The best professor ever.

I have been terrified of math until I took this guys class. He is very polite and very clear. If you have been struggling in math, he will help give you the foundation you need to be successful. He does a great job at not making you feel stupid when you have to ask a question, he actually gets really excited and wants to help you.

Mr. Brooks is an amazing professor.Like everyone else, I've always been afraid to like math because I wasn't encouraged enough to enjoy it; however, once I enter Brooks class math has been one of my favorite subs. He doesn't necessarily gives extra credit he gives what is expected of you, but most people passes his class with a A or B.

Over-all good professor. Would benefit from using simpler examples to clarify confusing text. If you let him, he will walk you through passing class. Most people hurt their grade from laziness. Needs to take command of class better at times, but is a fair and intelligent professor. Wait for the free points and study for tests.

Professor Brooks is the most amazing teacher I have ever had. Math was not a great subject for me but because of him, I feel like I actually understand it. He is kind, funny, and relatable. He understands ways teach without overwhelming us. He is also really fair when it comes to grades. I cannot explain how much I am in love with this teacher.

After being out of school for 10 years and having a history of trouble in math, Mr. Brooks made it extremely easy to grasp difficult concepts. He takes his time and tries to ensure everyone who pays attention will have a fair chance at extra points and what to expect on your exams. If you have a question just ask, if you fail it's your own fault.

Great professor, if you attend class take the notes. Do all the assignments and homework. He is constantly giving out extra credit. You should be fine. Easy A class, as long as you study and know the material. Book isn't mandatory just make sure you get access code for MYSTAT Lab.

Mr. Brooks is a great professor! He explains all of the material extremely well. He is also very considerate. He notice that most of the students were complaining that the MyStatsLab(Lab) was frustrating and more difficult then his notes. So he begin to add examples from Lab into his lectures. I just finished his summer B express session with a 88%

Mr. Brooks is an awesome professor. I just recently took his Summer June Express course and it was awesome. He is not a dull teacher and he will answer every question you have before, during, and after every class. If you study and/or go to office hours for questions you will have no problem passing his course with an A or a B. He makes stats fun!

Very patient if you don't understand it the first time. Usually I feel judged by math professors when I ask them to repeat something I don't understand. They'll respond with a sign and reluctance to go over what they had just gone over. With professor Brooks, he is willing to go over your trouble areas any number of times with no judgment.

Professor Brooks is an excellent teacher. Pay attention in class and start the stablabs as soon as you cover any material and youll be fine. Gives fair extensions are the start of term for issues with Statlab if there are issues. Tests are easy if you pay attention and attend class. Keeps you engaged and gives easy to follow lectures.

Mr. Brooks rocks! I have always had a difficult time in math, but he explained things in a way that was easy for me to understand. Three tests and a final, two in class quizzes, and online homework and quizzes on mymathlab, Had a review for each test and exam.

You can tell how much he loves statistics and how much he really cares about his students and there success. He is really funny and the class is a lot of fun. Makes the lectures apply to real life. Professor Brooks was great. I earned a C because I didn't do so well on the test, but I done the MYSTATLAB assignments. It helped my grade out a lot! Make sure you do really well on those if you're not the best test taker. Definitely enjoyed his class overall.

Ross is a good instructor. Clear on expectations, competent in the subject matter. Willing to help and there are no dumb questions in his class. Three test and a final. He replaces your lowest test grade with your final grade if its higher. Every test has an extra credit opportunity. No book necessary! Do homework! Go to class and you'll pass.

Mr. Brooks is probably the best online teacher I have ever had. He was on top of his online class, unlike a lot of other online teachers that ignore them. He posted very helpful video conferences each week and decent study guides. Mr. Brooks was very helpful and is there when you need him. It is not that easy, but if you work hard you will get an A

Professor Ross is the most organized professor I have had throughout my whole career at TCC. He knows the material very well and explains what you need to know before the tests, and yes he does provide a study guide. He is a very nice guy, I wish he taught all of the math courses!

SUCH a nice guy. Mr. Brooks is super clear when it comes to lectures. I've gotten over 100% on every test even though math is not typically my strong suit. VERY, VERY organized structure. If you miss a class, you will get behind though so just try to keep up your attendance. 10/10 would recommend! ((Kind of cute too.))

