He is very funny, smart, and is an excellent teacher. Very friendly and willing to help.
Great teacher, make sure you ask him to do his Grover impression for a good laugh.
Never met a more passionate man about such a topic! He loves what he teaches and it shows! Although it is a difficult class, Brother Nate makes the class fun and exciting. He teaches the material and makes it possible to excell in his class.
super
Hands down, He is one of the best teachers in the business department. He teaches very clearly, has interesting games that he plays in class and makes you laugh. Highly recommended you take one of his classes.
Like everyone else said, he's a great teacher. Classes are very organized and clear.
EASILY the best Economics teacher! If you want to know your stuff, take Bro. Nate! He is very easy to follow and will prepare you for every question on his tests. I've had other econ teachers before him, now i won't take an econ class that is not taught by him, period.
If you are taking an econ class at BYU-I take it from Ronald Nate if at all possible. I have taken several econ classes, and i think that he is by far the best. He makes learning the material so easy - he really simplifies the concepts and coomunicates them very clearly. The man is also hilarious - Did you know that he used to be a D.J.?
I have hated economics ever since I can remember, but after Brother Nates class, I actually really like economics now. He is by far the best teacher I've had in all 4 years of being here. He's prepared, funny, and unlike most teachers he learns each students name. He even takes the time to pass out homework and tests one by one.
he's my fav!
I don't like econ at all, but Bro. Nate made it ok. Great teacher!!
There are two teachers I have absolutely loved in this school and he is one of them! He's the best! If you are wondering if you should take him out of any other teachers I would take him. He explains everything really well and as long as you scan through you're notes you'll do fine on quizzes.
If you like lectures, Bro. Nate is the man! Hardly ever used book. I learn best from lectures and got 95+ in the class. If you like book work this is not the class for you. Economics is hard no matter what teacher you have if you have no previous exsperince but the lecture format he uses made sense to me!

He is a nice guy, but his class is not interesting and pretty boring. He loses all control of the class and it seems like he has no real world experience. It seems like he only went to school to study Economics, and so if you are looking for a class to learn how the world works, i would take it from someone else.(WEBB is the best)
He is a great teacher, he takes his time to answer questions. He also has fun activities in class to help you understand what it is that he is teaching. He can take most anything difficult and make it easy to understand. My problem is the subject matter. Learn the terms and have them memorized, and you should be fine.
This Guy is the best. Bro. Nate brings so much fun into economics. He teaches you the textbook in class and the weekly quizzes help you to be your best. The best Econ teacher around.
One of the most challenging teachers out there. He made sure you knew the material he was teaching. Very funny and very entertaining. I recommend him if you are at all interested in pursuing any type of degree in economics.
He opened my eyes to the world of economics. I felt as if the lessons were perfectly customed to myself and my needs. he is hilarious and an amazing econ professor!
Bro. Nate is the best professor I have EVER had. I have taken him for both ECON 111 and 112. He brings economics to life with in class activities and real life examples. He makes this subject SO interesting. I wouldn't take econ from anyone else if I could help it.
He is the best Econ teacher ever! He is very funny, always cracking jokes and singing songs, but is very helpful when it comes to the material. He really brings it to life and helps you understand the concepts and principles in a real life setting. There are quizzes every week, but if you read and go to class, you should do fine. Awesome Teacher
Ron Nate the best college teacher i have ever had. I took this class from another teacher, hated economics and almost failed, and im retaking it with Brother Nate and i have an A+ and I love the class. You learn so much because he is such a gifted and funny teacher. He doesnt require attendance, but you will want to go because you learn so much.
Such a great guy. His teaching style makes it very easy to learn. Only take econ from him!
He is the easiest teacher ever! If your looking for an easy A then he is the teacher to take!
A really fun teacher, applies Economics to everyday activities well. Tests are average difficulty, you will need to study. He has weekly quizzes, and homework only once a week on average. Aplia (the hw website) is a pretty good resource- and fairly easy.
