Good teacher, sometimes monotonous, class is easy if you pay attention and do the reading. Always open for discussion of topics.
Very nice, and fairly easy. I found him somewhat nervous and unsure, but I think that might be because he was new. Overall, a decent teacher.
Nice man although he is somewhat of a scatterbrain which confusses the class and even himself. The issues are intresting but you must read alot. The course lacks in facts and he likes to preach his opinion.Would not reccomend this yahoo.
He's a good guy that promotes discussion and supports human rights.
one of the smartest and articulate person i have ever met; he has a unique kindness that is interwound with intellegence. lots of reading, but so what, thats why we are in college.
pretty kick back prof. no midterms or finals, all quizes, lowest score gets dropped, hw every week but if you don't do it and u turn in just ur name on it you get some points. (better than nothing) can make up hw too.
Very nice guy. It's a fairly easy class (and numbingly boring at times), although it can get pretty tricky towards the end. Highly recommended.
good teacher,he does a good job at teaching the subject. i enjoyed both of the classes i took with him and highly recomend him.
One of the best professors I have ever had. Extremely intelligent and always approachable during class and office hours. There is a lot of reading required and some selections can be difficult to understand.Make sure to study for the weekly quizzes, they add up in the end.Great prof/interesting class.
Although he knows the material and is somewhat helpful, he makes too many sexual remarks during lecture. There are some things that do not fit into a philosophy class, and some found this annoying and degrading.
he is a good teacher. go to class and do the reading. he has weekly quizes that are kinda tricky but has a grading scale where a C in other classes is a B in his class. on the first day of class hell come in and put his glasses on ans say " we cant do philophy without our philosopy glasses"
This guy talks in circles and goes off on tangents about nothing. He does pace like he is really nervous, it is very distracting. I had to drop the class because he is sooooo BORING!!!
I loved this class. It is not too hard and Mr. Masterson is funny and nice.
very helpful and laid back
this class is so easy and he makes it more entertaining. he loves his subject, and enjoy teaching the material. u only need to read the assigned pages in the book, do one page homework every week, and take ur test. he's always willing to help his students. i recommend him and also the class to the people who hates writing essays in eng 1b. EASY "A"
Cool nerd!
even if you arent interested in phil, persay, it was still pretty interesting and a very attainable "A". 1 part common sensical, 2 parts b.s.! all you really have to do on his test essays is regurgitate (sp) whatever he mentions in class on the subject (it strokes his ego to know u were listening) with a few minor modications. just put it in ur own words. and if u have an opinion be sure to back it up otherwise "fake it til u make it!"
Easy class. I never showed up and still received an A. He lets you make up all of the exams.
he's cool except he is very unorganized and you have to stay on him to make sure your grade wasnt wrong or something. but other than that, he makes the class easy and grades on a curvve so its easier to pass with a good grade. and whoever wrote about the hair... funny funny
Really cool teacher and an easy A just ask questions and he will like you, but he is very unorganized and was late to class everyday!
Very easy class. Not a class you need to worry about. Very light homework, reading the book is not neccessary, and he grades on a curve! Also no final exam. Easy A!
Awesome guy, very helpful. He's pretty laid-back. He will let you retake tests/quizes if you miss them. Sometimes the class is a little confusing, but overall a good teacher.
He is a very nice guy and goes out of his way to make sure his students pass the class. Always helpful. Also personally a very interesting guy. If you don't pass this class, you are sitting on your brains. Has a very goofy sense of humor. I enjoyed him and may take another class from him if time permits.
Enthusiastic, helpful, and enjoyable.
cool.

he's funny.
Awsome teacher! very helpful
He sounds like kermit the frog. He talks a lot so it could get boring. He doesn't give test or quizzes its mostly all papers. It kind of a waste of time. He's really nice though.
Such a random and funny guy. Class got cancelled a few times because of the fires, but we still managed to somewhat stay on track. Class work was kind of repetitive and boring but hey easy grade!
The best teachers i, ever met. i learn a lot with this guy, very intelligent, kind, generus and friendly. if you want to earn A while you learn. he is the best.
He is one of the best teachers at the school period. He works hard to make sure that class is relaxed, fun and fair. Sometimes it seems that his heart is too big and some students take advantage of his late work policy, however if the only criticism I can find is that he is too nice, then you know you should take him any chance you get.
