Statistics is not an easy class. However, he makes it as clear and easy as he can. He is a VERY GOOD teacher. I remembered everything from the lecture and didn't have to study that much at home.

Very helpful professor. He works a lot of sample problems to drive the info home and gives you an option to use a formula sheet during exams. If you don't use the sheet he gives you extra credit points.

Good teacher, definitely go to class, the book is a terrible reference. Allows you to use notes for test. Probability section is on e of the tuffer sections.

easy! well, I studyied off his practice tests. Dont even bother to learn from the book. i think its easy b/c im good in math; did have a 104 ave. layed back attitude, and cool. take him!

The class is alright. He does examples in class and has a practice test yet the test questions are a lot different than these. The tests are very hard even though he lets you use notes. Overall he is a nice man, good teacher, but just hard test questions.

Just go to class, and you'll do fine. You can use your notes on every single test and the final. This includes practice tests, everything. Just GO TO CLASS because without your notes you'll do horrible. I'm AWFUL in math and I got a B.

Great professor. Friendly, helpful - go to class, do the homework, the test material comes directly from the homework and classwork. Tests weren't that bad, however I didn't get to use notes for the tests like some students apparently did.

The class isn't that bad, he let's you bring in any notes you want to use on the test. I would go to class regularly b/c the book isn't helpful. Ask questions and he'll give the answers to the homework which is VERY similar to the exams.

Super nice guy! I think he's just so good at math he just leaves the rest of us unknowingly. If your strong in math you will be fine if not be ready. You can use notes on test which helps but is still hard.

Trys very hard to make it easy. He knows his stuff, he curves, drops the lowest test grade, and there is no homework. And he doesn't take attandence.

Statistics is a hard class to begin with, but he teaches very well. My GPA sucks and I pass his tests, but I also study hard and go to class every day. He's very fair, but you have to WANT to learn the material. Also lets you have 3 cheat sheets and offers extra credit.

Trust me I've taken Statistics with another teacher and you are lucky to have him. He is a great teacher and gives so many examples to help you learn the material. If you don't come to Stats class you will probably fail, so I think that's why he takes attendance now. He gives you three cheat sheets on each exam and 6 on the final.

Mr. Williams is a great teacher, he lets you use cheat sheets and he gives many examples. The class is not hard at all just as long as you go. Don't miss any notes!

Williams is great. Bus. Stats is not easy to begin with. But he wants you to get a good grade. For each test there is 20 pts extra credit and you can bring 3 sheets (front and Back) of whatever you think will help you on each test. Final you get 6. Hw is online and you can take it as much as you want. But you still need to study. I got an A.

Fair professer. You do have to work out the homework and go to class to understand the material, it is not just given to you. You get out of it what you put into it. He is available to help you out when asked.

Class is okay. He tries to be funny but he reminds me of Al Borlan from Home Improvement with his flannel shirts. If you go to class and write down every problem that he writes on the board and then make sure you have all of those problems on your cheet sheet, then it's an easy A.

I am in his statistics class this semester and I am enjoying it. I think he is very straight foreward and as long as you take notes you can use them on the exam. Math is not my strong subject, but I have an A in his class. I would reccommend him to anyone!

I thought he was very patient considering students with no desire to be in the class, and those who ask stupid questions in an attempt to irritate him. Never used the text book - used my notes to create cheat sheets. Tests are exactly like homework. Built in 20 points extra credit on all tests.

Mr. Williams does his job, and if you dont do yours as a student you should fail. Put forth effort if you want to do well. However, Mr. Williams drops your lowest test grade, allows test corrections that pull your grade up a lot. Also, he gives a 20% increase on some of the tests. About 90% of the people downgrading him caused their own fate.

He is a great professor. If you actually come to class and try then you will do just fine. I started off doing great and had an "A" but I slacked off and finally ended up with a "B". I should have got a "C" and was only one point away from a "B" so Mr. Williams helped me out since I was at most classes. He is very smart and very helpful. TAKE HIM!!

Mr. Williams was an awesome professor. I had questions every day and I asked him to help me work out the problems that were going to be on our exams and upcoming quizzes, and he worked them out for me. He was awesome and was always there helping me when I needed him.

He is very hard and unclear with what the test will be on. I made an A but most people failed his class. I already new the materrial. If strugling with math do not take him.