Nate is the man. He's a great teacher with real life application. Econ 315 is a tough class but he makes it worth it. Good sense of humor and a great understanding of economics. I'd take him for any class.
Funny guy! I always had fun coming to his class. He's an excellent teacher, whether you are an econ major or a business major. You learn a lot, while still having fun. Although, be careful: if you like more serious classes, don't take him. Usually, all the goof-offs take his class because they've heard that he is easy.
Great teacher, knows everything about economics, very funny but helpful. Very clear explanations. One of the best teachers I had so far!!!
Boom! roasted
Best teacher! If you want to take econ, or have to take econ, make sure Bro. Nate is your professor!! BOOM! Roasted!
Brother Nate is where is's at when It comes to economics! Very clear, proficient, and concise. He is able make economics enjoyable for anyone!
Hilarious , clear and very helpful ....one of the best I've had
Average teacher, doesn't want to help to much outside of class.
Brother Nate has a very clear teaching style and will answer questions you have. Assignments are due regularly and according to the syllabus. You won't fall asleep in this class!
Bro Nate is probably the best teacher I have had at BYUI. He makes class fun and really a great teacher. is more than fair on assignments and tests are pretty much your quizzes which he hands back to use to study. My advice is if his class is full then to wait a semester to take it from him...he's that good.
Bro. Nate made economics fascinating. One of the best teachers I have ever had. He knows economics like the back of his hand and he really helps you develop an appreciation for the subject. The Bill O'Reilly of economics. BOOM roasted.
Bro. Nate is great! He is super funny, know his stuff, and knows how to teach it. Also a very organized class.
Brother Nate is AWESOME! I had absolutely no interest in this class before. I just took it to get it over with. Brother Nate teaches in a way that makes you laugh and want to learn. He has journals each day. Fill them out and you will do fine. I loved the material he used to teach. You will like him too. TAKE HIM!
I had Brother Nate for American Foundations. He has a couple fun activities throughout the semester that keep students interested but seems negligent to he fact that students have other classes, other than his. He assigns ridiculous amounts of reading every class, and even if I wanted to read all 60+ pages, I couldn't! I have other classes too.
He is a really funny guy and great teacher. Teaches in a way that is engaging and you still are able to learn a lot during the lessons. Not too many assignments or work load.
He is a great teacher that uses the assigned readings in class and show how they relate. The tests are easy as long as you always to the take home quizzes. I would take him again.
Even with a therapist's note and mental heath problems, he refused to explain an essay for me or give me so much as an hour's extra time. he was very cruel and unhelpful about the whole thing. his in class explanations are good, but he often goes off on tangents and is not a good teacher for new students.
If you need an unhelpful and mean teacher, go for him!
Awesome teacher and entertaining. Willing to explain in as many ways or times as necessary. Is reasonable with coursework and due dates. Best test grader! Very knowledgeable and amazing teacher!
I loved Bro. Nate, he is fun and makes fun class (and that says a lot!). His tests are fair, very good grader. I never had to see him outside of class, so I don't know how helpful he is there. He is always friendly though. Only minus: goes off on tangents.
Bro. Nate is an AWESOME professor!! Econ has been a hard subject for me and he explained it so well!! Take econ 150 with him! He is hilarious, he probably knows more pop culture than me. He makes class interesting and enjoyable!
I was so lucky to get Brother Nate as my professor!! I was laughing every single class and I looked forward to coming!! He is hilarious and he made it easy to pay attention! For me, his tests were easy as long as you pay attention. A lot of the questions come from quizzes. He explains well and uses fun activities to teach. I highly recommend him!
He's the best Econ teacher! He's way funny and gets to know everyone. There's no way I would have passed Econ without him. BOOM! Roasted
Bro. Nate's the best! He's very nice, and makes class interesting. There's a journal you write in everyday, quizzes once a week, and a writing project at the end of the semester, but that's it. Easy A! Definitely recommend.
Super fun teacher! Is really funny and loves to teach! You have 1 take home quiz a week. The test questions are all from the quizzes which make it easy to study. And then you have a journal question you have to answer every day, and an 8-10 page paper. That's all you have to do. Favorite class and teacher. Got an A.
