Professor Denunizo is a very good teacher. She is not only very experienced, but very informative. Going to her classes is an asset for she teaches the information in an easy manner so that all are able to learn from her. Tests are quite easy.

Very good teacher, and funny, not that any one seems to get her humour. She really doesn't get the respect she deserves, which is unfortunate.

Pretty good prof. She teaches the info well and going to her class is an asset. Yes there are lame jokes, many about poo... but it makes for a break in the 3 hour class

Greatest prof I've ever had. Unless you're just taking the course because you saw anthro on Saved by the Bell: College years and thought Anthropology would be easy, you'll love it. Some people wouldn't shut up in her class though... probably did poorly.

De Nunzio's class was really boring, but always go anyway, she likes to drop exam hints. Easy, multiple choice exams make up for boring stupid stories in class...also fairly short temper

Despite what people have wrote about her, she is an awsome prof! I found her stories entertaining and they broke up the class a bit. Lectures are very important to attend and there is tons of writing....but still, very enjoyable!

I absolutely loved both of these classes with her, and if I could, I would take more with her in a second. She has a lot of knowledge about anthropology and has done a lot of stuff in her lifetime(including being inside the Pyramids in Egypt!)

One of my favourite profs. I think her lectures are very interesting, stories included. Exams are pretty easy. I definitely recommend attending classes though.

She was a great teacher. I loved her stories that she told us about her different adventures around the world. She isn't too hard and she drops exam hints in class so attending would be a good thing! Best prof!

Both classes were good, the material was presented so that you had to go to class & read the text to get an A, but you arent likely to fail if you do one or the other.. Her stories weren't that bad, lighten up. Nice lady, will talk your ear off if you show interest.. very helpful outside of class

She is an amazin prof and with a weird sense of humour nonetheless if u cant laugh at her jokez u can alwayz laugh at her... classes were interestin especially when it came to evolution and a very nice person if u are nice to her...

One of the best prof's I've had yet. She's a little quirky but she has lots of interesting stories and lots of experience in anthro but if it's not your thing you'll hate it. Her class notes are good, but still need to do some reading to get an A. Generally all m/c exams.

Honestly, i found her to be an excellent prof. The trick to do well in her class is you have to not only take down what she has on her overheads, but you must also make some additional notes. Her tests aren't too bad, though m/c can be tricky. But go to class, read the book and there's no reason not to get a B. Very helpful and loves to joke around

Very amiable and a bit nutty - I liked her right off. Seems like she wanted to be a stand-up comedian but could only come up with corny puns. Enjoyable class.

Awesome prof. Some find her funny some don't, regardless, she knows her stuff and is always willing to help, especially during office hours, she's fair and her exams are awesome as long as you know your stuff and go to class. She is always willing to help you however she can. It's a shame she doesn't teach more Anthro classes.

I thought she was wonderful. She immediately communicates an interest in the material, which is vitally important; her sense of humour goes a long way in aiding her lectures. There is lots to read, but the material is not difficult...all you have to do is memorize it (and make sure you attend lectures). She's also very approachable.

Prof. Denunzio got me interested in anthro! I will never go back to any other discipline! She makes funny jokes in class and is very understanding. You should attend class to make your grade worth the money you pay however... Wonderful professor overall!

Awesome person and prof. Though her puns get old quick, you can't help but smile at her caring nature to teach and guide the class. Extremely approachable, and a great person to talk to about the different subjects in anthropology. she reinforced my love of anthropology.

Professor Denunzio is fantastic! Her tests are hard but she's a wonderful person. She knows her stuff well, and love her lectures. She's also very helpful when you need it.

she's very nice and approachable but her tests are tricky. i studied for 3 days and only got a C+. make sure you read every little detail. but if you need any assistance she'd be glad to help! also make sure you go to all lectures and take lots of notes!

wipe that smirk off your face...she is very sweet, knows her stuff, approachable for help, but the course is mandatory and extremely difficult. her jokes get old quickly, though she does get the class involved which is good. but had to take the course twice because the tests are hard

Denunzio is absolute one of my favourite profs here! She was exceedingly helpful whenever needed. Her lectures were intertaining albeit a little goofy with silly anecdotes from her experience as an archeaologist. So long as you study and do your readings, exam were very easy. It's a shame she's not teaching more courses.

She's a sweet lady but her tests are tricky! Make sure you read everything. She asks some very detailed questions abuot random articles in the textbook I didn't think we would need to know. If you don't like reading, don't take this course. You wont pass if you don't read the entire textbook

At first, I was scared as hell after reading all the comments on here, as I was going into the midterm and had no idea what to study. However, after giving a few reads to my notes, and finishing the required readings, it wasn't that bad. Class can drag on sometimes, and a laptop is definately helpful, but class isn't as bad as people say it is.

I thought the exam was fairly easy, got 87% on it... and I studied one night for it! She is a good prof, likes to make jokes and tell interesting stories... She knows what she is talking about (shes been in Egypt and Arctic and chased by polar bears!) I really enjoyed her class.

I love Professor Denunzio! She has so much knowledge on the subject and provides an interesting and entertaining perspective. I love her puns and her stories. It makes some dry material more interesting. The only thing I don't like is the 50% midterm, 50% final. If you go to class and do readings, you will do okay though!

She's by far my favourite teacher here! I loved going to her class every week. Her jokes and stories were odd but funny. I'd recommend taking one of her classes to anyone!

Amazing! She not only is an excellent and interesting teacher, but a wonderful person with a kind heart. She's very approachable and will even call you back if you need a question answered. She's completely adorable and makes the class fun with her jokes and passion for the subject of anthropology and archaeology. LOVE HER!

She's a great prof, you can tell she loves what she does. She's great at explaining things and really open to questions. She is very insisting on students coming to class, not talking, and not packing up early. If you get a chance go meet her a couple times, she remembers faces. Overall, awesome and enthusiastic prof!

Denunzio was an amazing teacher! She is very helpful and gives many hints as to what is on the exams. Lectures were very interesting, but long. In order to do well though, its best to attend all classes and do all of the readings!

Denunzio was one of my favorite professors. She is clear and concise. To do well in her class take down all of what she says and read all of the texts. She is very helpful and will prep you for exams if you see her.

So if you are really interested in human evolution then I would encourage you to take this class, but if you care not, then do your self a favor and do not take the class

She is such an interesting prof,and man,BRING A LAPTOP.Write down EVERYTHING SHE SAYS,they are your study notes for exams.I typed out everything and it helped out a lot.Your textbook is your best friend,read EVERYTHING.Exams are really easy, but you have to study.You have to be interested in this subject to do good in it.Good luck.

She is very passionate about anthropology. I thought I was going to hate this class at the beginning but I actually quite enjoy it. She is easy to understand and if its important she will repeat it. The textbook is also very important to do good in this class.

Very passionate about anthropology. MAKE sure you take notes, preferably on a computer. She makes it seem like she tests hard, but it isn't that bad if you take notes, and READ the book. As long as you study, you should do fine.
