I would recommend this teacher to anyone! She is very helpful and makes everything crystal clear on what needs to be done. She's great I wish I could have her as a teacher for every class!

I love mrs. Wilson!!! she is like the best math teacher ever :) all u have to do is so your homework and you are guaranteed to get an "A" on your test! i would most definitely recommened her to everyone :)

She's a great teacher All you have to do is listen to her in class follow the instructions and practice you're exercises all the time and you will get an A for her class

She spoke English. I don't know what that was about, but the homework was overwhelming. Even if I did well on homework the problems took hours to do and went the hard way. Example is, "Peter does 1/4 of the work. How much of the work does Bill do?". The normal person says duh! 3/4 but you have to spend two pages of equations to come up with the answer. All my other classes suffered cause this one took so much time for nothing and dragged me down.

Some of the comments about this professor are laughable. To the one bleow that claims they've been to 6 universities around the world; how did you end up at Palm Beach State College? LOL. This professor does what she is required for an intermediate algebra course. All objectives are clear and concise and she is there to guide you to success.

I absolutly loved this PROF. This was my 3rd attempt (took it twice in PBG) and failing again was not an option. She taught highschool so she knows how to break the work down for ur understanding. MUST DO HOMEWORK TO PASS TEST! COMPLETE PRACTICE test as what to expect on actual test. Mathlab visits earn you EXTRA credit. APPLY urself & u will pass!

I Took her for Intermediate and then College Algebra and she was great! She helped you learn the math. And you get extra creit everytime you go to the math lab. Shes an awesome teacher!

From someone who hasn't been the best in math courses, i have to say Professor Wilson is a great teacher. She gives extra credit for going to the math lab. She has a good sense of humor and is willing to help you outside of class if you still need help. I strongly recommend her. She also drops one test. She is worth taking!

limited text book use, buy the book only if you need to. only grades tests. the tests are exactly like the homework, so if you do the homework and understand it, youll do fine. she doesnt collect homework nor classwork. gives extra credit. if your not into homework but your good at passing tests THEN YOUVE JUST FOUND THE PERFECT TEACHER.

Absolutely LOVE THIS TEACHER & STYLE of teaching. 1st math instructor to help me understand the fundamentals of math, she will even sing a song to help u remember, & she requires class participation to make sure you understand material. HOMEwork is essential for passing test. Will drop lowest test score & quiz. Apply urself cuz u cant FLY threw

She will cover absolutely everything in 1h15 but you have to follow as this class is pretty hard. She does expect her student to do their home work but they are not mandatory. She will drop one test out of 4, the final 5th test will not be dropped. Extra credit for attendance at the math lab. I spent days there and it paid.

I came into her class thinking that she was going to be hard as hell with me since it was...college algebra. I got an A in that class. She is a great teacher. You get extra points towards your tests if you go to the math lab and do the homework! She uses problems from there on the tests. Just study the homework and you'll be good :)

i loved Prof. Wilson. her teaching style is if you pay attention in class, do the HOMEwork, and study; then you will pass. you HAVE to attend class to understand. she teaches about 2 sections every class day, so its important that you attend. overall, i loved her, and im taking her again for college algebra.

idk why she has a bad rating. she was very helpful and gave supporting notes for all examples. I took online and did so awesome after failing over the summer. I highly recommend her online course.

I had to pass this class on my third attempt. Oh my god was i nervous to take a class online that i failed twice in. to be honest it isnt as bad as i thought it be. you just need to keep up with your work and your fine. also get a friend who is good at math to help you. it takes of pressure! =) recommend online vs. class!!!

The way she used my math lab really helped. I have never done so well in a college math class. She is really funny too.

She is a really good teacher! the first week is tough because theres a lot to get used to, but once you see how everything works her style is actually really helpful! you just have to really study the syllabus the first week and it gets easier to understand the pattern. She's a good math teacher, i'd recommend her for sure

you have to stay in touch with her the first couple weeks to make sure you understand how the class works, but once you get the hang of it, it's a really good class!perfect class for someone who can work independently.