I loved this class! Brother Nate has a great sense of humor and really tries to get to know and connect with students. The homework wasn't bad, just some readings and a take home quiz every week or so. The tests weren't bad either, most of the questions come off of the quizzes and he gives you a study guide too. I highly recommend him!
Best teacher on campus very light hearted helps you when you go to his office he teaches hard classes but makes them a lot easier than they could be. If you talk to him he will give you points back on tests
Brother Nate is an excellent teacher. He is able to keep my attention in classes and makes it enjoyable. He does well at explaining math concepts and will work through problems with you, but doesn't give you answers before you figure them out (go figure). I failed the first time recommend using the tutor and visiting him for any questions you have.
Brother Nate is an excellent professor! His lectures are long, but he makes them interesting. He is always cracking jokes and being silly and makes what he's teaching fun. However, his class is difficult. There is a TON of reading, and readiness assessments over the readings that dropped my grade. His tests are difficult and difficult to study for.
Ron Nate is a pretty cool guy. He is very knowledgeable and likes what he does. He has a dry sense of humor, and is a laid back teacher. He assigns lots of readings, but almost all of his test questions come from the quizzes. I think he is a very fair grader and he is rational. Really liked him as a teacher.
Brother Nate was an excellent teacher, and his class is easy! You get to decide how your grade gets broken up for the semester which is nice, (we made our final only 7% of our grade). He's always willing to answer any questions, and is really fun. Kind of a boring class, but if you do well with your group its an easy A for sure.
The class was fine. I had a C- in the class all semester, but THANKFULLY at the end of the semester we had a self evaluation and my only some of my group showed up so we got their points. I ended up with a 97% in the class but only because of the self evaluation. Without that i would have been screwed on the final (45%) Just hope your group is lazy
My favorite professor of all time. He is amazing!!
Did you know - did you know - did you know? To character Brother Nate I would say he's a cross between Marty McFly and Doc. He's a fun guy, very enthusiastic and knows his material, but eccentric at times. He tends to move quickly, but is effective at teaching and does go the extra mile for students. Not easy though, you work hard. Prank him.
SO FUNNY! He makes class worth going to. He's tests aren't easy, and you have to study, but its totally worth it. I laughed the whole time and learned SO much. Take him!
He really is the best professor you will ever have in college. He connects to the real world and keeps it interesting, simple, and fun. I wouldn't ever want to miss one of his lectures and i'm not even a big fan of economics.
Brother Nate is my favorite professor so far. It was the only class I never skipped because I enjoyed going to his class so much. He made Econ interesting and engaging. He cares and knows what he is talking about. A lot of the quizzes are done in groups. If you're taking this class take it from him. FYI he doesn't teach winter semester.
Tough class and quizzes. Professor is too biased for this course.
He is SOO funny! He is alway making jokes everyday that keeps us on the same page as him. He is so helpful and makes sure you don't fall behind. He is the only reason I would want to study Economics. If you take Econ anything, you NEED him!
Kind, will work with you in his office, and does NOT make Econ boring like some professors! He is hilarious and makes Econ very clear.
This class is very difficult, but if you put the time into it, you should pass. My advice? Practice EVERY day and don't be afraid to ask Br. Nate for help. He is super funny and tries to make being in class fun, since the subject is hard. The tests are SUPER tough, be prepared. Personally, retaking with Sis. Martin to get a better grade.
Bro. Nate is a fantastic man and professor! He makes every class worth the time and energy you put in. Never leave a class with out laughing. Very kind and willing to help. Great sense of humor. Take this class from him!
My favorite professor of all time.
Bro. Nate is a great teacher. My favorite part about his class was how detailed his drawings/graphs were for economics. If you took quality notes in class and studied the quizzes he gave, you'd do great on the tests. He makes sure that you have all the resources you need to pass. Lively, fun, and not boring. Participation happens. Great teacher.
