Easy Class if you know your stuff, she is always hard to understand. Quiz almost everyday for extra credit because she wants you to go to class. Good intentions, but again incredibly hard to get use to the way she talks. Homework is online. Will be hard if you don't pay attention or read the textbook. She doesn't curve.

Rose is passionate about chemistry and it shows but her lectures are terribly boring, and usually very unorganized. Do not expect to get any one on one help, she is available only 30 minutes prior to class. Class test scores average at 65-68% but she seems to think that is good. DO NOT TAKE HER. I REGRET IT FULLY.

As others have said, her accent is VERY thick. If it wasn't for the textbook I would had failed She is caring, and will change due dates but when it comes to teaching, I would end up teaching myself as she goes way off topic all the time. If you have questions, be prepared to be interrupted as she does not let you finish speaking.

She's really nice, but very very disorganized when it comes to class organization. She never really came to lectures prepared, and her tests are really hard as well. I took her back in the summer quarter, and she just did not know how to teach well. I don't recommend taking her class unless you grasp things very quickly and don't need her help.

Rose Wang is really sweet, she really care about all the students do well in her class. She gives you lots of extra credit and her exams are straightforward. Homework is not that heavy compared to other chemistry class. You will get easy A if you review all the materials.

She is very messy and disorganized and with her accent, it makes it even harder to catch on. She's all over the place. Probably the worst professors I've had. She's nice and sweet but the way she teaches gives me anxiety. I basically taught myself by reading the text book.

If Chemistry is not a strong subject for you I would find another professor. Each time you attend the class it feels like you get more lost than before you went. She goes off topic very often and when you ask a question it doesn't feel answered all. Best way to succeed is self-learning.

If you are not already super familiar with chemistry this is not the class for you. She is very confusing and disorganized. Most of what I am learning is through self studying online because her classes make me more confused than I was originally. She relies on you knowing and asking other students and does not answer your questions on material.

Like others have said, unless you grasp things quickly and easily this class will be challenging. Her accent is thick and she constantly goes off topic. We have almost 3 hours with her on Zoom and she can barely finish going over the Lab. Her tests are worth 56% of your grade. Its crazy that she is the only Chem 30B professor at Foothill.

Worst teacher! You ask her for help? Ask your peers. Talks about random things. Not understanding. I worked so hard all quarter but I messed up on 1 exam! On her syllabus it says there is a 1% curve but I don’t get a curve because I messed up on 1 exam! I would’ve had an A-. She picks and chooses. Contradicts herself. DO NOT TAKE AT ALL!

probably one of the worst professors I've had. says that she will make accommodations for us but then uses it against you to make you feel grateful for her. never answers questions and will tell you to ask your classmates if you have trouble. her lectures are long and boring and often goes on long tangents. nice as a person but not as a teacher

As long as you hold onto the worksheets, online homework assignments, and "pop quizzes" (basically more worksheets) for the exams, you'll be totally fine. Professor Wang obviously wants her students to succeed and get good grades. Her class is really not difficult unless you don't try at all. The in-person labs are fun too.

I took her for Fall Semester 2022 at De Anza College. If you are willing to pay attention in classes and do the homework she gives, and review the "pop quizzes" you will be able to score very well in this class. Furthermore, a lot of your grades will be based upon the work and reports you do in Labs, which weren't hard. She also gives extra credit.

Shockingly incompetent. Lacks the basic skill of explaining an idea, due to language difficulty. She rambles, mumbles and just says gibberish. Doesn't directly answer questions. You must ask your peers instead. You must learn on your own/from peers. She unlocks the lab door and hands out grades - that is all. Avoid if possible, I'm not kidding.

Out of all the awful professors I've had, she is by far the worst. She takes 2+ hours to explain minuscule details and always goes off topic, leaving us 1 hour or less for lab. She is unaccommodating and doesn't know how to teach. You have to self teach with peers the entire quarter because she is so unhelpful. Save your time and don't take her.

Do not take her class if you want to learn. She is a nice person but she is not a good teacher. She doesn't know how to explain topics so her students can understand, and she takes 2+ hours trying to explain something small and leaves 20 minutes for the lab. She gives .5 extra credit for staying late and help clean the lab, be ready to do selfstudy

The teacher is very unprofessional, disorganized, and a tough grader. Her labs are boring, she tends to talk to herself without any time management and students need to rush every experiment at the end of the lab. Don't take her if you want actually to enjoy the class and learn something.

Be ready to do every single thing by yourself, litreally. She is the most awful prof I ever had, you can't even hear her. You'll have to do a lot of self study and ohh god she doesn't even answer your questions properly. she has a hearing problem and you'll be lucky if you have the chance to save yourself from her

Prof. Wang is an outstanding chemistry instructor-lectures are crystal clear, tightly organized, and genuinely engaging. She breaks down complex topics into simple, logical steps and explains the "why" behind every reaction and concept. Her explanations are so thorough that everything clicks, even the toughest chapters. You learn fast and deeply.