I love Ron! I've struggled with math my entire life and I passed with a C. As long as you go to him for tutoring, ask questions, and make an effort to do your homework, you should pass with nothing less than a C. I made Ds & Fs on the first few exams, a B- on the homework, and a C- on the final and he gave me a C because he said I tried. Great man!

His is pretty nice, but not the best professor in the world. The online homework often has nothing to do with what we went over in class, or what was on our tests. The tests realy aren't too bad, as long as you study. He is also always willing to help. I am not sure if I would take him again, though.

This guy is very nice and if you have questions he will answer them. He uses a tablet lap top an puts all the notes done in class on Bb and has extra credit on test. He is very fair clear spoken guy. I took his class over the summer.

He is weird as all get out. If you're awful at math I wouldn't recommend taking him. If you're good at basic algebra you'll be fine. I got a 98 in his class. But again he's weird and I dreaded going to his classes. He DOES take attendance and trust me, it sucked.

He's a cool dude--I've always been horrible at math and hate the subject, but he explains it very clearly and understandably. MyMathLab is the primary source of grades and we have more than one attempt to take them. I will always hate math but at least he loves what he does and is helpful.

Goes through notes fast, but puts all of them online. Really easy to learn yourself if youre decent at math. No attendance policy on syllabus, but takes attendance. Pretty helpful, lets students ask as many questions as they want. 3 formula sheets for tests, 6 on final. 20 question tests, so it's easy to get a bad grade if you miss more than 5.

he's a really nice professor. make sure you ask questions if you dont understand something. he DOES ask if you understand the question and if no one answers he will move on. i thought he explained things clearly

Williams is a bit of an oddball, but he's actually very nice, and very helpful. I failed his class the first time, but it's because I didn't ask for help or actually go to class. Unless you're a stats genius, you actually HAVE TO GO to class in order to get a passing grade. Also, he does some amazing extra credit during the summer sessions.

I had stats with him and I am so not a math person but still got an A-. He is really knowledgeable and very helpful in making students understand the material too. Stats is a tough subject but he made it manageable. You also get cheat sheets on every test. Don't skip class though because it can make a difference in your grade.

Math 1065 is the worst course I've ever taken. It is the reason for many students' failures and should be redesigned with more class time and less cave time. However, Williams is a great teacher and is there to help you if you ask for it. He is very thorough and quick with an email reply.

This class is pretty much done outside of class. Mr. Williams explains things well enough. If you need more help, he is there to help. But most of your grades come from the work you do in the math cave and how you do on your tests.

I thought he was a really great professor. Went through the problems and was pretty straight forward about it. Even showed a couple of extra ways to approach problems that you could use. Definitely go to class because well IT COUNTS and where most of your basic learning is done. He always asks if anyone needs further explanation after problems.

Professor Williams is a good guy, he tends to go faster than what the majority need in class but if you ask him to slow down he will do that for you. The best thing about this class is that he allows you to have a "cheat sheet" to write formulas or whatever you think you will need to use during a test. He's about as good as a math professor can get

Prof. Williams is an amazing teacher! He really breaks stats down into examples that you can understand and if you need him to slow down during a slide, he will do that. He lets you have a half page "cheat sheet" for each test which can have anything on it that can help you with the test. If you fail this class you just aren't trying lol

I hate that Mr Williams gets the rap he does, he is a very good stats professor. He is extremely knowledgeable in the subject matter, and is willing to help you if need be. His lectures are not the most entertaining, but it's hard teaching math to anyone. Only complaint I have is with Pearson Statlab, if you don't like online work, avoid.

I was able to spend more time with Mr Williams than usual, seeing as how I had to retake his class. None of this is to blame on his teaching ability, purely my first semester of not showing up to class. The second semester I had him, I missed only one day and paid attention to all lectures. Class is truly easy and I wish I could take him again!

He makes available 3 previous semester exams explaining each answer. TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THEM. He will use a lot of the same questions just with different numbers. Half page cheat sheet allowed, I recommend putting examples of how to do each problem on there. He isn't bad. Take practice tests and the previous semester ones, they are very similar!!

Stat is a very hard class but I worked really hard and was able to pull out an A. Ron gives out many practice tests that are very similar to the real test which is very helpful.
