GReatttt teacher, very easy class...open notebook tests?? how much better can you get???

Awesome teacher. He really gets into the classes, especially the ones that have to do with NY and our history. His tests involve a lot of writing, but if you take good notes, its easy to get an A in his class.

I'm glad to see that over the past 10 years that Ron has improved. He was a nice guy and very knowledgeable, but very boring. Tests are a bit hard if you don't speedwrite in class...but I got a B+ anyway.

By far, the easiest class ever! Open note book tests . You can copy down the entire text book in your book, and he lets you use it just as long as it's in your own handwriting. All you do is watch movies of past sports. Atleast 4-5 baseball movies and 4-5 football movies. Easy A! Take the class!

All we did was watch movies and take notes while we watched. He barely did any lecturing but when he did he made it interesting and informative. He's younger than most professors so he's more in tuned to our generation. Tests are all open book so you can use anything as long as it's in your handwritting. Want an easy A, take one of his classes!

GREATEST TEACHER EVER!!! WATCHED A LOT OF MOVIES WHICH ARE INFORMAL AND INTERESTING....MOVIES REQUIRE NOTE-TAKING, BUT THEY PAY OFF FOR THE OPEN BOOK TESTS WHICH HE SPELLS OUT THE CLASS BEFORE IF I REMEMBER CORRECTLY

Can't agree with most of the comments. Nice guy - but he should go teach high school. He had so much due at the end of the semester that I am convinced he actually read VERY little of it!

a really great teacher, wish there was more like him. i dont think its to easy because the tests are quiet long, he actually looks to pass students instead of fail them, a joy to have always in a great mood, very knowledgable, i just wish there was more like him

Great teacher teaches like he is in a good college dont care if u come to class or not as long as u come to the tests. tests arnt easy to u got to be in class and take like 10 pages of notes for ever tests. but if u take notes and read the book u should be set for the test.

One of the best teachers I have ever had. He teaches like a real college professor, meaning he does not care if show up for the classes as long as you show up for the tests and pass them. My particular class was even easier because all the tests where open notebook.

Great teacher and a very easy class, you don't have to come, but you want to. The films are great, the lectures are great, and he's great. Tests are open notebook essay tests, but very looooong so be prepared to write!

Easiest professor I ever had. You don't have to show up to class, he gives you the questions to the test, so all you have to do is just write down the answers in your notes and bring it with you when you take the test since its open notes. The only hard part is recopying your notes onto the test booklet. If you don't get an A you're a frigen retard

I had him two semesters in a row and talk about the nicest and easiest professor you can ever ask for. I hate history and I got an "A" and he made it really interesting. Open notebook test!!! You just have to show up to he classes when you need to take a test and take plenty of notes from the text!!!

this class is great even though you have to do alot of reading its still really easy.....even thoguh u dont have to go to the class unless its a test date its still a really fun class to go to

He was awesome to have in my first semester of college! Nice guy, and as far as the classes go? Interesting videos, and lectures, and open notebook tests! What more could you want? Just make sure you take good notes, and read EVERY chapter of the textbook.

So at first I didn't like him much. But I went to class and he started talking to me a lot and was fun, I felt really included whereas in most classes I'm always ignored. Always fun to talk about random **** after class too. Nicest guy, Best teacher. I'll leave a hint in my next comment on how to easily pass his class...no effort required!

Okay, so how to pass the class with no effort: show up. He will give you the topics for the test, and days of the tests. Go online to wikipedia.org. Search topic Print out notes ON LOOSELEAF NOT COMPUTER PAPER!!. Then clip into binder. Honestly I only took notes for ****s and giggles cause I felt bad. Got an A in the class cause you cant get an A+.

In short: Best. Professor. Ever. Open notebook tests (all 3 of them, including the final), doesn't take attendance, lets you have a bit of fun...just all around a great experience. I would *highly* recommend getting him as a professor for any of the courses he teaches. My only regret is that i'm finished with my history credits =(

A really good teacher, he answers any questions, usually lets the class out early, easy open notebook tests, and its impossible to fail this class, unless your a moron.

Very easy and nice professor. attendance not mandatory but you should go everything he says in the class is on the test don't really need go crazy reading the textbook if you go to class. Its open notebook test. only 3 test, no projects, and no homework. TAKE HIM

I took Sports in American History. Easy class . We watched the history of baseball it was great ,3 tests make up your grade all open notes. just take notes and you will get an A

Great class. Not only is he a good teacher but his class is very easy if you want it to be. I think i litterally went to 5 class' and got an A!! One of the best professors I believe I've ever had. The exams (3) are all open notebook, and are all on designated textbook chapters, but the textbook can be avoided if you attend class. Overall he's an amazing guy, I highly recommend taking his class.

This was my favorite professor of all time. I'm working in the field of sports so this man teached me alot. He's smooth, cool, funny, and very smart. I didn't want this class to ever end I swear lol. Just started his class and must say hes pretty cool. He doesnt care if u come to class or not bc he still gets payed.. you'll just miss alot of info and be lost pretty much. otherwise hes chill and not mean. i would recommend his class to anyone in need of a history course. the only thing is if u hate history then u screwed bc its kinda boring.. =]

Attendance doesn't matter but i suggest you to go. He basically implies what will be the question on the test. There are 3 open book test. A few movies-- are not bad. Go to class, yes it boring; if you go to class and take just a few notes (the text book did help but not necessary) YOU WILL GET AN A! Take his class!!!

he is by far the best history teacher ive had in a long time. he answers all of the questions you have, attendance isnt a big thing with him and a cheat sheet of tver ou want to have on it. he is a chill person to talk to and an amazin prof i highly recommend him

Took him two semesters ago, class was so much fun. I would have taken more History courses with him, but I only needed one and was graduating that semester. 3 exams with HANDWRITTEN cheat sheets allowed. No homework. Here's a tip: if you have perfect attendance and A's on the first 2 exams, you are exempt from the third exam. Meaning, you got an A!