Most wonderful teacher I have ever encountered. He truly is great at what he does. If you pay attention and do your work, it would be hard not to excel in this course. I was worried about taking a math class online, but found that Prof. Brooks was very organized and made it easy to understand the material. He posts "conferences" where he goes over the notes and test reviews so you can be prepared for tests. These reviews are EVERYTHING. Study the reviews and you will pass the class.

Prof. Brooks is adorable and amazing. He made Stats so easy to understand! He really wants his students to succeed and to actually learn the material. So glad he was the instructor. I've heard horror stories about Stats and I passed with an A. He also drops the lowest exam grade. Watch his lectures and study and you'll pass w/ no prob!

Loved Professor Brooks! His online class isn't bad at all. He is very helpful and goes above and beyond to make sure you are doing okay. He sends emails every week reminding us of upcoming assignments or tests. Very, very punctual teacher. His lectures are very easy to follow along because he uses his own wording to where we can understand it.

Professor Brooks is one of the greatest math professors I've ever had. I'm not naturally inclined to math myself, but he made it as pain free as possible. He puts up about 6 or 7 videos 10 minute videos per chapter explaining the concepts, and does so in a non-monotonous way. He's also very accessible via virtual office hours. Highly recommend.

Best online teacher ever! He has videos of him teaching step by step and everything on the videos are on the homeworks, quizzes and tests! The videos are SOOO helpful! He responds very quick. Amazing study guides and even gives the answers to the study guide! You should definently take him!

This is the best teacher I've ever had. I struggle with math alot and he explained everything crystal clear, gives out study guides-especially when the final comes up, and gives tons of opportunities to get your grade up and for extra credit. If you dont get an A in his class its because you didnt want it, not because you couldnt get it.

He was an amazing teacher. I had him for both Intermediate Math and College Algebra. Very accessible outside of class and clear on what he expects from the class. I would highly recommend him as a teacher.

I was nervous about taking a Stats class online. And although if I did it again, I would not take it online, this professor made it possible to pass. Don't need the textbook but needs online access code. AWESOME at getting back fast with students. Willing to help. Tests are a little challenging but he does give reviews. 3 tests and a final.

If you watch all the videos, do your homework and review you can pass his class with an A or B. I made an A in the course. I would recommend him for anyone looking for a online class.

Online class notes and videos detail exactly what you need to know and show you how to do it. If you read them and watch the videos there is no reason you shouldn't learn the material and pass with an A or B.

Professor Brooks is a great teacher. In the past I HATED Statistics, but I thoroughly enjoyed it with Professor Brooks. The tests aren't too hard, but you definitely need to study. The lectures that he provides and in detail and easy to understand. He gives you the option to work ahead if you would like. Overall I would take his class again.

The class was online so it was very helpful that he created video examples of how to do the specific problems. He was quick to respond to emails; within the same day. Tests were 60% of the grade so it is important to study and grasps concepts before the test.

Great professor! You have 2 wks to do HW & 1 Quiz. TIP: take notes on his powerpoints & watch his videos (they're very helpful). 4 exams (including final, which is the hardest). Use his provided study guides - almost exactly like tests! Work hard, use his resources, and you'll succeed! Would highly recommend!

Prof Brooks is amazing! I had failed stats before at FSU so I was really worried about taking this class online. He explains things so well and the online course is set up so well. He responds almost immediately when emailed and gives tons of chances for extra credit. You do have to be motivated and study hard though! Definitely recommend! 5 stars!

Professor Brooks laid out the lessons and walked through each step of every problem, even taking the time to constantly refresh our minds of the fundamentals, i.e. fractions, square roots. Algebra is a tough, overwhelming course, but Professor Brooks is a TEACHER, not just an instructor, who patiently teaches you to UNDERSTAND algebra, not fear it

Very straight forward, 3 tests for whole semester and a final provides a study guide for each test that is pretty much the exact test and not a-lot of homework.

Mr. Brooks was the coolest professor! He was very organized where you could just print note sets and he would go over them in class. There were only three tests and a final exam and homework in between. His study guides were amazing! He even posted videos working through the guide. His words, "If it's not on the study guide, it's not on the test."