This class is very easy if u just go to class and do the HW. The HW is exactly like the test so its a piece of cake. He is also funny at times but kind of a goof. However, that kept the class interesting. Very helpful if you dont understand the material but does a great job explaining it all in class :) would take him again!
Masterson is such an awesome instructor. very helpful, and funny. i learned a lot in his class. pass this class with an A. as long as you go to class, do your hw and do well on your quizes (he drops lowest grades) and you should be fine. i hight recommend him to anyone who takes this class. i am hopeing to take him again for another class.
Mr. Masterson is a great professor. If he isn't sure about something, he'll admit it. He is open to other people's opinions and even if you are wrong, he won't make you feel stupid. The class is easy. Just do your homework and participate. 2 points for homeworks and 10 points for quizzes. No midterms or finals. I will def take this professor again.
Mr. Masterson was cool as hell! His grading scaled was a student's dream scale. 85 and up is an A, 70 and up is a B, 60 and up is a C. How can it get any easier than that? Only have 6 quizzes, 18 homework, and a few vocab checks. The quizzes are EXACTLY the same as the homework. This class is easy and you will have a great time and learn
I cannot say enough good things about this instructor. He is one of the best teachers ive encountered which at RCC. His teaching methods are crystal clear, he is funny, friendly, and a stand up guy. I would recommend Mr. Masterson to anyone and everyone.
He's a great teacher. He is very flexible, and uses a student friendly grading scale...I would definitely recommend his class.
Awsome teacher, easy, clear, and fair. Do your reading and homework, and it's an easy A. I highly recommend him!
He uses his homework assignments as an example to the actual test. He gives partial credit to some answers on the test so you can't get a really bad grade. Turn in homework assignments and come to class when he goes over the homework. Pretty easy teacher if you just need to get Phil 12 out of the way.
hes a cool teacher..boring at times, but manageable. Says jokes that aren't funny lol. hes cool though HE LOOKS LIKE BOB SAGET!!!!
Easy teacher. But he talks way too much and can be very boring. Even then its pretty easy to follow what's going on. I take naps in his class everyday and I don't have a book; yet I am passing the class with a B! This is a smart choice for an easy class. But beware: he can be PRETTY boring!!!
Professor Masterson is a great teacher. I took him over the Spring and enjoyed his course. He introduces fresh material, and is for the most part interesting. If you desire a good grade do all the assignments, read assigned pages, and take the quizzes. I received an A, and would recommend his class to everyone. Really nice person.
so took this honors class. Not going to lie but I had to work really hard for my A. he is sometimes unclear but he is very nice. You can't lag it in this class if you want an A. and keep on top of the readings!!!
At first this class was a bit frustrating and I thought I would get a B but I ended up getting an A. There are only 3 papers, very few homework assignments and some reading quizzes. Take his Honors course in the Fall. It's worth it; just don't fall behind on your reading and go to class. Participation is ten percent of your grade.
Class wasn't what I expected....did not like the subject but he was nice
Highly recommend him if you are looking for an easy class. He is awesome, and grades on a curve
There's a learning curve to this class. Essays aren't like simple English essays but require you to develop and defend an original idea. Good teacher, goes on tangents sometimes, but is overall helpful, answers questions, and will tell you when you have a good idea. I would recommend making good use of his office hours when writing essays.
Mr. Masterson is a cool teacher. His main problem is staying on task. If you attend most of the classes, complete the quizzes and homework you should do fine. It's helpful to read some of the text to get a better understanding of his lectures.
This was a very interesting class. Professor Masterson is really interested in making you think, and question everything. It was a little difficult to get an a since, the total points for the class were only one hundred.
Masterson is a really nice, calm, interesting character. His course is super easy to receive a B, not so sure how many got an A though. His grading seems wacky. He counts attendance on the days in which you discuss the text. The discussions are supposed to help clear up questions about the text so writing essays and reader responses are easy.
He is a very good professor; he is fair, and he teaches well. his classes are very laid back and fun, but still educational. He will work with you to help you understand something and he's usually reachable during his office hours. overall, I would strongly recommend him, especially for Intro to Philosophy and Philosophy of Art.
Laid back and interesting professor. Do the reading and you will pass the quizzes. Class is pure discussion and the central ideas are brought up, take notes on them for your essays. You must be able to form your own cohesive argument in essays rather than restate the article's. Only 3 essays the entire semester. Fun class.
He's such a great teacher! Unlike a lot of the teacher's I've encountered at RCC, he's more than willing to help the student understand the material. His grading system is very generous and the amount of work is tolerable. I highly recommend taking this class. If I were more interested in Philosophy, I'd take more classes with him.