Brother Nate is AMAZING (I gave him a chili pepper only because he complains about not having one in class all the time.) Not only i he hilarious and makes class really fun, he uses real life examples in class and knows the subject matter like the back of his hand. Very knowledgeable and very good at teaching.
Brother Nate is an awesome professor and made taking an economics class with tons of calculus actually somewhat enjoyable. The work load is actually really small. He only gives one homework assignment a week. Take good notes and try and study the book and you'll pass easily. His tests are very tough but he grades with a lot of mercy.
Extremely smart and content comes across really well, great teacher.
Brother Nate always has the best lectures. I have had him twice and each class has been great. He makes his lectures interesting by adding humor to them. He is very clear and makes things easy to understand. The test are tough but he will teach everything you need to know, just make sure to take good notes. He is willing to help in anyway he can.
Brother Nate is probably one of the best professors at BYU-I. He is friendly, funny, and really cares about his students. He knows everyone's name within the first week or two. Econ 150 provides a challenge, but he gives all the tools you need to succeed. Brother Nate's class is the highlight of my day! Take him if you have the opportunity!!!!!
Brother Nate is by far my favorite professor I have ever had. He is so enthusiastic about economics that it made me seriously consider switching my major. He is super hilarious and offers a few extra credit opportunities to help boost the grade a bit (and to provide real life examples of concepts being taught). Highlight of the semester.
I really enjoyed this class, the examples that he gave were really helpful and although I did not read out of the textbook that much (except to cram for tests) I still really enjoyed how he would tell stories that although hilarious, would help us understand how economics worked in our own life.
There is not enough room in this box to tell you how great Brother Nate is! First off, he is hilarious! The best thing about him though is he makes you love economics (which I thought would be impossible for me...). He teaches the material so clearly in a way that you understand (and enjoy) and do well on his tests. Take this class from him 100%!!!
Brother Nate makes classes really enjoyable. He is a really good teacher and does many different things in class to help you really understand the material. Very humorous and you don't get bored in class often.
For Econ 215, there is no other way to go! He requires the textbook, but he explains it better in class, but learn both! Attendance isnt required but its always good to go! So you know whats going on. Tests are 10 questions with 4-5 parts a piece. Study for them! Amazing Teacher, tons of E.C. (Hotness is for an inside joke we had in class, ask him)
Brother Nate is one of the best teachers I've had while here at BYU-I. He explains the concepts in a clear manner. If you go to class, take good notes, and study for tests you will be fine. Quantitative Methods isn't an easy course, but he made the content understandable by really getting down to the reason certain concepts exist.
He is very helpful. He always makes time for you if you're willing to do the required work. His teaching style is definitely not boring & he knows how to simplify complicated material. Do the reading+homework or you won't do well in the class & come to class, you'll need the inclass notes to do well on exams. By far one of the best teachers at BYUI
He is by far my favorite teacher of all time. No one is funnier or gives you more opportunities for success than any other teacher I have ever had.
One of the best teachers at BYUI. Lectures are always interesting and bro Nate can make any material seem exciting. He loves what he does and he's really good at it. Tests are hard, but there are plenty of extra credit opportunities. Do your homework, take good notes, and this class can be a easy A. Pasha.
Bro Nate is the most amazing teacher ever. He is very caring, funny and accessible outside of class. He cares about you and wants to help you. This class has 4 credits so you have to work for it but he is very generous with the grade. You have a second chance to improve the Exams grades. Love him!
Brother Nate is a funny professor. But that's about all he has going for him. He knows how to make a class laugh, and is really good at getting off topic when we should be talking about Economics. He is also very unwilling to help struggling students, even when asked, "What can I do better, Brother Nate?" his response is simply, "Just do better."
Easily one of my favorite professors of all time. His classes are very structured and I always knew exactly what was expected of me. I also felt like he did a wonderful job covering the material and always had a neat, original activity to explain difficult concepts.
Brother Nate has been one of the best teachers I have had at BYUI. He's hilarious and makes the material interesting and keeps you engaged with jokes, sometimes he can get off topic, but he prepares you for the weekly quizzes.