I took Prof. Wilson's express Int. Algebra class during Summer A. I am generally not too good at math but I managed to do well in this class. She writes out clear notes and tells you exactly what will be on the test. The homework is pretty much the exact same thing that's on the test. I am taking her again in the fall.

Professor Wilson is by far my favorite professor at Palm Beach State College. She is very engaged in teaching her students and makes sure every one is ready for upcoming tests. Even though she is a great professor however, you must do the homework to pass the class! After all, comprehension is the point of math!

Amazing teacher

Took this class online. The only complaint i had is that the extra credit was hard to get - It was a practice test online, the only way to get the extra credit is to get 80% or higher, its 40 questions. For someone who struggles with math I wasn't able to get any extra credit and why would someone who can get 80% on the test need the extra credit?

Wasn't too fond of her at first, she can be very rude toward students. A lot of homework but it's online. Tests aren't really hard. I passed with an A but I think that's because I'm good at math. Do the homework and you'll be fine, it's the same kind of questions as the quizzes just different numbers.

I took this class as an express class. I'm terrible in math but I managed to get an A. She can come off quite rude, and she makes you work for the grade, but she goes step by step making the material easy to learn. Do the homework, attend class, and you'll do fine. Plus if you go to mathlab she'll give you extra credit.

Great teacher! I would take her again for sure! Extremely helpful. As long as you go to class and do the homework you will have an easy A.

She really is a great teacher. I took her for an online summer class and I had taken her for intermediate algebra in the past, she is very organized and clear. You have a chance for extra credit on every test by getting an 80 or higher on the practice test and can take it as many times as you want, which helps for the actual exam, good teacher

BY FAR THE BEST PROFESSOR I'VE EVER MET. Genuinely a nice caring person and wants to make sure everyone gets it. She def uses my math lab and its okay because it gives you a lot of help. It's so simple to show up to class, take notes, participate, and do your homework. Her tests are easy, straightforward, & not surprising as in you did it in the HW

At first I was nervous taking this class, I thought it was extremely hard at the beginning I was ready to withdrawal but towards the end of the class she gave so much extra credit and the final was easy that my D went all the way u to a B. Thumbs up

Professor Wilson is a nice teacher. She can be cool and chill, depends on her mood sometimes. Intermediate Algebra is an easy class for me so I didn't find it so hard. You do have to do online work from MyMathLab to get extra points but that's easy. Other than that shes good.

Great teacher!!! I would take Prof. Wilson again in a heart beat! She teaches I said TEACHES. She has you get involved in class and makes sure every student is understanding the material if not she will help you! Trust me she is a great teacher and truly cares about her students. Plus she has a sense of humor!!

Professor Wilson is a great teacher if you truly pay attention. Took her for a 6 week precalc course & it wasn't impossible. Do the homework and practice tests. If you really understand college algebra, you should be fine since the entire first half of precalc is college algebra. If math isn't your best subject, I would pick a different professor.

Really solid professor to choose. She is great and her lessons are easy to understand if you really try. Mymathlab becomes bothersome after a while but if you work hard she will help you understand everything. She may seem intimidating at first but she is Very nice and likeable if you get on her good side. She may even make jokes with you.

Always go to class! She can teach 2 lessons in one class period! First math teacher since high school that helped me understand the most! DO ALL MY MATH LAB! she stresses about the homework

She gives a maximum 25 extra credit points, which could really help your grade in the long run. She relies on MyMathLab for her homework. If you don't understand something she will take the time to help you. She goes over the tests after taking them, write down those notes, you'll need them for the final. Overall amazing teacher. Taking her again!

I love her classes! I always understand all the exercises because we have the MathLab, worksheets every class and also a SI leader that give to us many solutions of a problem and before every test we do a review.

Professor Wilson can be a tough professor but it was worth every second. She pushed me to be the best I can be. Shes a tough professor but I wouldn't be getting my moneys worth if it were easy. As long as I did the work and extra credit I was fine. I got a 97 in that class.

All her tests are not multiple choice, but she gives partial credit to the questions. In class she goes fast with the teaching, and can get hard to keep up.

