He is a nice person....but the class is very hard to stay awake in. He mumbles a lot and u have to know everything that he says in the class for the test. SO STAY AWAKE! haha But otherwise it's not too bad

I like his class. It is very boring, but He is a very nice guy and understanding! You must stay awake to do well in the class.

He has an odd sense of humor but funny nonetheless. Be sure to come to class because he tests over all the notes. He is entertaining and very easy to understand and comprehend. I recommend taking him any chance you get.

This teacher makes the material entertaining and interesting. It will open doors to your understanding of the family in society. He knows his stuff. Has been extremely helpful to me

Roger is a great teacher, he might be a little dull once in a while, and might not take student's attitudes, but he still knows his stuff, and really does care for the students that he enjoys. Just act interested, and be respectful to him and you will do fine. and a hottie!

I enjoyed this class very much. He tries to make the class enjoyable and interesting - mixes current events and videos into class. Definetly one of the best classes that I've taken.

Teacher really knows his stuff, can be very helpful, is a very approachable teacher who clearly is interested in and likes what he teaches. I got a lot out of this class

Getting an A in soc class is like getting the sun shine. This guy actually teaches something substantive, and even something about using class time

Challenging class but taught fairly. 4 books and 4 papers. Tests cover a lot of material but going to class and studying take care of most of it. In class he is very confrontational but only if you have an opinion. If you are afraid of being "harassed" then keep quiet and he will leave you alone.

Much of this class involves discussing books. All he does is ask people to explain their opinions. He asks follow up questions. I've found him to be very mild and open. He also has been very helpful in giving advice on writing style. 2 thumbs up!

his mannerisms are priceless just like his tiger shirt. he may come off as alarming at first but you grow to love him. he's very knowledgable and is passionate about what he teaches. get to know the guy and he will definitely help you out.

Only had a week of class and I can tell its going to be great, he's a nice guy with a good sense of humor.

Really nice guy. Study his study guides and read what he tells you to and his classes are impossible to do poorly in. Played an entire Simpsons episode in class. Played a Chapelle's Show clip, as well. Basically, just loves reading books and Comedy Central. If he disagrees with you on ANYTHING, he will tell you to your face, usually immediately.

Interesting class - good teacher. VERY easy to follow his notes, all you have to do is follow the study guide and the test is a breeze. Also watch a lot of documentaries - at the most unexpected times he says hillarious things, which you don't expect. I would recommend him to anyone

This is the only class i look forward to on MWF. Roger speaks the lingo of college kids and is always a riot in class. he's easygoing and the movie clips we watch are educational and entertaining. GO TO CLASS-- the short answers on the test are taken from the videos. great teacher for soc.

He's a nice guy. Not always the most exciting to listen to, but nice. He can be surprisingly funny at times, too. The notes he gives are very basic and easy to follow, and, as has been stated several times, he shows a lot of videos. They're usually very interesting. He gives study guides before every test, and they help a lot.

I loved this class. Every class I learned something new. I found it helpful and applicable to the real world. Neustadter is humurous. Tests were 50% from class lecture & 50% from the book. I found tests easy if you study your notes. Take extensive notes in class. It will help you. I found this class enjoyable, even as a gen ed.

Anthropology was immensely entertaining. The tests are based on lecture and vids shown in class, so you're best off going to class (not everything will be in the book). Not the greatest lecturer, but he tries, and he's a nice guy. Genuinely amused by life =].

His lectures and humor are a bit dry but he's nice. To make class less mundane he shows video clips almost everytime, sometimes they're boring but he tries to break it up with some Simpsons every once in awhile. Offers extra credit on tests that almost solely come from lectures so go to class. Pretty painless and easy.

Great teacher. READ the syllabus, he does not like to answer questions when you can find anything you need to know on the syllabus. He shows videos every class period which take about half the class, and which makes attending mandatory. But he is fun and funny, and everything on the test is provided for you on the study guide. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Best teacher I've had so far. Everything he lectures about is on the test so you don't ever have to read the book to get a good grade. His humor is kinda dry but he says some of the most random crap in class which makes listening worth it. I recommend him for sociology.

I thought that his class was very easy. Don't read the book, just go to class and write down what he puts on the screen. He shows lots of video clips that appear on the tests. Class is based only off of 4 tests. His sense of humor is dry but he says some pretty funny things every once in a while.

Had him a few semesters, and I've finally this semester realized what a great professor he is. If you're only taking him for gen soc, he's probably the better option anyways because Shin is hard to understand and easy to stop paying attention to. The biggest thing with Neustadter is to remember the stats he gives in class, they're on the tests.

He was a fantastic teacher that knew exactly what he was doing and knew what he was teaching very well. He was very good at teaching and was very passionate

He can be a bit boring at times in the general education classes but overall he is a great teacher who knows what he is talking about.

Dr. Neustadter is very knowledge, but definitely makes you work for your grade. I studied a ridiculous amount to get my A. There are only four tests in the whole class and no study guides. Not going to lie- it is a very difficult course, but I made it out with an A so it is doable. If you show up and try, you shoudn't get lower than a C.

He is an amazing teacher. You have to take a lot of notes and read the book. Make sure to document his videos as well, they will be on your tests as an extra points.
