Professor Cech is AWESOME! Taught from the text but we rarely ever used it in class. Very little homework, a few quizzes, two midterms and a final (all online). Very interesting class (especially in today's economic environment) that I really enjoyed. Can't say enough about Prof Cech - take his class(es) if you get an opportunity to!

Take good notes, do the 4 homework assignments and ask for help in or out of class. Do this and you will get an easy A. 2 mids & 1 final all online. Class helps you understand the news. Only complaint is Mid-1 should have been at week 4 not 7. You will not regret taking this class or prereq 2013, unless you are very lazy.

Roman is everything a teacher should be. Not only is he incredibly familiar with economics, but he's a wealth of information on a whole host of other, non related subjects. He's friendly, humorous and takes pride in his work. Excellent at giving lectures. One of the best professors I've ever had. Can't say enough good things about him.

Prof. Cech is a fabulous guy. He is willing to help you and answer any questions. Attend each class, take good notes, and do the exams. This is not the easiest class, but he will help you if you ask. I have taken him for ECO 2013 and ECO 2023. Great personality.

The lectures are vital to the homework, and tests. The homework is not graded, but is for your own benefit. He gives extra credit quizzes, along with two mid-terms and a final, and gives you plenty of time to complete them. Pay attention to the lectures, then read he book, he covers everything, and is very knowledgeable, would recommend!

Take this professor! He is funny, and cares more about the success of his students than any professor I have seen. He will let you take the midterms late if needed, and will go over every answer on the homework with you one-on-one. You MUST do the homework in preparation for the two midterms and final, which are the only grades. & Ask questions!

Cech, is a funny guy and does his best to keep lectures interesting. All the work is online and gives you a week to do, and you can view questions before submitting tests. I recommend working in groups for the tests. Homework is not graded so, has no purpose. easy A with a little effort. I definitely recommend!

We were forced to take his class as a requirement for the Honors Academy. Basically, he talked all class and every class (we met four times), and then asked us to write a one page double spaced paper at the end. The guy is ace in my book.

I have to make 2 ratings because Dr. Cech is that good. He is a very nice guy and his lectures are interesting. He likes to exploit the economic lies you hear on T.V. too. He really likes to teach because I can tell you that he could go work for somebody else at a company if he wanted to and easily get the job.

This is a great prof. I wasn't the least bit interested in Eco, but he made it so interesting. It actually ended up being one of my favorite classes.

HOLY COW. This guy will make you feel like you could take the reins of any country and become a world leader. Economics, philosophy, world history, music, mathematics, stick art: he pulls information from every field and paints a picture of Macroeconomics that a week old baby could understand. The highlight of my Wednesday this semester. Great guy.

The absolute best professor I have ever had. His method of teaching is lecture. He provides all the information you need in PowerPoints on Blackboard. If you can't listen, learn, and ask questions, he is not for you. This is one class where I feel my tuition went to good use.

TAKE THIS CLASS!!! He has the most profound and easily digestible teaching style I have yet encountered. Very intuitive, very interesting. This guy has infinite brilliance, humor, and patience. Aside from that, it is also the easiest A you will ever get. Two ungraded HW's, and 3 online tests which you have a week to take. That's it.

He's a great professor: super easy and actually makes what he's teaching interesting. He doesn't grade homework or has mandatory attendance. He's extremely helpful and willing to answer any of your questions.

I really enjoyed this class and the way Dr. Cech used current events to help us understand the lessons. The work isn't easy, but this isn't high-school! Study, listen, do what's asked and you'll do great.

Take extensive notes, even if he says you don't need to, you'll need good notes to pass exams!!! Homework isn't graded but don't fool yourself into thinking you'll pass the class without knowing how to do what's on the homework! His lectures last the entire class and he gets off topic frequently but they are always very interesting and enjoyable.

Professor Roman is probably one of the best teachers in the history of teachers. Took Eco2013, and Eco2023 8 weeks each. Met twice a week, two midterms and one final, that's it. I learned so much about other topics besides economy is crazy. Take take take!

Best Professor in his field. You listen to him talk, you make notes and take the midterms. Attendance isnt mandatory, but helps when it comes to final grading. 2 midterms and one final. you can print the questions out, work on them and then go back to fill in the answers. He does not have a problem giving you 4% to make your A, if you were in class

Prof. Cech was a good teacher that made Econ easy to understand. Would love to take him during summer but not offering summer Microeconomics.

He is very helpful, he repeats himself but it helps you learn and understand. 2 exams, 1 final exam but the exams are online. Some homework but not graded.

Absolutely loved this professor! His lectures were informative and intriguing, I was engaged the entire 2 1/2 hours. Also, he doesn't drown you in formulas, but when he does go over it, he breaks it down enough to make sense. 2 tests and a final exam (online not taken in class), all of which were multiple choice. Favorite professor so far.

