There are only a few tests and papers, and her lectures can be confusing but she gives very specific study guides before all tests and papers so you know exactly what you need to know. Daily discussions of current events and she likes to hear from all different backgrounds and religions to see different ideology, very interesting.

There are 3 short essays and 3 terms test that are written and one big paper, which are easy if you study and do the paper ahead of time, does give out study guides. She's also a easy grader. She's really disorganized and lecture are boring but she's really flexible about exams if you can not make it and due dates. But she's really silly and nice.

She is the sweetest, her jokes aren't always clear but after a while when she explains them a thousand times, you'll find that she's hilarious. She is very passionate about Texas political science and her country Mexico. Be ready to hear her speak Spanish. Pay attention and do the papers. Super easy, she pretty much gives you all the info.

Dr. Rosalinda is a great government teacher. She types up all her notes and you can bring your laptop and copy them or handwrite them. If you show up and take notes you are guaranteed a good grade. There was no final exam only two-three essays and three terms quizzes which are easy.

Professor Valenzuela was really good explaining topics that were confusing to us. Textbooks weren't required, but is recommended in case there is no class for one day. Her grading was easy and as long as you do the reviews and you study the notes that she gives you, then you should be able to make an A.

Amazing teacher with a real passion for political science! She's funny and as long as you study the reviews she give you, you can make an easy A. Very flexible and really cares about her students.

wonderful teacher, understands that not all students are political science majors and only teaches and tests you on the basic stuff. Very entertaining and funny. Attendance is not mandatory but she gives extra points for showing up. Tests are super easy and she gives a list of terms to define. Don't buy the book you will never use it.

No actual tests in this class, just vocab and essays

EASY A!!! You only have to show up enough times to know whats going on. She says she gives you points for attendance but hardly checks it. NO TESTS. vocab words as tests and essays. The hardest thing in this class is the 5 page essay over a house of representative member. Took me less than 2hrs the night before got a 97.

I LOVE HER! You will not regret taking this class, she makes it super easy to get an A; gives you all the answers for quizzes, and tells you what you should write for the essays (2) beforehand. She's funny, kind, and empathetic, if you need help or a grade bump she provides options to help you. You don't have to go to every class but I would.

This class was super easy. I'm not a big gov person so I didn't really find it all that interesting, but she made jokes in class. It's really not information based, and she gave us a couple extra credit opportunities. The tests were all easy and she prepares you really well in the review session. She gives you all the terms to study before the test

She's absolutely amazing. She's so sweet and she creates a nice atmosphere. She's lighthearted and funny. She teaches you exactly what you need to know to do well on tests and essays.

She is an amazing professor. Took her for federal government and will take her again in the summer for Texas government. Her classes are fun, she gives you reviews for her tests and helps you complete them. All you need to do is go to lectures and learn the reviews. She makes learning fun and loves interacting with students.

This is the professor you must take for Government! I have never met someone who shows a tremendous passion for political science and who loves to teach it! I took both Texas and Federal Government with Dr. Valenzuela and I can honestly say there is no one Id rather take for Government. One of the most caring and passionate teachers Ive ever had.

Professor Valenzuela is overall an easy grader and tells you exactly what she expects on assignments. Not a whole lot of outside class work, just take notes during class and youll be fine! Her enthusiasm also helps keeps you engaged even if Government isnt your go-to subject.

Professor Valenzuela was definitely one of the best professors I've had. It's obvious that she cares about her students & the material. Her lectures were fun & easy to follow. There is a lot of note taking involved so attending class is a must. All in all, I would highly recommend Prof. Valenzuela to anyone looking for a fun & caring professor!

I was never the type of person to get an A from a science or social studies course in high school and she made it so easy to pass. I am really glad I took her, she made everything easy to understand and also gave extra points if you did certain things. She also said we could get the book for the class but all tests were from lectures.

SHE IS THE SWEETEST PROFESSOR EVER! She makes the class fun and entertaining. She always open to discussion and she will give you EXACTLY what you need to know for her exams. I loved her and I would recommend taking her class. I wish other professors were like her.

oh my God she is the best, she is the coolest professor i had during my college level. She is supper sweet, kind, she understands your situation, she doesn't want her students to get stress. SHE IS AMAZING. if you have to take government i suggest her. Wonderful government professor.

She is the kindest professor I have ever had. She is very clear in what the exams will cover and has a review day before each exam. There are 3 vocab exams and 2 essay exams. There is one paper, but it is very easy and she is willing to help you with it. Attendance is not necessarily mandatory, but if you don't go, you miss a lot of information.

She is so caring and understanding of her students. We have a review session before exams and she will always make sure you are well prepared for the tests. You will make an A if you show up to class and study the review. She genuinely cares about her students and will go out of her way to help you.

Had her for fed government & she was really good. Easy tests & was willing to drop grades in order for students to have high grades. Most stressful part was the research essay, which she grades easy. Only thing I didnt like was her lack of organization; lectures werent ready ahead of time which then wastes time in class; overall really good.

