This guy saved my life. I was taking forever to pass math and if it weren't for Nicoletti, I wouldn't have! He's a really great teacher--very clear and amazingly helpful. Try not to miss class though, you can get lost pretty fast.

What a great teacher. I had struggled through math my whole life and feel like I am starting to understand how to do it. I would take a class with Mr. Nicoletti every quarter if I could. His way of explaining math is wonderful and he takes the time to make sure that everyone understands. Best math teacher at De Anza.

Mr. Nicoletti is the best math teacher at De Anza. His lectures are very easy to follow and he takes time to explain things if you don't understand. All quizzes and exams are open note, so if you show up and take good notes there is no reason to not get a good grade. If you have any problems with math, Nicoletti is the guy to take. He's fantastic.

Mr Nicoletti is the best math teacher that I have ever had, if not the best teacher that I have ever had. He makes math seem easy and if you do the HW you will be in great shape. Open note tests are easy also. I highly recomend Mr Nicoletti!

I am not the math type, but I loved this class. It was the first math class I have taken and can honestly say I understood all of the material. Nicoletti is a GREAT teacher, definitely take him if you get the chance!

Guy explains everything clearly, hes funny as well, it feels that he cares, he helps the strugling people even when they ask dumb question, guy is very patient and is alwais in a great mood and he knows hes stuff! Tests are reletivly easy i think based on things done in the class, he even allows to do tests with notebook, wow this guy is da bomb!

Really great math instructor. Knows his stuff incredibly well. Helpful and extremely clear on all materials. 4 tests/quizzes and 200 point final. Drops 1 quiz/exam that was lowest. Let you use notes for harder quiz/exam. No break for 2 hour class since it he ends about 20 minutes early. If he taught Stats, I would take again in heartbeat. No HW!!!!

he's GREAT! a highschool teacher from mitty part-time teaching @ deanza.. actually CARES about students unlike some profs. has a funny sense of humor and is very good at keeping your attention engaged. great at teaching! SUPER-CLEAR and always willing to help if u need more clarification. as long as u try, you'll pass with an A :)

Awesome teacher, you can miss every single class except for the tests, and you'll be okay, all you need to do is to actually study hard before the final, cause it's 200 points out of 600. he drops lowest exam and quiz, and you can use your notes on the final! But if you do actually plan on showing up, don't be surprized if you actually like it.

Probably the best math teacher I've ever had, and easily the best at DeAnza. The class still being full at the end of the quarter speaks for itself. He answers ALL questions, and is very clear and detailed with his explanations. I can't recommend this guy enough. My only complaint would be that he doesn't teach any more classes beyond trig!!!

This guy is a great teacher. He keeps it fairly simple and will go over things many times if needed. He's got a cute sense of humor and is a very cool guy. He teaches at high school full-time, so you can tell he is used to dealing with distracted teenagers. I would take him again in a heartbeat! I definitely recommend him. Show up for class=A

He actually truly cares and WANTS his students to do well. I HATE math but he made it bearable. Very clear with what he wants on the tests. Also, he's kinda hot in a really strange way...I don't know why?

EASY TEACHER. EASY CLASS. It's simple, basic algebra. The lectures are boring but you can understand the material easily. Quizzes, tests, and final is easy easy easy! Recommend the teacher. He's really chill, cool, helpful, and easy. Easy A. No textbook, you learn everything through lecture and do homework through a software program.

TOO EASY. Comes from a high school so treats his students like them. No textbook. You don't even need to go to the labs.

This guys rocks! He's was the best math instructor in the Fall Quarter of 2008 at De Anza when the other decent teachers were on sabbatical! I'm retarded at math but he was able to help me overcome that obstacle! Highly recommended! I wish he taught MPS.........

Do yourself a favor and TAKE THIS CLASS! Nicoletti is such a kind person. He genuinely wants you to do well, and will do what he can to help you succeed. He teaches great, and makes the class fun. Great sense of humor and an awesome personality. I would DEFINITELY take him again, and I wish he did higher level math classes!!!

Took the enablemath course. He isn't hard nor easy. Gives quizzes every 2 weeks and tests but your allowed notes. Real cool and funny guy but also extremely helpful. After taking his class, I understood math so much more. Attendance is really helpful if your taking enable math course.

