Very nice and easy teacher. Took her class 3 times and loved it. She teaches AMH2010, amh2020, and euh100. Book is very rarely because she reviews for tests. Best class ever!

I loved her class! She has a great personality and she makes lectures fun. Tests are easy, just go to her reviews...she practically gives you the entire test.

Pretty easy class. No one should get lower than a B. Only three tests I believe and a half page journal per day. Not a very fun class, yet not boring. She let's us out early every day. Doesn't seem very intelligent.

BORING! Reads directly from notes no enthusiasm..Very EASY however gives review word for word what will be on the test. Dissapointed though because I enjoy History but dread comming to her class.

She's probably one of the nicest professors I've met on that campus...she goes over everything in class twice, is very helpful, and is very concerned about her students. The lectures are boring depending on how interested you are about the topic in the first place, but I would definently recommend her.

Easy A, however, be prepared to not learn anything and be bored out of your skull even if you love history. She took periods and events in history that I've been facisnated with most of my life into drudgery.

Really nice! Slightly disorganized when she's giving lecture, but not hard to follow. In the summer term she GAVE US THE QUESTIONS ON THE TEST (Don't know about other terms). Super easy.

MS BILLERA IS A GREAT TEACHER, SHE IS EASY AND HELPFUL. ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS COME TO CLASS LISTEN AND TAKE NOTES. ON HER REVIEW SHE GIVES THE QUESTIONS ON THE TEST TO THE STUDENT. OVERALL SHE IS GREAT. SHE LIKE TO GO OVER THE DAILY MORNING PAPER WITH HER CLASS AN GET THERE IMPUT ON THE SUBJECT.

She is great; really easy teacher. She gives you the questions and anwers that are going to be on the test the day before the test in the review. Easy A if you bother to go over the review.

EASY A! Sit there and act like you're taking notes during class...you'll never need them. She lectures really well and gives you all of the questions & answers to study before each test. Aside from our 3 tests we took...we also had to turn in a current event for each week of the semester. I studied 15 minutes for the final and got a 98% on it!

Finally a professor at Broward College that I love! Mrs. Billeira is amazing at teaching, she makes things so crystal clear, and you know something? I actually started to love American History because of her O.O I am now taking her AMH 2020 because I couldnt get enough of her class. Its a very easy A, you will be happy just do the work asked !

Billera is awesome! Show up to class, engage in discussions, take notes, and ask questions when you have them. She makes the material fun, discusses current events with a bipartisan point of view, and teaches history the same. Highly recomend!

If you show up and take notes, read the book (which she does not require you to use) then you might learn something. Otherwise, most students just waited for her to give the review which was when she would literally give you the answers to the test. Most students found her boring but I liked her. She will lecture for 45 minutes.

She is supper sweet.I learned some from her class and found things pretty interesting during lectures but she can get boring at times..but everyone does..her tests are VERY easy so if you really dont want to work in this class then i guess you will love her..i really do think shes a great teacher.. but shes kinda too easy on her students.

Dr. Billera is the SWEETEST professor i've ever met. She is a very helpful prof. She writes tons of notes every day but if you study those you are guaranteed a perfect score on your test. Nice lady, helpful and easy. Was taking another teacher and than she became our teacher. She gave you a review that was EXACTLY the test and she would go over the whole thing the day before the test. Know what she is talking about. Any problem she will help you with. extremely recommended.

Because I am a history major, I loved her class. It is clear history excites her, so it was interesting to learn from here. Before every test you get a study guide that has literally every question on the test. Very easy class.

Dr. Billera is nice, and her class is very easy. In the beginning, she goes over current events. Then she lectures the remaining class period. There's 3 tests, and she gives you study guides. They are identical to the test. All you have to do is look up the questions in the book. If you are unsure of one, just ask and she'll tell you. Very Easy A.

Dr. Billera gives 3 tests multiply choice 50 questions. She gives a study review before test. The study review questions are the same questions on test and same order just answer questions to study review and study. A 1 pg of 2 different topics about anything weekly journal due at end of class donâ??t copy frm intrnt she can tell. Very fair teacher!

I really can't stomach this class. She is a nice woman, but when I'm in her class I feel like I've reverted back to middle school. It insults my intelligence. Most classes start with a current events discussion, but she does nothing to ensure it is open and non-offensive, which is has been. The reviews are great, but not helpful in the long run.

Loved This class, she does recommend reading the book but knows no one really does. she cares about attendance but not so strict just don't abuse or you will get a bad grade. super easy to pass this class, shes likes to talk about news at the beg of class, discusses material, takes attendance at end. only 3 tests, 16 journals, and 5 extra credits

Amazing professor!!! She loves history and loves to talk about the today's news events. The book is not necessary because she's talks about the each chapter most of the class. Explains very clearly and I learned a lot interesting things!! Very nice professor!!!

