Hillarious teacher! Knows his stuff and as long as you take his simple notes, you will pass his tests. He is really funny but I still learned a lot in his class. He has a way of making things make sense to our generation. He gives rediculosly easy attendance quizes and plenty of extra credit. Fun teacher, easy A!

Funny prof. Keeps class upbeat and interesting. Easy to pay attention. Fairly easy tests. 1 4 page double spaced essay is the only homework assignment. Would definately recommend him

I started reading chapters over and started to do better so definitely have to study and not just his notes. He makes a lot of jokes which keeps you awake. Takes attendance quizzes all the time.

Mr. Quiram was a funny teacher and he let us out of class early almost every day which was nice. But I would study the notes and still get C's on the test. Not until I read the book did I start getting better grades. READ THE BOOK

I have this class at 8AM & even though I dread waking up, he actually keeps the class interesting & funny & I'm not falling asleep. He doesn't use power points nor writes on the board, but his lectures are very clear & he makes sure you get the info down. I think you can get by without reading, but the textbook is very helpful. TAKE HIM!! EASY A!!!

Had him at 9am and I never missed class. Very interesting and funny. Definitely wish I could take another class with him. If you read the book and take notes, it an easy A. Dont go in and think that since he's a cool laid back guy that the class is going to be a blowoff because you wont do good. Just try and you'll be fine

Great Prof. He makes the class fun and he's not too hard. He says to read the book but honestly, theres only like 6 questions on the test from the book (not worth reading 40 pages for). Great teacher!! All he does is lecture. The test are kinda of hard because we go over so much but not tooo hard. has HILARIOUS stories to tell. Requires you to read outside of class, i never did and still passed. besides reading outside of class and studying that was the only work that i had.

Ron is super easy! He basically just talks the whole time he is up there. He never writes anything in the board. Write everything he says and memorize that for the exams and you will do amazing! He doesn't really give homework. He gives you extra credit opportunities after each test. If you can take him then do it! You won't regret it. He's super cool, and always has great stories. His tests are 90-95% notes and 5-10% books as well as the final. I never read the book and did fine on the tests. I decided to bomb the last test it brought my average to a C. I ended up still getting a B in the class so I would highly suggest him. Just show up and be active.

Ron is a great prof. He has great stories about all the material so you just need to listen to what he says in class and take notes. 90=95% of questions on exam are from notes, so even of you do not read book you still can get A as I did. Also you can get extra quiz points. An easy class. Take him!

All I can say is TAKE HIM. This guy is the best professor I imagine anyone could brag about. He is EXTREMELY fair with grading, as long as you do what you're supposed to (come to class, listen, laugh your ass off, take notes, and read) you will pass with flying colors. TAKE HIM!! Ron is hands down the best professor I've had in college thus far. He is absolutely hilarious and ACTUALLY MAKES CLASS FUN. He offers extra credit quizzes following the exams. He doesn't lecture from a power point, it's all straight from his head - but don't fear, he covers everything that will be on the exams!

I loved him, but you have to take good notes. I didn't buy the book and was just fine, but I did record the lectures and re-listen to them after each class to make sure I had everything. You can go to him and he will look over your notes to make sure you have everything too, super nice guy!

Ron is one of the best profs I have ever had. His lectures are short and to the point. I took the class on TuesdayThursday and we got out in less than an hour every class. His test are easy if you go to class, and study the materials. He does assign one paper, but it is super easy! He doesn't drop students because of attendance. TAKE RON!!!

This professor is an east A. Gives lots of extra credit for each test give. You do need to go to lecture but you are typically out of there within 40 mins or less. He is funny and has some great stories. Study your notes well and you will get an A! DONT NEED TEXTBOOK

He is hilarious. Tries to relate government topics to a modern view. He does not take attendance, but if you do not get the notes you will fail. He does not follow textbook. He has "Ron's definitions" for a lot of the terms that are asked about on the test. 2 extra credit quizzes that help bump you up a little bit.

His lectures were very interesting and kept you entertained throughout class. The class always flew by because it was so interesting. You do have to read some but most of the exams are straight from lecture. There is no homework, just exams, 2 quizzes, and an easy paper. Definitely take him. Students sign a role sheet but he does not drop for attendance. No homework, just 3 exams, a paper and the final. He also gave my class an extra credit assignment to do in class. He's funny, interesting and doesn't waste time on information that isn't on the test. We were let out of every class early. He's a great teacher and person.