He is a very intelligent professor and I worked my butt off and I recommend not to miss any days and do all reading and HW. He lags of return emails or corrections on test , but all and all I learned a lot and he is awesome. In the end, I got a B.
He is a professor that cares and want his students to pass and learn something; however, he was not organized and his ideas jumped back and forth. In my experience, it mainly depended on doing good (b grade) on the test and doing all of the homework.
I would strongly recommend this professor to anyone with or without an interest in Philosophy. I took him for Intro to Philosophy, Philosophy of Art, and Critical Thinking. He is passionate about his profession, and it comes across in his teaching. Definitely not the kind of teacher that should be taken for granted at RCC. Do the reading!
He's a great teacher! He's more than willing to help the student understand the material if theres something you dont understand he has office hours to help you. His grading system is very generous and the amount of work is tolerable just make sure to do all the readings. I highly recommend taking this class Hes a fun teacher
Very easy class. I only paid attention half the time and got a B. As long as you do the hw and pay attention to the important parts of the lecture you'll pass. He goes off on tangents and/or stays on the same subject for days. He can talk for hours on end with pausing. So be prepared to be bored out of your mind.
He gave us all of the tools to succed in order to be good critical thinkers. He has total respect for all of his students and has been my favorite teacher at RCC.
He's very unorganized and often late. He made me rewrite an essay because my idea was not "original." A philosopher we had never studied had a similar idea, which according to him, could not be my own.
Professor Masterson is a very nice guy but I did not feel at all challenged in this class. I'm shocked that anyone could get anything other than an A, honestly. He grades on a super easy curve. If you don't mind reading a lot (they are easy) and can write a half decent paper, you'll be good to go.
He was a wonderful professor. I passed the class with an A even though I didn't do a lot of the homework. If you ace all the test you should have no problem passing his class. He is also a bit funny and tries his best to help students.
He is so nice and respectfull to everybody . He is very disorganized, and confused most of the time as well as often late. It can get a little annoying because he often losses control of the class by being too nice. This is an easy class because the homework is just like the test and he is very helpful. If you want an esay going teacher its him!
masterson is the best. hes funny, nice, very helpful, and knowledgeable and passionate about the subject. he grades on a very friendly curve and he always goes out of his way to help you understand the material... do the homework and go to class and you'll be fine. overall probably the best prof. ive had at rcc
I had a great time in his class. As long as you do the work and be there you will do fine. He does explain well so the subject makes sense. Even though he does leave homework, reading, etc. It is great because you get to understand the subject better. It is hard to find good teachers and he is very good, again, as long as you do your part.
A very good teacher who is willing to work with you. Go to class, pay attention, do your work and you should do fine.
Had him for Philosophy of Art and Symbolic Logic. Very easy professor and makes the class fun and exciting. Would definitely recommend him
very easy class.the reading for the homework will put you to sleep but the good news is that he explains all the main ideas right before quizzes/tests.just go to class.can go off on tangents but overall makes the class interesting and tries to get students to think deeply and develop your own ideas.
Took symbolic logic with him and he was great. I breezed through the course, but others struggled. You will need the book. He will drop one of your lowest test scores. You kind of teach yourself because you do the homework and he teaches by going over the homework after you've already completed it.
he is a brilliant open minded person. great for teaching this subject! very helpful & care about his students.
Critical thinking was the most difficult I've taken thus far. He is a really great teacher and forces you to approach material from various viewpoints. I think this class should be taken by ALL students! If you really want to challenge yourself and gain a better perspective on how to interpret the world,TAKE HIS CLASS! GREAT PROFESSOR!!!
Very easy class if you are there for lecture. subject in itself was pretty easy sometimes gets a little bit tedious and tricky but overall was the easiest class I had so far. Plus he is a very great teacher.
Hard to understand processes, good news is he dos the same thing every day so your chances of understanding rise. I got decent fades on my tests because I TRIED, so I recommend filling the page even if you have no clue what you're doing. Nice guy, but he's a poli sci major so lots of political talk
Extremely helpful and approachable. Class is stimulating yet relaxed. I walked away having a great appreciation for philosophy. Always puts his students first and wants everyone to succeed. Do the readings and focus on the three essays and you should be fine. Highly Recommend him.
I love this teacher. His class seems easy because students don't need to memorize anything. Everything is practical, analyzing articles. Very helpful and interactive class. Highly recommend this professor. All professors at RCC should be like him.
