AWESOME teacher!! I highly recommend taking his class. Clear PowerPoints, very funny, and extremely likable! What I learned from his class, I apply in almost all my other classes. I feel very lucky to of had him.

Dr. E is an excellent teacher. His sense of humor makes the class interesting and makes you want to pay attention. I would recommend him whether you are interested in psychology or not! His tests are multiple choice and fairly easy, if you put in a little studying time. Well worth it, I learned so much!

great attitude toward everything. He talked about miley cyrus a lot and her vma performance plus her twerking. His exams are easy just study your notes and remember his examples he gives you because that's how the test are. Make sure you print off notes from blackboard before coming to class.

Dr E is wonderful! Very clear, with great examples! Attendance is highly recommended because he only supplies partial notes on blackboard, you need to attend to get the relevant information. He cares a great deal for his students and tried his hardest to make sure every student passes! He is great, funny, and enthusiastic about psychology!

Coming from an engineering major, I wasn't expecting to get too much out of this class but I was very wrong. Ron makes the class very enjoyable and goes over absolutely everything that will be on the exams. Make sure to attend class or you will miss out on a lot of the notes. As long as you do that, you will do perfectly fine with the class.

I think I got almost a 100 in his class and never read the book. His notes are detailed and all online, but you have to go to class to fill in some blanks. He's VERY good at examples and analogies. Great teacher in general.

Hands down favorite professor ever! He makes the class so interesting and he gives a lot of good analogies to help you relate and understand everything. He is just an amazing professor. He respects his students, and honestly seems like he loves his job. He put the notes online, tells you what specifically to write down, has minimal homework assignments, and gives at least 30 points of extra credit, which is almost as much as an exam!!!

By far the best professor at Columbus State. He was AMAZING! he makes class fun and enjoyable. Study for the tests and keep your notes organized and you should be fine. Very generous with extra credit. All students respect him. I strongly encourage all to take this class, he was awesome!

I highly recommend you to Dr. E class. His lecture was so interesting and so much fun and clearly. He used a lot example to help in his lecture which made it easy to understand. If you come to lecture, you will never fail this class. I used to hate psychology, but Dr. E has changed my thought. I love it now!!!

Knows his stuff and definitely wants students to succeed. Well-organized lectures, and he gives you access to notes ahead of time, but if you miss more than one or two classes, you might have a hard time passing. Tests are broken down into smallish sections, but the final is cumulative.

I loved this class! The expectations and grading are clear from the beginning and he is great at explaining the material. Very willing to help with deciding majors/jobs involving psych. He really seems like he wants his students to do well. I would recommend this class to anyone looking for an intro to psych.

This class would be fine, but go to class and read the book. Even though it is a "theory" class, it is testing how well you remember the different theories he discusses, not forming your own. Lots of "which psychologist believed this" questions. He does provide extra credit opportunites, enough to save a high B to a low A.

Dr. Elizaga is one of the top ten professors at Columbus State. I would highly recommend his class to anyone. He is very organized and his lectures are excellent. Make sure you study for the test and use his notes from class. While the I would not classify the class as easy, it was very informative and taught well. Thanks Dr. E for what you do.

To pass his class you must attend all of his lectures. All of his test questions come from his lecture notes and personal things he adds when he lectures. Be sure to take good notes. U really don't need a textbook for this class, but to complete learn smart assignments u do need it. The good news is that learn smart provides u with an e-copy of it.

Would recommend buying the online textbook for this class, online homework links to website. Going to class is certainly worth while. Skeleton notes, fantastic examples. Five exams, one final, some extra credit. Overall really fun class.

Elizaga was super engaging. I would definitely recommend taking his class. Basically, if you show up for class and study for his exams, you'll easily pass! He loves what he does and he actually cares about his students learning.

Elizaga is an amazing professor. He cares a lot about his students & wants them to pass. Show up to his class though because his lectures includes slides that you have to fill in the blanks and his exams are based on the slides.

Dr. E is a awesome guy. His lectures are clear and to the point with great examples. His class is an easy A if you show up and take notes on the slides. His exams are really easy with 30 minutes of studying 2 or 3 days before the exam. Take this class!

Dr. E is my FAVORITE. I took this class during my first semester of college, and I wish every class was as interesting as he makes his class. He is extremely helpful and gives funny/cool ways to remember specific information. His tests are moderately difficult, but if you attend class and engage yourself, you'll do just fine.