The most standout feature of Quiram is his sense of humor. Incredibly funny. He cares about the topic and makes it interesting. He bases his test solely off his lectures so take good notes! The textbook is used only for essay writing. Not an easy A but not a difficult class. A very good professor that I would highly recommend!

Ron is fantastic. His lectures are hilarious which makes you pay attention. He's a super intelligent guy and loves government. You have 3 tests and one paper in the class. You also have an extra credit assignment after each test to boost your test grades. He doesn't put grades in but he'll tell you your grade if you email him. TAKE HIM!

Great professor. Lectures are awesome and he will joke around and engage with students occasionally. His lectures are all oral. If you take good notes, you should be fine with the tests. If you study a decent amount this class will be easy!

You must show up to class to do well because his tests are lecture heavy and sometimes info that can not be found in the book. For example, an answer for "What is federalism?" may be "A frat", because that is how he explained it. That being said, EASY A IF YOU TRY, I did not.

All of the quizzes are open note and all of the answers are on quizlet. The tests are very easy, so minimal studying needs to be done. He offers a lot of very easy extra credit. The only thing that makes this class a little difficult is that all Ron does is give lectures at a fast pace with no lectures. If you take notes on a computer you are set.

I would greatly recommend this class for anyone who hates govt or find it boring because this professor will make it interesting. He is very funny and makes govt fun to learn. He gives 6 quizzes from the book chapters (open note & drops one) and 4 total exams based only off his lectures. He also gives a short paper and plenty of extra credit.

Ron is honestly the BEST government professor ever. There are no slideshows or homework. 1 paper, 3 tests, and 4-5 quizzes. You do have to come to class because if you don't then you will fail. The quizzes are open book/ open note so get the book. The tests are solely based on this lectures so much sure to take good notes.

I am personally one to HATE government or anything history but he makes the class fun and engaging. He is very funny, he makes the class fun to not fall asleep too. He isn't too picky about attendance, but everything he says is important. He gives easy extra credit like buy food cans or children's crayons... and you get bonus points for just that.

Hey gave us 3 extra credits that were great. He dropped an exam. All around though fantastic professor. Doesnt matter which way you lean in his class. Responds to emails quick. It was by far one of the easiest classes I've took with only a couple assignments due each week along with an exam. I 100% recommend taking him.

Ron was a solid dude and very clear on what he expected. Which is for you to be an adult and do 98% of the work out of class. That being said he always did in class reviews which covered 80% of what would be covered on the test. The remainder was either cover in lecture or the chapters. Not alot of test so besure to do well on them.

Professor Ron was great! If you like dry humor this is the guy for you. He is always there to answer questions and has great communication skills. Great POLS/GOVT prof at Blinn. Easy A if you keep up with work.

Graded by 4 Exams (one being optional), and the only work was to do chapter reading quizzes from the textbook. Quizzes aren't proctored but can be found on Quizlet. Tests are a little hard and most come directly from textbook. Content is overwhelming, but most is for additional learning. Gave everyone 10/10 for paper. Lectures are entertaining!

Pretty based guy. I took him for US government. One day he started talking about attending midget wrestling competitions. One of my favorite professors this far. Also he isnt that difficult just study for the tests and do well on the weekly quizzes

Professor Quiram was a solid professor. His class is very lecture based, but he makes it entertaining. His lectures do jump around with not much structure, so make sure you take notes! I had him for Gov't 2305, and the only bad thing about his class is the exams can be tough. You will find questions on the exams that weren't mention in class.

This is by far the best professor I had at Blinn. He is extremely funny which made going to an 8 am class more bearable. Took a summer class so your grade depended on your test. Overall grade was cumulative. He is all lecture, no PowerPoints or notes. So make sure to write everything he says down. Test were easy if you show up for lectures.

His lectures are always really entertaining. He explains things so well and gives us a lot of extra cred. The quizzes/exams are very difficult. You will *barely* make it without reading the chapters ONLY study the lectures, videos+ questions twice as hard, so dont try to skip out on reading the book. Anything on the quizzes WILL be on the exams.

Professor Quiram is one of my favorite teachers i've had at Blinn, he is engaging and clear about what information is important. Class was almost never dull and he often let us out early. He loves for the students to participate in class and wants us to enjoy it. The tests were hard, but otherwise a great class.
