He is a fantastic teacher. He makes the class fun and interesting. Has a great personality and cares about his student. He really makes this class useful and purposeful. Not much homework at all, good lectures, and many good laughs.

Easy A! Professor Stout is a wonderful instructor. His assignments are super easy (HE LIMITS YOUR ESSAYS TO 1 PAGE OR LESS!) As long as you do the work, you'll get an A. The tests are based on the textbook, but you don't actually have to read them to ace the test! He is a super helpful instructor, and he responds quickly to emails. Highly recommend

This teacher is the best teacher i had so far in Richland and i had been taking classes on Richland for a year and all the teacher were boring and didnt teach well, and i though this class was a waste of time until i took and i learn to be more social and less stressful and i would signed up for his physc 2301 but his class is at night..

Professor Stout, loves what he does and he's great at it. You'll be reading a lot. We had about 3 journals, 5 quizzes, midterm and the final, and group discussions( they aren't as bad as they sound). You really have to know your stuff, his tests are pretty tough but doable. He also offered extra credit! Would take his class again!

I loved this class. It was online so there was no "attendance," just due dates, which professor Stout was lenient with. Everything was clear-cut and interesting. I had minimal issues with the technology and when I did Professor Stout was very quick to respond and help. Also, from the videos he lookedsounded attractivefunny (for an old guy).

After a rough experience with a previous teacher having Professor Stout as a instructor was truly amazing. At first I was not sure if Educ 1300 was going to be very interesting, because I was taking it because it was a requirement. But on the first day of class i knew he was different. His way of teaching and being open with his students is truly amazing. If anyone is planning to take an EDUC or PSYC course, Ron Stout is definitely the best option.

I took intro to Psych with him and I LOVED IT! His is so inspirational and LOVES his job. He gives opportunity for extra credit and makes class fun. He explains everything so well and is always there when you need him. His class was kind of hard, but if you do all assignments and test, you WILL get an A! I already signed up to take him again!

Ron doesn't stress much on grade as our major grades are from attendances. However, he expects us to know our stuffs. He gives amazing lectures, really funny and knowledgeable. Listen to his lectures, read some key points from the book, and you ought to do well. If he teaches any other classes, I will undoubtedly take him again!!

He emphasizes the socratic method and philosophy of education, what you learn is more important than any grade, what you learn comes from asking questions. Professor Stout brings the element of psychology into every class he teaches, this allows a level of understanding that few other teachers have.

Best class I took here at Richland. He made me want to come to school. He lets us choose what assignments we can do. He does have a few required ones but if you do them, you can pass with ease. This is a great class to take online if you need to! This class is very interactive but you get to choose which assignments you want to do by what grade you want to receive. The work is also veryy easy.

Ron was the greatest professor I've ever had. I took his American Minorities class. There were no quizzes or tests. He really emphasizes on learning through discussions and not by being heavily graded. A lot of the class material was opinion based, but everyone is respectful. BEST CLASS. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Ron respects, loves, and trust each and everyone of his students. I took him for a summer class, so lots of homework, but each piece of homework took five minute max as long as you were focused on it. On the first day we introduced ourselves using pronouns and preferred names, and he went out of his way to lecture near me for my recorder.

Impossible not to get an A in this class. He takes attendance points, so make sure to show up! He builds in many extra credit opportunities and is very flexible with his late work policy. Show up to class, be prepared, and submit all of your work and you will be just fine.

By far the easiest class I've taken at Dallas College. Professor Ron is very energetic and always makes class fun. It is not hard to pass his class, he gives clear instructions, and you just follow those instructions as you are told, and you'll get an easy A+.