I took Econ 440, Law and Economics as a preparatory class for law school. This class covered the economic principles behind common law, criminal law, torts, and contracts. There is a moderate amount of math used, but nothing beyond college algebra is required. The lectures were very good. The subjects covered were useful when I got to law school.
very enthusiastic about the matter and uses a soundboard to make references to various comedies and TV shows. likes teaching and his students and is helpful if meetings are sought outside class.
There is no escaping the difficulty of upper-level economic classes. Bro. Nate made the difficult content of a class bearable and enjoyable. He is willing to sit down with you and work on homework.
Brother Nate is one of the best teachers on campus. The class is a difficult class, but I wouldn't want to take it from any other teacher. He makes class exciting and teaches in a very clear way.
Brother Nate is easily the best professor I have personally taken at BYU Idaho. He teaches touch topics in a clear and simple way. He also prepares you very well for quizzes and exams. Funny, kind, and happy to help. Students that have posted negatively in his regard must have not put in any effort to apply themselves because he is happy to help.
Brother Nate made me love Economics. He makes the material very clear and gives great feedback. His presentations have all the information you need to pass, just take good notes. Writing your notes instead of typing helped because of all the graphs. He prepares us well for tests and expect a quiz every week.
Listen to me and take this professor, you won't regret it. It's the only class I don't fall asleep in. The class material isn't the easiest but you will survive.
Great guy. He's hilarious, gives some extra credit, and does everything he can to help you understand the material. Pro tip, set Aplia (the homework website he uses) to send you a reminder email when homework is due. You can't see very far ahead in due dates, so if you don't check Aplia for a week or two, you may find that you missed an assignment.
Bro. Nate is an awesome teacher. If you do the work, you will pass the class. I'm taking two more classes from him next semester, and I highly suggest him for ECON150. He is way funny, and he also knows economics super well. He's really kind, and he wants to help. Best teacher I've had so far at BYUI for sure.
Brother Nate is a very good teacher and always keeps class interesting. Its a hard class, but if you take good notes and make sure you really understand the homework, its not too bad.
Brother Nate is a great professor. He is funny and teaches very well. It's also a class that as long as you're willing to work hard, you'll pass. However, last time I took the class the textbook was expensive and awful to understand.
Funny, up to par in pop culture, group quizzes
Brother Nate is such an amazing professor. He puts a lot of time and effort into making class interesting and engaging. The work load of the class is super manageable and not overwhelming at all. He is hilarious and cares about his students. He makes learning about microeconomics fun and I would highly recommend taking a class from him!
Great as a guy, and super funny. Just don't expect any mercy. I struggled with this class and he's not good at in-depth one on one explanations. He knows his stuff, the trouble is that he has a hard time teaching for understanding. He also has trouble understanding if you have problems with the Cengage HW system. As I said, no mercy.
Brother Nate is awesome, great at lectures and as one who struggles with understanding graphs he made it easier and was very descriptive 12 our of 10 I would take his class again! He uses activities to teach and its a lot of fun. It is a difficult class but he also understands that and trys to help you out. Awesome!
Stop looking for an econ professor and just take Bro Nate! Gives out lots of extra credit, quizzes are done in groups, and exams are almost a copy of the quizzes. He's super funny and is caught up on pop culture. He does a great job at keeping the class entertained and makes you want to come to class.
I took his class some time ago and he is the best teacher ever! He lets you make up for your exam scores and his teachings are clear. He is super funny with his keyboard too. Let alone his TA. Man she's so pretty and her accent is beautiful
Very solid teacher. Tests are 75% of the grade, but Brother Nate is the best in terms of preparing you for the exams and teaching the material in a way that is very understandable.
Bro Nate is the best professor I have had. He lays out a really difficult and ,quite frankly, boring topic in a hilarious and interesting way that makes you remember it. I think you would have to never show up to fail the class. He makes it so easy to learn by giving group quizzes and preparing everyone so well for exams.