This guy is awesome. I have never enjoyed math but for some reason I loved his class and it all made sense. I found myself wondering why I had struggled with math before when he made it seem so easy. I took enablemath class and I enjoyed it even though I got lazy towards the end of the quarter. Very fun in class and helpful.

This teacher is honestly by far the most wonderful teacher I've ever had at deanza. He honestly cares about his students passing the class. Although class is mandatory, you really learn alot from his teaching, so you don't want to miss any of his classes. I actually loved going to his class because I finally understood math only because of him.

Excellent instructor. Will endeavor to explain a topic until you understand, which is usually quickly due to his crystal clarity. High energy keeps class interesting. Homework is assigned for practice only, all points come from quizzes and tests, which are all scheduled. Easy grading drops lowest scores, attendance optional but advised.

Very good teacher, he explained the material very well. Also between the homework assignments and the extra credit for getting tutoring he prepared the class to succeed. If you struggle with math he is the right teacher for you. Also it was much appreciated for him to give everybody a scantron for the final.

It's simple. All you have to do is come to class, pay attention, take good notes; and you're good to go! He allows you to use notes on the tests and quizes so that helps a lot! He's pretty funny too which is always a plus!

TOOK him for my first math class at de anza so i didn't really know what to expect, but as long as you show up to class and take notes, it's fairly easy to follow along. he lets you use your notes. hes pretty easy going and will drop your lowest test score if you get a higher grade on the final.

This teacher is amazing. He is very efficient in his style of teaching. Class is well structured and lecture is clear. He shows you the easier way of doing certain problems but doesn't mind if you use other methods as long as you show work. His tests are refections of classwork and homework. He is helpful and very knowledgable. I highly recommend.

Professor Nicoletti is seriously the nicest professor on campus. He was always very helpful and easy to talk to. He goes over the material very slowly and clearly. If you've already learned the material, it might be a little redundant and boring but he explains it very thoroughly nonetheless. Likes to pick on students sometimes. Highly recommend!

I too this class my very first semester and failed I was very hesitant on taking it again scared I wasn't going to pass but this professor made math so much easier and clearer then other teachers I have taken in the past he also lets you use your notes on exams and quizzes and he is beyond helpful take him!!!!

You need to know that I made an account on Rate My Professors because I just HAD to rate Mr. Nicoletti: He's an AMAZING teacher! He's thorough with all his problems that he writes on the board, never skips a step, and CLEARLY explains how to solve the problem. He doesn't take attendance but he gave out assignments everyday due next class.

Prof. Nicoletti is a great teacher. Seems intimidating at first, but is actually pretty funny and helpful. Pay attention to how quizzes, worksheets and exams work! He gives you lots of opportunities to do well, honestly, you just need to put in effort. He lets you use your notes on quizzes, exams and even the final which was huge for me!

Professor Nicoletti, helped me break free from my fear for math. He's a really great math teacher, he teaches step by step in a easy way. Take notes while you're in his class cause it is your strongest assets for your quiz, midterm, and finals.

Excellent teacher you WILL NOT regret it. Be sure to raise your hand if you are stuck on a question; he will stop to make sure you understand. He also helps outside of class in the math lab next to the planetarium.

I had him to be my teacher for this spring quarter. His class is easy going. All you need to do just take every note that he was talking about in class and you can use this for test or exam. He will let you open note on every test and exam.

One of the best teachers I've had at De Anza so far! I really hate and struggle with math, but this class was pretty easy for me. Basically, if you show up to every class and take notes (test/quizzes are open note), you will definitely pass the class with at least a B!

Really straightforward professor. Go to lecture everyday, ask questions, study a bit, you'll do fine. His test questions are really reasonable and he let us take a few quizzes open note when he could tell we didn't cover material thoroughly enough. Highly recommend his class.

He is a super nice professor than I thought! His lecture makes us clear. I've already learned some parts, but his teaching style makes me convinced. If you are in waitlist and you cannot get add code, you should plead him. He allows us to bring identities sheet which is formula. His lecture is well prepared, and tests come from his lectures.
