BORING! Study for this class very well because the tests are VERY hard! She gives lectures off her powerpoint but they are usless and you'll want to go to sleep. You pretty much have to teach youself the class she doesnt help.
very interesting class, good teacher and helps to understand materials with small experiments... tests are not too bad just study the notes, i didnt read the book but if you do you will probably get a good grade
Class lectures consist of videos and discussions. Discussions consist of meaningless rants and shared experiences. She gives lots of easy busy work for "homework" assignments. The midterm and research project were not difficult but were not related to anything we spoke about in class.
This teacher teaches a very easy class, but she fills the class with a lot of pointless busy work. You will never know your class status because she doesn't return any papers. She is very unclear with the content and due date of assignments and for the final exam she assigned essay questions, that were completely unrelated to anything we had done
Lectures were boring.Group meetings were interesting. She gives you a midterm and research project but never returned them so you have no idea where you stand in the class. The midterm, research project and final were not related to the course as the questions asked were ridiculous.Stay away if you like a structured class, she missed 1/4 of classes.

LOVE this woman.. only a few assignments the whole semester.. reading the material isn't really necessary.. she tells you exactly what's on the exam the class period before.. loves to tell her personal stories.. friendly..approachable.. funny.. but if you'
Great Teacher, she's new so she gives a lot of busy work. However, she's the type of teacher that will change assignments if student's express to her that it is too much. I suggest going to her office hours and getting to know her.
TOO MUCH BUSY WORK. ALL THE WORK IN THIS CLASS IS POINTLESS. SHE TAKES FOREVER TO RETURN YOUR ASSIGNMENTS SO YOU DONT KNOW YOUR STANDING. SHE WANTS YOU TO BE SPECIFIC ON YOUR ASSIGNMENTS BUT SHE'S NOT SPECIFIC HERSELF IN EXPLAING WHAT SHE WANTS FROM IT. SHE'S VERY UNCLEAR ON EVERYTHING THE ASSIGNMENTS, THE EXAMS, THE PROJECTS.
sometimes unclear, not helpful, and doesn't seem very knowledgeable. but she's nice and funny at times.
she is a hippie. she always found a way to let her political views tie into the lecture. i dont care what side your on, a teacher should not do that all the time. class was kind of interesting at times though. if you do the assignments and take notes your golden.

The class itself is interesting, but go with another teacher. This one is not worth the trouble.
WoNDERFUL TEACHER!!! I learned so much from her and she really cares about the students. Her lectures are informative and very interesting. The class really got into the discussions. Would absolutely take her again!
She seems like she cares but she really doesn't. She is horrible, she assigns way too much reading. Everything is very unclear. Don't take this teacher she is rude and mean and doesn't explain anything. She doesnt hand back any papers so you have no idea what your grade is in the class. BAD!!!
LOVED THIS TEACHER!!! Very cool, easy, light reading and interesting. I'm so glad I'm in her class! She's very down to earth, very approachable. This is my favorite class. I know she teaches in psychology also, I can't wait to take her for psychology!
She is very conniving! She seems like the nicest teacher, but once you ask her for help she turns into a completely different person. Here class has no structure, and yet she expects the world. Her grading criteria is all off and her knowledge is weak.
I took her class my first semester at CSULB, and she was not helpful at all. She's unclear with instruction, and it ended up being a very bias class. If you disagree with her opinions, you're definitely going to be uncomfortable in this course. Take this class with another teacher.
easy, but kind of confusing. not very structured. still interesting. i love the friday group meetings best because we can talk about anything.
I took her for social psychology and LOVED it! She tells you what will be on the exams, and the class discussions were lively! I would definately take her again.
Kind, helpful, yes, a little biased, but SO interesting. I truly enjoy coming to her class!
She is very unclear and reads her lectures from a powerpoint presentation directly out of the book. It's more of an independent study course rather than a lecture!
She is one of the worst teachers I have had so far. Never prepared, always pushes deadlines further and further. You can turn things in weeks late and it won't matter, but she should not be a professor.
I thought this class was pretty easy because I've taken other classes that deal with community. Professor Hanna reads straight off the overhead from the BeachBoard. There are two papers, three exams (she drops your lowest grade), participation points, a poster project, and a group project. The book is really boring and wasn't too necessary.
I thought that she was a horrible teacher. Never prepared, doesnt teach, just sits sround while all of us get in groups to "discuss" what we read. Worst, she doesnt return any work so you will have no clue what you have in the class until the day the end of the semester.
does not return papers until the day of the final and all you do is discuss in groups. Not a good teacher. has us create the questions the the final, the answers, and grade each question.
