Awesome professor! If you really want to learn English Comp, take his class. He?s challenging, but extremely fair, approachable, helpful, and treats students with respect. He encourages students to email him for help, explains the material well, and has a good sense of humor. Interesting class discussions. I would definitely choose him again.

His class is very interesting and fun. The reading is even funner and Mr. Robinson was great at choosing what was best for us within the text book. Mr. Robinson, if you can read this, I loved The Illiad and The Odyssey...thanks for sharing that story with us. The experience was sublime.

Great teacher! He is always available through email if you need some extra help. Attendance is very important because their are grades taking daily. But you can make a good grade if you come regularly and do assignments. You also get 3 free absent days.

The only flaw I found with Mr. Robinson was that he tends to talk for a long time. This can be both benefitial and annoying. The time flys by fast in his class, and his stories are mostly pretty interesting. He is not one of the best teachers but he is a good teacher.

If you don't like reading than I probably won't take him. We have reading assignments and a quiz that follows. Your grade dependson on your effort in the class.

Good English teacher. Can go off topic sometimes and quizzes are somewhat pointless, but good overall. Fairly easy course given you do the work. Would recommend to those taking ENGL 1302

the class is easy to follow and interesting. the two hours a day goes by fast! and it is not overwelming in this short amount of time.

It was entertaining and fun. I enjoyed my class and he really teached me many things that will be useful in 1302. He was patient with the learning process and always encouraged everyone to be a better writer.

Mr. Robinson is an excellent professor; He shows a genuine interest in the students and is always willing to help. Occasionally he will veer off topic; however, a majority of the stories are relative to the subject at hand. There are daily quizzes over the reading, but the questions are not difficult. I recommend taking his courses.

Interesting Class, Learned more than from any other writing class I have taken. Would recommend this class to capable students looking for an informative semester.

Good professor. Took him for two classes. Brings diverse topics to the class that ties in to the lesson. Encourages students to think and express their opinions. Though i spoke my mind a few times, he liked to hear what i said. It brought class participation. He even wrote me a letter of recomendation to UNT, Woo Hoo. He cares about his students.

mr robinson is a good teacher. he is funny, and actually cares for you as a student. i don't think a day has gone by where he hasn't inspired us to try harder or convinced us that we're doing the right thing coming to college. he's a god teacher and a good choice for english.

Mr. Robinson is one of the best teachers I have had, I can honestly say that I have learned so much in this class, from all the literature we read to the group discussions. I highly recommend him.

Really enjoyed the class made the "classics" interesting lots of insightful commments, but gets off subject sometimes; makes one think about things in a different way.

Great Professor! He does ramble a lot about pointless things, but by the end of the semester you will be able to write the perfect paper. The quizzes are extremely hard, so when he tells you to read for a quiz do it and study the material greatly! If I could take him again,I would since his teaching skills helped me become a better writer.

Mr. Robinson is a great teacher even though he can be a little though. He makes you read the book and then he ends up either giving his students really hard quizzes or forget about them at the end. His essays are somewhat easy but then they get harder. He does talk a lot but they are good conversations. If you take him just read really good!!!!

Mr. Robinson is very, very difficult. He is not for the faint of heart, or the type who's mind tends to wander. He can be unclear at some times, occasionally getting off topic. However, he cares very much for his work, and will do everything in his power to help his students get good grades. That is, if the student has the will to get them himself.

My Robinson is a great professor. I took him this semester for ENG 1301. His class is challenging and I learned a lot from him. He gets off topic sometimes but his stories are always interesting and never boring. He tries to make us ready for our future classes. He actually cares about his students. He also replies back quickly to email questions.

Took Ron Robinson over both summer sessions 1301 and 1302 he is a nice man, very talkative. Gets off track sometimes however very personal. So so on easiness he will get your prepared for college level writing! Strict grader!!

Took Mr. Robinson for World Lit. His selections from the text made the class more bearable than other English classes I have taken. His lectures involve student feedback and discussion which makes the text easier to understand. Professor Robinson is awsome! If you have the opportunity to take his class DO IT! No writing assignments or papers and all discussions are VERY interesting. A lot of reading, but that's it. Prof. Robinson is a truly enlightened person, and I would trade nothing for the wonderful experience taking his class gave me.

This professor uses the best method, in my opinion, of showing you how to properly write essays and research papers. Without his patience and experience in this field I feel I would have wanted to give up on writing. He is a great professor!