This class is easy in the beginning, gets a little more confusing at the end. 85% in this class is an A, tests are a bit tough, but are very similar to the homework assignments. He gives out handouts to the homework, which helps give you an idea of how to do it. Textbook isn't necessary, can get an A without it. Class and material can get dull.
He goes over the homeworks and will do every problem in class if the students need it. He will make sure the exams aren't too hard, and doing the homeworks are perfect preps for the exams.
He goes over the homework and helps during office hours. He can't sometimes be a little confusing because he is nerdy. The tests are similar to the homework and the homework is helpful. He grades on a curve! Take his class. It will be fun.
Masterson was my favorite Professor at RCC. He is careful about teaching in a way helps you learn. He doesn't give busy work. If you want to be a better problem solver, show up and do the homework. Phil 11 and 32 were both awesome. He is also very respectful and professional. Don't expect an easy A, but you can expect to learn.
This class was absolutely boring and he had a quiz every week on hard readings. I would do my readings, but they were still extremely hard to understand, and going to his lecture was also boring and hard to understand... I loved philosophy until I took his class. There are better options out there...
The class/he might not be the most interesting but he is everything you could hope for in a professor. Definitley puts his job first. Grades on a curve (thank god). The work isnt easy but he does explain and is very approachable to ask questions. He understands college students very well.
Great professor.
I took Prof. Masterson for Honors Intro to Philosophy and I am really glad I did. If you have the opportunity, take this class! There are 12 quizzes and 3 essays that make up most of your grade. Writing good essays with ORIGINAL topics is the key to succeeding, as well as reading comprehension for the quizzes. He also has a built-in student curve!
Logic was difficult for most students; can be challenging if you're not already good at puzzles. Basically all puzzles/codes that you solve based off rules given (symbols). HW given and collected; midterm and final. He is nice- very approachable. Class easy if you attend and ask questions, go to office hours. Hard if you want to just get by.
Took it online. Very interesting readings covering many issues in America. Had to buy 6 books but all cheap. 3 Essays all based on readings; discussion posts too based on readings; quizzes. Material interesting, professor helpful, assignments not too hard if started early. He said not doing online anymore but take his class anyways if possible!:)
Mr. Masterson is an amazing professor. Literally just show up, participate some, and do the homework and you will get an "A". He is also very helpful and does tutoring if you need it.
His awesome name says is all.
Mr.Masterson is awesome! the material is boring but tries to make it fun. as long as you try, you'll pass the class. if he knows your name, it means you're doing something right and he likes you.
Class wasn't too hard, try and you will pass, trust me. Material can be interesting, he's overall a cool professor. I actually enjoyed this class. Took it in Spring.
Loved taking his class, it was easy to get involved in the discussions, but his classes get full quick
Try not to take him if you can, not very helpful and his courses are not interesting
He's very specific as to what he wants out of the assignments: he'll murder your papers if you throw them together the night before. Do what he tells you to do. Read ahead of time (VERY dense and difficult readings at times), put work into your essays, and you'll get an A. He's funny, outgoing, and intellectual. highly recommend this class.
BORING! I say this as someone who has taken previous phil classes and enjoys the subject. Students falling asleeep literally every class, prof always late and disorganized, quizzes every day on dense reading, low class participation. On essays, he is unnecessarily critical (and fails to criticize when it's actually appropriate). Not the best prof.
A lot of the concepts that were taught are very do-able, the work is somewhat repetition and each chapter builds on the other. I didn't do to much studying for the quizzes yet I passed with a B. Professor has a curve which is extremely student friendly. He is very helpful and if you study a little bit and read the book you'll be good.
Masterson's phi13 class was pretty easy and yes, sometimes we were all bored to death, but if you participate in the group discussions there are certain topics everyone gets into & it makes for a fun lecture. He does assign papers but if you are a good writer, it's easy to get an A. Loved that there were only quizzes on the reading, no giant tests!
I thought he was a good professor. Met some decent people in the class and the system of logic helped me understand more as a person and see other peoples fallacies in thought and argument. Thought i was failing with a D, took the last test and jumped to an A! whether or not, a good professor and good guy. You never know what hot chicks R in class!