This class is EASY!!! Dr. Billera is super nice and gives you the test almost word for word to study. There are only four mandatory papers to write two of which are just questionnaires from movies you watch in class. The lectures are pretty boring, but she is very knowledgeable on the subject. Easiest class I had this semester.

Easy class! Surprisingly, there were a few people who got C's and D's due to laziness. She gives out a review sheet that is identical to the test, so attend class, take notes, and do assignments.

Easy class. Got an A. Word of an advice: Don't leave your work until the last minute. You'll still pass, but it gets stressful! The lady is wonderful though and you can tell she means well. Lectures are kind of boring, but hang in there because the class will boost your GPA.

Billera is so lovable! I had her for the fast track blended term. Her lectures aren't crucial! Grade is calculated through 2 tests that she gives great study guides for and 10 easy journals. She is very respectful & sweet, even when students were mean to her! She'd always try her hardest to help. Be kind & study her guides, you'll get an A.

She makes you do journal assignments, but doesn't grade them harshly. Her lectures can be dry sometimes, but she's a wonderful person and if you participate you'll liven it up. She provides study guides for her tests and if you fill them out, you'll get an A on the midterm and final.

Okay her class is super straight forward. She is really boring and I tend to read while she lectures. I got As on both mid-term and final. Don't bother taking notes. Do all the TEN Journals and fill out the study guide and you will pass.

Easiest class that I've taken. The lectures are boring and not very engaging, but aside from that, she's a good teacher. She gives ten journal assignments where you submit a 300 word response on a few questions. Her only tests are the midterm and final. The study guides she gives for them are the same questions on the test.

Super easy class! Do your journals and online quizzes. The study guides she gives are EXACTLY, word-for-word, the test. I find her lectures sort of interesting, but just a heads up, almost nobody else does. She's a sweet lady, kind of clueless really. She doesn't realize (or care) if you use your phone in class or if you don't show up.

Dr. Billera really cares about her class. It was my first college class (I'm dual enrolled), and she really helped me learn to keep up with a college rigor. She lectures, but she asks a lot of questions to keep the class awake and paying attention. Be prepared to write reflections, but they're at lest not formal essays. Gives great study guides.

I only recommend good prof. EASSSSYYYYYYYYYY tests, Don't need a book, miss class its okay. Just do the journals which are easy. Go to class and bring a laptop to pass the time. She's super nice and lets you out early. Wasn't sure about her class but I got an A and i was so happy. Just take her. Take my word.

Prof Billera is a GOOD professor - 5 test online 10 ques each , 2 papers worth 100 points , 1 midterm and 1 final and the material for each test is given to you as a review and the exact questions are on the test. For the final and midterm you must elaborate in order to get full credit OVERALL this class is easy just do the work and you will PASS

She is sooo sweet and gives very good lectures. She told the class what was going to be expected for the test which was very helpful. Assignments are not hard and she is clear about grading.

I know that history may not be the most amusing core subject out there, but this professor is an easy A. Her lectures might be monotonous although, she establishes great connections to other topics besides history. This in my opinion makes the class worthwhile; she also allows the class to jump into discussions outside of history.

Not American so I dont know A THING about U.S. history. This professor is extremely easy. Do all the journals and quizzes online and youll pass. She gives reviews for her final. DO IT and youll definitely pass the final. Midterm was online so it was fairly easy. I didnt take a single note in her class nor did I buy the textbook.

She's extremely easy. A few journal assignments and quizzes. There was a final and she gave us a review packet which really helped. I had her for both AMH2020 and AMH 2010. Just do the minimal works she asks you and be nice and you'll get that A.

Class transitioned to remote: Dr. Billera made the transition so easy. There were 16 quizzes, a mid term, and a final. She posts time lines and other helpful info for the quizzes. 6 discussions. She is not a tough grader. The work isn't a lot, even for an 8 week course. She's so sweet! Awesome professor. Attend the lectures, they're interesting.

This class was pretty easy . I really didnt go to class that often however , I recommend you do . The lectures she gives may be boring but it actually gives you an idea of what your learning about and if you dont go to class you will be confused . She didnt assign a lot of work and participation is a must . And only has a few major assignments.

Professor Billeria is one of the sweetest professors I have encountered. I was going through a rough time in my life and she was kindly willing to help out and extend assignment due dates for me more than once. She explains very well and every homework or quiz she gave was very simple.
