She is amazing teacher ever. Her teaching style is really good, she makes sure everyone gets the concept. If you want to learn physics choose this teacher and get a good grade :)
Razavi is honestly one of the best physics teachers you can have. All her material is taught in class and the textbook is really optional. I didn't touch the it at all the entire year and still got an A in the class. Lab reports are also a breeze and you can get out of lab after an hour if you complete the experiment. Would recommend her to anyone!
Mrs. Razavi enjoys teaching and getting feedback from students. She's open and available to talk if you need her and readily volunteered links and videos for me to go more in-depth about material that I was interested in. If she sees that a class is struggling with a concept, she'll ask someone else to help make it clear. I strongly recommend her.
Professor Razavi is an amazing professor. Her accent is very light, she's funny and her lectures are active with videos and groupwork. She also makes sure you understand the content before moving on. Attendance and reading the chapters is a must!!! The exams are straight from the book and lectures and you can easily pass as long as you study.
Prof. Razavi is amazing! She is so kind, respects her students, & is very helpful. If you have a question in the class, she will help you on the spot or email you with helpful links to further understand. I have never had a professor care so much about student learning. Tests are straightforward and there is extra credit if needed. Take her class!!
She's such a kind and humble professor! The homework is very simple, and the tests are easy if you study the homework and quizzes. The labs are also easy, but just make sure you're participating. If you have trouble understanding something, she will email you video links to help you grasp the concept. She also gives lots of extra credit!
She was a very nice professor. Very understanding, approachable, and wants her students to pass. Probably the best physics professor you can take, I took her during the summer and she was better than any physics professor I've had even at the main university I go to during the fall and spring. I'm very glad I was able to get her as my professor.
Great amazing professor. Take her if you can!
She is the WORST professor I have ever taken. All she does is read straight from the powerpoints and never explains anything. If you have questions, she refers you to the book. 3 days before the test, and she is STILL giving you new material that will be on the test. Avoid her if she can. She's is HORRIBLE!
Professor Razavi is one of the nicest professors i've had. Her class is very straightforward. I took physics 2 over the summer with her and her powerpoints are very concise and the tests are very similar to the homework, and she will definitely take her time to make sure you understand it as long as you ask. I would take her again if I could!
She is a fantastic instructor. She seemed to really care that the entire class understood the material and prepared us very well for the exams. She was also very willing to meet to your convenience for help. I had PHYS 1402 at Collin College with her and it was the best class I have ever taken. Enjoy her class!
This a the worst professor anyone could ask for, her accent is terrible, does not give proper materials to prepare for tests. Expects you to figure out questions. Introduces new items couple of days before a test and sets questions on those items on the same test. Does not give partial credit on workout questions on a test.
This is one the best science professor i have take in my science major. She all ways want to help student and if you do your homework you should be fine. I would recommend her for physics.
Awesome professor and sweetest person to be around. Physics is tough for me but she does a great job of making it understandable and I found her lectures very easy to follow - her notes are better than the textbook. Tests are similar to your homework so work hard there.
Although Professor Razavi understands the material, she is decent at teaching it. Most of the time us as students in her PHYS 2425 felt lost or not sure what was being taught. There is no partial credit on her tests, even though she says there is. Be prepared to teach yourself the material if you decide to take her.
Awesome Course! Awesome Professor! Professor Razavi is very nice. Go to Class and do ALL homework and the tests should be fairly simple. I am glad I took this course with her. Good Experience :) She also drops 1 Exam. PHYSICS ROCKS !! 0 people found this useful 0 people did not find this useful
Great instructor, but class feels unorganized. Started off saying there would be no partial credit and only the final answer mattered, changed to partial credit. Mentioned extra credit many times, only had two. When she says all test questions are from a sample of questions, it's always a lie. Always one or two to trip you up. Her testreviews suck.
Professor Razavi was honestly the best professor I've ever had at Richland College. she is available if you need to talk to her. I took university physics with her in the fall and I'm grateful to have her as my instructor. Plan to study hard for this course.
Her accent is tough to get through and she often misunderstand questions asked by students. Tests are mostly cookie-cut from homework assignments, but she is inconsistent with what she wants to cover in the test. Students that don't understand physics naturally should avoid her, the class average was extremely low with the exception of a few.
Professor Razavi is one of the best professors I've had. Really caring and wants you to learn, gives out really detailed lecture notes, and makes sure you understand the concepts! I really enjoyed her class. Wish to have more professors like her.
Professor Razavi is an amazing professor that truly wants every student to succeed. God bless this woman!!!!
I wish she taught the people of the Manhattan project, so no one would ever make the nuclear bomb. She nice, but she has no passion, uses other people's power points, and doesn't even give formula sheets IN A PHYSICS CLASS!!!! If you actually want to learn something, this is the wrong class.
I am physics major, and I deeply regret taking Razavi. Her class was too easy, there was no challenge She put no effort into teaching, so I put no effort into learning, If you actually need to know physics, take some one else
Just don't take
Lectures are amazing. No surprises on exams. If you go to class and follow along with her examples and homework, you'll get a clear understanding of what you'll be tested on. From the beginning, you know she wants you to learn and pass. Really great person.