I didn't like the way the class was structured, but I did well w/ not too much effort. I didn't really do the reading until she gave us study guides, then used those to study for the tests. Attendance is not mandatory but helped me lots in knowing what direction to go when studying for tests. There were lots of weekly journals to write though.
more of what the other people has said. never quite sure where you stand in her class being my biggest problem. weekly journals are a pain and she doesnt do much in the way of teaching. anyone who could read could teach her class. i figured i'd get out of the class with a B, maybe an A and i got a C.
I love this teacher. She is really compassionate and passionate about psychology and her students. Highly recommend her!
I enjoyed the class, sometimes it could get boring but overall i would recommend her. Not too much reading, she gives one grp project, grades it kinda unfair, the friday grp meetings are the best...she is a real feminist so i mean what do u expect from a w/st class... i recommend!
Really interesting class. She's a great professor trying to engage us with the lessons. Study guides exactly outline the tests which is all mult. choice.
Lord help you if you have an opinion, especially if you are a guy. Seems cool to start with, but just you wait.
well everyone signed a petition because she does not hand out graded work until the day of the final, so never know what your getting! but she is nice, but has too much going on in her personal life to teach also, needs to stop teaching because she has no time to dedicate herself to the class and the assignments.
I agree with the person below, unaware of grade until basically the final, and even then a little foggy on what you have. she asked us what we liked and did not like at the end of class and I was open and shared that i was not too happy about not knowing my grades on assignments. but all in all good class, lots of info and is a nice lady.
i agree with the person below. i spoke up in class when she gave us an oppurtunity to tell her what we like and disliked and i was not too thrilled about not knowing any of our grades until last minute, foggy and worried about whether passing or failing. all in all great class, learned a lot, nice woman. some people were upset the last day of clas
One of the worst teachers I've ever had. I rarely went to class cause her lectures were horrible. She is completely bias and teaches her entire class from a feminist standpoint even though it's a psychology class. There was alot of outside work that was time consuming but easy. She thinks she knows everything and her view is all that counts.
I loved this teacher!!! Will definetly take her again! She was engaging and very helpful. The lectures were a blast.
She took forever to return tests and assignments. I really did not learn anything from the class at all and I attended every session. She gives part-time teachers a bad wrap. She wanted me to fail! She told me to drop the class, I didn't. She gave me a "D" then I had to tell her that she was mistaken and she changed my grade accordingly.
Really enjoyed this class, all the lessons taught were interesting and helpful. Love love love the films!! just the best !!! the work are ok, not alot but keeps you on track. Not hard when it comes to grades. Study guide was good, midterm was hard, but final was a piece of cake.
EASY CLASS. FUN CLASS. learned ALOTTT! very interesting, definitly worth taking. study guide is exact questions for midterm & final. not much hw, reading summaries here and there, write ALOT on it (not brief even though it says brief). very nice and interesting, not boring! eassyy eassyyy A.
i definately looved this class! i learned so much and still remember so many beneficial things. her class is chillax. she plays a lot of movies/videos. good lessons. just do study guides and youll be fine for the test. she takes attendence. take her! you wont regret it. i kept my book bc its soo worth the $80 something i paid to use foreverrr
fall 07. She's very nice, funny, & helpful. Class is always interesting. I learned a lot! It gives you a diff perspective on things. Girls especially loved it..More boys should really take this class! Easy weekly book work. Class was cancelled sometimes. Watched a lot of interesting videos. Tests are very doable, she helps b4. I loved this class!
Rose Hanna is very unprepared. She doesn't post things notes or grades until right before the class or during class. She cancels class with out letting anyone know.
AWESOME TEACHER!!! I highly recommend taking this class. Social psych was a blast with her.
Loved this class! Highly recommend her as a teacher. She relates everything to real life so you can really understand what topics are about. Her lectures are not at all boring, she makes the class very entertaining :)
The subject matter is interesting, but she can really irritate you. She cancels class without informing the students. Her lectures can be fun or get you really angry, depending on how you see things. If you study before a test, it's easy enough to pass.
Rose was a great teacher and Social Psychology is a really interesting class. She was absent to alot of the classes and I can see how some people could get annoyed during her lecture since sometimes she tries to fire people up for discussion and I can see how some people can get upset but very interesting class and I truly enjoyed this teacher!