Critical thinking can be tough, but Mr. Masterson helped break it down so it was easier to understand. Homework is important because it's practice for the test and, trust me, you need the practice. He encourages discussion and disagreements to be vocalized to help encourage thought, but never forces opinions. Good experience and good teacher
Professor Masterson was okay. I took him for the honors course. Only had essays. Most did not like him because he would criticize individuals in front of everyone. Only two people had an A/B and everyone else had a C. Just a warning, if you need an A get all the help you can. Visiting him during his office hours helped me pass his class!
There's a lot of reading, so read everything, maybe read it twice. He's open to questions and lectures were awesome. He wants interaction and group participation. Hands down one of my favorite professors, would definitely take his other classes. He usually has office hours open for questions and responds to emails. Would recommend to anyone.
This class was kind of confusing and boring. I have no idea how I passed. Just do the homework and you'll be fine.
Very cool guy; not at all what I expected. There's a quiz everyday and a grand total of three essays throughout the semester so make sure you well-read. The routine goes as follows: discuss the reading, take a quiz, and assemble in a circle to go over and discuss the quiz questions. Fun class, but the subject matter can be a bit dry at times.
This class could get boring at times, but that was more on the lack of student participation in the group circles he does. Only a couple of easy papers to write, and easy 2pt quizzes on the readings of the textbooks. As long as you attend class and manage to do some reading/writing, it's passable. Would recommend!
Homework is exactly what is on the test. Jumps right in to class and discussion. Overall a great professor.
The best critical thinking professor by far. I took this class with the dept head and it was boring and she just went through the motions, kind of mean and aloof as well. Masterson was engaging and interesting and really focused on helping you improve your critical thinking skills instead of just making you 'meet the requirements'. Very smart guy.
Sympathetic to the needs of the class. Goes over the material after each daily quiz on the readings. Discussions every day. Very chill class, just do your work and read the material. Interesting, enjoyable and even kind of fun.
Favorite professor of all time. Took 13, 10, and 32. Lots of reading. 10 was dry and boring, but I loved 13. He lets you write about (almost) anything in your essays so you can write about things YOU like, and he's open to helping you. If you're struggling he's available. Responds to emails. Kinda silly but entertaining. Wish I could take more.
Hes a good professor but I personally found his lectures boring most of the time. He claims you will need the book but you really don't. Just do your homework and try to pay attention. Get ready to read a lot of uniteresting articles. He grades very generously and tries to understand where you got your answer from on tests. Overall ok class.
Mr. Masterson means well, but he is so highly educated, and he forgets that most of us at RCC aren't able to grasp what he's trying to teach. Long lectures and readings, filled with words that are too advanced to comprehend. Along with pop quizzes on eveything. Hardest class that I've ever taken, and I'm in honors.
There are 100 points total in this course. Each test (there are 4) is worth 20. There is homework assigned/due every day and the lecture is basically just going over the homework problems. You learn through the readings. The professor goes off-topic sometimes. The subject matter is interesting and different than anything else.
Great professor! There's homework due every lecture day therefore attendance is important so you can get full credit on it. The homework is exactly like the test. Be prepared to read a lot of articles. The book helps if you're confused. Overall the class isn't that hard, just make sure to do the homework and ask questions.
Okay so this was one of the greatest teachers ever. He actually cares about how you're doing and how the class is doing and will help students if they need it. He will modify quizzes depending on how the class is doing. But in PHI 32 grades and understanding of material where all over the place. If you're good at puzzles this is the class for you!
He's very into logic and makes it interesting. Sometimes he goes on tangents but is quick to refocus on class. He's a caring, thoughtful professor and wants everybody to do well. He'll adjust the material according to the entire class' needs! Do the reading and homework! The material is challenging but you'll pass if you put time and effort.
Excellent professor. Has no concern for necessity. His lenient attitude allows for extremely late papers. Lot's of Socratic discussions. Should be nothing new for you.
Easy class, but do not recommend if you are not interested in art or do not consider yourself artistic. Mainly graded on reading quizzes with three major papers. No midterms or finals. The reading can be difficult to understand, seems like graduate school level. Sucks at responding to emails
Hes very nice and has a fair grading scale
Hes an awesome professor . He tries to help everyone as much as he can. Gets distracted easily but picks up quick. He requires a book but If you dont have it he has extra older books you can borrow.
Very unique human being. Signed up to fulfill required units, didn't want the standard critical thinking so I took the symbolic logic class. Could have been extremely boring and difficult content but professor was engaging, personable, caring, helpful, a great storyteller and had me cracking up during every class. Take if given the chance to.
