BAD PROF. SEEMED NICE THE FIRST DAY THEN SHE DROPPED A BOMB ON THE CLASS THE NEXT SESSION. TEACHES WAY TOO FAST; ALWAYS ANSWERS HER OWN QUESTIONS WITH 'YAH.' VERY ANNOYING. WHATEVER.

Worst professor for psychology 100. She ranted on about her professon, but nothing helpful

It is very easy to pass this class as long as you read the book. As for the papers, she is not clear on what she expects. If you have a question about the paper it is better not to ask it because you will still be confused!!!

she speaks too fast but if you read the book then your guaranteed a good grade. make sure she has the right grades in her record bc she dropped me n my friends' final grades one whole letter.

I hate to say it but Prof. Flores is a disgrace. She indeed speaks very fast, the only time she doesn't speak fast is to talk about herself or her daughter. Other than that she is very unhelpful and has an attitude problem, especially if you ask her to repeat something or go back to a slide, her response is ".You're in College, not elementary."

awful..u practically dont have to go to lectures b/c none of the questions on the exams are from them..if u wanna pass u gotta hit the books from day 1 b/c shes is a WITCH!! she walks around and talks about nothing!

Very unhelpful! She talks about nothing all the time. If she didn't take attendance I would have stopped coming to class at the begining of the semmester! Her tests are somewhat easy - just read the book, don't waste your time on her notes nothing from it will be on the test. She has a very bad attitude, don't you ever ask her for help - you'll fee

Personality wise-this professor's attitude is horrible,disgusting,intimidating & lacks personality. And according to psychology, happier people live longer, she should know. However, if you read the study guide, you'll do fine. And attendance is EXTREMELY important.

Stay away people!!!! She is a witch! She should never teach. She is not even professor in our school - asistant! But she behave as a snobiest PhD! She has a nasty attitude. Not helpful at all. Never available for her students. Not a fair grader. Try to avoid her classes.

Very unhelpful, dont ever take her class, will ruin your semester! Unpleasent person, takes herself way too seriously. One of those professors who has it in for the students....

The worst ever. Don't try and take the final ahead of time. She gave me a D and I got higher scores on my tests and did the useless homework while my friend who attended class less than I did and did almost no homework assignments and who did way worse than me on the test got a C. I hated her & the way she speaks, it is very annoying!

This is the first time I not only hated a class, but actively HATED the professor as a human being. She is HORRIBLE in every way. The level of analysis in her class is overly simplified, her teaching style is confusing, and her attitude is rude and condescending. HATE. HER. Had a hard time not flipping her off when I left.

For a psychologist, she sure is insensitive. I feel like she had it out for me from the beginning, and was thrilled to see me withdraw, despite the fact that I am nearly a straight-A student and in the honors program. She's also a horrible teacher. I gained nothing but a headache from her class. Avoid if you want to learn or be treated with respect

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! She is really arrogant and loves the sound of her own voice. She doesn't give you enough time to copy the notes because she talks WAY too fast and never repeats anything. Her tests are only passable if you REALLY study!

Worst professor in the world. Gives about 10 homework assignments. Did all of them, came to class, did well on exams and got a c-. I e-mailed several times pertaining to my grade but NOTHING.

I've been reading some of the comments and people are lying about oOOoo she's just mean because she knows her stuff. NOO she's mean because she is a monster. Don't take her. Take another professor. Another thing, I wasn't looking for an easy A but what I was looking for was a good professor which SHE IS NOT.

One of my very first professors and I must say take another Professor! AVOID her at all costs! She is the worse professor ever! I pulled an allnighter and overslept only a little got to class only 5 minutes late, and she said that I couldn't take the FINAL exam! Got an incomplete and had to take it the semester after in the end! OUTRAGEOUS! AVOID!

Run the other way. Do not take this Professor. What are you thinking?!!

This class has been a waste of time. She spends most of the time just talking about what we're going to learn. And then just lectures on about random current events. She doesn't set a clear objective for class each day. Pointless syllabus. I've learned almost nothing from her class and frankly I'm not sure she knows what she's doing as a professor.

all this professor did was talk about current events that had nothing to do with the chapters.. She's always behind the chaps, so you have to keep track of where she's up to & where we SUPPOSE to be .skips through the notes quick & never uploads them on blackboard. Never clear on what's on tests, no study guides, rude even to her Ta. Likes to brag.

Not a good psych professor, had her for human development and didn't make it interesting at all. Would not recommend her.

