Allthough there were 11 tests, he will always be recalled for his humor & care.

The problem is, he will give you what you deserve, but nothing below C.

The class was very easy. All quizzes and tests were opened book. No homework, and written paper. Foreign students sometimes feel stressful and painful in learning a new stuff, but never in his class. In short, he will help you to do better. BE ON TIME.

A wonderful man! Just keep in mind that you do have to read on your own, and pay attention in class. Once you do this, you should be fine, and make sure you don't go to class late!

If you're not intimidated--and you do well--you can win yourself a real ally in this class. But for pity's sake, don't take the early-bird unless you're going to show up on time.

Open book quizzes- all of them. Very easy as long as you both read and go to lectures. Be on time though, and don't talk out of turn.

One of the best teachers I've had at Pace. He is always very helpful, friendly and approachable. Minimal work, just come to class on time, take notes, skim thru the chapter and get at least a 23 out of 30 on quizzes. I'd take his class every semester if I could even if it is earlybird.

Smart funny old school

He's a decent professor for psychology. But you NEED this guy for UNV 101. He doesn't want to do a thing. While other classes are writing papers and reading books, he only takes an hour of the two hour alloted time and doesn't give assignments. This guy is the BEST.

He is not hard, but he's tooooo confident. He was a former general in the military and it shows.

great teacher. gives good notes. show up to class and study slightly for tests and you'll defintely get an A. doesn't give anything lower than a C if you show up to class ON TIME. ask for help if you need it bc he provides it.

i loved his class- great prof. you NEED to take notes in order to pass his class. it's EASY if you do. he's a nice guy but if you come in late your grade WILL go down. tests are open book, doesn't matter though-you HAVE to study. i loved his class- take it!

This is my second class with Dr. Gruberg. In Intro he simply requires you to come to class, gives open book quizzes and tests. Big deal, it's totally worth coming to class. He's down to earth, is very funny and gives intertaining lectures with great analogies, i.e. like a reference to Harry Potter. He's really very kind and available.

I am taking two Psy.classes with this Professor at the same time and to tell you the truth they are the easiest classes.Just do your work,which is go to class take notes, read the chapter and dont miss quizzes. He takes out the two lowest grades and is very fair. It doesnt take more then common sense and good work ethic to get a good grade!

Professor Gruberg is one of the most kind, helpful, humane teachers at Pace. His quiet intellect and sly sense of humor make summer sessions worth attending. He is especially a must for anyone interested in psychology at all.

hes really funny in class. you have to come on time, but you will want to. class is fun, tests are fairly simple and open book. but dont rely on open book, cuz theres a lot of questions. overall, take him for summer classes, you will have a good time. also he is conservative, which is rare for college professors.

The class is based on reading the chapters, listening to him review the chapter, and having open/book quizzes and exams. He's amusing and gives fair grades. He hates lateness! He may poke fun at some students more than others. He cares how you do in the class. He goes by the book.

He is amazing!! He is soo funny and so helpful. He is looking to give everyone a good grade and the lowest grade you can get is a C as long as you show up. Take really good notes and pay attnetion and do good on your quizzes and it's an easy A. Make sure you come to class. He is hillarious and so nice you will want to come to class.

Pretty good prof. Easy to do well, not as easy to get an A, but very doable if you try. All quizes/midterm/final open book. Take good notes and pay attention and come to class on time. And if you do well enough on your quizzes and midterm, you get excused from the final. I def recommend taking this class, especially if psych major or minor.

He's ok I guess however his teaching skills are not too great. He strongly depends on the textbook. QUIZZES! Every single god damn week. You could just stay at home and read the book and receive the same knowledge. I would'nt recommend him.

his jokes will either make you feel awkward or fall asleep.... DONT BUY THE TEXT BUY THE STUDY GUIDE, I never read the text but used the guide and took the practice tests and got an A .. also do not be late!

This man is wonderful. He is a great teacher and very personable... hes funny and will bust on the students. He has open book exams and teaches it also, he is a smart man and his classes always fill up the first ten minutes of registration... i heard 2008-2009 will be his last teaching year so get on it

He knows what he's teaching and is good at it. He's straightforward- pass the quizzes, midterm, and final and get an A. Doesn't expect participation, but taking notes will help you pass even though quizzes are open book. No papers. Hw is to read the chapter. He's a grandfather figure for psych students. He reminds me of a koala too...

Easiest class ever! Got an A. Just take good notes and attend every class. He's really big on attendence and try not to be late or else he'll pick on you! He is funny at times but tends to be intimidating also...Overall he's a good professor

Dr. G is awesome. First college class i ever sat in but he will always be my favorite professor. If you choose to read aloud in his class he will raise your grade. Super funny and even though his jokes may be mean, he really is only joking, he will even tell you that hes only poking fun after class. If you take psych take him, however, he is retiring after this term

He's a really good professor. Attendance is key because you need the notes, what ever you do don't come in late! Midterm and final, both are open book so take good notes, and make sure you review the chapters. He also reviews a lot for the tests.

Absolutely amazing professor. Always fun and makes jokes in class. NEVER WALK IN FRONT OF HIM IF YOURE LATE TO CLASS. One of my favorite professors at pace university. Completely recommend him to everyone and everything alive. Take him before he retires cause he talks about it all the time, but never does.

Took him for PSY 110 & 111. Take him you'll enjoy the class & have fun. The best prof. ever! & very GOOD and nice person. I really recommend taking him. He jokes a lot. But, please, don't come late it insults him, if you don't respect yourself at least respect the prof. 1 MT & Final each 100Qs, open book & an hour long + 10 take home quizzes.

Dr. Gruberg is hands down the best professor !!!! He is knowledgable and funny and makes the class interesting! Just show up to class (as you should- your paying for it), take notes, do the quizzes, engage and you will do well. Dr. Gruberg only asks for one basic thing - respect- which is not unreasonable. I would take any class of his!!! Highly recommend!!
