Great guy, but gets sidetracked too easily. He's had to restart some of his long-winded speeches a couple times because he's gotten so side-tracked he had to start his speech over again.

He's a cool teacher...don't be afraid to take him! Plus, he usually let you leave early (like 15-20mins early) if you do your work early!

helpful and fun guy. class will always be at least somewhat interesting and fun. he lets you out early and treats you like a college age students, unlike some profs who act like you're in 5th grade! ron's awesome. his class is a great experience!

ron is very helpful. besides his class being purely fun, he's a good teacher who has a different approach. he makes you WANT to learn with his laid back approaches and down to earth attitude. TAKE THIS CLASS...YOU'LL LOVE IT!!

Ron's really a great guy, and has great courage. He came out of the closet last week, and I think that speaks a lot about his self-confidence, that he's willing to openly say such a controversial thing in front of his students.

Ron is the Shizzle. I was there for his First and second semesters teaching. When he came in...we thought he was a student. During that time, we used to hang out at perkins, before I went into the army 3 years ago. Havent seen him since.

He is by far the best english teacher I have ever had. Very respectful to the students and he has not forgotten what it is like to be a student in college. If you can take him for anything, please do! You will remember him as how you wish all professors were.

i cant stress the fact that ron is the collest teacher you will ever have.. if you dont take him your the fool.. Lets you out early, easy to talk to, easy to get an A, you can get an F on every paper and still end up passing his class with a B, if you do teh re-writes.

This class would be so much better if he didn't smell like a farm animal most of the time. I mean seriously...does he really sleep in straw like he claims?

Taking Ron's class will make you a better writer. Ron is one of the most articulate and fun teachers I have ever had. He is very accessible and will review your essay with you as many times as you want before the due date, meaning that you have every opportunity to earn an A. Even if you don't enjoy writing, you WILL enjoy this class.

mr. roger's class is such a crappy class i have him for english 102. he's horrible, he smells bad, always tells us that he accepts bribes of krispy creme doughnuts or money. Reminds me of the guy Fred Rogers from Mr. Rogers neighborhood

It's impossible to fail this class. He lays out exactly how he wants the papers written and exactly how to form every paragraph. He's a helpful teacher if you ask. Class never lasts the full time length. Also, if class is 3-4:20 and you show up at 4:10, you'll get credit for being there. Very easy class and easy teacher.

It has been an absolute pleasure to take this class with Mr. Rogers. He is incredibly clear as to the format essays need to be written and will spend time and answer any question asked. I am a little sad that I will not need to take any more English classes with him after we finish this semester. On an unrelated, non-educational note.. hes cute!

Professor Rogers is one of the best educators at LCCC. He has been my instructor twice, and both times he exhibited a thorough understanding of the subject matter that he was teaching. He is very interesting and extremely articulate. I could have listened to him lecture all day.....

He was awesome!! and very helpful. Just need to show up for class and you'll understand everything. He also is funny. I had him for a night class and still got enjoyment out of the 2 and a half hours!

One of the BEST teachers at LCCC! I cannot express myself enough. Ron is the most HELPFUL teacher you could have. He expects you to ask questions if you're stuck. He is a calm and easy going guy. Humorous and a nice person to be around. He cracks good jokes and makes the class lighthearted but serious. AMAZING teacher. (And yes, very "hot"!)

Too bad he has a girlfriend.

Listen, Ron is flattered by the comments about him being an awesome prof, and a great looking guy, but he's got a family at home that he loves very much. His girl, and his daughter are his world. If you want a great teacher, then Ron's your guy. His class is fun and you will learn a lot!

Great Teacher! Highly Recommend. Never had a full class. Grading is little tough somethimes, but explains content clearly. Alos, lets you curse in class and in paper as long as it is appropriate and you can call him by whatever name you want.

RON IS THE MAN! he tells you EXACTLY what is expected of you, he is really laid back, and really funny. I love taking this class. All of these negative comments are b.s. This is one of my favorite teachers, ever. If you have to take 101, which you will. Take this class!! :]

Ron is an awesome eng-101 professor. I got an A. He was extremely easy. Really helpful. Talked until the end of class though. NON-Stop until ten minutes before when it ususally ended. But who doesn't love Ron? Really funny. You'll have a good laugh.

A nice enough fellow with a real passion for teaching, with more focus on lecture material than on the textbook. The only downsides are that the class moves pretty quickly, and he is a voracious cannibal.

He's a great teacher and had a fun time in his class. He does tends to take jokes too far though. Just remember if he asks the class if you want to see his tie trick just say NO! Last time he tried the building smelt like burnt popcorn for a week!

Ron is a gem of a teacher. His grading is thorough, but boy does it whip you into shape. I always had a big head when it came to writing, so I felt humbled by all the red ink I saw on the papers I would get back. I'm a better writer because of him.

Mr Rodgers was amazing. Period. I wish he was my own father or uncle or son and wish he was in my life for more than just one class. He was such an inspiration. I would have thanked him in person if he taught in person.

I initially had a fear of English due to a previous bad experience, and while he can definitely be a tough grader, he gives you feedback that helps you improve significantly. My first paper I think I received a 64, but by the time the class ended I was getting all 100s. He even encouraged me to submit a paper I wrote to the administration.
