she comes in 15 minutes late, she asks you to turn of your phones, but her keeps ringing. she is very helpful but not clear enough, BUT if u stay afta class she can make it easy for u she leaves the class during quiz so you can cheat hehe ;)n her test are pretty kewl. she is very understanding, just share your problem and she might help u even more

I took this course over the summer and we learned alot over a shor period but i never had a problem understanding her or learning the material.. yes its true shes usually late, but other than that i have no complaints. If you ACTUALLY LISTEN (unlike most students in my class) and take notes you will do great. She is a good teacher.

Although she has a strong accent, she is very helpful. All what u have to do is to ask if u don't understand something. Easy A if u do the hw, and practice test

First of, she is an extremely NICE professor. She wants you to try the problems, but you also have to do your part in reading the book and reinforcing it with lecture to master it. Her quizzes are easy. The HW is reasonable. The exams won't be a surprise if you do the practice test. Her notes can be messy at times, but she is always willing to help

If you want to take an A in a class just take her. she is extremely helpful. she's willing to help students out when they struggle at any problem.her quizzes and exams are fair, and the homework is not hard. just take the class with her you won't regret that !:)

She is a good professor. She gives you all the resources to do well in the class. People complain she doesn't teach, but usually they never study or leave everything for last minute. Use textbook, packets, hw, and InteractMath to get ready to KICK BUTT on the exams. People exaggerate on her accent. Recommend, she's very flexible and is passionate.

I cant understand why when students dont do well they put all the blame on the professor? I can say with all amount of confident that Prof. Joseph is very good and was there for all my cour semate, Always ready to go extra mile to make you understand what you needed to. For math 99 I took the course in a lab using mymathlab,com instead of being in a regular classroom. Since I was in the lab I rarely saw her the only time will be when shes taking attendence. Everything is on mymathlab,com, quizzes.h.w,and exams and its easy to cheat

Easy to understand and put alot of her own time into the class. She is also at the math tutoring center. This is great for students like me know need a bit of help to lean. Attending class was not forced but you get points for each day present, and they add up. Test were laid out in syllabus but quizzes are not. Overall she was a great teacher.

Prof. Joseph is very personable and she cares for her students. If you show her enthusiasm for Math she will help you to understand the concepts. She makes herself available if you need extra help. I enjoyed taking this course with her and I highly recommend her! She is an awesome instructor!

Professor Joseph is very knowledgeable and very encouraging. She really knows her stuff and always comes prepared for class. Unlike other math teacher who just provide the answers to the test questions, Professor Joseph explains the formulas and derive them in detail so the students don't have to memorize it only for the test. She is awesome profr.

she is a very nice professor, she is always there when you need help. I have taken 2 classes with her. The first one was college algebra I got a C, then I took precalculus and I got a B. She likes to see your homework, online work, and in class all the times. If you need extra help go to tutoring and she will give you extra credit for that.

Rosamma Joseph is an exceptional teacher that really cares about her students. She is open to help during and after class. I would take her class a thousand times.

She teaches all the material in the syllabus but can be hard to understand sometimes requiring you to go to tutoring for extra help.

She's very funny. Just like any other math class if you want a good grade just make sure to study for your exams and do your homework.

Professor Rosemma genuinely cares about her students. She wants everyone to succeed and believes they can do it if they put effort. The homework she makes us do helped me a lot. Coming from a student who is bad at math. I succeeded in math and now I am interested in it. Just put in hard work and actually take your time to learn it.

She does have a heavy accent but its easy to get used to and to understand after a while. She gives homework, pop quizzes, and tests, which are easy and are multiple choice. Everything is easy you just have to be in class and keep up. She's friendly and always willing to go over stuff if you don't understand. Totally recommend :)

Great professor with great respect from students. I like her tests, which are tough, but worth it. She is there for helping us & wants students to succeed in their future classes. Professor is funny with jokes. Very patient in grading and explaining until I get it. Fantastic lectures!!!

when I first start the class,I think im going to fail, but she is very helpful and also sge office houres if you dont understand she will help you out. at first week I think i will drop her class but later she gives me a little more extra time and Im able to understand more and she is great I've ever had

This teacher is Really nice. I have taken her two times. She is really smart, and she understands you. This professor is easy going. i highly recommend her . you will have fun.

