physics is challenging!

Very helpful outside of class.

He is a generous lecturer. He brings the world into a fuller picture for us. His quizzes and tests are understandable and he works for learning not memorizing.

Tough semester with hurricane wilma. Class was interesting.

Taught us how to use star charts well. Enjoyed the planetraium.

I love this class! Professor Branly's real world examples help us understand the hard material in the world of Astronomy. And the jokes help us destress.

Great teacher. He relates everything to the real life, I learned a lot, and enjoyed his jokes.

the craziest man ever...but highly recommended...i also suggest you take this class along with the lab...he's the greatest! make sure he's drinking caffeine and you'll love him even more...i would definitely take him again!

FUNNY, he will make you have a good time! He loves to talk, and talk, and talk. But listen to him, because he knows his stuff, he is very intellingent and approachable! plus his class is super easy.

He is funny as hell! his class is all about the "FUTURE". He is a very easy easy A.

Prof. Branley may not be the best professor but he is by far the most enthusiastic. He makes physics fun and interesting. He has limitless stories about how physics has been useful in his life. He only has two tests in his class, midterm and final. He requires a notebook containing at least 125 problems from the book. I highly recommend him.

Doesn't follow the book exactly in order or content approach, he uses the conceptual approach to teaching and understanding. If you take good notes and do the homework (not level 1 problems), you should do pretty decently. If you really get into the class, you can do very well. Just pay attention to his "serious moments" since that's all his time.

If you have no knowledge of physics whatsoever and intend on learning it, Branley is not the best professor to go about. He is very excited about the topic and sometimes wonders off by telling stories, but in the end your really left to teach yourself using the book. Very easy A, I do recommend him over the other professors.

If you are looking for an easy A, take his class. But if you want to learn physics, choose another professor. He starts teaching you a topic and rambles off on something else for the rest of the class and you never learn a thing.But I have to say his class is interesting.

If you are interested in learning physics Branly is world class teacher. If you pay attention in class, and practice the examples selected from the text it should be an easy A. He is enthusiastic to help those who ask. Don't take his class unless you are prepared to immerse yourself in the material and are disciplined enough to self study.

Good class for professional pilots to take in lieu of a aviation history course. Will be much more beneficial to learn the dynamics of flight through a class room environment with an experienced physics instructor and a licensed pilot. Very helpful with trying to teach the essence of flight.

He is a funny and helpful professor. In class you can ask Professor Rolanda any question. He will answer all your question. Take Professor Rolanda class. I got an A+.

For Astronomy Branly Was the man. What a Very intelligent-unique kind of guy. I was for fortonate to have Branly over the summer but wow i wish the class could have gone on longer. Doesn't have a strict attandence policy like some other professors, Actually showed up 15 mintues late almost every time - loll. EAZY A -No Doubt- Tucch

he is one of the most goofy professor i ever met. He is really easy going and doesn't care about attendence much. He always joke around and make the whole class laugh. However, when it come to talk about any tpye of theorem or kowladge, he is the man!! This guy is genius when it come to physics. i would recommend to people who like have a gud time

If the word "easy" is in the dictionary, this professor's picrture should be placed right next to that word. This professor is very laid back in the class and in the lab and do not even buy the textbook from the crook store, I mean bookstore. If u want an easy grade of A take him. This professor is easy going and extremely goofy. Easy class.

Ok.. had him for summber B. Very cool teacher answers all of your questions but he gets lost alot mainly because he is trying to answer everyone question. Tip is to keep asking him questions he loves that stuff. He doesn't really grade, and the chance of you falling is if you don't come to class. Get to know him, ask questions and you pass

He sucked the life out of every class meeting. He is very nice but his kindness was not enough. I do sympathize that he had two classes that met at the same time but he's boring. He doesn't give hard assignments as long as you turn something in that's all that matters. If you can stand his mundane lectures this class is for you.

AWSOME, you can tell he loves astronomy a very passionate teacher. Easy A, but it was fun. made me more interrested in astronomy. I would recommended him

Awesome guy! Makes class fun. But make sure you learn on your own and create your own "syllabus" to organize yourself. The guy knows his stuff, just make sure you ask questions to keep him on track and to clarify on the HW that you do at home. He'll be happy to help you.

