she know a lot about the class, hard to understand when she talks, but she is easy going and helpfull

I do not understand how students think bad about this teacher. I have the fortune like her to speak 2 and 3 languages, and she speaks english. She is the best teacher, very flexible. Nice lady. took her for Medical Terminology for Office. Now this teacher is SUPER easy. She gives Study Guides that are the EXACT test! GIVES ANSWERS for the study guide so it is an EASY A+!!! I recommend her, she is EASY! honestly i didnt even use the book, for study guides i just looked it up online lol. Her accent is heavy though.

All group work . she teaches the chapter in class, no homework. It is all group worksheets. Teaches like a high school class. Very easy. You WILL use the book every class so get it. She is also very nice and helpful. Get her, she is awesome!

She is very nice, she gives you practice tests for every test and give you the answers after the review. The tests are based on the practice tests.We had 10 test, plus 1 midterm and the final. Final is not cummulative. The class time get's kind of boring sometimes, but is worth going. You really dont need the textbook, you can use the library book.

She's nice, and the tests are the exact same thing as the practice tests she gives out every week for each chapter. All you have to do in order to get an "A" in this class is learn to memorize. Thats it, nothing else. There are things she doesn't seem to know that well on the material though. But overall it's a good, easy, informative class.

She is so nice and she will help you, but you have to ask. Each week she gives you 2 practice test and then she chooses 50 ques from those pract tests and test u on it. Well I had her for a flex start class so thats how it was, reg class may be 1 pract test a week. But thats it, u just study that and its the same thing on he actual test. Take her!

Chaves was great, ya she uses power-point but so do alot of other teacher. Her tests are super easy just do the practice tests and you have all the answers. Over all I would defanitly take her class again

One of my favorite classes. When i began this class i didnt know anything and by the end i had it all down. Everything is straight out of the book. BE SURE TO print and DO the Practice test out it will come in handy. I wish i had more teachers like her.

She is a very good teacher. Tells you exactly what you need to know for the test. Gives you a packet to study from and picks out 50 questions from there. If you put in the time to study...you will do well on the tests because you basically have the questions and answers before. She is funny but serious about her job too. She was one of my favorites

She makes the subject very easy to understand. She really understands that medical terms is a different language. She has review packets for the chapters that once you complete, you can get the answers from her and that is where the tests questions are taken from! Easy to pass and easy to understand. Plus, she is a nice person too.

Very nice woman!! Honestly you don't need the book. She gives you homework & and goes over the answers. Once a week you will have a test thats exactly like your homework worksheets. I open the book probably 3 times, all you have to do is go over your homework and memorize it for the test. If your not a good memorizer, this could be a hard class.

Very good teacher! you DO NEED THE BOOK! in order to study and complete the homework packets! ALWAYS do homework because she grades you for having it in class. Not a hard class@ ALL! Her test are EASY (I mean this!) Has a slight accent but is not hard to understand what she expects. There is some classwork(hw) & over 6 Test, midterm& final.Grading scale is a little different but an A is attainable!There are other HSC professors out there that are easy but she is easy as well!Take HER you wont regret itâ?¦

TAKE HER! She gives you the questions that will be on the test, in addition to the correct answers! She knows the material well. Show up to class or else your grade will suffer. She is great. I would highly recommend her to anyone !

Loved this professor! She's down to earth and explains the chapter well. Uses slideshows during class & gives packets for homework. Just like every class, you have to work for your grade, participate in class, and study study study for the exams. Overall, I enjoyed this class and would definitely take this professor again.

Mrs. Chaves is great. She is extremely knowledgeable and very nice. I didn't think I would enjoy going to class as much as I did. There are 5 tests, not including a midterm and a final. She gives you study guides & answers. Do your homework, participate in class, and study for tests. With that advice you shouldn't have a problem getting an A.

What a great teacher! You actually have to study for the class but Dr. Chaves was a great teacher! Super funny and very nice! Would recommend her to anyone and everyone looking to go into the medical field!!

Fantastic, Hilarious teacher. Prepare to work for an A, but really not a tough class. Think of it as learning a new language. Extremely helpful to take this class with A&P. Do not skip class and be sure to participate. Tests are very easy if you do all of the homework. Its amazing how much you will learn in this class.

Dr. Chaves is a pretty easy to teacher, she gives out a good study guide for each test and the test are all multiple-choice. There were a lot of tests over the semester's, so you do have to do a good amount of studying, but if you study you can get in A easily.