I did not do well in psy, and not becuase of mr elizaga but because it just was not my thing. however, he really tries to get the students to understand and will help the students as long as you show you are putting effort into the class. Towards the end of the semester i did pass but not with the grade i desired. overall great professor.

I took Dr. Elizaga's honors version of the Intro to Psych class. Dr. E was very loved by the class and made lectures interesting. He made sure the material was constantly repeated and crammed into your head while you were in class. Exams were very easy as he is very clear on what you should expect. I very much enjoyed his class.

Dr. Elizaga was the BEST PROFESSOR I have ever had. I enjoyed his class so much I actually switched my major from Biology to Psychology and could not be happier. Tests are 50 multiple choice and the final is 100 multiple choice. He really helps you understand the information and really wants you to do well. I would recommend to anybody!!!

Show up, take notes & you're good. He issues fill-in-the-blank notes that you use to study for the exam. Use the book for the homework. There is also EC. He's very nice & clear, but engages in racial politics. He's overly liberal, though he thinks he hides it very well. I'd still take him again, as he's a great guy, despite our differences.

The online version has changed from the other reviews. There are slides and study guides. I read the book, used the book for discussions, and any info that I couldn't find on the slides I found in the book. The guides and quizzes prepare you for exams. If you know that study guide, you will do great on the exams. I'd recommend this to everyone!

Very clear grading criteria. Just read what you are supposed to and study a little and you will do great. Taking the online class and the calendar is very clear and easy to follow. def recommend!!

He is honestly one of the best teachers I've ever had. He has printable notes, and the exams follow all of the information from them. All you have to do is fill in the blanks. He sincerely makes the class very entertaining and super easy to understand. He is always willing to explain things multiple times. Take him if you have the chance!

Every week is for one chapter to read in the textbook, and it's not a lot at all. There are 4 exams total and for each exam, he gives an extra credit opportunity. For each exam, there is a study guide that goes over everything on the exam. Complete the weekly homework, read the textbook, and use the study guides and the class should be an easy A.

Dr. Elizagas social psychology class was lecture heavy and organized. There weren't many assignments and they weren't hard. Tests were easy just make sure to study. This class was a great class to take during the pandemic, it was asynchronous and kept you busy. Highly recommend this class!

I take two of their classes online and it’s been a breeze. We’re all given a schedule at the beginning and everything graded is listed, it’s very helpful. There’s not an overwhelming amount of assignments/test either. It’s been a great class to take!

Professor Elizaga is an excellent professor. He is very passionate about his knowledge of Social Psychology. He is very organized. Exams are fairly easy, as long as you pay attention the the lectures and study regularly.

I've had him twice and both times the class was presented in a very go at your own pace sort of way. You essentially read and then take quizzes on what you read. Take notes if you need to and you'll be fine. I love this style of teaching and would take him again in a heartbeat.

Dr. Elizaga was my favorite teacher during my entire first semester. He was very organized, supportive towards college freshmen, and gave tips for success in college. His class involved a lot of presentations, and for the remaining presentations that he couldn't cover in class, he would send video lectures or notes as they would be on tests.

He was great! The content on the test was no surprise if you attended lecture. He had PowerPoints that you can print out and fill out during lecture, which was very nice for me and helped me organize content. I think that test questions were pulled from that. Tests were not hard if you attend lecture. He explained concepts clearly with examples.

Elizaga was by far my favorite psychology professor. He gives notes with blanks that you can only get by being present in class or from other classmates present. Attendance is mandatory in the sense of the notes and he gives better descriptions and phrasing than the notes do. There are book assignments, that took me a lonngg time to complete.

If you have any psychology courses, I recommend taking a much online class from him for your program. He provided extra credit and could round up your grade if it's a particular percentage. If you want a good pace class and need some credits for your credits, then recommend taking any of his classes.

I had one issue, a grade I thought was wrong, he fixed it so fast and was so nice about it too! I highly recommend this professor, and I even enrolled in another class of his!

Great class, especially for online. It was well organized and very clear. He communicated quickly and was understanding if there were issues. This was by far my favorite class this semester. He provides plenty of tools for people to learn the lesson, including podcasts, videos, flash cards, and power points to go along with the required reading.

The only reason I got a low grade in the class was because of procrastination. The assignments aren't challenging, but still make you think and, in my opinion, the textbook is very clear. He lays out every due date at the beginning of the course and doesn't offer makeups, however, there are extra credit opportunities.

My psychology instructor was easygoing, supportive, and very understanding. He helped me stay on track with my accommodations and always made sure I felt included and capable. His approachable style made the course much more manageable and stress-free. Highly recommend!