Good outside of class field trips. Good real world examples

Professor Branly is an amazing professor. Gives great real-world examples, encourages you to take the extra mile, and makes class fun and interesting. Always helpful, nice and always has time for his students. I learned a lot taking his class and would encourage anyone else to do so. TAKE HIM!!

This by far was the easiest class to take! He definitely loves what he does, and tries to make his students laugh and make class fun i know i should've probably gotten an f but ended up getting an a!

Branly is an unconventional professor, but a great one. Is always pushing students to think outside the box and presenting unique ideas and assignments. He is enthusiastic about learning, very friendly, and patient. Is always eager to talk to students about education, and is very knowledgable. I would take him again if I could.

He is a great professor and a great human being, very smart man … now if you are the kind of person that cannot teach yourself then you might want to take someone else. He loves space so if you love it too I recommend him … Awesome to talk to … even when you disagree with him … he encourages people to think outside the box

This man is a legend. He is like a character from a movie. You will come to class and get speeches about life and all kinds of crazy mad scientist stories. It's definetly not a class where you will learn physics though but if you're ok with the easiest A possible then take him.

One of the best professors at BC. Very inspirational and made me appreciate physics and science. Learned many interesting physics concepts and did cool hands-on projects in lab class.

Really awesome professor. Encourages to have opinions and builds a great passion for science within his students. Highly encourage to take this class if you would want to get a good grade and learn about science experiments and new tech.

Professor Branly is a very intelligent man and knows about all fields of science and answers all your questions. That being said Branly does get off topic very easily and sometimes you won't learn much in the day. Take him of you want to get an A and have a relaxing time.

The only problem I had was accessing this professor outside of this class. Other than that he is a very fun and loving professor. He talks about all the amazing projects in the science field he has done over the years.

I took him for Physics 1 + Lab in Fall semester, and then Physics 2 + Lab in Spring semester. I do not regret it at all. He is funny and has a lot of personality. His lectures can be very inspiring at times and make you actually have a real interest in science. It's his clever way of teaching science.

He was a great professor but there were also extra curricular projects. If you show up to class and show a real interest, he would let you join in on the Blue Origin project that he worked on. Not sure if he still does it but I regret not joining in on it cause it would look real good on a resume.

Professor Branly is an exceptional person and an inspirational mentor. I would highly recommend his class. He encourages outside of the box thinking and approach. He also correlates the material learned to real life examples. Best choice for Physics in Broward Collage. Take him for Physics 1+2 and the labs if possible.

Best professor at Broward College, if you wan't to pass, TAKE HIM! DO NOT HESITATE! HE IS AMAZING! ALL HIS STUDENTS LOVE HIM. Very inspirational and keeps you awake and entertained. TAKE TAKE TAKE!!

This professor is honestly so nice and very patient with his students. The class was pretty easy, and he seems really passionate on what hes teaching. Would take him again for sure.

Branly is a bad professor to students in the same way a Toyota Corolla is a bad car for a F1 racer. For engineers he isn't good, but for CS students he is a great. He knows 2049 is a stepping stone for CS so ONLY teaches what is relevant. You'll get more anxiety wondering why he hasn't assigned any tests/hw/quizzes 3 months in than by studying.

Professor Branly focuses on teaching the concept and not so much on teaching equations you might forget anyway. His stories are amazing and the class is very entertaining. The mechanical universe videos are amazing!! If you are a physics major maybe you need to practice more problems on your own.

I love his class. Branly is an easy A and I took him for both physics. He does not care about grades rather that you take away a lesson from each class whether its a life lesson or something he talks about. Has a story for every class and is honestly a fun person. You don't really learn physics, but you learn the way physics effect the world.

Professor Branly is not a teacher but an entertainer who's knowledge must be needed. If you let him go, he'll wander off into the stars where his heart truly is. Or slip into his regrets. Don't enroll if struggle is your jouissance. Branly is simply enjoying his time while meeting the class requirements. A fun class if you enjoy talking.

Professor Branly is really one of a kind. He's very passionate and really cares more his students. Plus, this was probably one of the easiest classes I've ever taken, and will be easy to pass for anyone who does struggle in this subject too.
