Ro was an inspiring teacher. He would always make us leave the classroom hoping that the next class would be sweeter than the last. There are no boring lectures or presentations, but a thrilled speech built with real life experience. We ended the class with a toast for a better future.

If you need to take Learning Framework, take Mr. Castillo! He is very friendly, funny and helpful. He makes the class feel like a family and helps with all of the assignments. He keeps the class fun and I always leave in a good mood. There is an online response post over each chapter due at the end of each week and I always felt prepared for tests.

Prof Castillo is AWESOME! He is always in a great mood and actually cares about his students. I have learned a lot in his class. He comes up with all kinds of activities to keep us paying attention. We laugh all the time bc we are free to give our opinion when we want. He is really GREAT!!

If you have to take this class, take it with him... he makes it as interesting as possible. trust me working and going to school full time can be a hassle and hard to focus but he kept me focused lol. All assignments are easy so its an essay A if you do the work. if you are lazy than I dont recommend, but its college so do what you gotta do.

This class is bs but professor Castillo will make it at least bearable. Very little work and only one project that you pretty much do all in class. Expect to do tons of corny group activities in class and you definitely need the textbook. If you have to take this class i'd recommend professor Castillo.

Ro is a great professor, always in a good mood and passionate about what he does. I was never once bored or overwhelmed in this class and he makes it fun. This is a required class so do yourself a favor and pick him.

In his Fall 2014 class! :) I didn't want to take any class that wasn't required for my degree, but man, it's a real pick me up. Ro has a charming personality and shows up to class with a great sense of humor, showing understanding, kindness, and respect to all serious students. He's goofy, but inspiring. Pick Ro for your teacher, he's worth it.

Professor Ro is very intuitive, he's very clear and understanding and gives great life examples he experienced that relates to the material we were learning. A very sincere and knowledgeable man, who is very generous and appreciates participation from every student at least once.

I love when a professor is passionate of what they teach, it's just so easy and natural, that is exactly professor Ro!! I love the fact that he would always incorporate his personal experiences, he defiantly motivated for the rest of my life! What's waiting at the end is so worth it!

He is very passionate about teaching and even when he told us his personal experiences, its very motivational! He honestly motivated even more to not give up regardless of tough situations! We need more professors like him who care and really enjoy what they do!

If college was a video game, EDUC-1300 would be the tutorial level. You won't learn anything mind-blowingly important, but you will get a good feel for what's expected in college. I highly recommend taking it in the summer right before your first semester starts. Also, Castillo is one of the coolest and easiest teachers you'll ever have!

Professor Ro was awesome! He was very clear and helpful, gave plenty of extra credit opportunities, and was very encouraging. He was also really understanding of the time I had to take off (which was one week). His class was tons of fun! I would recommend him to anyone!

I hated that this class was mandatory. But it actually made my day better . It's a class about learning . Odd I know. But ro is great and lectures are good he gives extra credit always understanding and really makes you think of things. Clear cut instructions . And he's funny on top of that.. I was really bummed that this class was mandatory, but Professor Ro made spending the money on this class worth it. He was really funny and seemed super passionate about what he was teaching. He's not a hard grader and he gives lots of extra credit opportunities. He also seems to really care about his students.

He's great! The lessons are very interesting. You do some partner/group activities, but they're fun, plus you meet new people in class! He has a very nice personality! The quizzes are online & open book. I definitely recommend Professor Ro for EDUC!

He was okay. Nice teacher to everyone, but whenever I would raise my hand or answered a question I was over looked. I even emailed him for help on one of our assignments and received "who is this" and a response, I did provide information as to what class and assignment. But he has a good way of teaching making you engage with one another.

He is a great Instructor. Really cares for his students. I hope to see him around campus through my time at Richland.

Best teacher ever! You should receive a 100 in the course, if you work for it. Chapters are easy to read and only a few pages long. Quizzes are based off the book and you can do extra credit to make up for a missed questions. If you build a connection with him, he will help you out. The class is very engaging.

Professor Ro was a great teacher. I was a bit annoyed at having to take this class because i didn't find it necessary and yet hes still made his lectures interesting and caught my attention. If yo keep up with the books chapter quizzes, one due each Sunday, you'll be fine. I missed quite a few days and was still able to pass with an A.

By far, has been one my favorite professors! At one point during the semester, I was failing another class and one of his learning assignments helped me get back on track and passed that class! You can definitely tell that he loves what he does and cares about his students!!

He is the best teacher I ever mate. He is inspirational and thoughtful. He motivate us to look our future and by offering speaker guests and showing wonderful inspirational videos. He care about student and also love to share his personal and other people's important life experience.

Take this professor if you can! He is very caring for students, funny and easy. There is extra credit! The tests are pretty much easy if you read the chapter few times. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I would highly recommend Prof Ro. I enjoyed it so much that I wish I wouldve waited to take his class during my fall semester instead of Summer being it was soooo short. He is a really caring teacher, he definitely goes out of his way to make sure you understand the material. Also, he gives a lot of extra credit so even if you miss some assignments or attendance, its easily made up. He also gives a lot of snacks! You can tell he truly cares about his students, and is passionate about teaching.

I extremely suggest taking his class he is the BEST professor at Richland I promise that you will not regret it. He cares about all his students and his lectures are soo inspirational, he deserves more. I wish I could have him next semester.

I didnt know what to expect but he shows he cares for everyone and would even bring food sometimes knowing it was early and nobody would eat breakfast. Who does that? I loved him and he gave great advice on school and life in general. I actually enjoyed coming in to see what he had to say for the day. Take him. All the way .

Inspirational professor. He clearly cares a lot about this course. The assignments are easy enough if you take care not to procrastinate. Reading the textbook chapter is crucial if you want to do well on the quizzes.

Very easy small exercises for all assignments. Tests can be found online. Never had to contact the professor. Has alot due all the time, but its not anything that's too time-consuming. Fun assignments. Syllabus gives outlines for exactly how many points for each assignment. Took as a summer class; would recommend as its such an easy class.

The class was fun and easy. He gives you a syllabus at the beginning of the course with exact dates/points available for each assignment. Most of his assignments are unlocked off the bat so you can submit a majority of it quickly, but some you do have to wait for. Just keep an eye on the calendar, have fun with the assignments, and you'll be set.