I love Mr. Masterson because hes caring and will help you through class even if youre struggling. I recommend for Critical Thinking.
The critical thinking professor devoid of critical thinking. Showed up to class (including Zoom meetings) 10-15 minutes late. Students would ask questions and hed go off on a tangent never actually answering it. Criteria was unclear and especially confusing because he did not agree with the authors (of the required textbook) methods.
I took this class at the start of COVID. Masterson is a great professor in person, not so much online. If you can take in person, do it, it's an easy A. You read a few articles a week and turn in it the next class period. When we went online though, he was very disorganized and it was hard to keep track of the class. He was nice & understanding tho
I highly recommend taking his class in person. I took his class right when we made the transition to online classes (due to covid), and he is COMPLETELY unorganized. Of course homework is assigned and due every day we have lecture (which is manageable) but its the random assignments THE DAY OFF that got on my nerves. Often times right before due.
I'm sure he's a great teacher in person, but due to COVID I took him online and it was horrible. He wrote his own textbook and provides it for free, which is nice. But he's unclear about the material, doesn't provide feedback on homework/tests, and many meetings were canceled so I was left pretty confused and just ended up taking a W.
As many have said, maybe great in person? Online, this is a nightmare. He is so disorganized in lecture and late every day. Creates and assigns homework twice a week that he acknowledges takes him HOURS to complete and takes weeks to grade it. Also, he is writing his own textbook. We are so behind he cancelled veterans holiday @11pm night before.
I would never take him again. the reading sucks you cant find summaries online about them except for 1 which is about plays. The papers u write have to reflect from the book and i nvr could get it to reflect because the reading made no sense Go to class for all of the quizzes he gives 1 extra point U WILL NEED THAT EXTRA POINT. nvr replies to email
Very difficult to understand him. Goes on many tangents. You definitely need to read the book to understand the concepts. I've never experienced a passive aggressive teacher until this professor. His syllabus is his bible. However his class was fairly easy if you really read the book. He was cool until he displayed passive aggressiveness.
From other comments, many have said he is a great professor during in person teaching which may be the case, but dont ever take his class online, he takes weeks to grade homework, the tests are not formatted in a way to understand, he publishes homework and makes it due that same day. Although his readings were easy to understand.
I took Mx Mastersons class during covid and while they struggled with technology, they were also very understanding of students have the same issue. Material was easy to understand, lectures could be a little ranty but you get the material needed. Graded on a heavy curve which helps. I definitely plan to take this professor during in person.
Mx Masterson is eccentric but also very helpful and knowledgeable. Took during covid and while they did struggle with online, they managed well and taught the material. Was late releasing assignments but always changed due dates to reflect that. Graded on a curve. Would definitely take again
YIKES!He would give hw late bc of own fault n not change duedate the work wasnt bad but i dont like working v rushed when i didnt plan too. hes very rude n paints himself as a nice guy which makes this class very painful, hed use slurs n get angry if any1 corrected him, also if ur 20 mins late he belittles u n has everyone ignore u, very sad to see
You have HW due every class but would often take A DAY AND A HALF to post it... I'm not kidding he several times would post it hours before they were due and would get very hostile about late work ... he's extremely not self aware which makes it very difficult to take this class if u can handle the unprofessionalism its an easy A but id say dont!
They assigned quite a bit of hw, but it was easy and it prepares you for the tests and quizzes well. The only problem is that you will have to teach yourself because their lectures are rambling, tangent heavy, and borderline nonsensical. They seem like a fine person but they totally lack social skills which makes it very hard to communicate.
Masterson is a professor unlike any other. They truly care for their students and want students to prosper and engage in their class. As someone who has a learning disability, it was refreshing to have a professor be so accommodating and understanding.
I truly enjoyed this course. It was challenging in a good way and I learned a lot.
honestly the course wasn't bad, I learned a lot about philosophy, I just didn't enjoy how disorganized the prof is + they never seemed fully prepared for class which can feel discouraging as the student. our last class of the semester they were 30+ minutes late because they fell asleep in their office, just unprofessional
Amazing teacher!
This professor has a unique teaching style, but if you engage with it, the class can be rewarding. The workload is manageable, and unstuck study proved helpful for exam prep alongside the textbook.
The most pretentious, chaotic, and unorganized professor I've ever taken. I was so excited to take a philosophy class but the way they ran the class was discouraging: always late to lectures, unorganized, lectures were incoherent, constant irrelevant story times, i.e. family history. I would not recommend this professors.