Professor Cech makes his class interesting. He engages students and is open to any comments. He made sure he tied what we learning into our economy right now so I felt like I was actually learning useful information. He does get off topic but everything he says in interesting.

Professor Cech is one of my favorite professors so far in my college career. He is from slovakia so he has an accent that sounds like Gru on Despicable Me. Cech is very accurate with his teachings and shows you current world examples. He is easy to understand and gives you the materials. Show up for class and pay attention and the class is cake.

He is an amazing teacher in that he really knows what he's talking about and he makes sure to apply everything to real-life situations. He is very lecture heavy and the class gets boring, but it's an easy A. The class moves very slowly, your grade will be based off of two midterms and a final, taking him again for eco2023.

Prof Cech offers a very good intro to Economics class. He focuses on the basics, vice just endless formulas. The lecture was simple and easy to follow. Your grade is off two online midterms and a final. Everything you need to pass is in the course materials online. Enthusiastically recommend if you just need it for an elective.

Dr Roman Cech is the best in his field! He's a very generous teacher and gives you the grade you deserved. I would 100% recommend him for anyone who is taking this class. His lectures were fun and he never bored me.

He wants all of his students to pass with good grades! Though there is no powerpoint materials or textbook which makes the class lightly difficult, if you hate economics, take him! Easy A. Going to class benefits you in the long run, but attendance is not graded.

This was a much more enjoyable class than I had imagined economics could be. Professor Cech made macroeconomic policies easier to understand, and added current and historical perspectives for reference. It's clear how much he cares for students and the quality of their education. I would take more of his classes, and would recommend him to others.

Easiest A I've ever received. Only 2 things are graded the whole semester & it's 2 tests. Both taken at home and he encourages students to work together on them. He tends to get off topic during lectures but he tries to make such a boring class somewhat entertaining. Attendance isn't mandatory, he's so laid back.

This IS AN EASY A class

Professor Cech is very funny to listen to during lectures. He makes it easy to learn the material and he only gives to graded assignment: Midterm and Final. He goes over everything needed for them and they are take home with a week to do them. Highly recommend.

This class was a super easy A. Hw isn't graded and you only have the midterm and final. you can tell he loves teaching and really want his students to succeed and understand everything about economics. His lectures are very long and mostly doesn't have much to do with what you actually need to know for the hw but its really good information.

I was so worried about having to take economics because I failed the AP test in high school. But Roman Cech made this class so much fun! It's two online tests, and if you get 80+ then the final is optional. Homework is optional, and no quizzes or papers. His lectures were amazing. I'm staying at FSCJ just so I can take economics II with him.

Homework is just for practice & doesn't have to be turned in; graded only by your exams. Lectures aren't mandatory but if you're close to the next letter grade your attendance will determine if he bumps you. Sometimes goes on a tangent about current politics. Very very easy class if you just want the A take this class. You only have 2 graded assignments and that is your midterm and what he calls a second midterm aka non cumulative final both of these test are take home and multiple choice but not covered in class but easily googled. You have an option to take a cumulative final for a 3rd grade.

His lectures are very eye-opening especially if you don't know much about the economy like I did. After taking his class I feel much more knowledgable about this subject and more aware of whats going on with the world around me. Easy A if you pay attention. Everyone should take his class!

Easiest class I've ever taken! Dr. Cech is so nice and caring. While he does tend to get off topic sometimes, he is a really good professor. Only had 7 home works, aren't required to turn in but they DO matter to pass your midterms. Two midterms, optional final. You do the work, you pass the class. I would take him again if I could, AWESOME!

Prof. Cech is great if you want an easy A! There are 2 midterms and if you do well on them you can waive the final. The final can be taken unlimited times to ensure a passing grade. You don't have to turn in homework, he just wants to ensure you understand it because it will help you on the final. He is lecture heavy, so take notes.

I loved taking Economics with Professor Cech. He's super passionate about what he's teaching and is pretty funny too. There's two midterms that you're graded on and that's pretty much it. There is homework that isn't counted for a grade, but it is worth doing them so you understand the material and are ready for the midterms.

Very entertaining lecturer and encourages participation. Homework isn't graded but it does prepare you for the tests. There are only 2-3 tests which make up 90% of the grade. The tests are pretty easy, you just have to remember some of your basic algebra. Easy class, interesting lectures, great instructor!

Professor Cech is one of my all time favorite Professors. I learned so much with his help. His personal background makes learning fun and easy, his love for the United States makes you, in turn, love the U.S.A. I cannot recommend him enough to all of my friends and colleagues. The professor ties his lectures to today's problems in terms of senators if they are doing a great job or not. Also, he is passionate about the eco subject. I enjoyed his lectures because it made me feel that I want to change the world. There are two exams nothing more. Furthermore, I recommend everyone to take this professor for sure.