Really enjoyed her class. She took a while to get back the test grades, but other than that made the class interesting and had discussions. Her tests were reasonable if you studied. Her womens studies class is really good too, liked her teaching style.
very bias person, horrible class...she is mean spirited; if you want to take this class, take a different teacher
Kind prof. who cares about her students. She's funny and shows interesting videos. Work is easy but she takes FOREVER grading big assignments. Tests are not very difficult but she does include material not covered in class. Not to mention she posts study guides just a few days before the exam. Overall a good person, ok prof. and interesting class.
she's hilarious! she knows her material really well and her class is very informative. this class makes me want to sign up for other upper division women's studies courses in the future. the work is pretty easy too.
Great Class! Absolutely loved this teacher! I definately recommend her. She gives study guides that really prepare you for the tests. You have to be a real idiot to not do will in this class!
Horrible!!! DO not know why she decided to teach addiction, since she knows nothing on the subject. When asked questions in class, would answer "i don't know" or give a wrong answer! cancels class with no notice and doesnt grade papers until after the final, so class had no idea what our grade was when we took final. If you want to learn, dont take
She is an okay psy professor. She does care about students and knows about the subject. Her exams don't always cover all the information she discussed in class so you have to read the book. Just go to class and pay attention and follow instructions and you will pass.
Very useless teacher! You pretty much teach yourself. Her tests have nothing to do with the book or her lectures! She randomly cancels class without any notice and she's the type of teacher who gets offended if your opinion doesn't coincide with hers!! If you want to learn, my advice? Take someone else, ANYONE ELSE!
Read straight from book in lecture & knew nothing else on this subject. Canceled class many times & her expectations were unclear on paper thus many people tanked it. Dont take her: not a dedicated teacher. Worse teacher ive ever taken for what could have been an interesting subject
i learned alot from this class....the textbook is interesting.....although shes says u dont have to agree with her you can tell she minds when u disagree....the EXAMS are ok....but have random questions....
lots of writing (reading summaries, journals, logs, papers, etc.) learn a bunch of interesting things. midterm and final have random questions but you have a study guide
Although the class teaches alot and the tests are not horrible, This teacher is very one sided. she frustrated me a lot with her crazy opinions. Take this teacher if you dont mind seeing only one side of abortion, birth control, abuse and so on
If you want a fairly easy course with a lot of reading, then this is the class for you. She quite frequently doesn't come to class and takes her lectures and slides directly from the book (she didn't write them, she uses the book-provided ones). She drops the lowest test score, and if you do well on the first three, you don't have to take the final
Rose hanna is a joke, she stops in the middle of her slide show lectures(right out of the book) forgetting what she's talking about. She doesn't stimulate your intellect in any manner. The textbook is all you need, she's useless. Don't disagree with her opinion, she can't handle it. Don't waste your hard earned money on this horrible teacher.
This teacher was great! very fun discussions in class and really helpful, if you go see her during office hours. Will definitely take her again.
This teacher is good! She tells you whats going to be on the test and gives a really great study guide. It's a pretty much fun class, she likes a lot of discussion. She doesn't take roll, so it's okay to miss. I'm planning on taking her again.
really good teacher when it comes to this subject. weekly readings w. mandatory notes but not hard at all. she knows her subject well and opens up peoples eyes about the misogyny in society. good proffesor highly recommend her. one mid term one paper one final. easy class
There's a lot of work, but they're all easy. Make sure that your reading notes fully complete the page front and BACK. Her syllabus doesn't say so, but she mentions it for a second on the first day. I missed half of the hw pts because I only filled out half the back of the notes pages. Prof doesnt accept any views other than her own. Simple class.
Professor Hanna was a very funny interesting teacher, very kind and is willing to help during her office hours, must read the reading material for class, her test are made up of questions that the students turn in,she is not an easy grader, but is willing to go over the grade you get to make any corrections, the only thing i did not like was her no
the teacher was extremely flaky and randomly would not show up to class, yet still had us turn in our assignments, she was by far the worst teacher i've had at CSULB so far
Professor Hanna is nice and the material is unique and interesting, but unfortunately, she is far too disorganized for a college class. We didn't know our grades until the final, there was so much pointless busy work, and she missed class many times.
