DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS IF YOU HAVEN'T TAKEN ARCH 10. It is recommended to take Arch 10 before attempting Arch 11. Ro is very supportive and gives good critiques of your work. He's all business but takes the time to get to know his students as well. He's not out to get you he is here to help you if you let him. 10/10 would recommend.

Assignments take a lot of time to complete so make sure you have enough time to sit down and do it or you will fall behind.

This class started lecture heavy and ends with model projects, so expect to be taking a lot of pictures and logs.

TIME MANAGEMENT!! You get what you put into it! if you want a good grade then put in good time. The class experience is what you make it, it can be great fun and you can learn a lot or you can slack off and have a difficult time. Ro will be brutally honest in a good way so if you cant take criticism well then I suggest a different path. I loved it

Ro is very clear about what he expects at the deadlines. He is also very clear and specific when explaining assignments. Its not a lot of homework, but it is time consuming.

As my first architecture class, it was a real good introduction that helps solidify my choice in this major. This professor tells you how it is and has hilarious jokes from time to time (Sound effects are not extra). You have a higher chance of passing if you come into the lab. All the resources and help is here, but you have to put in the effort.

Cares for his students and their career wants them to become successful. Lectures and target deadlines are important because it keeps you on track if you don't show up it gets difficult to stay on track.

This class requires to AutoCAD before! Its so important that you take AutoCAD or else youll be lost! Be sure to give yourself plenty of time to do the assignments! Do not procrastinate or it will show in the grade you receive.

This class was just for credit, however the class Arch70 was a lilchallenging at first but as time went by you get the grove of it. Mr Ro is definitley a great teacher he goes over class notes and explains very well each lecture before any quiz. I can see he loves to draw. Be ready to take plenty of notes., they do come in handy. Great Professor! I feel like that, with every project we did, I learned from the previous one and went into the next one more and more confident. This would not have been possible had Ro not been so helpful with his critiques and consistent with his teaching methods and availability.

As my first official introduction to Architecture, it was good. You can start strong if you follow the steps and put in the work. However, if you don't use your time wisely, it will hit you back twice as hard. (so many sleepless nights -_o)...I learned my lesson. Do your work, take advantage of the open lab hours, and buckle up for this wild ride.

Ro is a good teacher, he's really picky with his drawings, make sure your drawings are perfect, if not then get with ro and ask him if your drawings are in the clear. If you love drawing this is a good course.

Ro is respectful and funny and a good overall teacher! He does have a strong usage of words but overall he is amazing and his teaching capabilities are spectacular! (I should know, I learned so much and I'm younger than most other students!)

Always be present for lectures. Some of the assignments may be a little difficult without the lecture. If you do need to miss the lecture for any reason, he does send out a recorded lecture which is very helpful. Also be sure to give yourself enough time to actually do the assignments. They're not difficult, just time consuming.

Keep organized for this class. Keep all completed homework and lecture notes because it will go into a portfolio at the end of the year. Lectures are long but informative! Do not miss class.

Ro is a good professor and is very helpful, he has a lot of knowledge to share and a good way of sharing it. Also, he is very repetitive. He repeats things a lot, I said that twice. He is very repetitive... I said that three times! That's because it's important.

You should expect to get yourself ready for this class, no one will be doing your work for you so you should be the one to make the time in your schedule to get your assignments done on time the more excuses you make that worse it gets for you so just make sure you get your sh#t in on time.

Clear expectations and guidelines are set at the beginning of the semester. This is not a hard class, but it is time consuming. Show up, do the work, and you will succeed. Ro will throw you off the deep end of the pool, but he will be there to make sure you don't sink.

My professor is interesting to say the least. He has spectacular lecturing capabilities (literally even a highschooler could understand!) He is a very strict grader but he does help you to understand the assignment (AS LONG A YOU ATTEND!) Overall he is a great teacher, strict but great.

Professor Gonzalez shows great passion for architecture. You take a test for each of the different periods of architecture. It is important to study the most famous architects and their architecture and the different styles that were used in architecture since that is basically what the test is.

A very chill professor who will always help when needed

It was my first semester at college of the sequoias after transitioning from high school and Professor Rolando makes that transition a lot easier and makes this class fun with his jokes but it is an Architecture course so it is workload heavy but the lectures given make the process 10x easier. Would recommend this professor for Architect Majors.

As long as you pay close attention to the lectures and assignments, as well as have good time management, there is no reason you shouldn't get an A. The quality of your work also matters. You are getting graded on how good your drawings are instead of testing your memory and such. It is what you make it.

He puts things simple enough to understand and do well in the class as long as you are committed to spend the time on it.

This class can be somewhat tedious and uninspiring. It shares some assignments towards the beginning with other architecture courses. There are a few smaller and more fun projects but the main project involves you tracing over drawings of an already-designed building, which can get boring. You create your ow presentation w/ith the traced drawings.

Attendance matters if you miss one day you can miss an important lecture on the current project. Not a hard class if you pay attention. You will be given instructions, and you must be able to do them.

Easy class with a continuous routine throughout the entire class. Of receiving homework and turning it in on the due date. Invest in drawing pens of different sizes.
