Eventhough it wasn't such an esay class (test wise), i learned so mush in that class. I mean wow, i love that professor. She is really the one to take if u are willing to be there (in class). She is clear, and to the point, loved it!!

One of the best professors. Very passionate about her field. She is very thorough but she makes the course content interesting and enjoyable. Try not to miss a class because you would be missing alot. There are a couple of short papers to hand in and the midterm and final exams are multiple choice with a few very short answers. Great class!!!

I would highly recommend taking Professor Miles. She gives 3 exams that are all multiple choice and straight from your notes. The questions that are from the book she tells you, and she only makes you read a few pages from each chapter. She gives extra credit every opportunity she gets! And her classes are very interesting- you will not be bored!

She knows her material very well. Her lectures are clear. However, she is cold and distant. She also gets a bit annoyed when students ask her questions. In addition, she talks and jokes about her former students in class, which is unprofessional. She gives three exams (MCQ), and each is worth 1/3 of your final grade. Take her but don't expect an A.

2 exams plus final. You'll definitely need the book for the exams (free online). Approx 50 pages of reading for each exam. Read EVERYTHING in the book, no matter how minor you think it might be. She offers many opportunities for extra credit throughout the course. Pay attention, take notes, do the reading, study and you'll do just fine.

This class isnt an easy class, you need to do the work. but if you love psychology she will only reinforce that love. no homework, no papers. just 3 tests around 70 mc and 10-15 short answer. read the book, take notes, ur good!

I took Professor Miles for Abnormal Psych and it was amazing I didn't think I would have love this class as much as I do. I believe it has a lot to do with Professor Miles. No slides straight lectures but she repeats herself 3x and you can always make an appointment to meet with her if your are not understanding anything. She gives extra credit.

OBSESSED with her classes. She is the 3RD BEST PROFESSOR IN THE COUNTRY!!!!!! AMAZING!!!!!!! I absolutely love her class. I am so sad the semester is almost over!!!

RONA MILES IS THE BEST THERE IS! she is amazing, whether you're interested in psych or not, her lectures are AMAZING and you will learn PLENTY! This class isn't stressful, you're graded on 3 tests which are many multiple choice and fill-ins but if you go to lecture and read the textbook its BEYOND EASY. I HIGHLY recommend taking her.

She is very passionate. Lectures at very exciting. She is just the warmest person I've ever met. I love her. She teaches exceptionally well but she gets carried away with her exams. she can get a bit loud at times. Take computer to class because she gives a lot of notes and talks quickly. Highly rated and highly recommended.

Doctor Miles is the absolute best. Her class is so entertaining and she makes you want to learn. As long as you show up to class, avidley listen to her lectures and read the text book it is an easy A. I highly recommend useing the weekend leading up to the exams to remeber the material. Her test are hard, but not if you prepare well for them.

This was a great experience for me. Lectures were interesting and thought-provoking. There are 2 exams, a paper, and a group presentation. This is an important class for anyone going into social work or mental health counseling.

There aren't enough characters to describe how remarkable this professor is! Great lectures, super interesting content, and easy exams (as long as you take notes and do the required textbook readings, of course). I just wish she taught other psych sections. After that class, I almost felt like switching my major from Biology to Psych lol

Yes attendance is mandatory, but going to class really helps you learn the information. I am generally not fond of straight up lectures, but this is an exception in my book. She is able to keep my attention and I'm able to easily absorb info. Only read textbook pages she assign and take good notes.

This was, hands down, the best class I have taken at Brooklyn College. Miles inspired us all with passion, for tackling the apathy toward science, and for empowering us with our own ideas. Her teaching is infectious, and so is her warmth and interest in the students. If only more professors at Brooklyn College could be so cool and interesting 10/10

LOVED HER CLASS! Shes literally the best professor ever. Your entire grade is attendance and exams but the exams are SUPER SUPER fair . Come directly from lecture notes. Shes so amazing at teaching and she gives a lot of opportunities for extra credit. IF YOU HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO TAKE HER CLASS YOU REALLY SHOULD!!!

WONDERFUL Professor, her class is quite interesting and she has a clear and clean cut grading criteria. She will give you the format of the exams beforehand as well as a sample exam so you will do just fine on the exams if you study your notes and read the textbook. She also gives extra credit! I love Professor Miles.

Professor Miles is an amazing professor, her tests are a little bit tough, but she gives a review sheet for them all, so make sure you study them. This course made me super excited to go to college, because the lectures were so darn good. She is great at answering questions, and going more in depth with your questions.

This class was Extremely INTERESTING! I enjoyed her lectures. It was never boring and you never really want to miss her class. she gives extra credit every class. make sure you read before You go to class because extra credits were mostly from the chapters. You should be fine with her exams if You read and take notes in her class. 3 exams only!

If you pay attention in class, you WILL succeed. She teaches everything you need to know for the lecture part of the test. For the textbook portion, you need to read sections of select chapters (usually three per unit) and pay close attention to detail. Your grade is comprised of the average of three exams.

Hands down the best professor Ive taken during my time at Brooklyn College. Her lectures are super engaging and you can tell that she actually cares about every student. I had her twice and they were both the most interesting classes Ive had at BC, especially PSYC 3830. Wish I could take her again for another class.

This is an amazing professor. She is very kind and caring. gives you equal chances to past. Lectures are amazing as well, she adds videos to class at times. As well as make you laugh and help you along the way. Test are straight forward, everything in class and in the test book is the test. Over all she makes college easier.

One of the best professors at Brooklyn College easily. She genuinely cares about all her students and her lectures are interesting. There are no homeworks, just 3 tests that determine your grade. The tests are somewhat difficult but she also gives a lot of extra credit opportunities.