This dude is awesome! Lectures are straight to the point and extremely helpful. Easygoing, funny guy who responds to emails in a timely manner and is more than willing to help his students. Study guides are spot on - you definitely want to go through those before each exam. I definitely recommend him - especially if you struggle with math!

I took his online class for Statistics and even though I have a hard time in math, usually, his chapter videos and notes were very easy to comprehend. There is a lot of homework but you can do it as many times as you need to in order to get a good grade. He gives study guides for the exams and as long as you study, it's not hard to pass.

He is extremely nice. I never used the book because the lectures were on point. You can use all notes on every test even the final. I printed the ones he gave us online and used them to follow videos and the tests. Homework is unlimited tries. Extra credit is given. He accidentally put a B on my final grade but fixed it w/in 3 days very apologetic

I have never been good with math but Professor Brooks really cares about his students success. He will respond to any emails in about 30 minutes and he will always make time to meet with you and answer any questions you have. Stay on top of the material and the class will go smoothly.

This class was easy for me because I took AP stats in hs but just didn't pass the exam. There are videos on every subject and you can use notes on all tests even the final. He is so good at explaining everything and always answers emails quickly. He also grades quickly so that was a plus. I would recommend this class to anyone.

I am not a math person, but stats is something I enjoy. This is my 3rd statistics class and Prof Brooks has been the best out of all three. He really knows his stuff and is very good at explaining concepts of statistics.

Professor Brooks was a fantastic instructor overall. I've never loved math, and thought I would dread statistics, but he made it engaging, informative, and generally a fun course. He grades and responds to emails quickly, and clearly cares about his students. Participate, follow along, and do your homework and you're almost guaranteed to do well.

I have always hated math, never understood it and enjoyed it. This is the first year EVER that I've had a teacher that takes the time and records every section into youtube videos. He has so much helpful material, I printed all the notes at the beginning of the semester and every week I just followed along. He is the best teacher i've ever had.

He was one of my best teachers yet. Math is pretty difficult for me and so is online learning. Professor Brooks made it so there were also video tutorials, access to lectures from class, and if you needed him at any time he was there. He explains everything in depth step by step. This is probably the only class that I actually learned from.

Highly recommend Professor Brooks if you need a Stats class. The work load is easy and the tests are all open notes. As long as you pay attention to his lectures and take some notes it's an easy A. On top of that he is always trying to help you and your grade out and probably the nicest professor I've had.

Professor brooks was great at explaining new lessons with full details and steps to follow. He was always on top of emails and zoom chats making sure his students got the full learning experience and got full understanding. He mentions in his syllabus to make it personal and do so as he cares for your grade if you show that you care.

I love this class, as long as you finish the homework and take the tests on time it's super easy to pass. He provides so many materials (video lectures, powerpoints with examples, pre-written notes that you can print out and use in exams!). He's super considerate and responsive to student needs and gives feedback every unit for problem areas.

Great professor. Kind and caring. He was always willing to help and asked multiple times. He provided a free online textbook that the homework was in which is a plus. All assignments asked for were easy and quiz questions come directly from the HW. Only 4 tests and the final exam was optional. Great prof. and good looking.

I thought that taking this class online would help me pass this class. I did very poorly on the first few tests and started attending his in-person classes two times a week to help me. He explains everything very well in person and basically goes over what exactly is going to be on the test in person! 10/10 recommend taking this class in person!!!

Im usually someone who struggles with math, but I managed to pass his class with an A. He provides good video lectures, notes, and power points. The homework isnt hard as long as you look over the notes and power points. The tests are like the homework and open note so if you print the notes out, take your own notes you should do good/review hw.

My grade would've been a lot higher had I stayed on top of my work and put forth more effort in the classroom. There's literally no way you can fail unless you just don't do the assignments.

I am the worst at math and didn't think I would do well in this class, but Professor Brooks was fantastic! I'm glad I took him for statistics and would totally do it again. The homeworks were pretty lengthy, and you need to submit photos of handwritten notes, but the notes will help with the homework!

By far the best teacher for an online class. Has video lectures on all chapters/provides outlines for notes. Does require handwritten note submissions, which can be used for exams. No way to fail if you take good notes. Spent my life in the learning center for STA2023, but I haven't had to get help even once in Mr. Brooks" class. Highly recommend!
