he is a good teacher. that is all u should do is concentrate in his class. if u do that, everything will be fine. not very hard exams, inculding final. anyways, good teacher! be with him!

Teaches very well and WILL answer your questions if you ask (he is very aproachable though he doesn't show it). You gotta love his math-prof dry humor. However, the tests are just FROM HELL. I wouldn't call them unfair but you gotta work for every mark.

Very helpful, funny, and informative especially about the term project and keys to success in life. Overhead notes and explanations can be confusing. Spent a bit too much time on homework review to the point that we didn't learn everything, but we asked too many questions in return. Recommanded.

he is a grear teacher! his class is very interesting, i had a really great time in this class. Even though it's hard to tell from outside, he is a really nice guy. You can ask whatever question you have. Don't miss classess and work hard, you will get a good grade!

Very nice person. Do what he says: Read the book before class. Do the book problems before the midterms/final. Do the problems he assigns (He doesn't collect it, but do it anyhow). The exams questions are exactly like the book problems. How hard can it be? Can't see a reason not to get a B+ at least.

A nice prof who is prepared for every class. He's not a hard marker (except for the case papers). It's highly recommended you do the text problems, and read the text. He allows a one page help sheet for midterm & final. Watch out for pop quizzes. However, this class is a LOT of work! YOU have to ASK for clarification on things. Overall, he's OK.

Good teacher helps clear things but is easily distracted

This man goes out of his way to help students-- he offers his mornings and explains things so clearly. The best math teacher anyone could ever ask for. Patient, kind and knowledgeable.

Nice guy!! Questions are from the text but picks like 10 from 200. Does only questions from text in-class or quizzes also from text(openbook). Easy marker. Gives bonus marks if u catch his mistakes in class which count on next mid/final. Let's u have cheat sheets as well which takes so much of the burden off of u. Totally recommended!! :):)

Super sweet man, very helpful! Test questions from the text, so do every question, u'll get 100%. I can see y some are annoyed with him. He's a little absent minded and easily distracted if you ask him off topic questions. But it's grade 11 math! boring by nature! Cheat sheets allowed on exams. No excuse for class average of 60%. I got 100%!

At 1st, not sure if I liked him, but turned out to b a pretty good instructor, quite funny as well! He does tend to get distracted both by himself and the students.. lol. 1 day he will have a lengthy discussion about politics, another day he will be giving you relationship advice, haha. The students had to get him back on track. Would recommend tho

class average on the midterm was 80%... enough said. Really easy marker. Course material is hard and he doesnt really explain it that well. The stimulation exercise turns out to be actually quite fun. Would recommend him.

SUPER NICE teacher, he lets you have a cheat sheet for all midterms and final. He does go off topic sometimes but its all in good fun and just his character. Highly recommended.

To be honest, I can not find anything that would be wrong with this guy, Hes probably one of the best profs if you are a business student because he tries to understand the student and his needs. If you bomb a midterm, he gives you a really good chance to regain the mark. Altogether,easy, understanding,and useful. Langara needs more profs like him!

You need to pay attendion and his word wrote on the board is very small. Do a lot of exercises in class. Grade will be adjusted after looking at the class performance.

EASY CLASS IF YOUR NOT AN IDIOT, ATTENDANCE HELPS BUT ISNT MANDATORY.. YOUR EVEN ALLOWED CHEAT SHEETS FOR TESTS GUYS & GIRLS, HOW DO YOU DO POORLY??? ALSO, NOT MUCH IN THE WAY OF HW WHICH IS NICE.

He's a good math teacher though at times he needs to be corrected in class(but you get bonus marks if you do!). He allows cheat sheets on exams and the homework assignments help boost your marks. DO YOUR HMWK! Also his mini quizzes in class are easy because you can do it with friends so attend class! No one should get lower than a C in this class.