She is such a good teacher and soo nice! She always gives you really interesting stuff to think about and a lot of good class discussion. The one thing i have to say is make sure you turn in hw on time. If you're late and turn something w/o a note she wont accept it. Definitely worth taking! Learned a lot of interesting things!
i really liked her class. the exams were not difficult at all. do the work and go to class and you should get an a or a b. dont buy the textbook, i rarely used it. although make sure you but the workbook which you will use weekly for hw
this was a really interesting class, but thats just my opinion. she was kinda biased though, so you gotta get on her good side. theres no test just a midterm and final. and for homework theres reading assignments like twice a month. we watched a lot of interesting films and her discussions are really interesting. overall, i recommend this class :)
Don't get the textbook. Just download her lecture slides. You could probably not even go to class at all except for the tests. Just study those slides. She has two projects that suck, but they're easy. Also the workbook pages that are due every week are also easy points. She's really nice and helpful in person.
A BUTTLOAD OF WORK! but an easy class. don'r slack off though.
Although her class is very easy, she is very disorganized and often stumbles when asked questions for clarity on a subject. Her class is not mandatory and attendance is not taken. Don't buy the book !!! I rarely used it and her powerpoint lectures were also online to print out and use.
She is a good teacher, very interesting but she goes too fast on the lectures and she has these online classes that were a waste of time. The exams are pretty hard. You dont need your book everything is on the power points which you can print out.
I loved this class! The teacher is very nice and keeps discussions interesting. Is very open to diverse opinions and wants students to share their opinions. I'm planning to take her again.
Great teacher. She'll try to scare you on the first day, but don't drop! She uses 2 textbooks, one (The Body Project) is not worth buying. Weekly homework assignments (notes from reading). You watch a lot of movies & have facilitated group sessions. I learned a lot. Do the work and you'll be fine.
Prof Hanna lectures without being bias. She definitely isn't afraid to reveal her opinion but she won't call you out just because you don't agree with her. Reasonable expectations & the workload is absolutely manageable. I sure did learn a lot from this class & I have no regrets taking it.
First day when she goes over syllabus, it seems she expects a lot of out her students. But in reality, she is pretty lenient and manageable. Her class was very interesting; a lot of movies and group discussions. But DO STUDY for midterm & final. Easy but I wouldn't slack off if you want at least an A. Very open-minded to what you have to say.
Great class to take if ur a lady, very interesting, u will not want to miss a class and you shouldnt cuz we watch videos and discuss a few things. u have weekly reading that you need to turn in, that are really helpful for the tests, which are really challenging even though they are multiple choice plus one paper and a journal and experiential log
nothing to complain about. im a lazy student and i got a B. easy work, read her notes online and read book if i needed some clarifying.
All her powerpoints are online, you could pass without attending classes other than test days and when projects are due. I felt she was just an "okay" professor. Weekly pages out of the textbook, easy points. Exams weren't completely difficult, passed with a B in the class and honestly, I barely studied.
We basically just watched videos and listened to boring powerpoint lectures. I honestly learned more by myself by reading the book. She hardly taught anything useful or truly relevant to that we couldn't get from the book. Professor didn't really have a good direction with her class teaching.
Pretty easy class. It could be interesting too. Professor is alright and can be funny. 2 major assignments that isn't too hard. Tests are pretty easy esp if you follow the study guide. Power-points are all online so you can ditch class as much as you like. There's weekly hw but really easy.
Loved the class!! Awesome teacher! will take her again.
DO NOT take this class. She does not know what she's talking about. Her course is extremely outdated. Teaching is just her side job.
OK class, just do the study guides and you should be fine. Consists of 2 exams and the final. And a big project worth a lot.
She's not the best women's studies teacher, but she's not terrible. The material she gave us was always interesting and easy to understand. It's basically an intro to feminism class, and Dr. Hanna is super duper feminist so I liked that a lot about her. Her teaching style is a bit disorganized though, but she's okay. The class isn't hard.
Test questions included opinions of authors and her own. Lots of videos, but make sure you write down any fact that could possibly be on the exam. Group project was difficult as we had at least 5 in each group and broad, undirected topics. Reflection papers were no big deal, but the topic paper took a lot of work. Be prepared to read.
Prof. Hanna is a lovely person. She's very nurturing and kind of like a cool aunt. She's makes a point to be engaging in class. The content of the class was really simple and mostly common sense, but it also provided basic info about personality and psychological disorders. Best part of the class was a self-change project. Easy and fun.
2 midterms, final, weekly hw assignments which are just questions about yourself, and 1 project. She had a group project planned out but since she canceled class occasionally she threw it out. Test are easy but they cover a lot of material but she does give a study guide. Powerpoint's are online but she occasionally takes attendance.