Prof. Wilson is great at what is does. She goes over the question in multiple ways so you can find what works for you. She used the textbook a lot when i had her but it helped a lot. A LOT of homework but you have until the day of the test to complete it and its great practice. She is really understanding and wants her students to succeed. Effort!

do the homework in my math lab, before lectures. you should know the material before you get to class. she teaches in review but i enjoyed the class. it was just tough enough that i could not slack. if you know the material you will fly threw with ease if not she gives you different sources to learn. do the work get the A

I survived this class. The reason I survived this class was thanks to her extra credit. Hard subject, not for quitters and lazy.

Fantastic teacher, really helps you learn and retain material. Express class so it was VERY difficult, so you must devote TIME to this class if not familiar with Algebra. Gives plenty of extra credit (go to Math lab, promotes learning/practicing properly) rather than just random extra credit. Homework heavy. Very straight forward with expectations.

A good teacher. The class was an easy A for me. She goes a little fast but for me I did just fine. I brought the textbook everyday. Only homework is on MyMathLab which can get annoying but it is great for reviewing the day before the test. If you understand upper level Algebra then this class should be just fine for you!

Great teacher. If you like things to be done systematically, she's the teacher for you. Tough grader, but she tells you how she wants her answers to be written in her test during her lectures. Extra credit is always available for up to 25 points, and she usually has an SI in class for extra help for the students.

Took her for MAT1033C and aced that class, so I decided to take her again. College Algebra is a lot harder than Intermediate Algebra, but she was very clear and thorough when teaching us the material. You do have to do lots of homework, so you have to put in the work but overall great class.

One of the hardest math classes I've ever taken. The lectures seem fast because the class is short, but she made the most of our time and was easy to follow along with the lecture. Lots of homework, but doing the homework was very helpful when studying for her tests. She gives extra credit too, so there is a chance to boost your grade.

Professor Wilson is a great professor. Teaches the material very clearly. What she teaches in class is what is on the test, so there are no surprises. Lots of opportunity to earn extra credit.

Professor Wilson is one of the best professors I've had the pleasure of having. She's very helpful and she's always available when needed. I would go during her office hours and do my homework there and she would help me very patiently. She has group work during class, so you'll always have the help of your classmates. AWESOME PROFESSOR!!

This was my first dual enrollment course that I took and I took and online and overall she was fair and easy teacher. She gave lots of opportunities to redo assignments. For example, she offers 3 attempts for quizzes and she will take the highest grade and she will offer unlimited attempts at homework questions. Some weeks the assignments were long

Took online during summer (12 weeks). For Test 1 and Test 2 it was mandatory to take at a TESTING CENTER, after that all tests were online. This is a self-taught class with online videos and examples to help. There is a lot of homework weekly but it is unlimited attempts until the due date. Also, the quizzes you re given multiple attempts.

This was my third attempt, I was thinking of not taking it due to the comments posted BUT thank god I did. The first two test are required to be taken in a testing center after that you take your quiz and test anywhere. She does remind you when work is due. I failed twice before with a D now got a B could of been a A had i put a bit more work in.

I took Prof. Wilson for a online class for College Algebra. She made it very clear what was expected from it&there was no loophole. She gave ample time to get assignments and tests done. She was very good at reminding us when assignments were due and she was available to speak with most of the time. She also gives extra credit towards the end

She was a good professor, but if you are not really good at math I recommend you to take someone else since she doesn't go really into depth about every chapter. She kinds just goes through them quickly, i like math so it wasn't too bad for me.

Professor Wilson is the best math teacher you can take! I took her for college algebra and pre-calculus and she's amazing. She knows how to explain difficult concepts very well, she gives out extra credit , she's very caring on how you do. She is more than willing to stay after she's one with her classes to help you with anything. The best teacher!

I have taken her for every college math course up to Liberal Arts Math, the last math course required for Cyber Security BAS at PBSC. I have received an A in all 3 with her. She will help you office hours if you need help understanding the material, just make sure you don't go before lunch time go earlier to see her. Do your homework you will be ok

She is a caring and great professor. She gives you a lot of opportunities for extra credit and she gives group quizzes. Her test arent too bad if you study and do your mymathlab homework. She will help you if you don't understand. She's kinda funny and really nice. PAY ATTENTION. If math isn't your strongest subject she will help you.

