Great Professor!! Really breaks down the text book into terms that you can understand. The class itself is a little difficult and she does everything possible to make it less difficult. Not alot of homework ...4 assignments and a midterm and a final ...but you MUST read the Chapters to do well in the class!!

Test questions, you wont be able to find in the book. She doesn't give a study guide. Also she wont help you if you ask for help on advice on what to study for. Really difficult. Just don't take the class.

Take this course with literally anyone else! So much busywork that doesn't even assist with learning the material. Test questions are worded poorly. No study guides offered. Powerpoints are a disorganized mess. "Test yourself" quizzes are available to help prepare for tests but the subjects covered aren't even covered on the actual test.

This is one of the worst professors I've taken at PHSC. She doesn't organize the class well, Her exams arent correctly based on the modules, and also takes forever to respond. I wouldn't recommend taking her at all I should have listened to the reviews...

I dont agree with bad reviews. This instructor was the most clear and well organized virtual instructor I have had as a student at PHSC. Prof Licht is a great teacher and does provide study guides pre quizzes, and overviews to help our learning experience. Not sure why application work considered "busy work" but it increased my learning ALOT

There is no benefit in taking this course with her, all the exams are worded in a way in which it's obvious she's just trying to mess with you. The actual material provided give no insight to whats on the exams either. Prepare to do a bunch of learning on your own.

Would not recommend! Study guides and practice test are nothing like the real ones. The question are worded in such a confusing way and your answer choices pretty much all make sense. The grading system is weird! Does offer extra credit which you should do to help your grade!! Book is a must, prepare to teach yourself!

She doesnt help you when you need it. I tried asking her about points needed to pass the class and she just refers me to look at the syllabus and heavily stressed that I calculate it for myself even though SHE is the teacher and should help me when I request it, as the academic advisors of PHSC told me she would do themselves.

NEVER take this class. The study guides are nothing like that actual test. The test are time limited, barely enough time to finish. Class is graded out of points which can be very confusing. Just a very difficult class with an unhelpful professor. Hardest class that I have ever taken before. So glad that I will never have to do this class again.

She is very organized, graded quickly, and puts thought into her assignments. However, she makes her tests and quiz unnecessarily confusing. She words the questions so weird that even if you read the entire book you will still spend forever on the quizzes. She doesnt give you enough time to complete them either. She is too specific about things.

Great professor!! The exam questions are critical thinking style and require you to apply your knowledge, but they are fair and she drops the lowest exam grade, critical thinking assignment, and discussion board. The DBs and CTs and short and easy, and if you put extra effort into it she will award extra points. She gives lots of feedback too!!

You must devote a lot of time to her class as there is tons of reading, assignments, projects and tests. If you have many other classes this would be a difficult class but I got a 98% due to her offering many opportunities for extra credit. She's very kind and truly wants students to succeed but also understand the material.

The syllabus is very straightforward regarding expectations and grading criteria. She provides an outline of dates/assignments/tests for the whole semester. Emails reminders for assignments. Responsive to emails. Tests/quizzes relevant to materials studied. Tests are open book. Don't let that cause you to slack. Read, study, and be prepared.

My past year and a half of college has really been enjoyable until this class. You don't get helpful study materials, and the study materials are hard to understand. The quizzes and tests are unnecessarily hard and specific. I will study for weeks and still get a failing grade on quizzes which are a big part of your grade. Disappointed at the least

I honestly think their email replies are sent via carrier pigeon because it takes forever. I could literally write a letter to my future self and get a reply faster. Get ready to study for hours, only to barely pass with a sense of existential dread and a deep, soul-crushing realization that you might actually know less than when you started.

I was hoping to get more out of this class but it was honestly pretty useless. 150-300 word discussion boards each week. Super easy A though. This was truly the only class I dreaded doing homework for all semester.

written assignments were an easy 100. exams were hyper specific, makes no sense how applying your knowledge was doable on written assignments but not the exam lol. professor is hard to get a hold of and the study guides/practice tests aren't helpful. only way to study is to read the textbook. exams being open book doesn't help either. good luck...

The tests are insanely difficult. She always says she is "only an email away!" but never responds to emails. THe majority of assignments have no weight in your final grade. Three tests and about two projects will be the entirety of your grade. She does no extra credit or retakes on any assignments. Also she takes FOREVER to grade.

I had for sports nutrition was the easiest course of the semester. Quick response time and grading. More than enough time for each assignment, including the exams you get 2 hours for 50 questions. While she may not have given the most feedback if you followed the rubric and simply answer the questions you will get a 100 on the assignment.
