He was very clear about how to work problems.If you are a slow learner though, you will find it difficult to keep up. He will teach you the basics as well as the more difficult problems. Study the difficult problems because you will see them on tests.Practice,Practice,Practice assigned homework

is one of the best teachers at SAC i have taken pertty much every class and he is the best math teacher. Very understanding you can always talk to him and ask for help if you need it. i really recommend him.

This guy went out of his way to help me all the time because I suck at math. i was scared of this course and he helped me get a "c" in his class he is a good man and I would take him again for a class.

I think he is a great teacher and he is very helpful. He lets you have cell phones you just have to take the call outside. He'll also let you go to the bathroom...you just walk out and go. He doesn't mind what so ever. He's great.

Very nice and helpful- got an "a" and didn't study 10 hours a day! Would take again!!! Oh, he's hot too!

He is a good instructor and person but you really need to make time for studying. Also, he will have a review of each test the week before and does not collect home work. If you don't drop, you should be able to finish with at least a "c".

He is terrific, will help you if needed. I got a 75 in a test and he let me do extra work to make it to an 85. Thank you

Mr. Trevino is an awesome instructor, I would take any class with him he is very good and has excellent teaching skills I highly recommend everyone that has a math phobia to take classes with Mr. Trevino he is very helpful and has excellent Testing Techniques. For the first time I actually enjoyed Math and had alot of fun in his class.

Trevino is a great professor! i took is 0301 class and absolutely loved it! (and i don't particularily love math so that says alot!) you actually have to do work! but he will go the extra mile to help you as long as you will help yourself as well! i am taking him AGAIN for 0302 so ya! thats gotta say something!!!

Mr. T is on top of his game. He makes class fun with his jokes and wit. Presents objectives well and thoroughly works the examples so you understand the material well. Lots of homework, but if you want to understand math, you need to work problems. Disappointed he's not teaching 303 next semester. Great guy and teacher, keeps you involved.

Highly recommend for anyone who has a math fear. He is an excellent teacher. Cares as long as you put forth effort. Willing to take his time to help you. I would definitely take him again, if possible. Assignments are not easy, & are time consuming, if you do the reviews you should get an A on the test. Lets you know what is expected up front.

Mr. Trevino is the best math professor out there.I went into the class expecting to fail because i am bad at math but i ended up passing with a high A.He makes it easy to understand and teaches only want needs to be learned,and not the other unimportant things.he was always willing to help you before or after class.I highly recommend this professor

I love this professor. I took him years ago and decided to take him for college algebra. It had been 10 years since I took math and I was worried about jumping right into college algebra. It looks like I will get an A. If you do the homework and the exam reviews the class is easy.

Super relaxed prof. (almost too much at times). Passes out notes for every chapter and assignes very little HW. Doesn't take role but don't miss class!! Tests are very detail oriented and 1 mistake will cost you. You must complete several lengthly Excel labs. He will replace your lowest exam grade with your final. Earned an A

I should have taken this teacher this semester, instead i got screwed. I took him last semester and passed with a C. Not my greastest, but I missed a few classes. He works with you and understands you have a life. If you have questions you can see him after class. This teacher is pretty decent. His major is Math, so he knows what hes talking about.

Pros: provides his own lecture guides, covers only what's going to be on the tests, provides test study guides (no need to study beyond that), gives opportunity for extra credit, and he's nice and friendly. Cons: he goes too fast, doesn't forgive small errors (doesn't give partial credit), and releases the class early. (...and he's hot!)

An amazing professor!moves at a fast pace but straight to the point! It is easy info! If you are really bad at math & work at a slow pace dont take his class! he does offer help outside of class! i havent taken a math class in 3 years and i have A in his class! im taking him again next semester! and hes really young & HOTT!

I'm not sure to rate this as easy or not. Took the online class and it's pretty much independent study. I imagine it would be easy for someone who was good at math, if not (like me), it was a total nightmare. Prof was really nice, but didn't respond to emails quickly (normal for online profs). 44 out of 444 total points are A-for effort homework!

his like total awsome i mean he explain it well and then gives you homework so you can go over it !!!! i like him alot !!!

man is he easy!! when he gives you a review do it cause those problems are almost identical to the ones on the test. he explains everything where its easy to understand and to top it off he one of the coolest professors ive had. actually the best thing about his class is that your in there a max of 30 minutes no joke... unless he has a sub!

he's very down to earth

Took online class and it all depends on you. He gives you homework and and you pretty much teach yourself. Homework is for a grade, there are 3 test and a final. Before each test there is a review very similar to the test. Class was very easy, I would highly recommend if you have an understanding of Algebra. VERY EASY!!!

Mr. Trevino understands that not everyone will "get-it" right away. He spends lots of time explaining the short-cuts and HOW to get the answer instead of just working lots of problems. Plus, he pushes that it's important to have a strong study ethics. ie.. "It's your responsibility to practice."