If you have to take advice from a stranger, NOW this the time to do so. I have never had such an awesome professor in my four years of college.
Great Teacher.
I took her this summer . She is very patient with her students. You will easily pass if you study the homework questions.
Such an amazing professor. I look forward to taking her again for PHYS 1402 . Such a blast being in her class!
Great Teacher!
She really cares about the students and genuinely wants you to understand the concepts.
She was very helpful. Do the homework!
Awesome Teacher!
I found her lectures very easy to follow - her notes are better than the textbook. Tests are similar to your homework so work hard there.
She's ENTIRELY too easy. If you are majoring in Physics, trying to get into engineering etc. this may be an easy A for you but I promise you will struggle in upper level because you learn nothing here LOL. NOW, if you are pre-health and will never see physics again TAKE THIS CLASS sis! That A is going to look delicious in your GPA XD
TAKE Her! You won't regret it, and most importantly, you'll LEARN a lot, and you'll LOVE it. Study the examples in the textbook.
fairly easy class. minimal work. just do hmw and you'll get a 100. first test might be a bit of a surprise but you can always bounce back from it at the end of the semester (she allows you to makeup/retake an exam of your choosing, excluding the final). labs r essentially completion, but still put in work. only use textbook for hmw prob
She is the best professor I have had so far. She is respectful, nice, and friendly. She cares about her students and wants them to pass. You have a few extra credit assignments throughout the semester. She drops the lowest exam grade.
This class is fairly easy bc her tests are 75% from previous hw assignments online. Her accent is hard to understand bc she adds an e before every word. She doesnt help in the labs. She offers extra credit once a unit. **IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO BE CALLED ON TO READ SLIDES CONSTNANTLY, DO NOT TALK TO ANYONE AND KEEP TO YOURSELF FROM THE FIRST DAY.
Professor Razavi is very knowledgeable and caring. His lectures are very clear and engaging, not just reading off of a powerpoint. Clear criteria of what is expected from you.
Great professor. Offers many chances to earn points back on tests and extra credit opportunities. Show up, participate, and pay attention in class and you will do well.
Professor Rojeen is a very difficult professor. She is very smart and knowledgable, but not very good at teaching the material to somebody. If you don't understand a topic, she won't take the time to explain it further. She will refer you to youtube videos or the book. She is also a very tough grader on exams.
I took an online class with her. I think it is a hard subject and you need to spend a lot of time to understand it. She answers any questions you have. Overall, she is a good teacher.
I took a six weeks class with her during the summer. She responds to the emails quickly. I am not good at physics and I was able to manage the course and received a B . I recommend her.
Just dont take as previous rates saying
Professor Razavi was an INCREDIBLE professor to have for physics despite physics being my weakest subject. She gave clear lab deadlines to allow yourself to self-pace well. If you have any questions at all, she would answer you emails back ASAP. I am not a perfect student, yet was able to do well in the class with her resources and guidance.
Razavi is the worst professor I ve ever taken at community college. She literally didn't teach at all during the online class. She puts up youtube videos and expected us to learn from homework and the book. I only got an A because I constantly would ask her about stuff and she would give up and send me the answer or tell me how to do something.
I had her since she teaches at Tarrant County College. Rojeen is Amazing! I made an A even I am not good at physics.
I took her for Physics 1 and she was so clear on what she wanted, & her exams were also the exact questions from her reviews. As long as you do the reviews and remember the formulas you are set and good to go. Physics is definitely one of my bad subjects, but she made it so easy to understand and I loved her class!
She is a great professor.
Total disconnect-Did not learn anything-EXTREMELY HARSH GRADER- Not sure why all the good reviews. Everyone was super stressed out. Absolutely NO instruction. Tests -10 questions, 2 hours. Final was 20 questions, 3 hours. So I need less time to complete the final? Favorite quote: "your data is wrong" ok can you explain? You've been warned.
WORST physics professor I've ever seen, all what she does just reading the power point slides which missing a lot of formulas and solve the easiest questions. you will not understand physics at all with her method of teaching, the homework is really hard and has different ideas. she does not want a lot of students to get A. some in person exams
I had 1401 online with her. It was a great experience for an online course. Nice teacher!
She solves many examples during the lecture and she is a fast responder. Complete the homework assignments and you will do well on the exam.
I had online college physics I with Professor Rojeen. She is very kind and accessible outside the classroom. Homework assignments are through Mastering Physics, exams are similar to the homework assignments. Great Teacher!
She is a wonderful professor! She provided a lot of examples and explained every example throughly. Her labs were easy and understandable! 10/10 recommended.
She goes through all the examples in the textbook, which is really helpful for understanding the material. TThe exams are similar to the homework assignments, making it easier to prepare for them
Razavi's class is very easy to make an A in. The exams are online and open for 2 to 3 days, unlimited attempts on homework, and the labs are very easy. As long as you put in effort then you'll have an A. My only complaint for the class is that its almost only going through examples and the math for physics instead of why or how something works.
