carefully !For the essay problems, they were pretty similar with the quizzes problem. We were also required to work on paper about analysis financial in whatever industry we chose.

Instructor was good he helped a lot but the test especially the multiple choice part was a nightmare.

Wonderful professor and a great class! Do the homework, learn the formulas, and focus on lectures and this class will be interesting and a piece of cake. Test questions can be a little tricky at times.The instructor is very helpful and extremely approachable. Curves and extra credit opportunities are available.

This is definitely not an easy class but professor Klee is an excellent teacher!! He is very clear in his lectures, knowledgable, interesting, young(early 30's?) and easy on the eyes. If you attend all the classes, do the homework, practice the quizzes then you should get atleast a B.

This is a PowerPoint lecture type class. Tests are combination of conceptual and applied material and are multiple choice. Averages HW scores---worth a test grade!! Occasionally he'll give an extra credit problem in class, although the people who need the points the most are the least likely to get them (an observation).

Be prepared to get your time in and study for his classes. You are the only one who can earn you the A. Learn to write small and read your own writing. you will need it for the note cards. Good luck!

Honestly he's not as bad as people make him seem.I always opened the book and did the HW one day before the exams and still got a -B.You can't get an A if you dont put the time people.He's actually pretty easygoing ..skipped a whole chapter on the final.And he wasn't rude in our class, in fact, he answered everyone's questions(even the silly ones)

He is somewhat arrogant but he does a nice job spelling out whats on the test. He will say "Make sure you know this," and other types of flags which makes studying easier. The class itself is very difficult so be sure not to miss class, study hard, and you should get a solid grade. I thought he was very fair and direct.

He is not, i repeat he is not an easy professor, however if you want to learn take Klee. if all you care about is an easy grade and waste of your time and money take Raimer. I actually learned alot from his classes and still walked away with A's because the material made sense. no guessing games in here, you learn and know the outcome on your exams

Incredibly intelligent and a great asset for CSU. I learned more in this class than every other class this semester combined. That said, this class is far from an easy A. There is a LOT of reading to do and attention to detail required. But his tests are very passable if you write down the examples he does in class and understand what's going on.

This is my 2nd class with Prof. Klee and I'll take more if I can. The whining on here is from non-finance kids forced to take 351 who're upset they can't just show up and get an easy A like in MKT. Klee posts the important class notes to Blackboard. If you know them, know how to do the quiz questions, and show up, you'll get an A. Great teacher!

Yes, he is tough. You will have to work to get past him, but you will learn something. If you don't want to learn something, than get out of grad school.

Great lecturer,he's able to cover everything without losing time. He's clear about what's on the test, solves problems in class and posts the notes online. His exams are balanced, the problems are almost exactly the same as the ones he goes over in class(only 630 so questions but worth 50%) & the multiple choice are from the slides. Curves 4-10%.

Is clear about everything you'll do. His exams are exactly what he says they are, no surprises. If you're decent in algebra it's an easy A, if not you might have to work a couple hours out of class. No homework, don't know if he always does that thought. Also,No attendance

I loved this class! I'm a Finance major and this was my first Finance class and I'm totally looking forward to taking another class with Prof. Klee. I only wish he would give more "check my answer" attempts on the Connect homework problems. But you should definitely take advantage of the Finance tutoring office and his Office hours. Nice guy.

Prof. Klee is a really great, funny guy and is very invested in his students and lectures. He does powerpoints and I would recommend you come to class with them. His tests are really tough and he really makes you think about an answer. Each test covers A LOT of info from class, so if you're not a finance major then I wouldn't recommend this class.

Professor Klee will make you actually understand the material. He is a teacher with a finance background, not vice-versa like many professors at CSU. He is clear and direct. Tests are tough but if you attend lecture and study a normal amount, you will be fine. I've taken 4 of his classes in total and would absolutely recommend him.

Klee isn't too bad. He gives 4 tests with curves and has a homework assignment on Connect for each chapter. The main issue I had was that the homeworks only had three tries per problem, which could give you frustration. Attendance isn't mandatory, but if you're smart then you'll go.

nice guy either you like him or you don't i would not recommend taking this class with him if you are not a finance major because he moves kind of fast but does explain the material i would only take it with him if you are a finance major and have prior knowledge and want to learn about this kind of stuff

Great professor, and I am not a finance major. I wish i would have not taken during the summer, because it was a great course and he taught it well. Due to the nature of being a 5 week course, it was a lot of info in a short period of time. I wish he taught more courses. He's funny and he curves, what more could you ask for?

He gave extra credit for group assignments, doing the online course evalution, and going to a insurance event. This class has a lot of stuff to remember but he lets you use a 4 x 6 note card (front & back). He can come off as being smug, arrogant and rude at times, but he is a amazing teacher, the best I have taken in Finance at CSU at the moment.

If you are a finance major take every class you can with him. If you actively pay attention, you will learn every aspect of the class. I have taken 4 classes with him and I have learned more in his classes over anyone else. Fair tests and wants to help students that want to learn.

