Awesome teacher!!! All you have to do is study your notes and you will be fine. Don't procrastinate, and make sure to sit in the front and participate during lectures. She will love you for that.

You must be a fairly good writer to succeed in this class. Go to every lecture, listen, take notes, study, and be prepared to write complete sentences and paragraphs on her tests not fragments. The plus side? She has encyclopedic knowledge, great stories, and fascinating historical tibits.

She is extremely knowledgeable. However, I found her lecture style to be exremely irritating. She is aggressive about getting you to answer questions in class. I would not recommend her.I could not handle her personality.

She can be very nice and irritating at the same time. For tests, you have to write a short essay, and many small essay-like short answers. Recommendations: Thorw random answers at her so she does not pick on you.

She's very clear at delivering the subject, very helpful, all you have to do is raise your hand.Took her in winter 5 tests, short answer, fill in, some multiple choice. Over all great teacher. Tests based on mostly lectures and book, no surprises, she'll ask about the black knight :) Good luck

Great teacher. The people who complain about being "picked on" are the ones who sit in the back and never pay attention. Here's a thought: maybe if you knew the answer to her question you wouldn't feel like she was harassing you. But that would require work.

A very good teacher. Just show up and take notes, you dont need to buy the book. Tests are based on the notes from the lecture. If you're gonna take a Hist.5 class at this school she'll be your best choice.

Well I admit she was pretty good, but i personally thought there were too many politcs involved in that class. I sometimes seemed like a history in politics class, and less a sex in history class.

She is one of the coolest teachers I ever had. She likes to challenge her students, but also helps if you have a question. Her tests are easy if you follow her instructions and study her notes. I HIGHLY recommend her.

I disagree that Drummond is prying answers from her students. Most people barely pay attention when plays are being read, so of course they aren't going to know any of the answers. I found her very funny, intelligent, and nice. She did know Greek and Roman history very well. I highly recommend her too.

She's a **** but you will learn from her. If you take her make sure you sit in the first row because she has a theory that good students sit in the front and honestly I think she does base her grading according to where you sit.Also she might pick on you so you have to be ready because she will beat the answer out of you.Very easy if you study.

She wears pretty wild clothes and jewelry! Never say "I don't know" when she calls on you. She gets mad if you act like you don't care about the material. She's just a fun teacher, and she won't break you to pieces on the test.

her tests are pretty hard. long as you take notes and study them you'll do fine. buying the book is not neccessary and the class is very interesting. it's about sex why wouldn't it.

Dr. Drummond is a very interesting professor. If you just sit and stare at her, of course the class is going to be difficult. Take notes, ask questions, and do come prepared for the class; it will make a difference. You do need to be a good writer to pass her class, because she does not hand out Mickey Mouse tests such as multiple guess.

She's pretty easy, you just gotta show up to class, take a lot of notes and study well...then you'll pass with a A. There is work required, unlike most other valley college teachers. She's nice too...but is pretty biased with her opinions

Great classes. Don't bother buying/ reading the books. She covers it during class,take good notes!! Essays required for the tests which are not easy if you don't go to class regularly. Learned a lot. This class is definately not for the person looking for an "easy A"

English is my second language, and i got an A in her class, her tests are based on essays, but if you attent her classes you will have enough info to write about. She is adorable and... don't buy the books you won't need them!

Show up, take good notes & use critical thinking on the exams, and you'll be fine. I had some personal problems during the semester & she was very accomodating. Don't let her bark scare you--she is a sweetheart.

This is not an easy class. She is fast pace. Her tests are fair. She gives you alot of information so please take really good notes and you will do fine.

Professor Drummond is the most out going teacher. She made class enjoyable and boy did we learn a lot. Must keep attention and write good notes. I would definately take another class with her.

Good and easy teacher. We had 3 test and a final. The final was not cumalitive. Each test had a multiple choice section and an essay question. Take good notes in class and u wont even need to read the books. I learned a lot and would take her a again. Easy! participate in class!

She is a very funny teacher, good sense of humor. She knows everything there is to know about history. There are four exams in total plus one analytical paper, half of the exams are essay questions so have decent writing skills. All exams are straight from her lectures, take good notes, and videos she shows in class so the book is almost useless

This professor is funny but it is not an easy class. you have to read the text and a booklet. you have to take good notes. the test is multiple choice and one essay question. you have to memorize essays. If you dont like to read or take notes then dont take this class

I took her last semester for history 11 and she was great. Don't sleep or act like your tired. Don't be late, take notes and listen to her she knows a lot! She can be the nicest lady in the world depending on the day. Just act like a mature college student and do what is asked an you will get an A... I did...

She is wonderful in her lectures and makes them interesting, but is confusing when you have to take notes and decipher what is a story and what is going to be on the Test. No use for the book except blue booklet. The first tests were hard because she wouldn't budge on telling what was on them you had to ask her after class or guess.

I really enjoyed her class. She is very energetic and funny. She loves to sing and will play with the class at times. If you catch her on a bad day you could end up feeling stupid in front of the class. She will call on you randomly and won't stop until you answer. Other than that she is a wonderful teacher. I had a great time.

She is fun and very on point in her lectures. The key of success is do not miss class, everything she goes over will be in her lectures. The book will reenforce what she goes over. This professor makes History much more interesting than most people would expect. She really makes it so that you understand, because she puts her own twist on things. She randomly starts to sing and dance, and sometimes makes you sing too lol. She can be dirty minded, but it's pretty hilarious. Fun Fact: She will never wear the same outfit twice!

She is an amazing professor! She really ignited an interest for history in me! Before taking her class, I hated history, she makes the lectures very interesting. Take good notes, they really help out! I recommend to take her if you actually want to learn something! :)

Favorite professor, hands down. She is such a character, I love her. She teaches history like she's telling a story and I was on the edge of my seat hearing how Cortez conquered the Aztecs. She doesn't tolerate slackers, but all profs hate loser students, so don't be one. Highly recommend.

Very Knowledgeable, funny, and fun. Can be a little pushy with opinions. Super easy tests. Lecture based class take excellent notes and record her. Makes everything a story. She is a really sweet teacher and you can tell that she really loves her job and she wants to encourage students to participate. Unfortunately a lot of students at this community college don't care and they don't even try. It's unfortunate because she really loves her students and you can do well in her class if you put the effort in.

What you have to do in this class is watch movies and write paragraphs. It's quite simple as long as you pay attention on what the teacher says. Really easy A, just remember what the movies are about and her main topic the movies portray. By doing this I guaranty you a Passing Grade. Also there is an assignment to write, about a studio tour

The class was really easy as long as you paid attention. The test weren't that hard. Some multiple choice, essay questions, and fill in the blank. You watch alot of movies in that class. Overall I learned alot in that class and it was fun.

Her handwriting is difficult to read at first but as the semester goes on you can translate it. Participation is big in her class otherwise it slows the class down. Do the assigned reading!

Prof. Drummond is a very good teacher, as long as you take her subject seriously. Remember, she likes those who participate in her class. She does Not like those who come late to class, try to be on time because she'll remember you. Take notes it will be on the test, but the tests are not hard overall. She's very passionate about her work. Easy A!

I took her for History 012 & 018 back in 2011. One of the greatest professors I've ever had.