A lot of homework. I would recommend this class for a semester, not in summer. You would need to put a lot of effort and time into this course. Midterm and final are required in a test center. Her lectures are relevant to the assignments. tough subject, but great professor!

The class is going to require a lot of work, but that is the nature of the class. If you do all the assignments on MyMathLab and actually use the "help me solve" thing, you can easily solve all the questions using the steps they give you. Taking the class online was easy for me because the last half of the tests you take at home and you can cheat.

Professor Wilson is so knowledgable. This course is difficult but she is always there to help when needed. She has a clear schedule, which clearly states when the homework is due, and when there are quizzes or tests. She is really nice and will help and can clarify information very well. I would 100% take her again.

Professor Wilson has a clear outline of test dates and she usually sticks by them, her lectures can be confusing at times, but her office hours are very accessible and shes very kind. It's not an easy class and you need to work for your grade, but she does equip you well, do the homework and test review and you should honestly be fine.

Professor Wilson is direct but not hands on. The lectures are in MyMathLab and from the 90s so the videos are weird. I would recommend a tutor because I needed one for some of it. The quizzes and tests are all online and she drops the worst test and worst quiz. You have weekly homework, quizzes, later practice test. Better than a bad professor.

I am not the strongest at math, however professor rose made this class manageable and the fact that it was online I felt like i was on campus. Her assignments were understandable and it aided with the learning process. I got a B because i missed a test due to family emergency. she also gave a chance to redo some assignments with a mark reduction

For a math teacher she is very understanding and offers a lot of opportunities to do well in the class. I missed one test and that was no problem because she drops the lowest grade of one test and one quiz at the and of the semester. I have never done so well in a math class before. She's great!

A lot of hw each week but I expected and appreciated it because it helped me practice all the concepts that were on the quizzes and tests. A few times the prof. lecture vids didnt cover everything that was on the hw but there is a show me an example option that helps break down problems & power points. Extra credit & drops lowest test & quiz.

She wasnt too bad but being that the class was on blackboard it did irritate me that she wasnt as understanding to showing how to create certain graphs on snip it. Other then that do your work on time and dont give up.

I am terrible at math and I got a B. Professor Wilson made it very easy for me to pass, work hard on the Homework, practice and do your best on the tests and quizzes and you will do well. It was a bit of HW.

Professor Wilson is a respectable woman who made it clear on the first day of class of what to expect in this course. As long as you are willing to dedicate time into studying and come prepared to class by printing out the notes ahead of time you will be fine. Participation is big in her class as you will be called on to help fill out the notes.

Professor Wilson gives students everything they need to succeed! Even if you are bad a math, you will get a good grade in this class! Not a ton of HW, just stay on top of things and you'll be alright. Drops lowest test and quiz grade. Lots of extra credit opportunities.

Her class is so simple. The practice test is the same as the test, but with different numbers. I would take her again and again. She made me love Math. If you want an easy A without doing any work, don't take her.

This professor is one of the best math teachers I had so far. I struggle with Math a lot and this professor has been very helpful. She gives you many chances and extra credit and is willing to accommodate your needs which is not very common with other math professors. Overall, I would take her again for my other classes.

I don't know why there are so many nasty comments. Professor Wilson is a great professor. Sure, the emails are a lot, but it sets reminders. Lockdown Browser is used, so study a lot.

She gives a lot of time consuming work but it is all needed. The assignments help you understand the test and are also similar to the test. She explains anything you are not understanding without getting frustrated.

If you don't do the homework on time, you'll struggle in class and on tests. She gives homework after each section and accepts late work with a penalty by semester's end. Her class is tough if you fall behind. I took her for two math classes and loved her. She's helpful, sees students' potential, and is always available during office hours.

She offers extra credit, explains with patience, and is always available to help. Her dedication creates a supportive and motivating learning environment. Highly recommend.