Klee is great, I wish he taught graduate classes. Took his class many times. He understands when people aren't getting it and slows down. No question is too dumb to ask him. He does seem like hes a little spun up on adderal or something sometimes but it makes his lectures a little more interesting. i give him a 10/10. Just listen to the lecture

Ok, I first thought of him as kinda mean. However, after talking one on one with him, he is extremely nice and genuinely cares for his students. He is a tough grader, but a fair one. His class is hard, you will have to put on work, but not impossible to get an A. He and professor Niro are the best 2 professors Cleveland State.

He teaches you things that you will actually use in the real world!

Gives good examples and has a very organized schedule that he sticks to. Lectures, then gives supplemental examples that help with understanding the online homework problems.

He talks the whole time, which isn't necessarily a bad thing just more of an FYI. He really knows his stuff and was a good teacher. You can easily do well by just doing the work. Read the PPT's and review a bit before the test. He also curves which is nice.

Overall a pretty good professor. He is clear and concise with his class, and discussion among students is encouraged. He teaches a meaningful topic and his passion and knowledge for it is clear. From personal experience he will meet with you after class to discuss help in the class and with in your career search. Great guy I wish more were like him

Prof. Klee comes off rude and weird at first. But he is hilarious, enthusiastic and a bit awkward. Lecture heavy; teaches off of his powerpoints. Tricky exam questions but he gives lots of hints and doesn't ask anything he didn't already talk about. Clear and straightforward teaching style, class was very easy for me.

If you looking for a FIN351 professor that actually teaches, Professor Klee is the guy to have. He is nice, some ppl would say he's awkward. He's helpful, he gave me good advice when I did bad on the 1st 2 exams and I did better on the last 2 exams. His exam are quite brutal, but if you study, it shouldn't be too bad. Going to his office hrs helps.

Finance is tough and you have to work for your grade. He makes it as simple and straightforward as possible, and he gives you the formulas and everything you need to do. 4 exams and a HW grade, each worth 20% of your grade. He curves the exams. He can seem arrogant in lectures but you can tell he cares. You will probably struggle if you skip class.

He's a great finance professor. He tells you what you have to do to get a good grade and its absolutely doable if you are willing to put in maybe 2-3 hours of work outside of class a week. He's not an easy A. He makes you work to understand rather than throwing you softballs. I definitely felt a lot more knowledgeable after his lectures.

Hardest class Ive taken to date. Nonetheless, couldnt be more greatful. Klee forces you to think, understand the concepts at its core. Great course if youre pursuing the CFA. Helped me outside of class with connections and on my project for another class. However, if youre not hardworking- turn around and run. This class isnt meant for everyone.

Roger Klee knows what he is talking about. His class was very well organized. I thought that I would not pass this class at first, but he explains the material very well. Attendance isn't mandatory, but I can't see how you would pass without going to every lecture. He is very professional and really wants to help students. Go to office hours.

A solid choice for any required courses. He does a good job demenstrating how to solve problems that helps you to be able to do them yourself. Lectures can be a bit confusing when going over conceptual material, but simply reading the book can clear up any issues their. This is a class you'll have to put the work into, but is possible to do well.

Awesome class. Professor Klee is a good lecturer and is very understanding towards questions and helping with solutions. The course material is very deep and takes quite a bit of work outside of class to receive the grade you want. Highly recommend this class and professor for any finance class.

Best professor I've had to date at CSU. High expectations but explains the material well. Class attendance is a must if you want to pass. A little extra studying and an A is totally feasible. His lectures are super engaging and entertaining which helps. Don't expect to skate by in this but the work is truly rewarding. I recommend his FIN470 too.

This class was my hardest class this semester due to the volume of information you learn for exams. There are 3 exams, those are 84% of your grade. Scary but his lectures are great. You just have to put in extra time to study& use every inch of the card you can use for exams. He gives Xtra credit through interactive group projects. I recommend.

I've had him for several classes and he is my favorite finance professor. He doesn't require attendance but it is 100% necessary to succeed. He makes expectations clear and is a fair grader and he also curves tests. If you put in the work, you'll get a high grade. You will not be able to just skate by.

His class is not one you can just skate through. If you study there is no reason to not get a passing grade however. He does give a pretty generous curve but IMO if you just study and do practice problems the curve shouldn't be needed. It seems intimidating at first but he tells you what to study and it is just up to you to study it

Professor Klee is awesome. Clear communication of what is expect of you and in-depth lectures for each chapter. Watch the lectures and review the material prior to exams and you'll be good.

I don't get bad reviews for Pr.Klee. Yes, he expects you to study but that's part of higher education, isn't it? Lectures are practical and useful in real life, tests are proctored and consist of 25 questions, not overly hard, and he curves grades and drops 5 lowest homework scores. He's fair and rewards effort. Responsible students will do well!

Show effort, don't miss class, and don't wait until the last minute to study for exams. The professor is very accessible, explains concepts as many times as needed, and has helpful office hours. If you put in the work, you'll do well in this class.

As a sophmore in high school, I would say the class was a 3.5/5. The course is VERY lecture heavy but he has a clear grading criteria. Tests are proctored with 100 points each. There's only 4 tests overall and not many assignments. There's also grade boosts if the majority of your class participates in course evaluations. Just pay attention!!!