He is the best Math Professor i have came across US...he is awesum...he makes math very Easy n the way he teach that's Awesum...Even a Kid can understand ...u can easily Make Good Grade jus be Regular to the class n do the best in Review n the Test..Hats Off ..u Relle Rock ..!

Needs to make more 'one on one' time, oh yeah he's nice on the eyes too.

I took the online course, it was mostly self taught. He was helpful that he provided exam reviews that were pretty close to the exams.

Okay I disagree.Not arrogant at all.He's gorgeous and is a great professor.I wanted to take him again but his class was full.He is easy to understand,straight to the point and helpful.You always know where you stand.Class review before exam was helpful!He has a great teaching method.You just need to attend class and study!I highly recommend him!

Wonderful instructor! Took him twice his lectures are clear and understandable, which he provides. Basically al you need to do is apply yourslef and go in with an attitude that you WANT to learn.I'd take him again! Oh and yes hes hot!

VERY GOOD TEACHER. And very fair. Just follow his advice and instructions and you will have no trouble in the course. I would recommend him to anyone.

So far so good. This professor seems really nice and gives up very good tips on remembering math rules. I look forward to sitting in his class. I will definitely be returning for future courses.

I've taken professor Trevino for a few math courses at SAC (some in class/some online). He by far is the best math teacher I've had. Just study as instructed and ask for help. He was always willing to help any of those who were struggling.

He is the only math teacher at sac that ever made me understand college algebra. He's super helpful and also ridiculously good looking. Sit up front and pay attention because the work you put in equals the grade you will earn.

He was very informative. Was not demanding, very laid back. Willing to answer questions and explain math problems. I wish I could take all my math courses with him!!

Get the closest seat possible to the front board AND ask for help the VERY moment you stumble upon an issue. Keep open communication & he WILL work with you. So long as he sees you putting real effort into work he won't hesitate to help, in fact he'll happily assist you. Also TAKE pictures of the board with your phone!! He's incredibly BEAUTIFUL!!!

Excellent communications, course was well laid out, and he was very supportive. He is recommended.

Do not buy any textbooks for this class. Trevino is great though as long as you ask for help. Most of his class is on the computer in class, using connectmath. I would take him again if I could.

Algebra was a scary thing for me. He was helpful in class, step by step. Gave us plenty of time to complete assignments. Very clear in everything he taught.

He uses PowerPoint as he lectures which you'll have access to on canvas to look back on. Sometimes he'll write on the board to clarify something. The homework is online and has an option to explain how a problem is done if you get stuck. If you get a problem wrong, it lets you redo it. He is also willing to help.

Professor Trevino is the BEST! he responds to emails quickly and was willing to help when I missed two of my first quizes. He saved my semester! Math is hard OK, but if you do all your homework and follow his instruccions you will be fine.

Prof. Trevino is a good teacher! Has PowerPoint lecture (unusual for math but good change) & in this case, actually helpful! You do need to ask for help. Just like every other teacher, he doesn't ask if anyone has questions, don't be afraid to ask!!! Since I was remedial, the connect math was a bit annoying, but easy. Would take again!

He explains the work but sometimes it's not too clear. He is always willing to answer questions during the lecture if you don't understand a step. Half the class time you can do homework and he is always walking around to make sure if anyone needs help. Has a full homework day before a test just in case you have questions.

Spends first half lecturing and doing examples. Second half is spent doing the homework over what he just covered (if you want to stay and do it). He walks around during that time to give help to anyone that needs it. Everything is done through MyMathLab. There are 6 tests and comprehensive final. The final will replace lowest test grade.

Professor Trevino was a great teacher for this class. He was clear when he lectured, and he provided help when it was needed. We used My Math Lab the entire time, and he provides power points for you to look over. The entire schedule of assignments was listed in the syllabus, so you knew what to expect, and when to expect it.

He's a tough teacher and the information is given very quickly. The program is a $90 online thing, so most of your work is online. However, he explains the information thoroughly, and is always there to help.

Class is set at an even pace and not too much packed in at the end. If you need help ask! He definitely knows his stuff and knows how to help if you aren't getting it. I love math so I enjoyed the quick pace, but I don't think that has anything to do with him; there is a lot to go over. Pay attention, take notes, do hw, and you'll pass for sure.

I took MATH-1324 after already taking 1314 because i didn't have an A in 1314 to get into 1325. He's a great teacher and if you get ahead in his class you wont have to show up, I just sent him emails letting him know I was ahead and finished with the work for the week and I wouldn't have to show up to class. I've gotten 100s on every quiz.

He is an alright teacher. Lectures are powerpoints so that means DOES NOT work through any example on the powerpoint. Have time for homework.