Great professor, easy and clear criteria. When it comes to test and quizzes, make sure to actually do the hw bc it's really a great indicator of what the test is like. She's very understanding and is willing to answer any questions concerning anything relating to the medical field. For the first 2 weeks or so, you'll used the book, then never again

She has a thick accent that is hard to understand. The whole class is a little hard, but she gives you the test questions ahead of time so all you have to do is memorize them. Your most important grades are from the test and classwork, all the questions come from the answers she gives you. So you don't need to understand her lecture anyway.

Study Study Study the practice quizzes because that's all you've need to know to get an A on every exam. There are 50 question multiple choice exams every two chapters. Have many days to take it. No graded Hw, only classwork and exams are the thing she is concerned about. The grading scale is higher so that's something to keep in mind when studying

She doesn't really teach, so if you're expecting to learn in class then don't sign up. If you're good at memorizing, then you'll get an A easily. She gives us all of the test questions before the test (in the form of a "practice test") and all you have to do is remember the answers. There are also online quizzes but they're easy to get a 100 on.

Professor Chaves lectures off the book, you feel as if you are almost wasting your time showing up to class but if you're good at memorization and want a class based off this take her! Study all practice tests and you'll pass easily with an A...

Dr. Chaves is very efficient she makes you work for it , but she helps you along the way. She is a great professor and I enjoyed her class.

The class isn't on a typical grading scale so be aware of that. If you study for the class you should be fine she is a great teacher and kind of funny.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED PROF. CHAVEZ!!! Her study guides have a lot of questions but it is exactly whats on the test, and helps you learn the material. She is awesome and kinda funny. Study hard or you won't pass. Make note cards its the best way to study for this class. Plus I made some quizlets. Just look up the title of the chapter. You're welcome.

For first time Spanish class attendees, this textbook is NO HELP whatsoever! Thankful that Profesora Florenz is very kind and helpful. Online chatroom, Cafe Latino, for peer help and questions is USELESS! Loved the instructor though! BE ready to work for the good grade!

I really loved her, she's a bit unorganized and its all lectures, but she gives a study guide for each test THAT IS THE EXACT SAME QUESTIONS ON THE TEST. I got 100 on every chapter test. The Hw can be a bit much, but it makes your study guide so worth it. Easy A especially if you aren't so good in Science. I adored her honestly.

There aren't really any assignments to complete throughout the course. That being said, tests and quizzes do greatly impact your grade. The tests aren't that hard, Dr. Chaves provides a study guide that is the same as the test. They answer student emails fast and are willing to work with you if you're having technical problems.

TAKE HER FOR AN EASY A! Entire class is quizzes and tests (one of each every week). Don't watch the lectures, look up the practice test answers (all on Quizlet) and put them in a google doc, and use Ctrl+F on the tests. All answers are the same. Most quiz answers are online as well. Grades slow and isn't a good teacher, but her class was so easy.

This class is mad easy, the only thing is she doesn't respond fast at all if you have a question, you don't need to order the book, it's up to you though. (socratic/quizlet friendly)

Not much to rate the professor since everything is online. Easy class since all the quizzes/test answers are online (quizlet). Be careful for wrong answers on quizlet though so I always double-checked.

Such an easy class. As others have stated, you can find all of the answers for tests and quizzes on quizlet using Ctrl+F. Don't bother buying the textbook like I did. Never used it once. Only got a B because I missed a test and could've easily gotten an A. If you need an easy credit take this class but don't expect to walk away having learned stuff

Easiest class I have ever taken, one quiz & test a week. Don't buy the text book, I did not use it once. Everything is online but she also provides great power points. DO THE PRACTICE TESTS FIRST!! They are the same questions on the regular tests so you can just reference it when you take the real thing. She seemed very nice, great online class.

Not that bad of a class considering science is one of my weaker subjects. Make sure that you do the practice tests since she takes those questions and puts them on the actual tests. The summative quizzes were a bit difficult though. Overall, make sure you do the practice tests.

This was one of the easiest classes I have taken. There is a lot of reading to do and although the practice tests are not graded or for extra credit, you'll pass the test easily if you do them. The questions on the practice tests are on the tests. Every week there are two chapters to read, two practice tests and one quiz.

By far easiest class I've taken online. The textbook is super easy to follow but you could also just search everything up. Multiple attempts on homework too.
