Ross (as he likes to be called) is very personable. If you're afraid of stats, I can't think of a better person to take the class from. He can talk too fast and his lectures are not very clear if you haven't read the book, but read the book and do some practice exercises and you'll do fine.

Flom is funny and chill. It's not super necessary to go to class. You HAVE to read the chapters in the book to do well on the test. Only one essay and three midterms and a final. I thought I would like it more than I do, but he is still a funny professor. I find the tests to be a little challenging, but read and you'll do fine.

There is not a professor on BYU's campus who cares more about his students and their lives, and how they are doing. Ross is hilarious and wants his students to succeed, that being said, his tests are somewhat tough, he does a review before them though. Ross is a boss.

I am not sure why people like his classes. His classes contain little new information and his lectures are very boring to listen to. He does not relate well to his students - he is in my opinion too formal and somewhat opinionated. I excepted more.

Ross is fantastic! He's pretty much my favorite professor at BYU. He loves teaching and genuinely cares about his students. He takes the time to actually talk to you and see how you're doing. He'll give you as much help as you need and makes the 3hr lectures as painless as possible. Fun fact: he gives himself bad ratings on here for some reason.

Lots of students seem to like Flom, but I found his class to be poor. The textbook is wonderful and the tests are straight from it, so if you do the reading there's really no need to even go to lecture. If you do go to lecture, brace yourself for a lot of dating-related tangents and profanity (at least one curse word every lecture) from Dr. Flom.