Brother Nate is a great teacher. You can study the textbook all you want but if you don't listen to him teach you will not succeed. Quiz almost every week, however ours were all group quizes. Homework every week, sometimes every other week. Tests count towards most of your grade which makes it hard.
Brother Nate was easily one of my favorite teachers I've ever had at BYU-Idaho. Your attendance is not recorded BUT the examples you go over in class are IDENTICAL to the questions he asks on the test. If you begin to fall behind, don't give up on yourself. It is a hard class but it is not impossible if you are consistent in doing your hw!
Attendance is not mandatory but if you don't go to class, you wont score well. His class is sooo much fun! He explains the lesson in a way you can easily understand. The quizzes are done in groups and the exam is the combination of the quizzes. Best Professor ever! Highly recommend his class.
I LOVED Brother Nate! He was so funny and made class so much fun. He was so helpful in preparing us for exams. Homework due every other Friday and quizzes every week, done in groups and exams were just a combination of the quizzes. As long as you go to class and study, you'll do well. Seriously one of my favorite professors I've ever had!
Brother Nate is great at making the whole class feel included and have fun! This course was very hard for me though. There are group quizzes, and homework almost, every week, and the readings were crazy extensive. I had to cram to try and finish the chapter to stay ahead but never felt like I could understand everything we talked about in class.
I liked the professor, he is good
FANTASTIC professor. Undoubtedly one of the best at this university. He has music playing as you come in to class, cracks relevant jokes all the time, and allows plenty of opportunities to pass the class with the grade you want. You still have to put in effort, but his lectures are crystal clear and he makes learning economics fun. He's a genius.
Awesome professor and one of the only few economics professors that I would take classes from. I should add that his level of difficulty for his class's homework is the most reasonable among all other ECON 150 classes. He uses Cengage which has the best questions for homework. 10/10!
Great professor and even though the class was long he made it feel short. Econ was hard for me but he made it easy to grasp so I'd call it a win.
Brother Nates class was a joy to attend. He also is extremely talented at explaining economics and breaking it down to both applicable and easy ways to understand. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Unless you have major fears of tests because tests are 75% of the grade
Brother Nate has by far been my favorite professor at BYUI. Tests in his class are about 75% of your grade, but he prepares you well. This is the one class I consistently looked forward to due to Brother Nate's teaching style. He is great at getting class participation and making you feel valued as a student! 11/10 would recommend!
Econ itself was challenging but Brother Nate taught in a way that was entertaining and easier to learn. He is a fast lecturer so it was hard to keep up at times but he is always willing to answer any questions. There's not much preparation provided so really make sure that you do and understand the reading since test are worth 75% of your grade.
Brother Nate is hilarious and makes his class enjoyable. However, he moves very fast and Im not a fan of his grading system because 75% of your grade is based on 3 tests you take throughout the course. So if you dont test very well dont take this course.
BY FAR my favorite professor I've ever had. He knew everyone's name on the first day of class which impressed me immediately. I'm really sad he only teaches Econ 150. Brother Nate has some of the best stories that help you remember principles in economics a lot better. He uses a ton of sound effects during lectures to make things fun too.
Decently hard class material-wise, but Brother Nate made it fun. Mindtap was the worst, but it wasn't worth too much of the grade. Make sure to take notes in class. The majority of your grade is based on 3 exams. There is a weekly quiz, but he prepares you well for them. The exams are exactly like the quizzes, sometimes with the same questions.
Brother Nate is the best teacher I have had in my life. He will help you with anything you do not know and gets to know his students the best he can. He understands the material super well and makes it easy to understand and apply in the real world. Would definitely recommend.
Bro. Nate is the best teacher I have ever had. He was hilarious in class and tried to make the material fun to learn every day. He is super willing to help you and is very understanding. If you ever have to take an Econ class there is no better teacher to take than him.
He is an old school teacher. His test and exams have essay questions that he grades unfairly. He is NOT willing to help the students at all and after talking with him multiple times he made me feel incompetent and attacked.