TAKE NOTES on everything he says because his notes are what you're going to need for the CHEAT SHEETS he allows you to have on the exams. There are 3 exams. Do not rely on him exempting you from the 3rd test for good attendance and two A's, he doesn't always do it. He's as easy as they come. Extremely accommodating also. Take his class!!

I really like this professor, He's on your side. Easy to earn an A, and with minimal pressure. Honestly, this guy is the man. I think he may be a jets fan, but I can look past that because he seems to respect the giants too. Thanks for being awesome.

Had him in the Spring 2011. He is organized with the textbook from Christopher Columbus discovering America to the Civil War. He's pretty funny and has a good sense of humor.

This Professor is awesome. Stress free class environment, great lectures, and he makes the course clear to understand. All three of the exams are based upon his lectures but using the textbook can help any student with the notes. I highly recommended this professor.

Easy A. Attendance isn't mandatory. Funny teacher. Focus's on the history of New York more than the county as a whole. Tests topics are given before test. Book isn't used at all.

This is my first rating ever for any professor and I am finally graduating Nassau this semester.... out of all my semesters I can easily say that Cunsolo is simply the BEST. A friend told me to take his class so I did and even took his summer sports history class. 2 nice A's I'd take them both again. Now my sister is taking him for His103.

You have a chance to use a cheat sheet for all 3 exams. His class is a lecture class so make sure you write down everything he saids.

Take good notes because he lets you make a one sided paper cheat sheet. If you get an A on the first two exams he will tell you stop showing up and give you an A for the class(at least for my class he did) .He looks like a older Woody Harrelson

Easy A especially to fulfill history requirement. Take notes, read chapters, & make 2 pg cheat sheet (write small) for 3 tests total. Write info on each topic. Choose 3 out of 10 & 2 of 5 topics and write ALOT. Write Who,what,when,why,where,how,years. Prof is funny and energetic. One of best classes at NCC. Writing cheat sheets takes time!

Easy A, i should've done a lot better in his class. But he's a great guy and easy grader. Attendance doesn't matter, all of his test open book, one page cheat-cheats. because of those i passed his class. But honestly take him, he's actually worth the credit.

Knowledgeable Professor I wouldn't say it's an easy A but it's attainable. He allows a 1 page chest sheet back and front so write as small as u can. His tests are divide into 2 sections: part 1 he gives topics in class and u will choose 3 on exam, part 2: chooses from persons in each topic in the who, what,when, where,why section in book

He wants to give you an A. All you have to do is pay attention and take some good notes. If you miss class just go through the textbook a little bit. I only had to do that once and I was fine. Try staying up for the videos, but they're also easily found online so I just rewatched most of them before the exams.

I enjoyed Professor Cunsolo's class. The topics were clear, but sometimes he'd go off on a tangent. He really wants you to do well and is really receptive to his students. He's lenient to a point. His tests were essay style and not everything was covered in the classroom, it really is up to you to keep up in textbook.

very easy professor makes the class as easy as possible, He cares for his students and he is very funny. He does a lot of visual work and listening work. Barely lectures unless it's to comment on the short video he shows us. His test on short answered essays based on the terms in the textbook. Fair easy tests.

Amazing professor, watch movies every class period, does a review before the test and tests are open notebook. Youd have to be an idiot to fail his test tbh. Not too hard on attendance but just be there. Very nice and respectful and also very funny. Ima really miss him. Please if u see him available take him. Easy three credits .

My kind of professor. He does teach well but the textbook is another solid option, doesnt care if youre there or not. Show up for the tests (3 all open note) get a good grade and go home. He doesnt want to challenge you, he wants you to do well because he understands the other responsibilities of his students. 10/10 guy, good professor

such a great guy! extremly relatable and down to earth. Attendance isn't mandatory but to be honest he's a funny guy so class was a breeze. He has dad humor and says "ha ha" after he makes a joke and that makes me laugh more than the joke itself. highly highly highly recommend taking any class he teaches

Such an amazing professor! He is so funny and understanding. Attendance is not mandatory and there are 3 open notebook tests. His lectures are also very interesting. As long as you take good notes and do the textbook review questions, you will pass! I would definitely take him again!

Professor Consulo is an amazing History professor, his teaching is excellent he knows his history, he is funny , he is respectful , very inspirational I love his class I will recommended him to anyone who need to take history, The best history professor.

Professor cunsolo is seriously the best! i took him for U.S history and sports history and hes seriously so awesome, hes the funniest professor i know, gives open book tests, lectures are just movies, and hes such a down to earth guy, hes honestly a professor where if you went with him to a sports bar youd have such an amazing time with him!!

Professor Cunsolo was so genuine in his lectures, he really knows what he's talking about and he doesn't make it boring. Grade was mostly comprised of tests, if you attend class and take good notes then you will have no problems. I would definitely recommend him if history isn't your favorite subject because he makes it as painless as possible.
