Very clear lectures. She gives you photocopies of her lecture notes, which you can just add to. Tests are pretty easy...a lot of common sense. Attendance is 1/6 of your grade, so don't blow it off. Opportunities for extra credit.

Don't buy the book! Lectures are boring since she only reads off of her notes that you have infront of you. But if you can stay awake in class you'll do fine. Every question on the tests is in your notes! Offers alot of extra credit that are easy to do. ARGUE answers to tests at all times, I went from a B to an A on the final b/c of arguing =D

This teacher is really into teaching her own beliefs. During a couple of her classes she hypnotizes students, does chanting, meditation,etc. She gave me the creeps. she is really into changing peoples "misconception" she calls it, I call it beliefs. She doesn't teach from the book, she uses her own notes.

Great teacher. I love the lectures. I learned more about LIFE in her General Psych class than I did in any other class put together. She has a great way of staying objective while giving her opinion, and at the same time teaching her students how to be open-minded.

Very cool lady, funny too, explains things well and gives you all the notes you need, great teacher.Only one thing, sometimes our class had some probs with the tests, cause the answers varied from what she gave us in the notes....but we all complained and she realised that the questions/answers were unclear so she gave us the points.

The tests are based on class notes. It's important to be punctual (attendance is scored) and add to the notes (packets) that are provided. You will need to study the notes at least three times, before a test, to gat an A. The students that perform poorly, miss classes, show up late, and think they can pass with minimum effort.

Interesting professor. She knows her stuff and gives you real life examples to help you understand it better. Don't buy the book because she gives you the notes that will be on the test. Easy A! And the last two test are basically on common sense. She is the best!!!!!!

She gives us alot of notes, goes over it and evethough it makes sense, you have to do alot of studying to ace the test. She doesnt do review for the test and therefore you are own your own for the test which is almost 100% of your grade.

Shes an okay teacher, very biases to her own beliefs. Don't bother argueing shes stubburn. you can argue ur test grades if you have a good excuse for why you put your answer. and her child psyc and human dev is the same exact class material

She speaks with a purpose in her voice, even when shes having bad days. Good if you learn better by notes. Reading the text helps alot. Its very interesting and shes fun to talk with.

Ms.Rothschild was an ok teacher. All the tests came from these handouts she gives out and you fill in some of the rest while she lectures and thats it. I would reccomend her

shes not "HOT" lol shes like 70...but she IS a great teacher!! I didnt buy a text book and still got an "A" She makes copies of the notes for the entire class, if you study those, you will get an A. She also takes points away for every absence. But its worth it to just go. If you miss a class, u miss a lot of info and point towards your grade.

DON'T buy the book she gives out handouts.... and the test are about the handouts, nothing on the book is on the tests... tests are fair but u must memorize every packet she hands out( their about 15 pages each)

Mrs. Rothchild is absolutely awesome. I've never had a better instructor. I highly recommend her classes! It's mandatory to attend class (seeing how it is part of your grade) but the tests are self explanatory, there are no pop quizes, nothing that wasn't covered in depth and it's also very nice that she goes over all the tests.

Class was very interesting and she's a very nice lady. She goes out of her way for every student. There were so many slackers in my class and she gave them so many chances. She wants students to succeed. I really enjoyed the class.

Professor Rothschild is excellent I would absolutely recommend her. The test were pretty easy just study her hand outs and you'll be fine. she gives extra credit! and attendance is part of your grade I ended up with 110% as my attendance grade and extra helps a great deal. dont buy the book she teaches off her packets it's kinda silly because you can read the same material to yourself without going to class but I think she knows that so she makes class mandatory to count as another test grade. Go to class, memorize the packets & its pretty easy and if you dont do well on the tests you can always do the ectra credit

Just finished this class and I really liked it. Rothschild is strict on you coming to class and it counts for a test grade. DO NOT BUY TEXT BOOK. She gives you notes that you print out. She is a great teacher but don't take this class if you are not going to study. The packets are on average 18-30 pages a test. 5 test in all

Classes can get boring. All she does is lecture, which is basically her reading the notes she has you print the day before class. I didn't even open the textbook. i was scared at first to take this class. i am so glad i did at first she will come off intimidating but she is one of the most loving and interesting psychology teachers i have met .yeah you have to study hard to pass the test but its college ! she gives no classwork only test. i am taking her again because she is amazing

Her class exactly "hard", but the fact that she pretty much gives you the notes, it's hard to retain the information. You kinda have to find out your own way to study them because the book is kinda useless. But she's pretty sweet and there for you even though she comes off as mean and rude. she is an amazing teacher. she gives you a test review before every test which is almost exactly like the test. there is alot of reading to do , so if you dont do that you will be lost. she gives many chances for extra credit.

It's difficult if you don't study because your grades are from tests; aside from some extra credit offered. It is a lot to study but this class has taught me to develop better study skills. I just don't like it when she rushes through packets when the class is behind and needs to catch up. If you have good study skills, take this class.

Professor Rothschild was an amazing teacher. I took her online Abnormal Psychology class at Saint Leo University. Passed with an A+. You write a paper but each week you turn a piece of the paper in which makes writing it so much easier and less hectic. I also took her again for Psychology of Learning.

Her spirit is beautiful and I honestly wish I could have her as a mentor. The notes mirror the tests and, at least for me, she had my attention. Her personality can come off a little harsh at first but that's bc she's a no BS woman! Professor Rothchild is one of the best teachers I ever had in BC. She only give 3 exam which are to answer 3 or 4 questions. You must answer each question with two paragraphs. And also she do discussion in class which can help you boost your grades. All you have to do is give your opinion to the subject shes talking about. I promise take her.

Really great professor, but the class is VERY lecture heavy, and the lectures are the only source of info apart from the notes. The grade was the average of three tests but the tests were really easy because all the information was covered in the notes and the lecture.
