He makes sense to me and I've gotten 90's and 100's on all the tests.

Mumbles, but do the the homework and you'll do just fine! It doesn't hurt to go to class either =).

Ok, country guy that mumbles a lot, but he breaks things down so that they can be understood. Cannot hear very well, but just repeat your question, and he has a great sense of humor. He doesn't check for homework, but do it and you'll be fine.

Dr. Persky is a decent teacher and often seen in a negative light. I've never understood why hard teachers, who push their students, are always given a "bad rap!" He's always willing to help those who seek his advice. Way to go Dr. P!!

He's a good guy...i've got an A in that class and i don't try too hard...i don't know what everyone is complaining about.

Yea, he can get a little boring but he really makes things so that you can understand them. Tests were easy, exactly what he said would be on them, the problems were clear...I don't know why everyone is so mean, he's great!...I hope I can get him again!

he's a great teacher that has an unfair advantage because of his mumbling- but he is really interesting in helping the students... tests are just as he describes, and if you go to class and do the homework, I can't imagine anyone getting lower than a B- if you need help, ask, and he'll help you!

I don't understand all the bad comments - he is VERY easy to understand, all you have to do is listen. He tells you exactly what will be on the tests, and gives you a lot of partial credit! Trys to make class fun, he has the best of intentions, one of the easiest profs in the math dept. :)

This class is extremely easy.He's awesome. He tells you exactly what is on the tests, gives numerous examples for every task, gives lots of partial credit, & will re-explain anything however many times it takes. He mumbles a little, which is kinda boring, but if you listen, you'll understand.

I really enjoyed his wierd humor, and his long descriptions. He might mumble and is quiet, but I followed him very easily. Most stats classes allow you to use cheet sheets but with Persky you don't really need one.

I took him for 110 and liked his style so i took him for stats too. He is really easy to understand, even though he mumbles (but hes half deaf so its not his fault). He never checked the homework (i LOVED that) His tests are the same difficulty as the stuff he does on the board and homework. Basically if u go to most of his classes, you'll pass

he does mumble but you can still understand him. he does as many examples as you want. all you have to do is study for the tests and you will easily pass the class.

For an old codger, he's not too bad. However, if you have a question, don't bother. His hearing aid doesn't work well. There's no cushion on your grade. If you fail a test, you are probably going to fail the class. Do your homework, don't slack off and it's easy enough.

I thought he was good. Very sarcastic and funny at times

He is deaf so he can't really hear what you are saying. He does a lot of repetition and if that is good for you then you are set. He is nice if you are respectful- if you a jerk then he will just blow you off and give you your test last.

He is a straight forward teacher who gives lots of examples for each new math concept. He's a nice guy that grades fairly.

He is a funny old man, who is easily ammused. classes are easy and go by fast, he gives no trick questions on tests, normally straight from the notes or past homeworks. He cant hear, someone will ask a question and he will look at the other side of the room. He gives many examples of the problems and is a good teacher..... Keep it up Slim P

Yall need to get off P's nuts he's the man! just throw him some respect and he'll throw some back at you. There wasn't a Monday Wednesday of Friday all semester that i didn't look foreward to hangin w/ P Slim as i refer to him. I'm pretty sure he's a baller at heart and used to run it back in his day. Dont hate on the man he's a good teacher

Cool guy. Can hardly hear, but he's helpful and a good teacher.

I like Professor Persky. He's old school. He just teaches and then gives tests periodically. He doesn't ever collect the homework, but do it anyway. It will help with the tests. He can't hear very well, but he will go out of his way to listen to and answer your questions. Overall, the class isn't too difficult.

Hes pretty cool. As long as you dont act like an idiot and actually listen to him then youll be fine. He explains his stuff good and if you listen then youll be fine.

Very relaxed guy. He explains the subject matter fairly well. If you have any experience with geometry in high school this class is an easy A. Your only grades are four tests, but the material is fairly easy

Extremely nice man. I don't understand why people are bashing him, I think he teaches the information quite well. He tells you exactly what are on tests and he doesn't try to trick you on them either. This class is an easy A.

nice guy, teaches calc, which is a hard class for people who havent had it before, so people tend to blame their struggles in calc on him rather than on the difficulty of the subject, and the fact that they don't do the hw because he dosent collect it. He explains well, and although there is only 4 tests they are easy if you paid attention in class

Really cool guy. If you take notes / pay attention to the examples, its an easy pass. Ide recommend him.