Prof. Flores has a big course load. She does not make room for the students responsibilities outside of class. The books that she makes students buy are too expensive. She expects a lot from students but she doesn't deliver herself. Unfair, unjust and unreasonable. Her knowledge of social injustices are just that. She is smart but not wise. Avoid.

Continuation: She tends to go on tangents, does not provide clear rubrics for the material assigned (all of which do not count for credit but are mandatory), and will make even the most dignified student feel embarrassed if they ask a question for clarification. Take this class if you need to. If you can, try and find another professor. Good luck.

Worst professor ever encounter in Hunter. She does not come as scary nor intimidating, she definitely is passionated by what she teaches and her class is tough but not out of the ordinary. However, her lectures are extremely boring, it makes it incredibly hard to be interested, she never learned how to explain something it seems. She doesn't care!!

This professor is absolutely awful. I have graduated now however, this was my worst professor at Hunter. She is rude, condescending and a tough grader. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE HER. I regret taking her while I was at Hunter- BEWARE!!!! She made my last semester hell!

I wish I could have dropped this class. Prof. Flores is completely unapproachable. When asked for help her automatic response is "do the reading" or "go to the library". The librarians do not even understand what she is looking for. 2 large projects due simultaneously, i 100% regret this class. DO NOT TAKE HER. DO NOT.

Roseanne Flores is one of those professors that makes coming to class absolutely miserable. I genuinely enjoy learning and attending classes, although she clearly knows the material she is teaching, she is absolutely the worst professor I have ever MET. So so so rude and condescending.

Professor Flores is clearly educated in her field but very clearly not educated in manners and how to communicate. Extremely rude to students, will literally shake her hand in your face and tell you to walk away before you can open your mouth. TRUE STORY. Hunter College needs to implement seminars for professors on how to properly talk to students.

Extremely LACKING and RUDE. Verbatim, turn on ZOOM and stay silent. Forbidden to engage in any format. No questions or participation allowed. She's EXTREMELY lacking in manners. Her preferred norm of communication is condescending and dismissive. She regurgitates the textbook and you're only there for credit. No learning here, only arrogant ego.

Kind of rude and never answers students questions. Often goes on tangents unrelated to the class. Other than that, course is easy since everything is based on the textbook and lecture slides. She reads off lecture slides so theres really no point in going to class. Very important to make a group chat/make friends in this class!

Hard to reach, does not allow you to ask questions without making you feel dumb. Tests are straightforward so are the hws. Absolutely trash professor but easy class. Read the textbook, no point in going to class- she just reads straight off the textbook content.

This professor doesn't really give informational lectures, she mostly just reads off the textbooks. She isn't communicative and will take forever answering her emails. At one point there was a situation of conduct which she didn't really clear up about or gave an explanation which confused our classmates and I lot more & we have very few lectures.

Flores shouldn't even have the position she has at any college. She's mean, rude, doesn't care about students, and brings shame to the profession of psychology. She accused numerous students of cheating on an exam and the majority got their case dismissed because she just did it to cause hell for students. AVOID HER!

Her lectures/data havent been updated since 2014. She refuses Qs& class participation. Her lecture notes are word-for-word what she reads mindlessly in class,& for the Ombud for Hunter, is on the NIH & teaches child dev., she has ZERO sense of empathy for any students. Absolutely disrespectful. But an easy A. just take notes & ignore her foul self.

Her lectures are all directly from the textbook with little to no insight. You cannot ask questions during class without either being shut down or feeling dumb. She has no empathy for students, never answers emails in a timely manner, and was generally rude overall. Avoid her at all costs!

She's terrible. Worst Psych prof at Hunter. She's indifferent, couldn't care less about problems that students have, totally disregarded the pandemic effect on low income students, pretty ironic since she prides herself in doing research for disadvantaged individuals. She has an inferiority complex, so if you're smart, don't, she'll embarrass you.

She's the worst professor l've had. She's always late. Doesn't grade ANYTHING for most of the sem. Very rude & condescending, often makes students feel dumb, has a constant attitude,has unnecessary rules & isn't willing to work with anyone,NEVER answers emails, spends too much time on topics that don't matter, overall incredibly hostile, AVOID HER!

This class is very heavy in writing. Tough grader and no late work aloud. Participation and attendance matters so do not miss class. Not accessible through email. This professor however, is the only professor that teaches this class in Hunter so if you really need to take this class, best advice is to e-permit it at another college.

I am warning you right now to pick another psych300 class. The most rude and disrespectful professor I've had at Hunter. Doesn't answer ANY emails. Chastises students for being late and shows up late constantly herself. Don't bother asking or answering questions if you don't want to get a passive aggressive response that makes you feel lesser than.