Highly recommend this professor! She makes learning enjoyable with short videos and numerous examples. Achieving an A is possible with effort.
If you take this class the self paced option be prepared to have random short videos from youtube to show you how to do a topic. Grades harshly at times, for example gives 0 for one thing being wrong. Her grading dosent ever seem to be consistent from student to student. However, she does give you the option to redo assignments.
I thoroughly enjoyed Professor Razavi's online class. The unlimited time for exams and homework allowed me to work at my own pace, and the virtual labs are easy. The content was presented in an easy-to-understand manner. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a stress-free online learning experience!
I took 1405 online with her. The exams are online and open for 2 to 3 days, unlimited attempts on homework, and the labs are very easy. As long as you put in effort then you'll have an A. I wish there were recorded lectures.
I took Physics 2426 with Professor Rojeen at Collin College. Homework assignments are done through Mastering Physics, and she drops the lowest exam grade and lab grade. She solves examples during the lecture, which is helpful for homework. Definitely recommend!
Deadlines are on Saturdays not Sundays. IN PERSON EXAMS although at the begging of the semester it was stated that they were online. Reviews do not match the material on tests. I would not take an "online lecture" class with in person labs ever again even if it was another teacher, these classes are awful. Does not extend deadlines for any reason.
Exams are similar to the reviews, making preparation straightforward. Labs are manageable and you have unlimited attempts for homework. Overall, a good instructor.
I took a 2425 in-person class with Ms. Razavi at the Brookhaven campus. She promptly responds to emails. Extra Credit points are awarded for solving problems on the board. Labs are straightforward, and exams are similar to the reviews.
The labs are straightforward, and if you follow the instructions, you can earn a good grade. The lecture powerpoints are very helpful, and you have the opportunity to receive extra credit for solving problems on the board. Overall, the instructor is good.
Professor Razavi taught an incredibly interesting subject, yet made it a dread to attend lectures. I cannot understate how boring she would make this class. It almost seemed as if she hated teaching. Besides that if you power through her lecturing she will give the exact questions that will be in the exams and makes it easy to pass the class.
I changed my letter grade from a B to an A by earning extra credit points. It is not an easy course but she made it fun and interesting. Submit the assignments by the due dates and study the exam review.
Overall, a good teacher. Labs are easy and exams are from the reviews.
She is very nice. Exam reviews are helpful. There are 4 exams and she drops one. She also drops the lowest lab grade.
I had a disappointing experience with this professor. During a medical emergency (a leg fracture), she was uncooperative; despite my medical documentation, she wanted me to attend class for an exam, even though the lecture was online. Her response to my email was rude, making an already difficult situation worse.
She is a great professor and always helps if you don't understand a topic. She is super fast at replying to emails. She is the best math and science teacher I have had at Dallas College.
This professor reads straight from the textbook, shows other professors' lectures, and gives reviews with 30 questions whose exams only choose 3 of those questions, with the rest being questions that weren't on the review. Honestly, if you already know calculus-based physics, she's a 5/5. BUT if you're like me and don't, then do not take her.
Great physics professor! She makes tough topics easier by showing real-world videos and solving lots of textbook examples. She's super nice and understanding. After Exam 2, she dropped our lowest exam grade, which was a big help. Highly recommend
I took an 8-week course with this professor, and she was incredibly kind and helpful. She is a fair grader and allows lab resubmissions upon request.
This instructor is amazing! She's helpful, kind, and truly cares about her students. She solves all the textbook examples during the semester and ensures exams are based on the review, making them very manageable. Plus, she drops the lowest exam grade, which is a huge bonus.
She's the nicest science teacher. She is kind, understanding, and always willing to help students. I brought her some chocolate at the end of the semester, and she kindly explained that she wasn't able to accept it.:(
Very good professor
Professor Rojeen is a very supportive and fair physics instructor. The material was explained clearly. The review before exams was very helpful, and the extra credit opportunities gave me the chance to improve my grade from a high B to an A.
I took PHYS 1401 online with this professor and really enjoyed the class. She was very organized, and the way the course was laid out made it easy to follow along. The simulation labs were interactive and fun.
Had an amazing experience with this physics professor! She organized everything really well, made the course super manageable, and was always supportive. I could easily keep up and even had extra time for myself. Definitely a 10/10!
Professor Razavi is one of the best instructors I've had. Their teaching style is clear, organized, and easy to follow. The labs are conducted through MyLab and Mastering, and the setup makes everything very manageable and straightforward.
I took an 8-week physics course with this professor, and it was a great experience. The course was easy to follow and very manageable, even with the shorter term. She was always responsive and quick to answer questions, which made the class stress free. Highly recommend her! I'll definitely take her again for PHYS 1407.
I took physics with this professor, and her exams were very fair and easy to manage. She gives plenty of time to complete them, which really helped me since I usually struggle with time during exams.
she is a good professor.
Best professor for physics.
Easy physics class. Labs are online and fun, and the teacher grades fairly. If you do the work, you'll pass no problem. Exams aren't hard and the class isn't stressful. Definitely recommend it.
Overall, a good teacher.
