Health is not a fun subject. I missed over 1/2 the semester and Iconis still passed me. EASY GRADE. She is willing to go the extra mile for her students and does all she can to add points to your grade(with minimum extra work).

Always cancel class and is always late. Her text book sucks and she wrote it so you have to do easy lame questions and essays and she gives you alot of extra credit points. The final is not mandatory. You would have to be pretty stupid to fail her class.

Excellent professor, provides several ways to get credit or points to get a good grade in the class. Very easy and class isn't all that boring. Make sure you come to class. I recommend taking this 2 credit class, instead of 2 1 credit class. Final can be optional, and prof seems in tune with students.

Highly recommended, the teacher is easy to understand and gives many options to raise your grade which is a different style of teaching but great nonetheless , teacher also tries to make the class interesting and make you think. The class is fairly easy and you should take this 2 credit class rather than health 101 because you can obtain an A.

Come to class, have the workbook, study the worksheets, and you're set. Since she works on a point system, it's easy to get an A. You can easily keep track of your points and do what you have to do to boost your grade. Her class was interesting as well. Glad I took her.

She taught human sexuality at Nassau Community College and I couldn't say anything bad about this woman. She does not want you to fail and built a system to make you strive for better. Yes you must buy her book but buying it is cheaper than buying 3 separate ones, saying the same thing. During controversial topics I still felt safe. & She's funny.

Best Professor EVER! I asked if there's a twin working here. LOL. Because of her my 1st visit to college was great. Exams are not strenuous. She is thorough with class material and gives all information needed to pass the 40 Multiple Choice questions. She always have a great story for you; and encourages your participation/stories without judgment.

I took her for Human Sexuality and she wonderful. There is a required workbook because it helps you study for her exams. She gives 3 exams and one final. All multiple choice and she gives extra credit so it helps. Overall, the class wasn't hard and she uses a point system which is cool. Just study, do well on exams and rack up those points.

To get an A in this class just show up since she gives out points in nearly every class. Her final is cumulative & the textbook is filled with worksheets that you do in class. If you somehow bomb(nearly impossible) every test or skip more than 2 classes she has extra credit you can do. She specifically tells you wants on the tests in class.

Her tests are fair as long as you study what she tells you to study and she gives plenty of chances for easy points. However, I don't feel she is as "sweet" as other students have expressed, she has major attitude at times for no reason.

BEST TEACHER EVER! not hard at all, and grading goes through a point system. She's unorganized sometimes but is hysterical. I have taken 2 of her classes and do not regret it at all. I have gotten A's in both! Just do her little assignments, study for her easy multiple choice tests and show up!

A generous grader. The grading system she invented is so far the best I have ever seen. You show up on time. You take notes, and you're fine. If you do well for the first three exams you're very likely to have no need for taking the final. Easy A definitely. By the way, if you're not a native, please sit as near the board as possible.

Had her for both IS 151 & HE 105. She used a point system in both so u build ur grade. 105 was a fun discussion class with a required paper that was more like a q and short a. She won't accept it late at all but you can hand it in any time before the due date even by email. 151 was mostly lecture heavy, note taking, & exams but still interesting.

Rosemary was an amazing professor. She gives so many extra credit opportunities that theres no way to fail. She gives few assignments but they are light. I took her in the summer at Nassau and it was the best experience. She is a funny lady and also caring. Teaching style is amazing and if you have a chance take her you wouldnt regret it.

The professor is easy going and will listen to you if you have a problem, participation is important and of course it makes the class entertaining, if you get her to teach you expect a good grade but her deadline do follow them.

Shes very old school and writes on the board for everything, her lectures are clear and simple and very easy to understand. No textbook. Attendance matters but she usually dismisses early always. Shes hilarious and very honest as well too, she will help you if you need it just be straight up. One of my favorite professors this semester!!

Due to Covid19 the class is in online. All you need is 45 points to get an A. you have 15 weeks for fall and spring semester, and if you do ALL the works from beginning of semester then you will be done within week 10. Just take her.

pro: all you need is 45 points. dics board-max 2points, weekly assignment-3-4 points, exam- 0-5 points. cons: reading. weekly assignments are easy but for exams you need to read. however look at my comment. comment: I got full points on every dics board (16points). did 10 assignments which I received 26 points and rest was exams. Her grading system is different but SO MUCH EASIER! each homework is about 3-4 point once your reach 45 you've gotten yourself an A, everything is optional and once you have the points you want you're done

Completely asynchronous class. she provides easy homework with pdf of the textbook pages to answer the homework questions. she works on a point system which you can give yourself a final grade based on the work you submit. i recommend her 100% im taking her again .

Professor Rosemary Iconis's class is very easy. Her class is based on a point system, if the student receives 45 points or more you'll be given an A for her class. Also, you don't have to do all the work she gives out every week it's actually an option unless you really want the A grade by the end of the semester.

I took this class for this Fall 2021 and at first I thought it was going to be hard but it was actually easy and the readings were easy but just know that she doesn't accept late work.

Really wonderful! Professor Iconis is the best professor in the Health Department at QCC. Her work and exams are pretty easy and helpful. If you do the work, She will count how many points you earned by giving you feedback. My Advisor really recommended her to me, which was really nice! Choose her if you want to get a good grade in Health! :D

She is the easiest professor! Every week she will post a small article and 2 short questions to answer for 4 points. No makeups allowed.Exams are optional! If you happen to miss an assignment she allows extra credit at the end. It is very hard to get a grade lower than an A-. She wants all her students to win! Love her I wish I can take her again.

Recommend this professor to anyone who wants a stress free course. Her work is straightforward, 2 assignments every week due the following week and 3 exams that are up to you to take however must take final. Quizzes every end of month and her grading was absolutely the best! Make sure to read the syllabus!

She is an easy to go professor, so long as you turn in the work properly on time (since she didn't take in late submissions). If you participate in her class she will notice and it'll reflect on you positively.

I took this class over the winter, online and let me tell you, it was the easiest class I've ever taken in college. The assignments were manageable and the expectations were clear. The readings that were posted on Brightspace were very informative. No textbook was required. I would try to take this professor again if possible.

This professor is great and has the best grading system. She offers many hw assignments and you choose which ones to complete. If you do enough of them you're guaranteed to get an A. Exams were easy, coursework was interesting, and study guides were provided for exams.

One of the best health professors at QCC, with one of the best grading systems. Assignments are 2-4 points, and exams are 5 points if answered correctly. She does not accept late work tho. After you get the highest grade/points possible, you can choose not to do anymore assignments. I highly recommend taking her class, which is impossible to fail.

This should be an easy A for most people her criteria on grading is very simple and if you ACE all your assignments once you eclipse enough points for an A you can stop doing the coursework. She's a great professor that provides easily understandable coursework and couples that with engaging articles. Would take her again!