He's one of my favourite profs here. He's very kind and really wants to help students understand concepts. You get bonus marks for correcting him in class. Midterms aren't too bad,plus you get a helpsheet. He's also a pretty good fatherly figure. People try to take advantage of him though. The only con I can think of is small writing and unclear Qs

This class was ridiculously easy, but not only that, Ros is DETERMINED to get you an A. He might be the nicest guy at Langara, and bonus points are given generously. He also loves to give business and life tips during class which is kind of hilarious. Too bad the content was so boringly easy. I would have paid more attention. He deserves it.

Really nice and sweet guy. Can go on tangents which can be tough to pay attention to. He also seems to have outdated views on the world which can be a bit frustrating to listen to. If you are a talented math student you do not need the textbook. If it doesn't come naturally to you I would recommend getting it.

Best prof ever. He will help YOU anyway possible to get an A. However, you do have to work for it, if your lazy then youll get a C or low B. But all his questions are from the text book so do them until you understand them!

Not an exciting class. You will need to study on your own time and do lots of examples. He will help you a lot if you require it. If you can't get a good grade you didn't really try as he allows help sheets in his exams.

He is nice!

Barely teaches during class time, he talks about his life. Always asks us to work on assignment while expecting us to know all the materials before we come to class. Allows help sheet in the exam where you can write anything there. You'll have to work hard in order to get a good grade.

Lectures are sometimes confusing and unclear as if he is talking to himself. Here is when the textbook is mandatory, you have to read by yourself to understand more. If you go to his office hours he is very willing to help. Only 1 midterm (easy), 1 final (hard), and 1 group project.

Ros is one of the nicest teachers I have had at Langara, he genuinely cares about his students and has a unique sense of humour. Attend his class, do his practice midterms and textbook questions to study.

Best prof at Langara. Doesn't tend to reply to emails quite often, but his office hours are super helpful. He pretty much tutors you! Does daily quizzes as attendance, so as long as you pay attention in class you will do fine during the quiz. HIGHLY RECOMMEND ROS! He is super cool and very funny.

BEST PROF! I nearly failed my middle and high school math classes cause of the bad teachers. with Mr. Ros EVERYTHING CHANGED! he gave such CLEAR instructions and made everything EASIER to understand! He is super chill and inspirational as well. 100% RECOMMEND HIM!!

I give Ros a 5 star rating because he is easy marker, and gives out easy marks, his teaching is slow, and packed with mistakes in lecture, Sauder goal. Pop quizzes are done as a class so ask help from your friends 10/10 and create network of classmates to partner up and help each other later on there 1 project and 1 simulation game was tough

Only giving him 4/5 because he's a bit quiet and can be difficult to hear from the back of the room. His lectures just go over textbook questions and he gives quizzes comprised of similar questions at the end of each class. He gives bonus marks to students who catch mistakes. Just don't skip class, sit up front and take notes if you want to pass.

Rostam is truly amazing, he love teaching and he loves to engage with students,he sometimes he gives some investment cases and does them in the class which are interesting and shows how experience he is in the business world field. Pick a front seat in his class. And feel free to become friendly with him is always open to the students.

Great instructor

A nice prof who will answer ur Qs multiple times if u do care. But at first, u may find it hard to follow him and self-study becomes important. As the class turns online, he cancelled a lot of things, but it means u have little chance to regain lost marks. He is a fine teacher who enjoys teaching and cherishes his students.

He's the sweetest prof out there. He genuinely wants to help you learn. That being said, online teaching isn't really his thing so it might be hard to follow along when he's teaching. He's always available for office hours. The final is slightly harder than the midterm but he gives a clear outline for both.

TAKE HIS CLASS!! He is caring the class and always gi ve us good feedback. The midterm is easy, project is not so hard but it take a lot of time to finish it, but final is hard. Overall, It is a good experience to take this class:))

Ros is a super genuine instructor who really cares about his students. His classes are easy to follow and he is willing to answer any questions. I appreciate how there are no quizzes if the whole class does their homework. The only thing about Ros is that he talks for a really long time and sometimes goes off topic but he is a great prof!