LITERALLY THIS IS THE BEST PROFESSOR !!!! I wish I could take her again for every class! She actually cares for her students. I think I only turned in one paper and I still managed to make an A. Everyone should take her. She is a ball of happiness and managed to put me in a great mood every class.

Professor Valenzuela is seriously the best professor at Collin College, she was so caring and understanding. She really wants you to pass, and does her best to help you achieve your goals. Her class should be an easy A, just attend class and take notes because you will not need the book if you attend class. She is so flexible and passionate.

Love her! Sweet woman, very approachable and cares about her students. Super easy class, if you show up you'll pass. She gives you all the answers for all of the tests on the review, so if you just memorize that it's super easy. There is a big research paper towards the end, but if you follow the rubric you'll be fine.

AMAZING PROFESSOR! She really cares about all her students passing. There's 1 research paper (do it and you'll get an A), 2 written essay test (she gives you a CLEAR outline so just memorize it), and 3 vocab tests (memorize the terms she talks about most in class you'll get an A). Do not cheat! Respect her and do the work you will make a A+!!!!

She is so much fun. Took her for summer 1 and I truly enjoyed that class. She cares about her students and likes hearing about different cultural and diverse backgrounds. Most of the class is about actually learning, not just going by the book. Which is awesome! The class is engaging and the exams are super easy.

3 terms exams, 3 essays. i only had trouble with 1 essay but other things are cool because she helps you review for them before the big day. She's really helpful and passionate about the class. i like her!

Professor Valenzuela is seriously the best professor ever! This class is an easy A if you come to class ad take notes because all her quizzes and essay questions are literally from the notes she gives. There are three-term tests and two essay questions with just one paper. Take her you won't regret it:)

Easy class and easy grader. However, she does take attendance and takes points off in the end for it. She's a PhD holder, if that matters. Class is entertaining and easy, notes don't need to be taken if you're good at memorizing. Lots of extra credit. Only downfall is she doesn't put grades in canvas, so you never know where you're at. Recommend!!

I had Professor Valenzuela during the summer! I feel like her tests in itself are a very simple concept yet involves all of the components of what is important while studying making the exam hard if you always relyed on MCQ. I am so happy I had Professor Valenzuela in the summer she made it worth the time:)!

Hands down easiest class Ive taken. She bases her class on definitions and importance of those terms. She covers everything you need to know in class so you dont necessarily need the textbook if youre going to show up to class. Easy and fast grader. Would take again.

The most EZ A professor you'll find. She has terms tests which are extremely easy and she writes it all out before hand. Her in class essays--she tells you exactly what to write. She's super funny and sweet and doesn't want to cause students stress so she makes everything blow off easy.

She was great!!!She is such a nice teacher. She gives you all the terms (around 40) with the importance that you need to know for the term test and she only asks you 5 terms out of 40. For the essay test she gives you exactly what she's going to ask you and what she will be looking for. Only one easy essay assignment. YOU WON'T REGRET HER. EASY A!!

Easiest professor at collin. I never paid attention in class except for a week before the test and finished her class with a 100 without having to do any extra credit. She also literally says if you ever do bad on a test, which is impossible to do, she'll give you a replacement assignment you can get an A. All i'll say is there a lot of memorizing.

Prof Rosa is the kindest teacher/prof I've ever had. She loves Texas and it's very clear from the get-go. Make sure to participate in class bc then class will be 100x more fun. Most of your grade comes from vocab quizzes. If you have a cowboy hat or boots, wear them to class! She LOVES the cowboy style and it's very fitting for a Texas Govt class!

TAKE HER!!!! She is a sweetheart. I took her Summer Online course for Texas Government and literally, it was just 3 zoom calls. We have two essays and two term test that are only 5 questions. Don't be freaked out by the essay's. She tells you exactly what to write. Easy A!

Easiest class I have ever taken. The teacher is really sweet and you there are only three zoom meetings for attendance. Just follow the rubric using the modules and you will get an easy 100. Just make sure you are aware of the time deadlines.

Professor Valenzuela is one of the best govt teachers out there! I don't like govt much but she made it so much fun with her references. she grades very easy and tells you exactly what she expects. there are only 3 mandatory zoom classes and even those are no more than 30 mins. shes a casual and fun teacher who makes govt so much fun!

The most flexible teacher I have ever had. She is not overwhelming with work and is very accessible outside of class. Participation is IMPORTANT in her class so make sure to attend all sessions. This Texas Government 2306 class is SO easy. Professor Valenzuela made the lectures so much fun and interactive. She's very caring and would want all her students to be successful in her class. BEST professor! Take Professor Valenzuela!

She is one of the best teachers I've ever had! I took her summer class, she had minimal work, a few participation assignments, 2 tests, and 2 essays. The essays are very easy to get 100's and her tests are only 5 vocab terms out of about 40. She's super nice and very accommodating if you give her a valid reason. Definitely take her if you can!!!

