Despite what others say,there is a guy in my class now that does not agree with the teach on anything. He is getting an A. Still don't take it if you are very closed minded and don't like to debate. otherwise it's an easy A.

I think he is a very good teacher and he is always willing to help students with problems they have out of class. He is one of the few teachers who actually cares about his students and will stand up for them and fight for them.

Very easy class. I learned alot, he does pick favorites, but you can easily be one of them if you participate in class discussions. I took him for 3 differnt classes. Highly recommend him!

Mr.Greene is a essay professor the work is essay, their are three books you have to read which are ok, tests are essay you can find the answers to the test on spark notes, but he kind of forces his way of thinking on people.

Great teacher! Come to class and speak up! Most of the work is your own opinion (tests too!) or group projects. Don't take to heart his comments, he's only trying to get your attention! Other than that, go to class with an open mind.

OK, he's a nice guy, but he should not say what he says because sometimes it's rude, I know he doesn't want to hurt anyone, but it does sometimes. He's way easy just read what he tells you to read and don't miss class. Be prepared to listen to him talk. He is funny. The books he picks aren't too bad

I have taken Mr Greene for five classes now. He is a great teacher. He lets you think for your self. all his work is group work very easy, his test are mostly take home and are completely opinion based.

3 film papers (1 1/2 pg each). 1 group project on book (5 pg paper) No tests... no textbook... watch movies A LOT. kinda boring just bc you feel like you're not really doing anything productive-- but it's bearable...

Greeat professor, the best I had at Valencia. He requires a bit of writing, but as long as you do it you'll get a good grade. He has some good discussions, and keeps the class pretty interesting.

Easy A if you do the work. Several short essays and presentations. He likes to have class discussions on things going on in the world/news. Nice guy, sometimes boring. If you go to every class you can exempt the final.

I love this professor. I do addmit that he is VERY controversial. He will definetly speak his mind on politics, religion, etc. Those subjects are "hot topics" for many people.i definetly c how some people have rated him as a jerk. but, academically, his class is a breaze . It is an easy "A" if u do his short and simple work.

His class was sucked pretty bad. Hated going, but it was mandatory, cause hell drop you after only 4 absents. Hes very opinionated and will shoot you down if he thinks your wrong, which he usually does alot. Overall the class wasnt to hard though, had a few group projects and a few film papers and that was it.

Greene is a great teacher. I agree he can be brutal with his honesty and perception of the world. But I believe he is that way because he is attempting to provoke thought into his students and create dialogue.

His mythology class isn't based on ancient mythology. It's actually a modern conspiracy theory class. If you're into that, great, if not, save your mythology credit.

Man I wish all my teachers were like him! He is funny and makes you think a lot seriously. I think people who are afraid to share their opinion and debate it shouldnt take this class. Yes, he's extremely biased in his views. But you know what? He isn't always wrong and they are just opinions. Just learn to back up your views completely and you'll win. That simple. Free thinking class; movies and discussions. Essay tests, but easy stuff.

He opens your mind and helps you understand whats going on in our world... You use the text book half the semester... The work is easy and if you come to class all semester you will exempt the exam... Go Greene...

Alright..this class is a complete cake walk. All tests are essay form and are open book and open note. There are 4 short papers, all easy. there were two powerpoint presentations that we had to give, easy as well. you basically have to TRY to fail his class. He talks way too much and doesn't teach you a thing. Good for easy A, bad if you wanna lear

His class is an easy A. All his tests are essay form open notes and open book. I took him for HUM 2250 for summer term B and you would think it would be hard because it's a month long class but it's really not. I went to every class meeting and got exempt from the final exam. He does talk a lot but who cares it's an easy A.

Cool class very laid back, fun, and interesting. Encourages class discussions, tests are open book most of the time or take home. Lots of movies, one group project. If you are never late or absent you don't have to take the final.

Let me make something very clear. The class is INCREDIBLY EASY! Everyone who reviews a negative comment is an absolute idiot. You show up to class on time and do the simple work and he will grow fond of you. If you are late, sleep, and slack off, you should question if you are ready for college. Don't miss a day, don't have to take the final. EASY!

Don't take a mythology class if you have a strong belief plain and simple. Professor greene is amazing. His lectures are informative. You go through the book in like a couple weeks, and the tests are short essay answers. If you read the book, which is very interesting, you will pass the test. His assignments are a piece of cake. Just read the book!

Professor Greene is very set in his way. You cannot take his class if you're a type a person who gets upset when someone bashes your religion. He bashes ALL religions. Overall though, he was a pretty great guy and an OK professor. If you are never late or absent from class then you don't have to take the final!

This is an awesome class, he gets your mind going. I definitely recommend him. If you miss class or if your late you have to take the final exam, so you definitely don't want to miss it. He may seem like he is bashing religion in the beginning but he really is just trying to get you to understand why you believe in things. So far its been good.

I love love this class! It's not really what I was expecting as the class is more about the mythology of life. Where the origin of myths come from; at one point I thought this was a class on religion. It's a class to help you realize why we have myths and how it effects our everyday life. I love teachers that show a passion for what they do!

Professor Greene really has been someone who opens your mind more, especially if you did not know much about mythology in the beginning. He teaches you about how it's important to question everything before you just accept things as they are presented. This class was one more of my favorites because it was truly thought provoking. He was great.

Honestly the best teacher I've had for a humanities class, he challenges you to think. Be aware though that he does challenge a lot of views, but that honestly shouldn't discourage you from taking his class, just have an open mind If you have PERFECT attendance(no absences and not a second late for a single class) you get a free pass on the final

In 20th Cent Hum, we did not write one single thing down this entire semester, except the 1st day with due dates of assignments. We wrote like 4-5 small papers and there is no midterm and if you show up to every class (on time) you are exempt from the final. We basically watched movies and videos every day. He tends to get off topic quite a bit.
