Professor Amaro is a great instructor. Her class is fun, interesting and very informative. If you get the chance to take one of her classes do so. You won't regret it.

She will make you work, but is fair in grading. Mostly a textbook class.

Work is right out of the textbook. There are a lot of homework assignments, but she is fair and helpful. She is a very patient person.

I took her online class. She give a fair amount of HW and the class is pretty str8 forward. I thought her tests were hard.

She is very relaxed but yet she does give some homework. I found her to very helpful to me not knowing much about the computer itself.

Mrs. Amaro is a very nice teacher. She kind of sticks to the book, but that's usually good. All you have to do is complete your assignments and attend class, and you'll do perfectly fine. Just don't be a lazy student like a lot of people are.

her class was really easy, all the test questions were taken from the end of each chapter. if we got confused she helped us, either that or we'd help each other. she was pretty laid back...

Mrs. Amaro is a great teacher. If you stay on task and ask questions, you won't have any problem get a good grade. If she teaches a class that is in my field of study, I will be sure to have her as my teacher.

WOW! what an amazing woman and teacher. she's so patient and understanding. She ALWAYS takes time to listen and clearly explain/review any of the material. Absolutely GREAT teacher!! SHe totally made learning about computers fun and interesting. You must do your work like in every class to pass. But if u prepare yourself you will get an A. I was once a computer dummy. But not anymore. I would recomend her for anyone!!!! Best Professor Ever!!!!

This is an AWESOME teacher. She makes learning computers easy and interesting. She does give a lot of homework but this is for the advantage of the students. You can miss up to four assignments and still get an A. I would recommend her to anybody.

I read some bad ratings on her, but had no choice but to take the class. She is not a bad teacher, its a pretty easy class, just make sure you read the book before exams. She takes about 3-4 days to respond to emails. And when doing an assignment if she gives a description of the assignment but tells you its on a specific page, go by the book!

This was an easy class if you take the time to follow instructions and do the work. you really have to try to fail this one. the professor is extremely forgivving and give extra time for alomost any reason. She has no room for people who just don't try or care.

Took microcomputer applications Spring 2004 w/her! She is personable w/students and direct in her teaching approach. Also, helpful if u don't understand.SHE DOES NOT PLAY GAMES or babysit. The work is easy if u know computers and applications. If you have no pc experience PAY CLOSE ATTENTION.

Professor Amaro Rocks. She is very accomodating and willing to assist her students. She is willing to stay after class if students have issues. Her class was one of the first I took when I retuned to school after 30 years. Very nice. Great experience in class.

I had Prof. Amaro for Introduction to Business online and it was a great class. Easy as long as you do the work. The workload was not to hard. A few discussions and assignment and quiz every week

Obviously, she cares about the course material but she has poor time management skills. The final exam given was entirely on material not covered in the class! Very nice woman who obviously cares about her students but time management may effect your grade if you are not self motivated

Easy class, but the test are a total pain, it's not that they're "hard", it's that the program used for the test asks how to do specific actions and if you're so much as a fraction of an inch off, it'll mark it wrong, made me fall to a B from one test. Attendance not mandatory, aside from Access section.

Overall great teacher. I simply enjoyed the class itself and she just made it even easier to enjoy. She was very helpful to students when help was needed. Highly recommend.

This class was super easy. Just read and do all the assignments. The last week of class I only had to do 1 assignment verses 3 because I racked up enough points during the beginning and middle of class to score an "A". It is alot of assignments but its simple-nothing hard. I would recommend using this teacher. She was great!

Do the assignments, come to class, and read the book, there is no reason to get a bad grade in this class. The website used can be annoying, but you can do the homework over and over until you get it. Whether its the website being touchy or you having trouble, I recommend doing the assignment repeatedly. You get 3 attempts on the homework and exam.

She was a fast grader . A lot of work but very simple,.

If your just starting out college, and your majoring in computers, i highly recommend her for this class. You will learn alot about ms word, excel, pp, and access. She is caring, her syllabus is very solid and understandable. If you wanna get an A in her class, make sure you do all the assignments she gives you, and score very well on the exams.

I took this class for a Math Substitution credit and other than Access and Excel I easily aced everything else. If you already know how to use everything you don't need to show up for class except for tests. I did because I'm not good at this stuff. Very nice professor and very easy. Do all the training and projects for the best possible grade.

Prof Amaro gets humor. My class is a very humorous class and she gets it. Just pay attention to the lectures and you will pass everything else. Everything is online so if you do not come to class just do the stuff online and then get an A on the tests and you will do fine. I'd recommend her as a prof for this course!

As a midterm substitute for our assigned instructor, Professor Amaro reached in and took over the class. Not a bad instructor, would recommend to others and take her again. Only issue that I had faced was time management to get my work done and on time. Class was great overall, enjoyed learning from her.

She was very caring and responds back to emails in timely matter. She sends a lot of reminders about work due dates. Overall great teacher, I would take her again.

I have worked with many Microsoft applications in my career, but this was not only a class I needed to complete my degree on, it was also needed in order to transfer into a state university. Not saying the class was boring, Professor Amaro made it easy to understand and gave excellent homework examples to work from. Highly recommended!

Prof. Amaro practically sets it up to where you pass. You have to try and fail to fail. Do the homework (she'll even lets you work ahead so you can leave early) its that easy. She even does another practice example with you if you dont quiet understand the concept. Take this professor.

Professor Amaro made the concepts involved in this class easy to understand. While this was a live-online the lectures were beneficial to helping the student understand each concept. I really suggest that students should enroll in Professor Amaro's class. I would definitely take this class again if I had to do it again.

This was the easiest computer class I've ever taken. Assignments are EASY, they literally show you each step. The exams give you 3 tries for each task, you can skip a question and come back to it later. I did NOT need any book/e-book. Anything you're stumped on, google it, much faster. The only thing I would recommend is, use an actual mouse. A+

She helps you go through the material and makes sure you understand it. Not the most tech savvy. During this time of COVID all these FSCJ professors really needed to learn how to use Canvas and the online teaching system. Overall, she's nice and pretty good.