Anyone who rated her poorly obviously didn't care to read the syllabus or do homework. She collects HW before each test, giving you a few weeks to complete them at a time. Some exam questions are straight from the book. Pay attention to her lectures and you'll be fine. She doesn't keep track of attendance but if you skip class you will become lost.

I will say that she is hard to understand at times because of her thick accent. I'm not sure if I would take her again but if you work hard she will see that. If you aren't willing to put in the work then don't expect to pass. If she likes you she may give you a little help on your tests or overall grade.

Ms. Joseph is hands down the nicest most caring professor who wants to see you succeed. She works individually with you if you are not understanding lectures in a regular classroom setting and she is always available to answer your questions. I highly recommend this professor, especially if math is not your best subject.

Professor Joseph is fantastic! She is very caring and genuinely enjoys teaching her classes. She's easy to talk to and makes you work for your grade. You need your book and there is loads of homework. Tests can be hard, but if you pay attention and do the work they're not overly bad. She's really great!

She has good explanation skills and very funny professor. Although lots of homework, but you can easily pass the class.

She is so kind and understands the students. She lets student retake the test whenever you're willing to. You will have a decent amount of homework but believe it will help you in the test especially make to do the practice test because 3 to 5 exact questions come in the test from the practice test. She also makes jokes a lot. Good Luck!

Wonderful instructor, show her you care about your education and she'll care too! She WANTS you to learn and pass, so go to class and work hard. It's a tough class but if you put in the time you'll do well. The lectures are good to intoduce the topic, then you solidify it by doing the homework, then she answers questions during review the next day.

She teaches the easiest shortcuts in math that make the most tedious math problems a piece of cake. She may pronounce your name wrong. but she knows who you are in her class. If you come prepared and focused to her class, she will teach, inspire, and make you laugh. I observed my classmates as being comfortable and eager to ask questions. Loved her

She gets through every ones questions before she advances. her pep talks, and inspirational speeches is what makes her stand out compared to others. Would love to take her next courses.

I was struggling mid-way through the semester and contemplated dropping the course and re-taking it later. The professor encouraged the class not to give up, regardless of where you stood. Instead, focus on the power of now and finish strong as tomorrow is not promised. She inspired me and managed to save my semester. Truly caring & knowledgeable.

She is Amazing! I took her in spring 2020, half of semester we did it on Zoom because of covid-19. She took the time to explain everything very detail. All quizzes and test come from the homework problems.

She is demanding, exactly the way that teacher should be, otherwise you would not be able to accomplish the math class.

Professor Joseph is nice she wants you to be successful in her class. It gives homework straight off the textbook so beware if you get this professor DON'T GET MyMathLab. A professor who sees the individual student rather than the number and truly cares about you leaving her class having properly understood the material. If you are able to demonstrate what you have learned your grades will soar. I did have some difficulty accessing office hours, for best results treat it as an appointment and email beforehand.

Professor Joseph is an excellent teacher. Math is my worst subject by far and feels like a huge drag, but I actually look forward to her class! She's really caring and takes time to make sure you understand the material. She explains things in simple yet straightforward terms which makes math topics easy to follow, and she has a great attitude.

Professor Joseph wants you to succeed. While her workload can be heavy, she's willing to help and give chances to improve. Unstuck ai was a lifesaver for staying on top of the material.

Listen to me when I say she is the best option there is. Mandatory attendance, but actually showing up goes a long way, also lectures go by faster than expected. She will always meet you the rest of the way if you show up and try. Ive only heard complaints from students who want the grade without trying at all. Shes as good as they come, trust me.