None of the homeworks are graded, we only had 7 total in the whole 15 week course, but if you aren't strong in math do the whole thing. Take pictures of the board in class, ask lots of questions, he will go over every step and make sure you know the material.

If you show up its automatically an easy A. Beware! You will have to sit through many lectures that have nothing to do with econ lol. He doesnt actually teach econ formulas or anything, he just talks about econ. You have to go home and teach yourself via the worksheets. Homework isnt mandatory and we only have two exams (with unlimited retakes).

Professor Roman is a very good professor. He cares about his students and really he just talks for the whole class. He is clearly very passionate about what he does but he also takes time to explain the HW's. They are not for a grade and the Midterm is super easy. Beware for the final and DO take notes cause if not you'll fail the "second" midterm.

Yall, for Micro and Macro Economics take HIM! Prof. Cech is the sweetest teacher I have ever met. He has a super inspiring background story. He is so passionate about teaching students economics. He grades based on midterm and Final. Even offers a makeup for the exams. If you come to class or watch his videos explaining HW, then you will pass.

Take notes about the homework and you will pass. Attendance is mandatory to understand the lectures and they are lengthy but passionate. Professor Cech really loves this course and does a great job teaching a difficult subject. I was not looking forward to Economics class but he changed my opinion.

Very easy A. The professor is extremely caring and understanding, a total of two assignments were due for a grade: one with two attempts and the other with unlimited. If you want something laid back to just get your credits done, take this class! However, if you're looking for more of a challenging class I recommend choosing a different professor.

Overall great class. Professor Cech is a great guy, really cares about his students and wants to see everyone succeed. There is little homework and it's not required but I strongly advise that you do it because he will not go into too much detail about the formulas on the homework and the midterms are completely based off of the homework.

AMAZING! Professor Cech is so kind! I loved his class, even though lectures were long they were entertaining and funny. He is such a kind guy and truly cares about his students. Sometimes, it felt like his lectures would go off topic, but somehow it would come full circle... He's brilliant with the lectures!

Definitely take his class. It's an 8am class which sucks because I'm not a morning person but I didn't miss any of his classes. He goes on tangents about things but it makes it more entertaining than just a lecture strictly about economics. He's pretty funny too. Homeworks aren't mandatory & your only grades are the midterm and final. really easy

Dr. Roman Cech was a great professor. The whole class consisted of 2 tests and a few homework assignments which were not graded. the final is optional, and the work is very light. the lectures where interesting and funny, he makes a lot of jokes and interacts with the class pretty often. I totally recommend him.

If you apply yourself even a little bit, you will get an A in this class, lectures are engaging. Ignore the professor aspect of this for a second. Mr. Cech is a special kind of person. Having taken his class I learned more than just economics. I learned what it's like to be around a person who's mastered patience, empathy, and understanding.

Amazing professor, very caring and genuinely nice. His course grade is based off of the Midterm 1 and Midterm 2. Both midterms have more than one attempt and all multiple choice . If you are satisfied after those attempts there is an optional final. Great professor would definitely take his course again.

Professor Cech was an amazing professor! He really was extremely engaging. You can tell he cares about his students and wants them to learn the material. He was very good at explaining it too. He's great! Another review mentioned how he talks about western civilization a lot, but he will always relate it back to the topic of discussion.

I took Prof Cech for both Macro and Micro Econ. One of the best teachers! Two midterms amount to your full grade. Do H.W. to know how to complete midterms. Take lots of notes on the specifics of what is taught, and you will do just great. In-person class is more fun. He teaches based on real personal stories. Sad this is my last class with Prof C.

Honestly, my favorite professor at FSCJ! He's very fun and affable. Made me always want to come to class. Gives a great understanding of the topic and has videos if you don't understand something. Sometimes he can be off-topic, but that just made the class more enjoyable to me. Only 2 exams, both easy. If you have to take Econ, make sure it's him!

He's really funny and shares his life stories in his lectures, making the class/lectures interesting. Very lenient and is willing to further explain anything that is not understood.

His lectures are interesting yet educational. I believe it's hard for teachers to mix the two and he does it so easily. He's effortlessly hilarious and overall a great guy. You're graded on 2 things but there's options for extra credit too if you don't perform well on the midterm or final exam. Just go to class and you're guaranteed to pass!

He has several of his own lectures recorded if you're having trouble understanding the material. He is also willing to go over the work with you during and/or after class. Was very kind to me when I was struggling in his class due to outside issues. Made me interested in studying economics as a major. Genuinely just a good guy. I wish him well.