In my opinion this is one of the best professor i ever had! His class is very interesting and he knows how to keep you attending to hat he has to teach. When i first starter in this class i never had guessed that i could actually learn to write a proper essay. This has been one of my best experience in class of all my live. Thank you Mr Robinson!

Mr. Robinson is a great professor. He truly wants his students to succeed. He is always willing to assist if you are stuggling with class work. As long as you follow directions and do what is required, you will have no problem in his class. You will enjoy the life stories he has to share, as well.

If you enjoy writing essays you will love Mr. Robinson. He does teach you what is needed to know for your essay. You will be reading a lot which is also helpful in conducting your essays. He is rally a hard instructor but a helpful one. I really enjoyed the class (3 hrs a night) & I do not like English.

I throughly enjoyed Mr. Robinson. There is a lot of work he expects of his students, but he is always there to help, if you have any questions. VERY INFORMATIVE. I found his talking quite enjoyable, very interesting and very wise! Has much respect for his students. Would take him again!!

Professor Robinson was not the easiest Professor, but are they suppose to be easy? He made me think and he made me work for whatever grade I've received. For that I'm grateful. I'd much rather have a serious or strict professor than one that is lenient and/or aloof. I believe he sincerely cares enough to want everyone to reach their full potential.

Great Professor! Your grade is based on your own effort to study. While it is an easy class; be sure to take notes during lectures and read the material given and your guaranteed an A. He is sincere about his students as he will give opportunity if you deserve it. Again though, overall a great teacher!

This Prof has compounding work, miss a few classes later in the semester and your over. has a major zeal for teaching. makes you earn your grade, so no easy grades no make up and no extra credit. i wouldnt take him again ever but would love being his friend for philosophical debates.

Mr. Robinson was a very interesting teacher. I thought he has an wonderful life, and I was always ready to hear from his past life. He's a good teacher, but you should listen and make eye contact when he's talking. He will like you if you listen whenever he's talking. But overall I enjoyed being in his class and plan on taking ENGL 1302 under him.

Mr. Robinson is cool. He is very helpful. He is honest about your level of work and is always giving helpful tips. He is always here and to me that is vry important. He also has a really good handle on the class. That's really about all.

A very interesting teacher, he has a lot of experience and a wide range of interests, however he is not without flaws. He often comes late for class (which is a benefit to me when catching up on some reading) and when hes not straying off topic, his class can be a bore to be in. fairly strict and has high expectations for his students.

Mr.Robinson seems strict and unpleasant, but one full class with him and you soon see that little attention is needed because he is rarely talking about anything to do with the class. And how can you be strict and have two awesome ponytails? HAHA His quizzes are simple straight from the book, and he walks through the papers with you.

If you like to read it is a fun class to take you learn a lot took it during summer no papers to write just read and undersand the text.

Professor Robinson is the type of professor that I needed. I have never written a research paper in my life. Now I feel like I am a pro! lol. This professor has taken me from point A to point B and I am so proud of myself now! More professors like Mr Robinson are needed. He is a great big help to all! The class agrees!

Mr. Robinson is one of the most interesting men I have ever met. He's lived a fascinating life and he is open to discuss almost anything. He is very helpful, comical and really wants to see every student succeed. He is an easy going person, but is firm on what he expects of you. He is old school, but is up on all the current news at the same time

I came into the class not being very confident about being able to write a ten page research paper, but he started at step one and by the end of the semester I had completed a twelve-page paper with ease. Show up to class and do your homework. He will help you IF YOU COMMUNICATE!

Mr. Robinson is very helpful! The paper topics weren't the most interesting but they way he has you do your outline really helps! He is willing to help if you communicate! We emailed back and forth weekly. Great professor!

Dude is real. Cares and wants his students to do good. Interesting lectures that makes the class go by fast and smooth.

Mr. Robinson is a very respectable interesting professor, who, when asked for help will always offer it to satisfaction. He does tend to digress, but if you follow his topics they can be enlightening. If you want to pass, you have to email him and always do your homework on time. He is truly a great professor.

Where to start.. Mr. Robinson is a very talkative man. He loves to get OFF topic and at times it can get annoying. Overall he is very helpful, caring, smart and explains what he wants from his students in details. I have learned to write better essays without any problems. I do recommend only if you don't mind the stories. He uses ALL his CLASStime

If you want to learn to write well. Professor Robinson is the way to go. Not an easy A but you will perform better in all of your current and future courses. Very nice gentleman. Kind and warm hearted. One of the best professors at Eastfield. Workload is steady but doable. I am a better student because of this man! An inspiration! Take this course.