Professor can be funny at times and she does not give many tests. Some homework but it is really easy and no cumulative final!
She's a great person but an okay professor. Didn't really learn much but her class was easy: she gave study guides before every big exam, and everything she teaches is usually online. Certain videos you must take notes on but nothing you couldn't learn on your own. In general, felt more like a filler class than anything else.
Prof Hanna is my favorite teacher this semester! She makes a 3 hour class bearable and kind of fun. She is funny and the homework is weekly worksheets that are super simple. I only used the book to study for tests which she gives study guides for which help. I highly recommend taking her!!
She's eh. Reads off powerpoints... her class only gets interesting when she talks about her patients. There's a self change project and group project - takes too much time of your time. Tests are not bad though. As a person she seems nice, but I don't like her teaching style. She never passes anything back & doesn't update us on our grades.
Great teacher, yes she does read off her slides but she does lead to pretty interesting class discussions and brings in examples of her life and patients. Gives detailed study guides before exams. Gives two big projects. Posts lectures online. She's a very nice, helpful, makes the material easy to understand. Def would take again.
Class is canceled often. Not lots to be graded on. Ended up cancelling a lot of papers that were due, which was nice. We had a group project that really sucked. We spent WEEKS just listening to people present so I ended up not going to class most of the time. Ended up with a B because of the lack of communication in a group project.
Had her for Fridays, it wasn't as bad as I thought. She does read off her slides which are directly based off the textbook. Homework is just a worksheet or two that are enjoyable. She tries her best to make the class fun. There were MC exams, a group project, and a paper that's tedious that made up most of the grade.
She is a good person, but an ok professor. CANCELS CLASS ALOT. Excepts you to read, homework is simple worksheets, lots of papers but she usually ends up cancelling a lot of them. one group project that sucks because she is really vague about it. She can be funny at times, lots of videos, some you have to take notes for,
you say something and she will make you feel embarrassed of why you chose that if you dont believe what she does. You cant even say youre own opinion You take notes for every video you see in class for participation all them points add up so do them. Midterm and final and two projects. Homework is graded and the questions are on the test
The class consists of either watching videos and taking notes or doing activities in groups. There is a midterm, group presentation (super easy), final, and 10 simple homework assignments. Final/ Midterm consist of simple questions from reading and class discussions, a lot of questions come from the hw. Overall, super easy class.
You can get an A in this class no problem if you try. The homework takes minutes. She tells you what is on exams and her study guide is REALLY helpful. You need to study for the exams. She reads straight off the powerpoint , although going to lecture is helpful it is not necessary at all. The group project is super easy and self project takes time
I have mixed feelings about Prof. Hanna. She's a super sweet person and I looked forward to going to class because the lectures were interesting and fun. But as for the way you're graded, she gives homework assignments that have little to do with the curriculum and you can't pass the exams only going to lecture. Reading the textbook is very helpful
She's a bit all over the place but a decent professor. A lot of her videos and info are old, either mid-2000's or 90's which sucks because I'd love to look at stuff a little more recent. Seems intimidating + rough at first but is friendly once you get to know her. Homework is easy to find in readings + tests are based on homework + lecture notes.
There is a self-change project and a group project but it is very straight forward. Her lectures are on Beachboard so you don't really need the textbook. There were three exams (from what I remember) and each had a study guide to match. If you reviewed the lectures and understood them, exams are simple. Easy homework due every week.
super boring
She is very kind and funny. Her tests are compiled of the homework questions we had to complete. She makes class interesting and occasionally shows videos.
Hanna is very knowledgeable and she makes lectures easy to understand because she explains everything to you. She is not the most understanding if you bring up a concern. Liked her a lot in the beginning of the semester but then she showed more of a rude side to her and it wasnt pleasant to deal with.
Professor Hanna seemed cool at the beginning of the semester, and then she showed her true colors. Rude professor in all honesty. She wasnt a very understanding person, especially during the online transition from in person lectures to zoom classes. She will not round your grade. Called students who asked for a rounded grade annoying and entitled.
She was enjoyable during the beginning. Later on, she became very rude to other students and was often late for grading. She made multiple promises to students but never upheld until EVERYONE started to complain. The workload was fine and you can honestly pull an all-nighter to finish everything.
Professor Hanna was one of my favorite professors. She is super considerate of her students and you can tell how much effort she puts into teaching the material. She is very knowledgable on the topics she teaches and is open to helping out her students when you go to her office hours. A lot of discussions are really interesting and fun.
