this guy is an easy A, he give you a practice exam before your final exam, while the practice exam is the same as the final exam, just different data. And he gave us a party after the mid term, go for him, he is a cool guy too

You will hardly get any professor like him in Baruch. In order to do well you have to attend class, can skip three home-works. To get full credit 70% of homeworks has to be correct. One midterm 25%, hw25%, attendance 10% and 40% final. Everything comes from the practice test on the midterm. Final is departmental. Cares about students. Take him.

He is an easy going professor who does his best to help you but he does not prepare you for the final, so be warned. I got a 90 on his midterm and then did terribly on the final and ended up getting a C+. The midterm is worth 40% and is incredibly hard so keep that in mind.

He is very easy going, lenient grader, cares abt students and stay after class if u have any question. Midterm comes from the practice test that he gives.Try to do well in this bcoz final is departmental. Explains the material very well so make sure u attend all the class. Take him. U'll not regret. Easy material and he doesn't make it any harder than that. Notes are very thorough, well-organized, and helpful. If you can take him, then take him. As far as professors go, you can do much better than him.

At first i thought he was extremely arrogant but then i understand why, you will learn a lot in his class, super clear , just follow instructions and be on top of homework and practice exams if you want a good grade. He responds email always, super helpful. Im just very happy to know that there is someone that still care about students.

This class was challenging for me but I am happy I took course with Professor Sabban. From what I've heard he's actually one of the easier Stats professors at Baruch. He tells you what problems to study for midterm and final and lets you make your own formula sheet. Also gives you opportunity to retake midterm. I put in the work and got an A.

Took this class a few semesters back. He explained everything crystal clear and very willing to answer questions. Even though it is a statistics class on Saturday, I can pay attention to it 90% of the time just because his lecture was so clear.

ridiculous grading policy set by the department so only the top 33% get A's. even if you have an A average, you might end up with a b. he gives you the questions beforehand so everyone does well on the midterm and final, so you never know if you'll become one of the unlucky ones stuck with a b. he has an attitude. but at least the exams are easy

The professor is amazing. He genuinely cares for his students to do well. He gives you all the possible questions that may be asked on the exams - study them well in and out. Lectures do not matter. You're more graded on how much you practice. For those who say the class was hard, it's unfair to blame him because you didn't practice enough. The solutions are all posted online and he even gives you ALL the midterm and final questions well in advance and gives you a lot of extra credit. What you put in is what you get.

Easy A for me. Know how to the practice midterm and final and you'll be solid for the midterm and final itself. Homework you just need a passing grade for full credit. Otherwise you're good for the class. Teacher is good in teaching the material since he shows you all the Excel tricks. Know them and you'll be solid. Work a bit and easy A

Took his class on Sunday from 9-12. The class is not that hard, 10 homeworks throughout the semester, a midterm, a final and 3 pop quizzes. You only need to pass 2 pop quizzes out of the 3 to get full credit for them. Gives a practice midterm & final well beforehand. As long as you put in a bit of effort and do the practice exams, you are fine.

He, himself, not a bad person at all. As far as being a professor? He stumbles over his words and seems to be mentally disorganized, which can make the material difficult to process. However, he does clarify when asked. He does care. Do the work and you'll do well. He can be a bit blunt sometimes, but people need to stop being so sensitive.

Very straight forward as to what he expects. Very lenient with the course and allows you to make mistakes along the way and still get a very good grade. Just do the homework and try to speak in class and you'll have a very easy time.

The material can get confusing and he tries his best to make it simple. Take him! Just do statslab hw and do the quizzes every class and youll be fine. I did terrible on both final and midterm which were 60% of my grade yet I got a b- he definitely curved. He gives extra credit questions in class that he adds to your final grade. Take him!!

Since moving online, Professor Sabban has been the most unproblematic and understanding professor I've had. He makes learning online not as tedious and helps you learn what you need to learn. Never any issues in reaching him and always provides useful resources to study from. Definitely worth taking the class - even if it is on a Sunday at 9AM

The class was very straightforward and he made it much easier than what other profs would do. There are the weekly hw assignments, midterm, and final which are all on pearson. He derives his test questions from the practice tests and tells you exactly what kind of questions will be on the test. In addition, he even shows you exactly how to do them.

Easy and straightforward class! Homework, midterm, and final are worth 1/3 each. The professor tells you what kinds of questions are on the exams and prepares you for it. He also teaches you how to solve these questions using excel. This class is probably easier than other stat classes. Nice Professor!

Prof. Sabban is always prepared for class and takes the time to explain if you do not understand the workings. He values his students input and maintains an environment that fosters learning. He prepares you for his exams, pay attention and you WILL pass. The Homeworks on StatsLab are quite simple.

I think prof Sabban really cares about his students. We have mylab hw due every week. He sometimes extends the due date for us. His 3 hr lectures tend to be a little much fore me but he records it and he really tries to explains the materials as thoroughly as he can so that we can understand it.

This professor is very caring when it comes to the homework/midterms/final. He extends the homework for an extra week! How can you go wrong with that? 3 hour lectures may be a bit long but his class is interesting and explains a lot of the material. Great Professor, deserves a raise

Get the textbook and use the Excel Guide Workbooks if you want to understand more. He cares about students and classes are helpful. Unfair that we had class once a week... so it was a lot of material to cover. Weekly homeworks aren't insanely hard (if you use the excel templates). Long midterm and final, but practice test are INSANELY helpful.

out of all the statistics professor I'm so glad I registered for his. TRUST ME AND TAKE HIS CLASS even if its a 3 hour class. he makes life so easy by letting us use excel and showing us the formulas, and the practice test mimic exams so its extremely helpful. he does give weekly hw but he does it with us. also he's actually funny.

Professor is GREAT and laidback. However, topics would be harder as it goes on. 1 midterm and final. It's in-person, but test are online in the computer lab. Can use cheat sheet, but also midterm and final questions are similar to practice questions that he assigns. Would recommend taking this professor with the knowledge and understanding

Professor Sabban was the best prof I've had in zicklin!! Stats is a very difficult class but he made it very fair by teaching us a lot of the stuff through excel. He allowed us to use cheat sheets for the midterm and the final. Even though the class was on a sunday morning, it was so worth it! and saved my gpa. Also very understanding.

If you want to pass with a good grade and understanding, do not even consider not taking him. The class was early Sunday, be on time, but it was worth it.

Professor Sabban is one of the greatest professors I've taken so far. Lectures are not that hard if you pay attention and review them once per week. He will also go over the homework questions in class to make sure you understand the topics and concepts.

Easy class and homework! the midterm was online and very similar to the practice midterm SUPER EASY! The hardest assignment in this class would be the FINAL EXAM! otherwise, he's a chill guy.

Prof Sabban was amazing! I truly feel the only reason I did so well in this course was because he was the professor. He allowed us to use a cheat sheet for the midterm and the final. Good Professor! All assignments are online. I did great on hw/quizzed & midterm but I totally failed the Finial Exam. It was on me I didn't go to classes in person, but he did record his lectures! And he would open up late hw if you emailed him. Helpful, I would take him again.
