Dr. Morton's passion&knowledge for the subject made the class more interesting. If you miss one class, he'll repeat what he said the next because we're too busy jotting down notes to listen the first time. Most of the questions on the midterm are from notes and they're fairly easy if u study the notes and read book & he emphasizes what's on the test

Dr. Morton is a great teacher, relax and helpful. Grades very easily and does not assign too much work. Do not buy the textbook, simply come to class and take notes. He always repeats the lectures from the previous class, so sometimes it gets boring/annoying. His lectures are not that interesting, but if you actually pay attention (& sit closer to the front) and take good notes, you'll do well in the class. Exams are only about 35questions, and the book isn't that important.

This guy has become one of my favorite professors at CSULB. He could not make POSC 328 any easier than he did in spring. Have to say though he reminds me of DRAKE (face) and OBAMA (personality-chill, easy, and very open minded) at the same time. If given a chance to take him, trust me, TAKE HIM. TAKE HIM. TAKE HIM. Best decision I have ever made!!!

I took this class a couple semesters ago. Frequent discussion postings, multiple-choice exams, and an essay. What I appreciate most about Morton is that he never pushes his own opinions on students and likes to play devil's advocate. Other professors could really learn from his teaching style. He is really nice, very kind and approachable.

To be honest, every POSC class he teaches, is structured the same way. So, if you get an A in any of his classes, then you are set for all A's in all his POSC courses.