This 100 level class is waaay too much work for a GE credit. Readings are ridiculous, spent more time on this class than most of my 300 level classes. Avoid at all costs
I took this class because I was genuinely interested in learning about the topic. The workload is so crazy that I am thinking about withdrawing. With the stress of the pandemic and my other classes this class is unmanageable. The readings take hours, be warned!!!!
The class consists of valuable reading materials. I don't know about others but for me, I enjoy reading the articles. The assignments are not challenging, but she may grade hard on the group project and topic paper.
I would say the workload can be a lot most of the time because she does give out a lot of reading assignments. There are weekly quizzes with the readings she assigns. There's a midterm and the final exam but it has a lockdown browser which I didn't like at all. You do have to do a group project at the end which I didn't enjoy because it was online.
Professor Hanna's class is really easy! There's discussion posts and assignments turned in every week, but they are relatively simple. There's one essay and one group project based on certain issues women have to face. The exams are the same as the study guides too! Sometimes the readings can be a bit much but overall, I enjoyed most of this class.
Professor Hanna has been one of the best professors I have had so far! Although she does assign a lot of articles to read, as long as you get the gist of it you should be fine. Her midterm and final exam is basically as reflection of the weekly reading quizzes and the study guides she provides helps A LOT.
Online course: 2-5 assignments due weekly (watching of lecture and then quiz on lecture, watching ted talks, DB, & other assignments) 1 group project, 1 paper, 1 midterm & 1 final exam. This course wasn't hard, however, her presentation style and organization can be annoying.
Prof Hanna was by far my favorite professor! She really cares about her students and explains the material so it's easy to understand. I loved her class! The assignments were helpful and straightforward. Take her!
Hanna is a professor who is very passionate about her subject however the structure of the class can use some work. there are many assignments and a ton of group projects. If you aren't good in social settings / collaborative assignments, I'd recommend another professor as in-class participation matters.
Assigns WAY too much work for a 101 class and a lot of reading. The material is not difficult but Professor Hanna is a hard form-over-substance grader. If you struggle with disorganization or keeping up with textbook reading do not take her courses.
This class is so much work that Im thinking about withdrawing. I was just trying to take a GE credit that sounded genuinely interesting to me but this class takes more time than my 300 classes. The material and discussions are actually super thought provoking but the way Dr. Hanna grades and how much weekly work there is just make it too much.
I've taken a 300 WGSS class before and the amount of work did not equate to this class. The work isn't difficult to do, however it is a lot to do per week and she grades unnecessarily hard. She assigns a paper due and you also have to complete various assignments during the week as well and attend lecture. It's getting too much.
She was a great person and seems really interested in the subject taught, but her psychology background really shows. Readings were 13+ pages and usually assigned like 4 a week with hour long vids and weekly quizzes to check HW understanding. Way too much work for a 101 class but still was pretty easy/interesting and open to discussions.
This was her first time teaching Psychology of Religion, and you could tell how much effort she put into her lectures! I really loved attending the class and participating in the group discussions. She really cares about us and our thoughts! I hope she continues to teach this class in the future! If you see her name, take her!
take her! inspiring course, it feels like a group therapy session. tests are very scenario based so be prepared for that. easy reflection essays. i never did the readings and I got an A
Prof. Hanna is great. She has super interesting lectures, and very manageable set of homework and reading throughout the semester. She is very understanding and caring. The material covered is very interesting. This class is manageable, easy to pass, great teacher, and super interesting whether religious or now. Take it if u can!
3 exams, all open notes and textbook, one self-change experiment report that is really long so start asap, easy worksheets that you can do in 10 min or less, a group project but you are all graded individually so no need to stress about other ppl not doing their parts, and there is a pdf of the textbook so save your money. super easy class.
The class was dull, the prof read off slides without much enthusiasm. Homework got graded late and the grades felt random, even if you finished on time. The textbook we had to pay for didn't seem all that necessary. Prof wasn't very helpful or sincere. Overall the class was disappointing with its monotony, delayed grading, and unnecessary expenses.
Prof. Hanna's RST362 class is a must-take. Her engaging lectures and thoughtful assignments make the material super interesting, even if you're not religious. unstuck study was a lifesaver for study prep!
Her lectures were pretty interesting and gave fun applicable surveys for fun. There was a group project that had to be presented but it was alright. It felt weird when she canceled class once and expected us to know the content we were supposed to do and then come the next class doing a whole other chapter. she's pretty nice though