Online course, book included in tuition. No lockdown browser, so you can use notes on quizzes. Final was on campus, allowed an index card of notes so make sure you learn the material. Very approachable. No extra credit, but he did reopen a quiz for me after I had emailed him right away stating my internet went down and it kicked me out. Nice guy.

Trevino as a teacher goes over what you are learning each week in a light and engaging manner. The online book and tools provided are enough to help you figure out anything that didn't sink in when he first explains it. I struggle a lot in this subject but I manage to have a 97 average because I study for hours at a time.

Well i am gonna take him again hea a good math teacher will manner too is a fair fair i dontbknow how fair he can be but he is a fair man. Helps you out and good lectures

Good teacher awesome too

He is a great teacher. Doesn't spend forever talking and lecturing. You can work ahead which I think is very smart and works well with schedules that aren't very flexible. No text books. Lots of people try to kiss his butt but he doesn't soak it up like other professors. I can respect that. Straight to the point. Learn your subject and move on.

If you want a professor who is willing to answer questions and help you with problems one on one during class, he will do that for you. Explains everything throughly and will make sure you are on the right track. He is awesome I would take him for every math Needed. I AM HORRIBLE at math and still managed to pass the class. He is THE MAN ! Love him

It was super hard! The teacher is good, but this stuff is no joke. I am not a math major, but I actually got an overall 100.5%. I say do things step by step. What I did, is did the work I had to then just kind of rushed it to get 100s on hw and quizzes, then when it came to the final exam review, thats what I studied hard core, and passed! goodluck

This class was completed entirely on MY Math Lab. Gives plenty of opportunity to get 100's on both homework and quizzes. The final is at the college and no aids are allowed except non-graphing calculator. I worked really hard in this class as I have not taken a math class in 35 years. I scored a 71 on the final, but overall, I got an "A" .

Professor Trevino is a great professor and his teaching is very helpful. He wont babysit you, nor treat you like a high school student. He thought me how to follow due dates and not procrastinate. I would recommend him if you actually want to learn and pass. I would take him again.

I've taken professor Trevino's class for the second time (diff subject). All assignments, quizzes and final are on MyMathLab. If you put in the work easy 100s on all assignments. He's always willing to help you understand the problem and makes it easy for you to understand. Overall amazing professor and recommend him.

Great math teacher to have for elementary school math, I wish I could have had him for my college algebra this summer. Great Professor answers your questions right away.

I took this class as an 8 week flex course, if you lack some math skills be prepared to put in extra time if you want to pass this class. Motivate your self, do not procrastinate. Take notes as you WILL need them when, takings tests. Professor, responds quickly to any questions or concerns that might arise.

Trevino's teaching is very much follow along, and ask questions after he presents. He is open to any and all math questions, and likes class engagement. All homework, quiz's, and tests are on the Pearson web site. Overall his class is fair, and he is very kind 10/10

Professor Trevino is a very respectful and polite teacher. However, my English was not good, but he was very respectful to me and he never becomes sad when I asked for feedback. The only thing his lecture is not too easy. his classes work for a student who is smart and for a student who can understand and solve the problem by themselves.

Take him! Professor Trevino was a gem. I took him for an 8-week math lab and math course, all of our work was done with Math Connect and if you had any challenges or questions he would respond quickly. Allows you to use your notes for tests/quizzes. He cares about his students and makes sure that you will succeed in his class.

This professor was super amazing! I loved his course. The assignments are pretty great for being elem. algebra; he opens the assignments a week before and allows you a whole week to complete. I loved the class and the mandatory pre-req course and I would highly recommend. The course itself wasn't challenging; if you do the work, you'll pass.

I recommend taking Professor Trevino's class. He's a funny, understanding, and caring man. As long as you attend his class and put in the work, you'll do great.

I took as math 1414. Exams are 45 min long but you have second attempt which is as well 45 min, & you're able view the ones wrong and correct them. Reviews are EXACTLY the same as the exam, he'll go over the exam which you can review yourself on your own time again and again. trust I'm horrible at math if I can do you can as well.

I thought this was easy for a calc class but I thought it was pretty silly to make the final exam proctored when nothing else was. I wouldn't take him again because I'm sure there is a professor out there were you can avoid having to take a proctored test.

I took his class this summer and he was amazing, you get to take the test 2 attempts and he allowed us to use our notes in the tests, the homework was easy thanks to the examples, he recorded his classes in zoom . At the end of the course he gaved us extra credit to those who studied the most hours in aleks.

Professor Trevino has a structured teaching style, but if you engage with it, the class works well. StustuTech and other study tools were lifesavers for acing the assignments and final.

10/10! I would take him for every math class needed! It's clear that he loves math and wants you to understand it on his level. Goes over the material with you, has his own YouTube videos he shares with you, as well as PowerPoints for every lesson. No matter what type of learning style you have, he has something to teach you. No way to fall behind.