He is a smart guy and I think he could be a better teacher but he doesn't put in the effort towards it. Homework is not linked to Canvas because he is just lazy and doesn't care to do it at expense of the student. Quiz and test questions are often vague and graded by opinion. I wish I took another teacher just to have a better learning experience.
So glad I took econ micro from him! Always says it how it is and makes a long class entertaining and fun. I don't know why people be hating on his humor, I think he's hilarious! He does in-class social experiments and has a fun soundboard. Group quizzes are a lifesaver and if you show up and pay attention a good grade is totally realistic.
Brother Nate is an amazing economist and professor. His class is really hard for Econ 150 though. 75% of your grade is based on the 3 exams you take, so if you are not a good test taker, I might suggest a different instructor. I also think it is slightly annoying how the homework is not through canvas, which makes it tricky to remember to complete.
Brother Nate is super fun. His classes are always enjoyable, and he really cares about his students. Econ 215 is a challenging course, and he makes you earn your grade, but if you go to class, PAY ATTENTION, and study hard for the exams you'll do well.
Bro. Nate is one of the best econ professors at the university. Don't hesitate to take him no matter what class it is. He's also EXTREMELY BASED.
He is quite possibly the best teacher I have ever had. He makes econ fun. This was a class I enjoyed so much, and Ron Nate has so much to do with that. The course was very difficult, but that is not his fault. In fact, if it were not for how good of a teacher he is, I would have dropped it. I was able to talk to him outside of class.
Natedog is the TOP G. I took 475 and 215 and although the classes were hard I was able to get an A+ in both. Bro Nate is the best teacher and he really helps you understand the content.
Immaculate handwriting if that's something you look for. Easily one of the best/coolest professors I've ever had. Econ is a tough subject for a lot of people, but I feel that he explains it as simply as possible. All quizzes are group quizzes.
I have heard people talk bad about math teachers and that taking a math class sucks but I did not feel this was the case. If you pay attention, prepare, and participate then you will succeed. Br. Nate helps you as a student understand the material and will provide you with real-world examples. Also, if he makes a mistake ask him to "Apologize".
Professor Nate was overall an amazing teacher! His lectures are interactive through questions and letting us help. He does not grade you on whether or not you are in class or not. Though it is recommended that you come because that is where you gain the best understanding otherwise read the book a lot. He does quizzes that you can work together on.
Just not good. The way he teaches is not clear. Not funny(sorry), kind of a weird vibe due to a youtube ad accusing him of bad stuff(I don't think it is true btw). If you have no choice, just watch youtube videos to really understand it.
Ron Nate was the teacher of my very first economics class! Group quizzes every week. The tests make up a large percentage of your grade, but are not terribly difficult, and have bonus points. Besides for him being a wonderful teacher, my favorite part of the class is the ample extra credit! Would highly recommend Professor Nate.
He was an awesome professor that helped teach so much and was able to make class funny and entertaining, graded very fair and was forgiving, loved all his students and was very inspiring!
Best professor I have ever had, if you take this class prepare to love econ, and find a new favorite teacher.
Great professor
Brother Nate is an incredibly kind, hilarious teacher. The material is difficult, but his lectures make them much more clear. There is a lot of difficult homework, but he gives us the resources to succeed.
Bro Nate is a nice person and means well but I just don't think he is that great of a teacher. Sometimes in class, it seemed to me that he cared more about whether or not people laughed at his jokes than if the students understood the material. Some of the homework questions are about things that weren't even discussed in class beforehand.
Brother Nate is a great person, but not the best teacher. You get to take quizes in groups, but you do not get a notecard on the tests like other econ classes. He is funny but the material is not taught in a way that helps on homework and tests.
By far the best teacher I have ever had! If you are taking econ, there is no other teacher better for you. Econ is hard, but so much more manageable under Brother Nate. He gives clear feedback on how to improve. He is super funny. He gives in -class examples for you to grasp concepts. He knows really well what he is talking about.
Professor Nate is a hilarious and engaging lecturer. While the material is challenging, his teaching style makes it more digestible. unstuck AI and the provided resources were super helpful for exam prep.