Professor Valenzuela was very kind and compassionate. There were only few assignments which included 2 essays, 3 term tests, and a few participation grades . She is a very easy grader and this class is an easy A if you follow her instructions. Sometimes I found the instructions to be unclear so I would email her and she would respond promptly!

Prof. Valenzuela is a super easy grader, and she will definitely give you feedback if you send her your essay before turning it in. Her classes are often a lot of chatting and 'field trips' around the school, very little serious lecture. Most of the material is online, but she will give you a hard copy of notes in class.

Ms. V is the kind of teacher who leaves more of an impression on you as a person than what she teaches in class. Not that she doesn't teach well, though. She does a great job engaging students and making material fun. Take her! You won't regret it.

Professor V is super kind and caring. Her papers are super easy, and her class is super fun. I hate talking about politics and will avoid it at all costs, but her class made it super easy to understand and even fun to learn about. She was super accommodating for disabilities and was overall excellent.

Absolutely AMAZING person and professor! I did the 5-week class and it was VERY manageable & easy. Syllabus quiz, 2 terms test (know the vocab), 2 essay tests (great outline!) and 5 quizzes from the textbook. That's it! Not many assignments so do your best on everything! Use the reviews, reach out for help, read the notes and you will excel!

Took this during Summer 1. Super easy professor. Only a few assignments: 2 essays, 2 term quizzes, 4 participation quizzes. She gives you all the info you need for the essay and has a review session to go over the essay in detail. The term quiz is also easy and there's no lockdown browser. The participation quizzes are completion.

Doctor V is AMAZING. I've taken her class twice and gotten a good grade both times. Her work is easy as long as you follow directions. She is always available to help with work, too. It's truly my favorite class every time I take her.

Even with a disdain for politics I loved Dr. V's class. She strikes this perfect balance between joking around and giving you all the information you'll need for her term tests. Plenty of extra credit opportunities, assuming you'll even need them with how easy her class is. Not much homework and it's all very spread out. Can't recommend her enough.

Doctor V is so much fun! She actually cares about her subject and teaches it in a way everyone understands. She is silly with her stuff but makes it fun. Her essays are super easy as long as you follow the rubric, and the work is overall pretty easy. I'd take her to every class if I could.

Taken over wintermester, 2 5 question quizzes (20% final grade each), 2 essays (25% each), 1 syllabus quiz (10%). Assignments are locked so cannot really work too far ahead, all terms needed for essay are bolded within her notes. Don't need to cite her notes in your essay's work cited page, easy grader and this course took about 6 hours to finish

Professor Valenzuela is my favorite! She is so funny and chill. Her class is super easy and relaxing. Little homework and tests. Sometimes, she goes off-topic, but I am fine with that.

Hilarious, made it a fun class! Just had a research project about contacting state reps, writing a couple of short essays, and a couple of tests with easy to study for terms - with the latter two having very easy rubrics, etc.

Dr. V made the class very easy and understandable. If you complete your assignments on time, you will have an A. The class has couple of analysis papers of the recent election, a research paper where you contact state reps, three vocab quizzes that are 5 questions, and 7 textbook quizzes that are due at the end of the course. Very easy grader!

Prof. Valenzuela is very caring about her students and the class is extremely easy as long as you do the work. The grading criteria is very clear, and she gives really good feedback on papers. I would take this class again, it was really interesting.

I will say she does talk a lot, I found her hilarious but not everyone in the class was willing to listen and engage with her. I liked her class and will be taking her for 2305 next semester. There are two term tests, a couple of papers, a group project, and some chapter quizzes. Overall a pretty light class and she's not a tough grader.

Dr. V does her best to create a fun and interesting learning environment. Her assignments are easy, and all her tests can be taken home with your notes. She is, however, very talkative and goes off-topic during her lectures a lot. Everything you learn is from modules on Canvas. All in all, I would definitely recommend her for an easy A.

I took her for Fed and Tex Gov. She is the absolute sweetest and funniest person. Me and her would talk about theatre a lot since we're both theatre kids. She has very few assignments. The only hard assignment she might have is a research paper of some kind. But she gives lots of extra credit and is very accommodating. Take her if you want a easy A

As a full time worker Professor V. made it so manageable for me to do my quizzes which were short and my one page essays. She gave us plenty time to complete work. The lectures gave you the answers to the quizzes and essays weren't hard you had to at least try and she will give you a good grade.

I loved her class. As long as you do the assignments on time and refer back to the rubric you'll be guaranteed an A. Her coursework wasn't hard at all, it does require reading but not too much. If you already have prior knowledge you'll be fine. I had 5 question term quiz's and 2 writing assignments!

I absolutely loved Professor Valenzuela's class! She is so caring, funny, and easy to understand. Her course is very easy but you still learn a lot. She encourages involvement in the community and loves to have discussions in class.

Dr. Valenzuela made the course a very easy one, especially considering most people take it just for the general credit. She made her lectures funny and interesting all the time! She would also truly connect to her students. Very simple assignments to do as well, nothing to worry about.
